كانت صوت رغباتنا وصوت عقلنا

It was the voice of our desires and the voice of our mind.

قلت له لا مش فاهمك يعني ايه

I told him I don't understand what you mean.

قال لي بص شفت الصوت اللي بتسمعه في رأسك بيقولك

He said to me, "Look, the sound you're hearing in your head is telling you."

سيبه النهاردة عشان انت لو كملت معاه هتتقلم

Leave him today because if you continue with him, you will get hurt.

او غيب عنه فجأة عشان يعرف قيمة حضورك

He suddenly disappeared so that he would know the value of your presence.

او اقتل الحلم ده مدام احنا لسه في الاول

Either kill this dream since we are still at the beginning.

ووفر على نفسك بقى ايه الخيبة اللي هتجي في الاخر

Save yourself the trouble of what disappointment will come in the end.

او تنازل واستقرر في مكانك

Either give up and stay in your place.

لان فاتورة وعيك ومحاولتك هتكون غالية

Because the bill for your awareness and efforts will be expensive.

ده مش صوت رغبتك الفعلية

This is not the sound of your actual desire.

ولا صوت الروح اللي جواك

And the voice of the soul inside you.

ده صوت عقلك وهو بيحاول يحفظك ويمنعك من الخطر

This is the voice of your mind trying to protect you and keep you from danger.

وده قال جملة عظيمة قوي يعني

He said a very great statement.

يعني لمستني بجد

It means you really touched me.

قال انت مدين لنفسك بكل المحاولات اللي بتتقدم لك في الحياة

He said you owe it to yourself to take every opportunity that comes your way in life.

وما بتاخدهاش

"And you don't take it."

انت مدين لنفسك بانك تستخدم ايمانك بالله

You owe it to yourself to use your faith in God.

انت في 17 مرة

You are in 17 times.

بتتخدم

You are being used.

بتقولها في اليوم

You say it during the day.

واياك نعبد واياك نستعين

You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.

فانت لما بدأت شغلا تستعين بيه

So when you started a job, you relied on me.

وتخد روبك في الحياة

And you take your robe in life.

وتسعى للي انت عايزه

"And strive for what you want."

وتصبر على الصعب

And be patient with the difficult.

عشان تدوق حلاوة السهل

So that you can taste the sweetness of ease.

مش هتعمل لك قصة في الاخر

It won't create a story for you in the end.

تقف وانت فخور بيها

You stand proud of her.

وختم كلامه ب

And he concluded his speech with

في ناس نشأت

There are people who were raised.

بتسيب حياتها من الاساس

You are leaving her life from the beginning.

وبتهجرها

And you abandon her.

بترجع تسأل بعد كل ده

Are you asking again after all this?

وانا ليه عوض ربنا مجاليش
