يا معلم

أم أبواه لأنه ولد أعمى

Jesus answered and said.

لهذا أخطأ ولا أبواه

وطل بها عيني

"And my eyes were captivated by her."

المولود أعمى وقال له

The newborn is blind and said to him.

اذهب فخس الوجهك

Go and lose your face.

في بركة سلوان

الذي تفسيره المرسل

The interpretation of the sender.

فذهب وغسل وجهه

So he went and washed his face.

وأتى بصيرا

And he came seeing.

فجيرانه والذين يعرفونه من قبل

"His fire and those who knew him before."

أنه كان أعمى

He was blind.

كانوا يقولون

They used to say.

أليس هذا هو الذي كان

Isn't this the one that was?

يجلس وأستعطي

He sits and I beg.

فقوم كانوا يقولون أنه هو

So people used to say that it is him.

وآخرون كانوا يقولون

And others would say.

لا لكنه يشبههم

No, but he resembles them.

أما هو

As for him

فكان يقول

He used to say.

أني أنا هو

I am he.

فقالوا له

They said to him.

كيف فانفتحت عيناك

How then did your eyes open?

أجاب ذاك وقال

He answered that and said.

الإنسان الذي يدعى سوء صنع طينا

The person who is called bad has made clay.

وطلبي عينيه

And my request is his eyes.

وقال لي اذهب وخس الوجهك

He said to me, "Go and lose your face."

في سلوان

In Silwan.

فمضيت وقسلت وجهي فأبصرت

So I went and washed my face, and I saw.

قالوا له

They said to him.

أين ذاك الإنسان

Where is that person?

قال لا أعلم

He said, "I don't know."

فقدموا الذي كان قبلا أعمى

So they presented the one who was previously blind.

إلى الفرسيين

To the Persians

وكان سبت

And it was Saturday.

لما صنع صوى الطين وفتح عينيه

When he made the clay sculpture and opened his eyes.

فسأله أيضا الفرسيون

So the Persians also asked him.

كيف أبصرت

How did you see?

قال لهم

He said to them.

وضع طينا على عينيه

He put mud on his eyes.

واختسلت

And I washed myself.

فأبصرت

I saw.

فقال قوم من الفرسيين

And a group of the Persians said.

أن هذا الإنسان ليس من الله

This person is not from God.

لأنه لا يحفظ السبت

Because he does not observe the Sabbath.

وقال أخرون

Others said

كيف يقدر الإنسان خاطئ

How can a person be wrong?

أن يعمل مثل هذه الآيات

To perform such miracles.

وكان بينهم شقاط

And there was a dispute among them.

قالوا أيضا للأعمى

They also said to the blind man.

ماذا تقول أنت عنه

What do you say about it?

لأنه فتح عينيه

Because he opened his eyes.

فقال إنه لنبي

He said, "He is a prophet."

فلم يصدق اليهود

The Jews did not believe.

أنه كان أعمى

That he was blind.

وأبصر حتى دعوا أبويه

"And he saw until they called his parents."

فسألهم

So he asked them.

هما قائلين

They are saying.

أهذا ابنكم

Is this your son?

الذي تقولان أنه ولد أعمى

The one you both say was born blind.

فكيف يبصر الآن

So how can he see now?

أجاب أبويه وقال

He answered his parents and said.

نحن نعلم أن هذا

We know that this.

ولدنا

We were born.

وأننا ولدنا أعمى

"And that we were born blind."

أما كيف يبصر الآن فلا نعلم

As for how he sees now, we do not know.

أو من فتح عينيه

Or he who opened his eyes.

فلا نعلم

So we do not know.

هو كامل السن سألوه

قال أبويه هذا لأنهما

كان خفافان اليهود

أن اليهود كانوا قد قرروا أنه

إن اعترف أحد بأنه المسيح

If someone confesses that he is the Messiah.

يخرج من المجمع

He is leaving the mall.

لذلك قال أبويه أنه كامل السن سليم

Therefore, his parents said that he is of full age and sound.

فدعوا ثانيا رجل الذي كان أعمى

So they called the man who had been blind again.

وقالوا له

And they said to him.

يعطي مجدا لله

Glory be to God.

نحن نعلم أن هذا الإنسان خاطئ

We know that this person is wrong.

فأجاب الذي كان أعمى قائلا

So the one who was blind responded by saying

إن كان خاطئا

If it is wrong.

فلا أعلم

I do not know.

إنما أعرف شيئا واحدا

I only know one thing.

إن كنت أعمى الآن

If I am blind now.

والآن أبصر

And now I see.

قالوا له ماذا صنع بك

They said to him, "What have they done to you?"

كيف فتح عينيك

How did you open your eyes?

أجابهم

He answered them.

قد قلت لكم فلم تسمعوا

I told you, but you did not listen.

فماذا تريدون

So what do you want?

أن تسمعوا أيضا

To hear also.

هل تريدون أن تصيروا له تلميذ

Do you want to become his student?

فشتموه قائلين أنت تلميذ ذاك

They cursed him, saying, "You are a disciple of that one."

أما نحن

As for us

فإننا تلميذ موسى

For we are the students of Moses.

ونحن نعلم أن الله كلم موسى وأما هذا

And we know that Allah spoke to Moses, but this.

فلا نعلم من أين هو

So we do not know where he is from.

أجاب الرجل قال لهم

The man answered them.

إن كن هذا أيضا

If this is also the case.

إن هذا أيضا لعجب

This is indeed surprising.

أنكم لا تعرفون من أين هو

وقد فتح عينيه

And he opened his eyes.

ونعلم أن الله لا يسمع

And we know that Allah does not hear.

وقال من هو سيد

And he said, "Who is the master?"

لأؤمن به

To believe in him.

فقال له يسوع أنك ترى

And Jesus said to him, "You see."

وهو الذي يكلمك

And He is the one who speaks to you.

فقال أؤمن يا رب وسجد لهم

He said, "I believe, O Lord," and he prostrated to them.

فقال

He said

يسوع أتيت أنا دينون للعالم

Jesus, I have come to judge the world.

حتى يبصر العميان

Until the blind can see.

ويعمل مصرون

And they work hard.

فسمع قوم الفرسيين

And the people of the Persians heard.

الذين كانوا معه وقالوا

Those who were with him said

له

To him.

لعلنا نحن أيضا عميان

Perhaps we are also blind.

فقال لهم يسوع

Jesus said to them.

لو كنتم عميانا لما

If you were blind, then...

كانت لكم خطية

You had a sin.

والآن تقولون أننا نبصر

And now you say that we can see.

فخطيئتكم باقية

And your sin remains.

والمجد لله دائما أبدا

And glory be to God always and forever.

This is one of the born blind.

وطبعا بداية الأحد أو بداية اللقاء

And of course, the beginning of Sunday or the beginning of the meeting.

إنه كان مولود أعمى

He was born blind.

لكن

But

النتيجة ده أحد الاستنارة

The result is one of enlightenment.

لأنه

إنسان

Human

مولود من بطن أمه أعمى مش

Born from his mother's womb blind, isn't he?

جاله فقد البصر في مرحلة من مراحل عمره

He lost his sight at one stage in his life.

فهو مولود أعمى

He is a born blind.

وبعد لقاءه بالسيد المسيح

And after his meeting with Mr. Christ.

تغير حاله تماما بقى حاجة تانية

His situation has completely changed; he became something else.

السيد المسيح كان في حوار مع التلاميذ

The Lord Christ was in a conversation with the disciples.

هما مع الديين

They are with the two religions.

والتلاميذ سألوه هادا أخطأ أم أبواه

The students asked him if this was a mistake or his parents'.

وكان ده اعتقاد زائد وطبعا أخطاء خاطئ

This was an excessive belief and of course a wrong mistake.

إنه الإنسان اللي بيعاها مستديمة مثلا مولود أعمى مفلوق

He is the person who sells it permanently, for example, a blind newborn.

ده فيه غضب الله حل على هذا الإنسان

The wrath of God has descended upon this person.

وهذا الإنسان به خطيئة

And this person has a sin.

سواء هو أو سواء أبواه

With the entry of sin into the world.

الإنسان عارف كل ما هو سلبي

A person is aware of everything that is negative.

من أمراض وحروب وخطايا

From diseases, wars, and sins.

فناتج من نواتك السقوط والخطيئة المرض

The result of your fall and sin is sickness.

بس مش كل إنسان زي ما قالوا كده التلاميذ

But not everyone is like what the students said.

إنه كل إنسان أو كان الاعتقاد عندهم

It is every person or that was their belief.

كل إنسان به مرض يبقى ده على طول يبقى إنسان خاطئ

Every person who has a disease remains in it all the time is a sinful person.

فالحوار كان بين السيد النساء والسيد الخاطئ

The dialogue was between the lady of women and the master of sin.

فالحوار كان بين السيد النسيح والتلاميذ

The dialogue was between Mr. Al-Nasih and the students.

وسألوه ده أخطأ ولا إبواه

They asked him if he was wrong or his parents.

فقال لهم ولا هو والإبواه لكن لتظهر أعمال الله

He said to them, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but so that the works of God might be displayed."

Where do the works of God appear?

غير في مجال محتاج لظهور أعمال الله

It is in a field that needs the manifestation of the works of God.

يعني احتياج والاطلاع والاستمتاع بأعمال الله

It means the need, awareness, and enjoyment of God's creations.

هنجد أنه

We will find that

الله بيعمل في كل المجالات

God works in all areas.

لكن تظهر أعمال الله في مواقف كتير

But God's works appear in many situations.

وبالذات في تظهر واضحة جدا في مواقف كده تبان فيها أعمال الله

"Especially, it becomes very clear in situations that show God's works."

الإنسان اللي كان في المولود أعمى ده

The person who was in the born blind.

وسواء العمى أو أي أمراض تانية

Whether blindness or any other diseases.

الإنسان اللي في عهات مستمرة طول حياته

A person who has continuous disabilities throughout their life.

إنسان مفيش شك أنه عنده ضيقات وعنده أتهاكات

A person undoubtedly has troubles and violations.

أعاب من المرض

He was afflicted by the illness.

لكن أعمال الله تظهر جالية وبوضوح في حياة

But the works of God are evident and clear in life.

ناس كتيرين

Many people

عندهم أمراض وناس تانية

They have diseases and other people.

مش شرط يكون عندهم عمل العين لكن مفيش بصيرة

It's not necessary for them to have the work of the eye, but there is no insight.

فما يقدروش يشوفوا أعمال الله

"They cannot see the works of God."

بعد الحوار ده سيد المسيح خد التفل والطين

After this conversation, Lord Christ took the spit and the clay.

فما كانش لحد الوقت الشخص ده شاف يسوع

No one had seen Jesus until that moment.

ولما اليهود سألوه قالهم واحد اسمه يسوع

When the Jews asked him, he said one named Jesus.

مين اللي شافه قالهم واحد اسمه يسوع

Whoever saw him told them it was a man named Jesus.

طب فين معرفش أنا مشيت أعمى من عنده

So where, I don't know, I walked away blind from him.

يعني آخر اللقاء بي كنت ما زلت أعمى

It means that by the end of the meeting with you, I was still blind.

ومشيت معرفش هو فيني ما عنديش فكرة

And I walked, not knowing what was in me, I have no idea.

فما كانش له سابق معرفة بالسيد المسيح

And this eye, without light, has no sight.

العين دي بدون النور

This eye is without light.

لو هي الإنسان مفتح في مكان ظلمة

If she is the person opened in a place of darkness.

ما زالت العين دي مش هتستطيع رؤية أي شيء

This eye still won't be able to see anything.

فبالنسبة للإنسان الأعمى مش السيد المسيح بس إداله

As for the blind person, it is not only the Lord Christ who has given him.

عاد له البصر بتاعه ده عامل معاه حاجات

His vision has returned; it's doing things for him.

يعني ألا بحياته 180 درجة

Assessment level and grades

إنسان مولود أعمى يعني في اعتقاد الناس كده

A person born blind means that people believe this way.

كلهم الناس تشاور عليه تقول ده إنسان أعمى

Everyone is consulting about him, saying he is a blind person.

فيه عاقة فيه خطية كمان

There is disobedience in it, and there is sin as well.

كل الناس تشاور عليه ده معروف إن إنسان ده

Everyone talks about him; it's well known that this person...

هو أو عيلته أو أبويه فيه خطية

He or his family or his parents are in sin.

اتحرم وهو صغير طبعا من ناملة البصر

He couldn't see like other people; he was born unable to see.

اتحرم من إنه في طفولته مثلا

إنه يستمتع مع بقية الأولاد ويلعب زيهم

He is enjoying himself with the other boys and playing like them.

ويبقاله الحياة الطبيعية زي بقية الأولاد

And he deserves a normal life like the rest of the kids.

بما إنه إنسان خاطي هم حاكموا عليه

Since he is a sinful person, they judged him.

إنه خاطي في الفكر اللي كان عاوز تصليح في الوقت ده

He is mistaken in the thought that he wanted to fix at that time.

طبعا مش من حقه ليخش الهيكل وليخش المجمع

Of course, it is not his right to enter the temple and the synagogue.

أنا عشان خش المجامع المحلية والهيكل

I am going to enter the local assemblies and the structure.

قبل الدخول لازم أروح أقدم زبيحة

يصحى الصبح بينام فين سواء عايش في بيته أو مش في بيته

The morning wakes up, where does he sleep, whether he is living in his house or not in his house?

شغلته إنه يروح يستعطي ويعتمد على الآخرين

He got him to go begging and rely on others.

حتى مقدرش يعتمد على نفسه في إنه

He can't even rely on himself to...

يقتات وإنه يكسب عيشه بكرامة زي بقية الناس

He earns his living with dignity like the rest of the people.

مش بس التلاميذ شافوا كده كمان الفرسيين

Not only the students saw that, but also the Pharisees.

The Persians say about him, "Born in sins."

يعني أنت ولدت أعمى يعني ولدت في الخطايا أنت بجملتك

منذ ولدتك لما دخل معهم في حوار وقال لهم

You said you want to become his students.

طبعا شتموه وأهنوه وهو استحق إنه

Of course they insulted and humiliated him, and he deserved it.

من أجل السيد المسيح ياخد المهانة يعني هو كان بيحلم طول عمره

For the sake of Christ, he takes humiliation, meaning he has been dreaming his whole life.

إنه يبقى بني آدم زي البني أدمين التانية يعني

He remains a human being like other human beings, I mean.

كان يعيش حياة غير آدمية الأعمى في الوقت ده فكان كل

He was living an inhumane life, the blind man at that time, so everything was...

أمنيته في الحياة إنه يبقى بس زي بني أدمين

His wish in life is to just be like human beings.

ويقدر يشتغل ويقدر يدخل المجمع ويقدر يتحرك ويعتمد

He can work, he can enter the complex, he can move, and he can be independent.

على نفسه يتحرم من ده كله واليوم اللي تم فيه

He deprives himself of all this and the day it happened.

إنه استعاد البصر يقول أخرجوه

"He has regained his sight, he says, 'Take him out.'"

من المجمع يعني ملحقش يتهنى

"From the gathering means he didn't get a chance to enjoy himself."

بالنعمة أو بالامتيازات اللي كانت تحقله

With the grace or the privileges that he used to have.

كإنسان مبصر اضطرد من المجمع لكن

As a sighted person, he was expelled from the community, but...

هذا الإنسان احتمل واشترك مع المسيح

This person endured and shared with Christ.

في الألام واشترك مع المسيح في المهانة من أجل

In the suffering and participated with Christ in the disgrace for

ارتباطه للمسيح يعني كان ممكن

His connection to Christ means it was possible.

طبعا الإنسان لما بيفتح أو الإنسان اللي فقد البصر

Of course, when a person opens up or a person who has lost their sight.

ويبدو إنه ما كانش إسهال المسيح عمل عملية خلقة للعين

It seems that the diarrhea of Christ did not perform a creation operation for the eye.

كلها فطبعا شكل الإنسان

All of them, so of course the shape of a human.

الأعمى ده وهو أعمى لو حطنا له

This blind man, even though he is blind, if we put for him...

عينين هيبقى حاجة الناس مش هتتعرف عليه لشان كده الناس كان

His eyes will be something people won't recognize, that's why people were...

تتساءل هو ده ولا مش هو والناس

You're wondering if it's him or not and the people.

اتلخبطت فيه لأنه شكله على بعضه الخارجي

I got confused by it because its exterior looks similar all over.

حتى اختلف تماما وابتدى يمشي لوحده كان لازم

Until he completely changed and started walking by himself, it was necessary.

حد يشده أو يمشي يتعصر فأصبح إنسان من

Someone pulls him or he walks and feels squeezed, so he became a person from.

الخارج شكله إنسان بني آدم طبيعي كل ملامع

The outside looks like a natural human being with all the features.

حيانه ووشه إنسان عادي إنسان بيتحرك

A good life and the face of an ordinary person, a person who moves.

فناس كتير قالت مش هو لأنه قالوا عمري

Many people said it's not him because they said my age.

شوفوه قاعد في نفس المكان على باب الهيكل والناس

Look at him sitting in the same place at the temple gate and the people.

تعطف عليه فكان معروف عند

He was kind to him, so he was well-known for it.

كتير من الناس فالناس اتلخبطت فيه

Many people got confused about it.

فالسيد المسيح مش بس

For the Lord Christ is not just...

قاعد له البصيرة ده قاعد له بصيرة

He has insight; he possesses insight.

الناس المبصرين الناس اللي هما شافوا

The people who are enlightened are the ones who have seen.

أعمال السيد المسيح برؤية العين يعني كتير قوي السيد المسيح

The works of Mr. Christ, in the eyes of many, mean a lot.

عمل معجزات لا عدد لها قدام عينيهم

He performed countless miracles before their eyes.

الناس اللي عندهم الإمكانيات يشوفوا ويعرفوا

People who have the means can see and know.

ما شافوش وأصيبوا بالعمى في الأوقات دي وما كانوش

They didn't see it and went blind at those times, and they weren't.

حاوزين يشوفوا السيد المسيح ولا يتعرفوا ولا يتعرفوا عليه

They want to see Mr. Christ but do not recognize him or get to know him.

بالرغم الأعمال الجليلة اللي ظهرت أمامهم

Despite the magnificent work that appeared before them.

لكنهم كانوا مصرين إن يعيشوا

But they were insistent on living.

في الضلال مش حاوزين يعترفوا إن هو ده السيد المسيح وهو ده

In delusion, they don't want to admit that this is the Lord Christ, and this is it.

المسيح المنتظر يسوع اللي تولد ده مش حاوزين يعترفوا أبداً

The awaited Messiah, Jesus, whom they do not want to acknowledge at all.

بيه إن هو المرسل وكلمة الله المرسل للعالم

"In him is the Messenger and the Word of God sent to the world."

اللي يخلص العالم كان فيه إيه تاني

Whoever finishes the world, what else was there?

السيد المسيح بيقول للأعمى ده وبيقول لنا كلنا يعني بيقول

Christ is saying to this blind man, and He is saying to all of us, meaning He is saying...

لنا إيه تاني يعني الأعمى ده كان يحلم

What else do we have? I mean, this blind person was dreaming.

به أكتر من كده أعظم عطية في حياته السيد المسيح

There is no greater gift in his life than Jesus Christ.

ادهاله لأنه أعاد له بصره لكن

He was amazed because he restored his sight, but...

هو ده بس

That's it.

المسيح يقول مش بس هديك ده ولا هديكن

Christ says not only to give you this but to give you all.

هندينا كلنا اللي حاوز يشوف النور

We have all the tools for anyone who wants to see the light.

عطايا المسيح لا تحصى ولا تعدى وتفوق تصور البشر

The gifts of Christ are countless and surpass human imagination.

النهاردة في الكاتوليكون بيقول القديس سبحانه

Today in the Catholic liturgy, they say the saint is exalted.

ونعلم أن ابن الله قد جاء

And we know that the Son of God has come.

وأعطانا بصيره طب ما إحنا كلنا

"And it gave us insight, so what are we all?"

مفتاحين وكلنا عندنا بصيره وكلنا عندنا نظر

Two keys, and we all have insight, and we all have vision.

لأ ده أعطانا كلنا بصيره قبل كده كنا مفيش بصيره

No, he gave us all insight; before that, we had no insight.

مكانش فيه بصيره قبل السيد المسيح مكانش فيه

There was no insight before Lord Christ; there was none.

نور في العالم كان العالم بياكل ويشرب وعايش

Light in the world, the world was eating and drinking and living.

لكن النور الحقيقي مش نور الشمس

But the true light is not the light of the sun.

النور الحقيقي هو السيد المسيح في سفر ملاخي

The true light is Lord Christ in the Book of Malachi.

يقول لكم أيها الجالسون في الظلمة

He says to you, O you who sit in darkness.

تشرق شمس البر والشفاء في أجنحتها كل

The sun of light and healing rises in its wings.

البشرية قبل ما جي السيد المسيح كانت عايشة في الظلمة

Humanity before the arrival of Lord Christ was living in darkness.

ولكن بوجود المسيح واشراقه للعالم

But with the presence of Christ and His radiance for the world.

تبددت الظلمة من العالم طبعا مش عاوزين

The darkness has disappeared from the world, of course we don't want that.

نقول إن ده كلام عام يعني العالم تبددت منه الظلمة

We say that this is a general statement, meaning that the darkness has vanished from the world.

وأنا جزء من العالم لو ما تبددتش

And I am part of the world, if I don't dissipate.

التبددتش للظلمة من حياتي يبقى مزال

The darkness that has dispersed from my life still remains.

نور المسيح ما أشرقش في حياتي القديس سبحانه

The light of Christ has not shone in my life, blessed is He.

يقول ونعلم أن الله إبن الله قد جاء وأعطانا بصيرة

He says, and we know that the Son of God has come and has given us insight.

لنعرف الحق ونحن في الحق في

"Let us know the truth while we are in the truth."

ابنه يسوع البصيرة بدون الحق

His son, Jesus, is the insight without the truth.

وبدون هو جيتنا البصيرة عشان نعرف الحق

And without him, insight comes to us so that we may know the truth.

قبل كده الناس ما كانتش تعرف الحق الناس كان قدامها الحق

Before, people did not know the truth; the truth was right in front of them.

لأنه السيد المسيح قال أنا هو النور

Because Lord Christ said, "I am the light."

وقال أنا هو الطريق وأنا هو الحق وأنا هو الحياة

And he said, "I am the way, and I am the truth, and I am the life."

فالناس يبقى قدامها الحق لكن الناس بدون بصيرة

People have the truth in front of them, but they are without insight.

لا تبصر الحق اللي شاف الحق مين إنسان كان

"Do not see the truth, for whoever has seen the truth, what kind of person were they?"

مولود أعمى أو تولد أعمى لكن النسيح إداله بصيرة

"Born blind or born blind but the messiah gave him insight."

فإدر يتعرف عن الحق

So, the truth is revealed.

لو نرجع البيت ده الإصحاح التاسع نبقى نقرأ

If we go back to this house, chapter nine, we should read.

إنجيل القديس سبحانه الإصحاح الثامن

The Gospel of Saint Subhan, Chapter Eight

والسابع كمان حوارات طويلة جدا بين السيد المسيح

And the seventh is also very long dialogues between Lord Christ.

والفريسيين ويقولهم بأقوال إصحاحات كاملة

"And the Pharisees, and He speaks to them with the complete sayings of chapters."

يحاول يقولهم إن هو النور

He is trying to tell them that he is the light.

ويقولوا مين أنت يقولهم أنا هو

And they say, "Who are you?" I tell them, "I am him."

وبعلامات ومعجزات وأمور كتيرة جدا

With signs, miracles, and many other things.

لكن هما كانوا البصيرة مفيش

But they were the insight; there was none.

ومش على استعداد ياخدوا بصيرة

"And they're not willing to take insight."

فما إدروش زي ما بيقول القديس إحنا يتعرفوا على الحق فالسيد المسيح

"Therefore, as the saint says, we come to know the truth in the Lord Christ."

أعطانا بصيرة لنعرف الحق ونحن في الحق في

He has given us insight to know the truth while we are in the truth.

ابن يسوع المسيح هذا هو الإله الحق والحياة الأبدية

The son of Jesus Christ, this is the true God and eternal life.

يعني في المسيح اللي عاوز بصيرة

It means in Christ, whoever wants insight.

هياخد اللي عاوز يتعرف على المسيح ويتعرف على الحق

"Whoever wants to know Christ and know the truth will take it."

وأقرأ كلمة الإنجيل كلمة الحق كده وأفهم

"I read the word of the Gospel, the word of truth like this, and I understand."

أو ما فهمش تعتمد علي أنا عاوز أبصر ولا مش عاوز أبصر

Or did he not understand, do you rely on me wanting to see or not wanting to see?

ناس شافوه بالألفات

People saw him by the thousands.

وشافوا المعجزات وسموا عنه لكن قليلين

"They saw the miracles and spoke of them, but they were few."

اللي صدقوا واللي أمنوا أن هو إبن الله

Those who believed and those who have faith that He is the Son of God.

السيد المسيح في حواره مع الإنسان ده قال له كلمتين في الآخر خالص

Lord Christ, in His dialogue with man, said to him two words at the very end.

قال له

He said to him.

أتؤمن أنت بإذن الله

Do you believe, with God's permission?

آية واحدة أجاب ذاك وقال من هو

One verse answered that and said, "Who is he?"

السيد يؤمن به فقال له يسوع أنك تراه هو الذي يكلمه

The man believes in him, and Jesus said to him, "You see him; he is the one who speaks to you."

فقال أؤمن يا رب وسجد له

He said, "I believe, O Lord," and he prostrated to Him.

ده كان الحوار المختصر عند الإنسان المولود أعمى

This was the brief dialogue with the man who was born blind.

لأنه المسيح ده له بصيرة

Because this Christ has insight.

قبل كده إصحاحات كاملة وحوارات طويلة جدا

Before, there were complete chapters and very long dialogues.

دي بس اللي تسجلت في الكتب لكن الناس رفضها

This is just what was recorded in the books, but the people rejected it.

والناس مش عاوزة بالرغم أن هما مفتاحين

And people don't want it even though they are the key.

ويشوفوا الأعمال ويشوفوا حاجات ويعرفوا ويدركوا أنه ده أعمال الله اللي يعملها

"They see the deeds and observe things and come to know and realize that these are the works of God."

محدش مفيش إنسان تاني بالرغم أن كان عندهم

No one, there isn't another person even though they had one.

الكتب والمعرفة بالكتب بالرغم أن هما

Books and knowledge are about books, even though they are.

فاكرين كويس قوي كل الأنبياء أشعية ونحمية

Do you remember well all the prophets, Isaiah and Nehemiah?

وذاكرية وتكلموا وشوروا وما ينفعش إن إنسان يكون غير

"And they talked and consulted, and it is not right for a person to be otherwise."

هو المسيح هو ده الشخص اللي بتكلم عليه النبوات

He is the Messiah, he is the person that the prophecies are talking about.

يقول في أشعية روح سيد الرب علي

It says in Isaiah, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me."

لأن الرب مسحني لأبشر المساكين أرسلني

"Because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor; he has sent me."

لأعصب منكسر القلب لأنادي للمسبيين

I will call out for the captives with a heart broken by sorrow.

بالعتق وللمأسورين بالإطلاق أجعلك

"With liberation, I make you free for the captives."

عهدا للشعب ونورا للأمم لتفتح عيون العمي

A promise to the people and a light for nations to open the eyes of the blind.

ولما سأل

And when he asked

يوحنا المعمدان بقى التلاميذ وسألوا السيد المسيح قال لهم

John the Baptist remained with the disciples and asked the Lord Jesus, saying to them...

قولوله إن العمي يبصرون والعرج يمشون

Tell him that the blind can see and the lame can walk.

والبرس يطهرون والصم يسمعون والموت يقومون

"And the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised."

والمساكين يبشرون مين اللي خلى الناس

And the poor ones are glad; who made people?

دي تعمل كده مين اللي منح البصر والشفاء

"Who gave sight and healing to do this?"

فقولوله إن هو ده اللي كان بتشاور عنه النبوات فالناس اللي كانت حافظة

So tell him that this is what the prophecies were referring to, for the people who were keeping it in mind.

النبوات والناس اللي عندها معرفة الكتب

The prophecies and the people who have knowledge of the books.

ومعرفة وسيقة بالكتب وحفظها عن ظهر قلب كان فقطهم

A deep knowledge of books and memorizing them by heart was only theirs.

عنصر البصيرة اللي لما تيجي

The element of insight that comes when it arrives.

لما يجي الحق يعرفوا إن هو ده يربطوا اللي حفظوه

When the truth comes, they know that this is it, and they connect it with what they have memorized.

عن ظهر قلب ويربطوا النبوات يقولوا هو فعلا ده اللي كان

By heart, and they connect the prophecies, saying this is indeed what it was.

بيتكلم عن النبوات لكن كان فقتهم عنصر البصيرة

He talks about prophecies, but at that time there was an element of insight.

شافوا بعينيهم وحفظوا

They saw it with their own eyes and remembered.

ذهنهم وعرفوا كويس قوي كل النبوات دي

Their minds understood well all these prophecies.

لكن كان فقتهم البصيرة عشان يعرفوا

But they lacked insight to understand.

يتعرفوا عن الحق زي ما يقوله قديس محمد في الكاثوليكون

They recognize the truth as Saint Muhammad says in the Catholicon.

النهاردة شافوا

Today they saw.

على عكس كده شافوا السيد المسيح إنه إنسان خاطئ

On the contrary, they saw that Jesus Christ was a sinful man.

طبعا إنسان بيكسر السبت ده كان يستحق الرجل

Of course, a person who breaks the Sabbath deserves that man.

وإنه يموتوه وكذا مرة فعلا حاولوا

"And indeed, they are trying to kill him, and they have actually tried multiple times."

يلتقطوا حجارة ويموتوه لكن في عينهم

"They pick up stones and kill him, but in their eyes."

لأن مفيش بصيرة كانوا شايفينه إن إنسان خاطئ

Because there was no insight, they saw him as a sinful person.

ولا يحفظ السبت ونحن نعلم أن هذا الإنسان

"This person does not keep the Sabbath, and we know that."

خاطئ لما نقرأ كلمة

Wrong when we read the word.

الله ونقرأ إنجيل النهاردة ونسمعه

God, and we read today's Gospel and listen to it.

ما نشاورش على الفرسيين ولا نشاور على اليهود يقول كان قدامهم

"I don’t consult the Persians or the Jews, he said there was someone in front of them."

الحق ومعرفوش أو ما محبوش

The truth, and they either don't know it or don't love it.

ورفضوا إن هما يستنيروا

And they refused to enlighten themselves.

بنور السيد المسيح أقول على نفسي أنا إيه أنا جزء

By the light of Lord Christ, I say about myself, what am I? I am a part.

من البشرية دي كلها أنا بالنسبة لي

From all of humanity, I am, for me.

لما هتعرف على الحق لما

When will you know the truth when?

أستنير كده وأخذ الاستنارة في المعمودية

I enlighten like this and take the enlightenment in baptism.

وأخذ الروح القدس هكمل حياتي عملا إزاي

And how will the Holy Spirit complete my life’s work?

فما بصش بعيد أبص على نفسي وأشوف كده كادت النتيجة

"So don't look far, look at myself and see how the result was."

إيه إنه ناس كتير رافضت وناس قليلين هما اللي

Yes, many people rejected it, and only a few are the ones who...

قبلوا وقبلوا الاستنارة في حياتهم فالسيد المسيح

They accepted and embraced enlightenment in their lives through Lord Christ.

في آخر إنجيل يقول

In the final Gospel, it says

فقال يسوع أتيت وأنا دينون للعالم حتى يبصوا العميان

Jesus said, "I came as a judgment for the world so that the blind may see."

ويعمل مبصرون فهو قبل كده قال أنا

And the sighted ones are working, for he said before, "I am."

ما جئت لأدين العالم فهو هنا مش بيغير كلامه

I didn't come to judge the world, for it is here that it doesn't change its words.

يقول أتيت دينون لكن ما جئي أصبح

He says I came to judgment but what came has not become.

محدش بعد كده يقول عنده حج وجودي في العالم

No one should say they have existential حج in the world anymore.

ومنحت النور للعالم ومنحت بصيرة

"And you granted light to the world and bestowed insight."

لكل إنسان عاوز بصيرة محدش عنده حج فتلقائي

Every person who wants insight has no excuses, so it comes naturally.

كده من تلقاء وجودي السيد المسيح في العالم ومروره في العالم

This is due to the presence of Lord Jesus Christ in the world and His passing through the world.

وتجسده أصبح دينون يعني محدش بعد كده

And his embodiment has become a judgment, meaning no one after that.

عنده حج مش هو هيدين ولا جاء يدين جاء ليخلص

He has a pilgrimage, but he is not the one to judge, nor has he come to judge; he has come to fulfill.

ليس ليدين العالم لكن وجوده أصبح

The world does not have hands, but its existence has become.

يعني

It means.

إدانة أو

Condemnation or

محدش يتحج محدش يقدر يقول أنا ما عنديش فالحجة

"No one should make excuses; no one can say I don't have a valid reason."

دي شالها السيد المسيح لأنه ادى إنارة للعالم

He is the one whom Christ took because he brought light to the world.

فأصبح وجوده هو طبيعة وجوده في العالم

His existence has become the nature of his existence in the world.

دينونا وتذكرة للعالم وتبكيت للعالم وتبكيت

A debt and a reminder for the world and a reprimand for the world and a reprimand.

لدمائرنا ونفسنا إن المسيح عاوز يمنحنا

"For our conscience and our souls, Christ wants to grant us."

البصيرة عشان نقدر ندرك الحق هنقرا الإنجيل

Insight so that we can perceive the truth, we will read the Gospel.

وهنتناول من الأسرار المقدسة لكن لو مفيش بصيرة

We will discuss the sacred secrets, but if there is no insight.

لو مش عاوزين لو رفضينا الاستنارة هنقعد نقرا

If you don't want to, if you refuse enlightenment, we will sit and read.

ومش هيبقى فيه

And there won't be أي.

الاستنارة داخل الحاجة ربنا يدينا نعمة كده إنو

Enlightenment within need, may God grant us such grace that...

الحد ده ندرك إن ده حد الاستنارة

This is the limit we realize is the limit of enlightenment.

والمسيح عاوز بيقول جئتوا نور للعالم

And Christ wants to say, "I have come as a light to the world."

وإحنا جزء معا كل فرد فينا المسيح يجي عشان يمنحه بصيرة

And we are part of each individual in us, so that Christ may come to grant him insight.

ويمنحنا خلاص وندرك كده كلمة الإنجيل وكلمة

"And it gives us salvation, and we realize the word of the Gospel and the word."

الخلاص اللي جاية ديها النساء المسيح ولربنا المجد دائما

The salvation that is coming is for the women of Christ, and to our Lord be glory forever.
