قصة الجمل الشاكى

كان يا مكان وما يحلى الكلام إلا بذكر النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام

Once upon a time, and the conversation is not sweet except by mentioning the Prophet, peace be upon him.

النهاردة يا حبيبي هنحكي قصة الجمل الشاكي

Today, my dear, we will tell the story of the complaining camel.

ما هذا؟ إنه جمل قد أفلت من صاحبي

What is this? It's a camel that has escaped from its owner.

هيا نحاول أن نمسكه لنعيده إليه

Let's try to catch it to return it to him.

إنه يتبع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

He follows the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.

إنه يدخل خلفها الحديقة

He enters the garden behind her.

هيا أسرع لنلحق به قبل أن يؤذي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

Let's hurry to catch him before he harms the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.

انتظر إنه يقف أمام رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

Wait, he is standing in front of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.

انظر كأنه يريد شيئا من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

"Look, as if he wants something from the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him."

سبحان الله إن الجمل تقطأ رأسه وأخذ يبكي

Glory be to God, the camel cut off its head and started crying.

هل رأيت دموعه؟

Did you see his tears?

نعم ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يمسح بيده على عنقه

Yes, and the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, was wiping his hand over his neck.

إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ينصت إليه كأن الجمل يحدثه

Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, listens to him as if the camel is speaking to him.

من صاحب هذا الجمل؟

Who is the owner of this camel?

إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يريده

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, wants it.

أنا صاحب الجمل

I am the owner of the camel.

أين رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

Where is the Messenger of Allah, may peace be upon him?

إنه في الحديقة

He is in the garden.

ماذا قال لك رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

What did the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, tell you?

قال إن الجمل شكله كلة الأكل وكثرة العمل

He said that the camel's shape is all about eating and hard work.

ثم أوصاني به خيرا

Then he advised me to treat him well.

فماذا أنت فاعل

So what will you do?

سأنفذ وصية رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

I will execute the will of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.

عن عبد الله بن جعفر قال

On the authority of Abdullah bin Ja'far, he said:

أردفني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, rode behind me.

خلف هذا يوم فأصر إلي حديثا

Behind this day, I insisted on a conversation.

لا أحدث به أحدا من الناس

I don't talk about it to anyone.

وكان أحب مستطر به رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الحاجة

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, loved to conceal his needs.

هدفا أو حائش نخ

Two goals or a date palm grove.

قال فدخل حائطا لرجل من الأنصار في إذا جمل

He said, and he entered the garden of a man from the Ansar where there was a camel.

فلما رأى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حنى وظرفت عيناه

When the Prophet (peace be upon him) saw this, he bowed his head and his eyes became moist.

فأتاه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

So the Prophet, peace be upon him, came to him.

فمسح ظفراه فسكت

He wiped his fingers and remained silent.

فقال من رب هذا الجمل

He said, "Who is the owner of this camel?"

لمن هذا الجمل

Whose camel is this?

فجاء فتن من الأنصار فقال لي يا رسول الله

A young man from the Ansar came and said to me, "O Messenger of Allah."

فقال

He said.

أفلا تتق الله في هذه البهيمة التي ملكك الله إياها

"Do you not fear God regarding this animal that God has entrusted to you?"

فإنه شك إلي أنك تجيعه وتدعبه

He expressed doubt that you are starving him and teasing him.

أي تتعبه وتحمله أحمالا كثيرة

It tires him and burdens him with many loads.
