Today we continue our exploration of the old streets of Wuhan.

来听一下这个武昌七街的故事

七街位于武昌七门外

Qijie is located outside the Qimen Gate in Wuchang.

长途不足十百米

The long-distance is less than a hundred meters.

南起这个赛宝行

Start from this Sai Bao Hang in the south.

穿过这个闽人街

Walk through this Minren street.

北边呢只与七门

The north only has seven gates.

七街位于武昌七门外

Qijie is located outside the Seven Gates of Wuchang.

七街啊原本不叫七街

Seven Street originally was not called Seven Street.

因为挨近这个武昌城的中火门

Because it is close to the Zhonghuo Gate of Wuchang City.

被叫做中火门外整街

It's called the whole street outside the middle fire gate.

之所以移民这个七街呢

The reason for immigrating to this seventh street is...

源于改变中国命运的一桩重大的历史事件

A major historical event that altered the fate of China.

这个新海革命第一枪大象之后啊

After the first shot of the new sea revolution, the elephant appeared.

暂时进展的非常的快

The progress is currently moving very fast.

不久啊这个七夷军就占领了军火腾起的窑底

Before long, the Qiyi army took control of the bottom of the kiln where the munitions were soaring.

冷拉马拽啊

It's a cold pull, horse tugging.

把这个国师的火炮之中

Within the artillery of this national master.

拖进了那个城里面来

Dragged into that city.

在中火门城楼和这个蛇山

At the Mid-fire Gate City Tower and this Snake Mountain.

把这个炮夹起来了

This cannon has been clamped.

像这个中斗旭一代

Like this generation of Zhongdou Xu.

鼓手顽抗的清军一阵猛轰

The drummer stubbornly resisted, and the Qing army launched a fierce bombardment.

就是这一阵子猛轰

It's been a surge of attacks during this period.

轰下了满清政府的龙气

The dragon energy of the Qing government has been completely brought down.

轰垮了中国最后一个封建的朝代

Brought down the last feudal dynasty of China.

允许了一个革命军力政府

Allowed a revolutionary military government.

在辛亥革命

乌昌城光复的战争当中

起到了如此重要的作用

改名为七夷门

现在属于乌昌去滋养该办事区官下

Now belongs to Wuchang to nurture the officials of the district.
