升天愿出家

Ascend to heaven, willing to become a monk.

很多宗教都以鼓励人上天堂为目的

Many religions aim to encourage people to go to heaven.

为什么佛教说升天不究竟?

Why does Buddhism say that ascending to heaven is not ultimate?

升天堂是好事

Going to heaven is a good thing.

但是升到了天上

But it rose to the sky.

再一直修

Keep fixing it.

修到二十八层天

Cultivating to the twenty-eighth layer of heaven.

已经是最高的飞向飞飞向处天

It is already the highest flight heading toward the sky.

到了那里

Arrived there.

虽无身体

Though without a body

但还有意识存在

But there is still consciousness present.

如果在过去有杀生

If there has been killing in the past

或任何恶念种子现前

Or any seeds of evil thoughts arise.

刹那就会堕落

In an instant, one can fall.

因此佛教不提倡升天

Therefore, Buddhism does not advocate ascending to heaven.

只要好好学佛修行

As long as you practice Buddhism diligently.

求解脱最重要

Seeking liberation is the most important.

我现在讲个佛陀时代的故事给你们听

I will tell you a story from the time of the Buddha.

佛陀俗家有个弟弟

The Buddha had a younger brother from a secular family.

名叫南陀

Named Nantuo

人长得很庄严

The person looks very dignified.

佛陀知道他的佛缘很深

The Buddha knew that his connection to Buddhism was very deep.

出家姻缘成熟了

The circumstances for monastic marriage have matured.

有一天就亲自回到俗家

One day, he returned to his secular family in person.

想度南陀

Want to go to Nantuo.

为南陀讲了许多的道理

Explained many principles to Nantuo.

南陀说

Nan Tuo said.

我很羡慕佛陀的崇高伟大

I greatly admire the noble greatness of the Buddha.

心中很想跟佛陀出家

I really wish to become a monk with the Buddha in my heart.

但我却不敢

But I dare not.

我对王位

My feelings towards the throne.

江山

Rivers and mountains

财宝

Treasure

都可以舍弃

All can be abandoned.

但是我的妻子实在太美丽了

But my wife is really too beautiful.

要我舍弃实在非常困难

It is very difficult for me to give it up.

佛陀当时一边走一边想

The Buddha was walking and thinking at the same time.

在南陀不知不觉的情形下

In the unwitting situation in Nantuo.

佛陀已以神通之力

The Buddha has already used his supernatural powers.

带他到了天上

Took him to the sky.

看到天女们在花园里玩乐

Seeing the celestial maidens playing in the garden.

佛陀就问

The Buddha asked.

你们没有婚配吗

Aren't you getting married?

为什么还在这里玩乐呢

Why are you still here having fun?

其中一位美丽的天女回答说

One of the beautiful heavenly maidens replied.

姻缘还没有到啊

The fated relationship has not arrived yet.

我父亲天王说

My father, the king, said.

人间有个南陀

There is a Nan Tuo in the human world.

是佛陀的弟弟

He is the Buddha's brother.

再过不久

Soon after.

他在人间的福报响尽

His blessings in the mortal world have come to an end.

升天之后

After ascending to heaven

我就要跟他结婚了

I am going to marry him.

这时南陀听到天女这样说

At this moment, Nantuo heard the Heavenly Maiden say this.

并看到天女那么漂亮

And saw that the celestial maiden was so beautiful.

比他更美丽

More beautiful than him.

提起自己的妻子

Talking about my wife.

要美丽过百倍

To be a hundred times more beautiful.

心中贪恋天女

In my heart, I am infatuated with the celestial maiden.

就拉着佛陀的衣服

Just pulled the Buddha's robe.

说不要走了

Say not to leave.

心想请佛陀做媒

I hope to ask the Buddha to be the matchmaker.

这时佛陀说

At this time, the Buddha said.

诶

Hey

刚才你不是跟我说

Didn't you just tell me?

你很爱恋你的妻子

You love your wife very much.

你不能出家的原因

The reason you cannot become a monk.

是舍不得离开她

It is hard to part with her.

怎么现在看到这个天女

Why do I see this goddess now?

就想把妻子舍掉了

Just want to give up on my wife.

南陀听了无话可说

Nantuo was left speechless.

又跟着佛陀一直往前走

Following the Buddha, continue to move forward.

走到一个地方

Go to a place.

只觉得阴风惨惨

Just feel the gloomy wind chilling.

黑气腾腾

Black gas billows.

原来佛陀又以神通

It turns out the Buddha again used his divine powers.

带她到了地狱

Took her to hell.

看到很多鬼族在那里忙碌

I see many ghost people busy over there.

有的鬼族在热滚滚的油锅旁

Some ghost tribes are by the scorching hot frying oil.

拿着铁叉

Holding an iron fork.

把饭鬼在锅里翻来滚去的炸

Fry the rice ghost by flipping it around in the pot.

就像炸鸡一样

Just like fried chicken.

就像炸油条一样

Just like frying dough sticks.

再走又看到一个老鬼

Walking again, I saw another old ghost.

也在油锅旁

Also by the oil pot.

但没有起火燃油

But there was no ignited fuel.

老鬼坐在旁边大瞌睡

The old ghost was dozing off beside.

佛陀就问他

The Buddha then asked him.

诶

Hey.

别的鬼都在忙

Other ghosts are busy.

你为什么在这里大瞌睡啊

Why are you dozing off here?

他说

He said.

阎罗王说

King Yama said.

有一个大罪人

There is a great sinner.

他是佛陀的弟弟南陀

He is Nanda, the brother of the Buddha.

听说他现在

I heard that he is now.

在人间很多人

There are many people in the world.

很好

Very good.

等他死后升天

Wait for him to ascend to heaven after he dies.

天福享尽

Heavenly blessings are fully enjoyed.

堕到地狱来的时候

When falling into hell.

我就很忙了

I'm very busy.

南陀一听

Nantuo listened.

哗

Wow

就是他自己

It's just him himself.

有一天也会掉到油锅里煎炸

One day, it will also fall into the frying pan.

他就害怕的手脚发抖

He was so scared that his hands and feet trembled.

走也走不动了

Can't walk anymore.

抱着佛陀的脚说

Holding the Buddha's feet, I said.

佛陀

Buddha

你要救我

You need to save me.

我要出家

I want to become a monk.

现在我就跟你出家修行

Now I will go with you to become a monk and practice.

解脱六道轮回

Liberation from the cycle of reincarnation.

人间的妻子也不要了

No longer want a wife from the mortal realm.

天上也不去了

Not going to the sky either.

由这个故事证明

This story proves.

天上虽然很好

Although it is nice in the sky.

天福享尽了

Heavenly blessings have been fully enjoyed.

也会堕落到地狱的

It will also fall into hell.

所以佛教徒不想升天

So Buddhists do not want to ascend to heaven.

要学佛修行求解脱

One must learn Buddhism, practice diligently, and seek liberation.

因为解脱六道轮回才是究竟

Because liberation from the cycle of reincarnation is the ultimate goal.

到处一圈

A circle everywhere.

成立一道轮回

Establish a cycle of reincarnation.

梁明明和其他人的党

用了一切守护

Used all to protect.

设计成为最重要的

Design becomes the most important.

一个圣主

A holy master

一切保护

All protection

为民主

For democracy

为利益

For profit

为华民

For the Huamin (Chinese people).

为国民

For the people.

为负责

Responsible

为富富

For the rich to become richer.

为公民

For the citizens

为人

Personality

为公民

To be a person.
