The effect of breaking through and revealing oneself.

没办法

No way.

但是你把佛法听进去

But you have absorbed the teachings of Buddhism.

诸位

Ladies and gentlemen.

你来这个地方学习佛法

You come to this place to learn Buddhism.

即便你今生非常懈怠

Even if you are very lazy in this life.

你都没有如实的去做

You haven't done it truthfully.

但是你也光波堂娟

But you are also Guangbo Tang Juan.

因为你把佛法的道

Because you embody the teachings of Buddhism.

那个种子种进去了

The seed has been planted.

佛法的光波堂娟

The light waves of the Buddha's teachings are graceful.

佛法的功德

The merits of Buddhist teachings.

他会产生一种称

He will develop a kind of称.

他会运载你

He will transport you.

你总有一天

You will have your day.

你的善根发动的时候

When your good roots are activated.

他会产生一个强大力量

He will generate a powerful force.

他会让你不得不学佛

He will make you have to learn Buddhism.

不得不学佛

Must learn Buddhism.

你不学佛都没办法

You won't be able to do anything without learning Buddhism.

如果你的善根成熟以后

If your good roots have matured.

是没有烦恼能够抗拒的

There are no troubles that cannot be resisted.

所以这个教法

So this teaching method

因为他为什么有这么力量

Because why does he have so much power?

因为他是从佛陀的涅槃心中流露出来的

Because he is emanating from the Buddha's heart of Nirvana.

是佛陀施圣出来的

It is the sacred manifestation of the Buddha.

他有引导你去向涅槃的力量

He has the power to guide you towards nirvana.

这个叫清净法界等流正法

This is called the Pure and Tranquil Dharma Realm of Equal Flow.

那么我们通过这个法门的修学

Then we cultivate through this method.

我们就能够达到前面的觉悟

We can achieve the enlightenment ahead.

所以佛是一个目标

So the Buddha is a goal.

法是趋向目标的一个过程

The law is a process of aiming towards a goal.

我们再看第三个修

Let's take a look at the third repair.

这个修我们晚一点讲

We'll talk about this repair a little later.

先看学

First, look at studying.

士学 言真穷妄 达理生性 明知为学

Scholarship speaks of true poverty, while reason is born from nature; it is clear that one studies to know.

好 再把这个修也念一遍

士修 磨炼身心 对治习气 明知为修

Cultivating and tempering the body and mind, addressing habits, and knowing that it is for cultivation.

那么佛法的修学

Then the practice of Buddhist teachings.

它有礼观跟士修

It has a sense of etiquette and gentlemanly conduct.

礼观就是学

Ritual aesthetics is learning.

言真穷妄 达理生性

Truth is often poor and unrealistic, while reason is born from nature.

学主要的是学习两个事情

The main things to learn are two things.

第一个

心什么是妄

What is a delusion of the heart?

如何破妄险真

How to break through illusions and dangers to find the truth.

这个叫做学

This is called learning.

那么这个学

当然是一种智慧的观照

It is certainly a kind of wise observation.

通过智慧观照

Through wise observation.

我们能够安住空性

We can abide in emptiness.

调伏爱取

Subduing attachment to love.

最后导归菩提

Ultimately leading to Bodhi.

安住力 调伏力 引导力

Stability power, taming power, guiding power.

这个是我们整个学习的重点

This is the focus of our entire study.

那么你的心地法门成熟以后

So, after your heart's method matures.

我们就有资格

We are qualified.

从空出甲

Leave A vacant.

来修

Come to fix.

修六波罗蜜

Cultivating the Six Perfections

那么修六波罗蜜

Then practice the six paramitas.

一方面忏悔业障

On one hand, repent for karmic obstacles.

一方面积极质量

On the one hand, proactive quality.

在历世恋心当中

In the hearts of romantic relationships throughout the ages.

一方面消除我们无始的罪障

On one hand, to eliminate our beginningless sins.

一方面积极广大的福德质量

On one hand, it actively promotes a vast quality of merit and virtue.

这个叫做修

This is called cultivation.

所以它这个次第

So it's in this order.

是先有礼观

It is the concept of etiquette that comes first.

再有士修

There will be another scholar.

先学习

First learn.

那么做好内心的调伏

Then cultivate inner calm.

引导

Guidance

然后才有所谓的付诸行动

Only then can we talk about taking action.

我们做最后的概要

We are making the final summary.

做一个总结

Make a summary.

先把它念一遍

First, read it out loud.

四概要

Four summaries

概 总 瓜 大 纲 要 三 繁 取 要

General outline requires three main points.

那么当然佛法很多

There are indeed many teachings in Buddhism.

我们说过佛法是甚深广大

We have said that Buddhism is profound and vast.

那么我们希望对一个初学者

So we hope for a beginner.

我们提起他的大纲

We bring up his outline.

那么找出他的尾要

Then find his tail.

那么我们把整个佛法分成四个主题

Then we divide the entire Buddhist teachings into four themes.

发心 正见 修行 证果

Aspiration, right understanding, practice, attainment.

那么发心 正见

Then generate intention and right understanding.

这两颗是基本功

These two are fundamental skills.

它里面都没有牵涉到任何的行动

It does not involve any actions at all.

就是还没有行动

Just hasn't taken action yet.

佛法说

Buddhist teachings say.

就打开你的眼睛

Just open your eyes.

先有目标

First have a goal.

发心就是设定目标

Setting a goal is the beginning of intention.

第二个正见

The second right view.

就是做好智慧的观察

It is to make good wise observations.

你遇到事情

You encounter something.

第一件事情

The first thing.

不要反应太快

Don't react too quickly.

记得

Remember

在反应之前

Before responding.

先想想佛法的道理

First, think about the principles of Buddhism.

学佛你要进步

To learn Buddhism, you need to make progress.

真的

Really.

你反应要慢一点

You need to respond more slowly.

因为你的直觉都是习气

Because your instincts are all habits.

你的直觉都是错的

Your instincts are all wrong.

大部分都错的

Most of it is wrong.

而且大部分都会让你后悔

And most of them will make you regret.

我们就是没有智慧才会流转生死

It is our lack of wisdom that causes us to be trapped in the cycle of life and death.

所以

So

在佛法的角度里面

From the perspective of Buddhist teachings

在菩萨界

In the realm of Bodhisattvas.

第一念的差错

The mistake of the first thought.

他不怪你

He doesn't blame you.

菩萨界第一个直觉上的烦恼

The first instinctual vexation of the Bodhisattva realm.

不怪你

It's not your fault.

你第一个念头起烦恼

Your first thought brings trouble.

不怪你

No blame on you.

但是你第二念

But your second thought.

你的光明没有关照

Your light has not illuminated.

这个就是你的问题

This is your problem.

懈怠

Negligence

因为直觉性的犯错

Because of instinctive mistakes.

不能怪你

Can't blame you.

这个你没办法控制

You can't control this.

但是第二念以后

But after the second thought

你没有对峙

You did not confront.

表示你没有做好心地法门

It indicates that you have not properly practiced the method of the heart.

所以佛法是从第二念开始对峙的

Therefore, the teachings of Buddhism begin to confront from the second thought.

我们不

We do not.

我们没办法做到第一念

We can't achieve the first thought.

第一念

First Thought

第一念一定是你的习气了

The first thought must be your habit.

所以这个发心跟正见

So this aspiration is related to correct views.

这两颗是一个理官

These two are one official.

把你的基础打好

Build a solid foundation.

然后修行

Then practice.

就是付出行动了

It means taking action.

就是你这个基础打好以后

After you have built a solid foundation like this.

那就是个人选择了

That is a personal choice.

你喜欢修什么法门

What kind of practice do you enjoy?

这个基础打好了

This foundation has been laid well.

你把他喜欢盖一个毛棚

You like him to build a shed.

或者盖一个豪宅都可以了

Or we could just build a mansion.

就看你的人生规划了

It all depends on your life plan.

看你的时间长短了

It seems like you've spent a long time looking.

所以这个修是有选择性的

So this cultivation is selective.

但是发心跟正见是共同科目

However, aspiration and right view are common subjects.

你好好学习

Hello, study well.

这两颗你要学会了

You need to learn these two.

你从今以后

From now on, you

你就知道怎么样面对人生了

You already know how to face life.

你的态度不一样了

Your attitude has changed.

而这两颗也是成败的关键

And these two are also the key to success or failure.

发心篇跟正见篇

The Chapter on Aspirations and the Chapter on Right View.

诸位我们要知道一个事情

Everyone, we need to know one thing.

就是说

That is to say

其实我们无量劫来

Actually, we have been through countless kalpas.

我们经历过很多的生命

We have experienced many lives.

其实我们也做了很多事情

In fact, we have also done a lot of things.

我们看看我们的过去

Let's take a look at our past.

我们做过很多的

We have done a lot.

不思识界忍辱的善业

Not thinking of recognizing the world, tolerating humiliation as a good deed.

但是为什么我们现在

But why are we now

还是这样的一种

It's still this kind.

轮回的一种生死

A kind of life and death in reincarnation.

生死情况

Life and death situation

因为我们没有做好理官的智慧

Because we have not done a good job of wisdom in governance.

所以我们所有的善业

So all our good deeds

都没办法超越生死

No one can transcend life and death.

不能达到波罗蜜

Cannot reach the paramita.

我们的心理素质太差了

Our psychological quality is too poor.

所以你不要小看前面两颗的心理建设

So don't underestimate the mental preparation for the first two.

那个发心跟正见的

That intention with correct understanding.

这两颗是所有的基本功

These two are the fundamentals of all skills.

这两个基本功你建立起来

Establish these two fundamental skills.

你修六波罗蜜

You cultivate the Six Paramitas.

修六度法门

Cultivating the Six Perfections.

每一个法门变成波罗蜜

Every Dharma method transforms into paramita.

你建立这个基础

You establish this foundation.

你提起佛号叫做临终正念

You mention the Buddha's name, which is called mindful chanting at the moment of death.

前面两颗是重点了

The first two are the key points.

发心跟正见

Aspiration and right view.

观照力跟试验力

Observation power and experimental power.

这个理官太重要了

This official reasoning is too important.

好

Good.

那么我们等于是三凡其要

Then we are equivalent to Sanfan Qiyao.

把整个佛教的理官跟世修

Integrating the entire Buddhist philosophy with worldly practice.

三凡其要的跟诸位做一个简介

Let me give you a brief introduction to the three essentials.

那么到这里等于是解释标题

So this is equivalent to explaining the title.

我们看第二个教主烈死

We see the second master perish.

我们看释迦牟尼佛一生的历史

We look at the history of Shakyamuni Buddha's life.

这个地方有三大段

This place has three main sections.

三大段

Three major sections

我们先看第一段的总标

Let's first look at the overall title of the first paragraph.

先看总标

First, look at the overall label.

请合掌

Please put your hands together.

无量寿金云

Infinite Life Golden Cloud

于无量世界现成等觉

Manifesting perfect enlightenment in limitless world.

我们先把这个文消失一下

Let's make this document disappear for now.

那么佛陀来到人世间是怎么来的呢

So how did the Buddha come into the human world?

佛陀是一指清净的法身

The Buddha is the pure Dharma body represented by a single finger.

那么同时在无量的世界

Then at the same time in the infinite worlds.

视现成佛

See the attainment of Buddhahood.

那么这个地方

So this place.

最重要的观念在这个现

The most important concept in this phenomenon.

Visual Presentation

佛陀度化众生有两个方法

The Buddha has two methods for guiding sentient beings.

第一个佛陀成就一个净土

The first Buddha attained a pure land.

然后把众生接到净土去

Then take all living beings to the Pure Land.

这种比方说阿弥陀佛采取的方式就是这样

This is the way, for example, that Amitabha Buddha takes.

他先创造一个净土

He first creates a pure land.

然后把众生

Then the sentient beings

他提出一些条件

He提出一些条件.

怎么样能够往生

How can one attain rebirth?

他把条件提出来

He proposed the conditions.

然后把众生接到净土去

Then bring all sentient beings to the Pure Land.

然后他慢慢的教化

Then he slowly educated.

这是在净土成佛的第一种

This is the first type of attaining Buddhahood in the Pure Land.

第二种是在会土成佛

The second type is to become a Buddha by understanding the land.

这个就很困难了

This is quite difficult.

比方说释迦牟尼佛

For example, Shakyamuni Buddha.

他采取的手段是这样子

The means he employed are as follows.

释迦牟尼佛是来到人世间陪我们流转

Shakyamuni Buddha came to the world to accompany us in our samsara.

陪我们也是有生老病死的过程

Accompanying us also goes through the process of birth, aging, illness, and death.

也有祈祈的过程

There is also a process of praying.

我们待会看到佛陀也是祈祈的

We will see that the Buddha also prays later.

那么视现所谓的八相成道

Then it is the so-called Eight Aspects of the Path to Enlightenment.

然后从在我们成长过程当中

Then, during our growth process.

佛陀宣扬他的道理

The Buddha preached his teachings.

让我们觉悟

Let us awaken.

所以佛陀的度化众生

So the Buddha's teaching saves sentient beings.

有两个方式

There are two ways.

一个是佛陀主动来到娑婆世界

One is that the Buddha actively comes to the Saha world.

来到会土

Come to the meeting place.

第二个

The second one.

佛陀把我们接到净土去

The Buddha takes us to the pure land.

那么释迦牟尼佛采取的方法

So the method adopted by Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha, is...

是在无量个会土当中

It is among countless worlds.

实现成佛

Achieve buddhahood.

这是我们要注意的其中情况

This is one of the situations we need to pay attention to.

他不是成业而来

He did not come to achieve success.

他是成愿而来

He has come to fulfill his vows.

众生上根成熟了

All beings have matured in their roots.

佛陀从法身当中变化一个印化身

The Buddha transforms an emanation body from the Dharmakaya.

来陪我们成长

Come and grow with us.

那么在成长过程当中

So during the process of growing up

佛陀把他的道理讲出来

The Buddha expressed his teachings.

然后记录下来流通后世

Then record it for future generations.

是这个方式

It is this way.

好

那么这次总编我们看别名

There are eight sections in the alias.

先看第一个入胎相

First, let's look at the first prenatal image.

佛陀的出世

The Birth of the Buddha

当然就有一个父亲跟母亲

Of course, there is a father and a mother.

因为他既然要示现

Because he wants to show himself.

那么为什么佛陀要有个父母

Then why did the Buddha need parents?

其实理论上

In theory,

佛陀来人世间

The Buddha comes to the human world.

他不需要父母

He doesn't need his parents.

理论上

In theory.

因为他没有业力

Because he has no karma.

没有业力

No karma.

那就没有所谓的胎的问题

Then there is no so-called issue with the fetus.

有人就问祖师说

Someone asked the patriarch.

那为什么佛陀要出生

Then why did the Buddha need to be born?

要纳妻

To take a wife.

这个是这样子

This is how it is.

如果佛陀没有经过母胎的出生

If the Buddha was not born from a mother's womb.

这有一个严重问题

There is a serious problem here.

佛陀不是正常人

The Buddha is not an ordinary person.

假设佛陀能够石头跑出来的话

Assuming the Buddha could come out of a stone.

那么我们会觉得说

Then we would feel that...

他跟我们不一样

He is not like us.

那么这个时候我们会质疑

At this point, we will question.

他说的法我们做得到吗

Can we do what he said?

他如果没有感同身受的

If he doesn't have empathy.

陪着我们示现

Accompany us to manifest.

从母胎里面出来

Come out from the womb.

就会连带着我们对他的法

It will also bring along our laws regarding him.

产生质疑

Raise doubts.

这个法是不是太高深了

Is this law too profound?

我们做不到

We can't do it.

所以佛陀他必须遵守

Therefore, the Buddha must comply.

凡夫流转的规则

The rules of the ordinary person's reincarnation.

还是有一个父亲母亲

Still have a father and mother.

因为他让我们知道

Because he made us aware.

他跟我们是完全一样的

He is exactly the same as us.

他当初是一个凡夫的时候

When he was an ordinary person at that time.

他也是从这个过程而来

He also came from this process.

是颠颠倒倒

It is upside down.

后来学习佛法

Later studied Buddhist teachings.

出现了光明

Light has appeared.

然后才做一些生命的改变的

Only then did I make some changes in life.

所以佛陀必须有一个父亲母亲

Therefore, the Buddha must have a father and a mother.

那么就告诉我们

Then tell us.

他跟我们的过程是一样的

His process is the same as ours.

他也曾经流转过

He has also gone through changes.

那么父亲是进犯王

So the father is the invading king.

母亲是摩耶夫人

Mother is Lady Maya.

我们看经典上说

We see what the classics say.

处多率天 弘宣正法

Spread the righteous teachings widely in various places.

凡夫

Ordinary person

他有入胎

He has entered the womb.

但是凡夫在胎中这十个月

But an ordinary person spends these ten months in the womb.

什么事都做不了

Can't do anything.

但是佛陀在摩耶夫人的母胎当中

But the Buddha was in the womb of Queen Maya.

表面上是住在母胎

On the surface, it is like living in the womb.

但是他同时

But at the same time, he...

他是在兜率天

He is in the Tusita Heaven.

为众生说法

Speaking dharma for all beings.

但那个时候还没有出胎之前

But at that time, before being born.

他也不是只是在母胎待着

He wasn't just waiting in the womb either.

他同时在兜率天

He is also in the Trayastrimsa Heaven.

为诸多的天人菩萨

For the many celestial beings and bodhisattvas.

来宣说佛法

Come to preach the Buddhist teachings.

那么等到他入胎的因缘成熟以后

Then, when the conditions for his conception are ripe.

舍弃的兜率天宫才降神母胎

The abandoned Doushuai Heavenly Palace has descended to the divine mother’s womb.

从母胎里面才真正的出来

Truly came out from the womb.

为什么处胎都在兜率天

Why are all the beings in the womb in the Tusita Heaven?

我们解释一下

Let us explain.

因为异界天太过方隐

Because the otherworldly sky is too square and hidden.

夏天异界天

Summer in another world.

四天亡天

Four days of destruction.

一四天亡天

Four days lost in the sky.

兜率天

Tusita Heaven

叶摩天

Ye Motian

套利天

Arbitrage Day

都太过方隐

All are too secretive.

那么三二天

So in three or two days.

色界无色界

Color Realm and Formless Realm

太过骄慢

Too arrogant.

因为他禅定高僧

Because he is a high monk in meditation.

所以很难教化

So it's very difficult to educate.

那么在三界的诸天当中

Among the heavens of the three realms,

只有兜率天稍微好一点

Only the Tushita Heaven is slightly better.

他没有夏天的欲望的方隐

He has no desire for summer's concealment.

他也没有上天的

He also does not have the sky.

虽然清净

Although tranquil.

但是高慢性太重

But arrogance is too heavy.

所以兜率天相对是比较好的

So, the Taiyi Heaven is relatively better.

所以贤洁谦佛

So virtuous, pure, humble, and enlightened.

我们释迦牟尼佛是贤洁谦佛第四尊佛

We Shakyamuni Buddha are the fourth Buddha of purity and humility.

对不对

Right or wrong?

所有的贤洁谦佛都是在兜率天

All the virtuous and humble beings are in the Tusita Heaven.

等待降神母胎的

Waiting for the descent of the divine mother womb.

因为他的这个兜率天相对来说比较好一点

Because his Douluo heaven is relatively better.

好

Good.

我们看出生相

We observe the appearance.

出生

Birth

我们把它念一遍

Let's read it once.

约西元前六百二十三年

Around 623 B.C.

中印度迦毗罗魏国

The Middle Indian Kingdom of Magadha.

兰毗尼元无忧大树

Lumbini's original worry-free tree.

姓释迦名西达多

Surname Shakya, given name Siddhartha.

金云从幼邪生

Golden clouds arise from youthful evil.

现行七步

Current seven steps

光明显耀普照十方

Clearly shining, illuminating all directions.

无量佛土六种振动

The six vibrations of the Infinite Buddha Land.

举身致称无当于事

Taking the whole body to claim it is inappropriate for the matter.

为无上尊

For the supreme honor.

事犯奉事天人归养

The offender serves the heavenly beings and returns to nurture.

那么释迦牟尼佛的出生

Then the birth of Shakyamuni Buddha.

这个时间呢

This time.

在西元前六百二十三年

In the year 623 BC.

这是根据南传上周部的说法

This is based on the statement of the Southern Tradition's commentary from last week.

那么这个时候是中国的春秋战国时代

So at this time it is the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period in China.

刚好是

Just right/Exactly.

春秋战国时代是在西元前两百年到七百年

The Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period lasted from 700 to 200 BC.

这个五百年的时间

This five-hundred-year period

而这五百年的春秋战国时间呢

And what about the five hundred years of the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods?

在历史学家叫做轴心时代

In history, it is called the Axial Age.

又叫做黄金时代

Also known as the Golden Age.

为什么呢

Why is that?

因为这五百年当中啊

Because during these five hundred years,

世界各地

Around the world

同时出现了他们的精神文明的导师

At the same time, their mentor in spiritual civilization appeared.

比方说中国的孔夫子跟老子

For example, Confucius and Laozi from China.

比方说古希腊的柏拉图跟亚里士多德

For example, Plato and Aristotle from ancient Greece.

比方说古埃及的犹太先知

For example, the Jewish prophets of ancient Egypt.

又比方说印度的我们的本师释迦牟尼佛

For example, our original teacher, Shakyamuni Buddha, from India.

都是在这五百年同时出现

They all appeared at the same time in these five hundred years.

所以这个五百年叫做轴心时代啊

So this five hundred years is called the Axial Age.

这个是人类的文明的一个启动的时代

This is an era of the initiation of human civilization.

那么释迦牟尼佛也正是在这个时代出现

At that time, Shakyamuni Buddha also appeared in this era.

在西元前两百年到七百年

Between 200 BC and 700 AD.

这五百年中间啊

In these five hundred years, you see.

是人类里面最重要的一个时代

It is the most important era in human history.

那么他出生以后呢

So what happened after he was born?

是在什么地方出生呢

Where were you born?

在中印度的加比罗魏国

In Central India, in the country of Kapilavastu.

这是个小国家了

This is a small country.

因为在那个时候印度有十六个国家

Because at that time there were sixteen countries in India.

他们是分裂的十六个国家

They are sixteen divided countries.

那么其中一个小国叫加比罗魏国

One of the small countries is called the Gabilo Wei Kingdom.

那么他出生的是在

So he was born in

他出生的是在南皮尼岩

He was born in Napingni Rock.

就是摩耶夫人在花园散步的时候呢

It was when Lady Maya was taking a walk in the garden.

他走到一个大树叫无忧大树

He walked to a big tree called the Wuyou Tree.

那么他把手啊

Then he put his hand...

放在这个树上呢

Put it on this tree.

这个时候呢

At this moment.

他的右斜啊

His right slant.

就出现一个白色的气体

A white gas appeared.

就出生了啊

Just born, huh?

那么他是姓释迦族

So he belongs to the Shakya clan.

他的名字叫希达多

His name is Xidado.

希达多太子

那么采花的时候

把这个手一举啊

Raise this hand up.

这个幼邪就出现了一个白色的气体

A white gas appeared from this young evil.

就出生了

Was just born.

从幼学生

From elementary school student.

出生以后呢

What happens after birth?

发生什么事呢

What happened?

现行七步

Current Seven Steps

光明显耀

Clearly shining.

普照十方

Illuminating the ten directions.

无量佛土

Immeasurable Buddha Land

六种震动

Six types of vibration

佛陀出世以后啊

After the Buddha was born.

出现

Appear

三个很特殊的情况

Three very special situations.

他

走了七步

Took seven steps.

走了七步呢

Took seven steps.

第一个出现

The first to appear.

强烈的光明

Intense light

听说在周朝的时候啊

I heard that during the Zhou Dynasty...

那些太史啊

Those historians.

他有看到

He saw it.

在印度这个地方

In this place called India

有出现一个很大的光明

A great light has appeared.

在历史上有记载

There are records in history.

啊

Ah

那么这个

So this one

我们合理的推论啊

Our reasonable inference.

应该就是佛陀出现的时候

It should be when the Buddha appeared.

光明显耀

Clearly shining.

普照十方那个光明啊

The light that shines universally in all directions.

佛陀的身体啊

The body of the Buddha.

出现强烈的光明

A strong light appears.

第二个呢

The second one?

无量佛土六种震动

Six Types of Tremors in the Infinite Buddha Land

这个世界啊

This world, ah.

这六种震动

These six types of vibrations.

他的本意是六个方向啊

His original intention is six directions.

东西南北中间

East, West, South, North, and the center.

还有边缘啊

There's still an edge.

那么他表法呢

So how does he express it?

表示六根的震动啊

It represents the vibration of the six senses.

眼耳鼻舌生意

Eyes, ears, nose, tongue give birth to ideas.

即将改变

Soon to change.

才产生震动啊

Only then does it produce vibrations.

那么这段是说明

So this part is an explanation.

释迦牟尼佛出现以后

After the appearance of Shakyamuni Buddha

出现的三种类像

Three types of appearances.

啊

Ah

现行七步

Current Seven Steps

那么光明普照

Then the light shines brightly.

那么六种震动

Then six types of vibrations.

三种类像

Three types of appearances

那么出现三种类像以后呢

So what happens after the emergence of the three types of resemblance?

佛陀就说话了

The Buddha began to speak.

佛陀为自己做一眼

The Buddha made a vow for himself.

我为什么出生呢

Why was I born?

佛陀是有目的的

The Buddha is purposeful.

我当一世为无上尊

I shall be the supreme honor for a lifetime.

四方奉事天人归养

Serving the heavens and nourishing the people from all directions.

他说

He said.

我来到人世间啊

I have come to the world.

我要陪一切众生流转

I want to accompany all beings in their cycle of existence.

那么最重要是

So the most important thing is

我要在这个地方

I want to be in this place.

四现成佛

Four enlightenment manifestations.

来宣扬佛法

Come to spread the Buddha's teachings.

来教化众生

To educate and transform all beings.

那么讲完以后呢

So after speaking, what then?

四体环营跟大凡天房啊

The Four Body Ring and the Ordinary Heavenly House.

就侍奉在佛陀的旁边

Just serve beside the Buddha.

诸天产生归养

The heavens produce and nurture.

好

Good

我们凡夫啊的肉眼啊

The ordinary person's naked eye.

什么也看不到

Can't see anything.

对不对

Right or wrong?

但是天人不一样啊

But celestial beings are different.

诸位啊

Everyone啊

天人是有天眼通的

Heavenly beings have the ability of heavenly eye insight.

在经典上说啊

It is said in the classics.

天眼看到佛陀出世啊

The celestial eye sees the Buddha coming into the world.

他不一定知道他会佛陀

He may not necessarily know that he will become a Buddha.

他是一个佛陀

He is a Buddha.

但是天人会很清楚的知道

But the celestial beings will know very clearly.

这个人是不可思议的

This person is incredible.

他们知道这个人是大功德的

They know this person is a great benefactor.

天人会知道

Heaven and man will know.

这个人是大功德的

This person has great virtue.

但他当然不知道这是佛陀了

But of course he doesn't know that this is the Buddha.

所以他看到这种大功德的人出现了

So he saw the appearance of someone with such great virtues.

诸天啊

Oh heavens!

诸位要知道

You all need to know.

诸天跟我们凡夫最大的差别

The biggest difference between the heavens and us ordinary mortals.

你不是修善就能够升天的

You cannot ascend to heaven just by doing good deeds.

不是这个意思

That's not what I meant.

我们到了六波龙会说

We arrived at the Liubolong meeting.

修善

Cultivation of virtue

可以保住你做人

Can keep you alive.

你要升天要有德恨的

If you want to ascend to heaven, you must have virtue and resentment.

你要有点修持

You need to have some self-discipline.

诸天一个很重要的德恨

An important virtue and resentment among the heavens.

他随其赞叹

He followed his admiration.

诸天不太会嫉妒别人

The heavens do not often envy others.

你比我好

You are better than me.

他就尊重你

He just respects you.

所以你如果只有修善

So if you only cultivate goodness

你没有德恨

You have no virtue to hate.

你升不了天的

You can't ascend to the heavens.

你连异界天都上不去了

You can't even get to the heavens of another world.

所以天人看到佛陀出世啊

So the heavenly beings saw the Buddha's emergence.

他们很自动的

They are very proactive.

就供奉在这个

It is enshrined here.

这个人是个大功德的境界啊

This person is in a realm of great virtues.

所以就供奉在这个

So it is enshrined here.

是他太子这个一个小阴海的旁边啊

It is next to a small Yin Sea of Crown Prince.

在旁边候着

Wait beside.

那么诸天啊

So, heavens.

对内心对他产生很多的皈依啊

There is a lot of devotion in my heart towards him.

当然这个地方就是说啊

Of course, this place is saying,

我们看很多的伟人出世的都有瑞相

We see that many great people have auspicious signs at their birth.

何况是佛陀

Let alone the Buddha.

因为佛陀为什么会光明普照

Because the Buddha shines brightly and universally.

为什么六种震动呢

Why six types of vibrations?

因为佛陀的出世

Because of the Buddha's emergence.

表示了一个很重要的事情

It indicates something very important.

世间的光明即将打开

The light of the world is about to be revealed.

众生的生命即将改变

The lives of all beings are about to change.

我讲实在话

I'm speaking honestly.

如果没有佛陀出世

If the Buddha had not come into the world

我们根本搞不清楚东西南北

We can't figure out north, south, east, and west at all.

你就是一天过一天呗

You just take it day by day.

该干啥干啥呗

Just do whatever you need to do.

如果没有佛陀的出世

If the Buddha had not been born.

没有佛就没有法嘛

Without Buddha, there is no Dharma.

没有法就没有人出家嘛

Without the law, no one would become a monk.

来住持正法就没有生保嘛

To uphold the right path means there is no guarantee of life.

那么这个就是黑暗世界嘛

So this is the dark world then?

每一个人就完全根治自己的感觉嘛

Each person should completely cure their own feelings.

各凭本事嘛

Everyone relies on their own abilities.

看谁福报大嘛

Let's see whose blessings are greater.

就是在娑婆世界里面

It is in the Saha world.

就是这样一天过一天嘛

That's just how each day passes.

所以佛陀的出世

So the Buddha's appearance in the world.

佛陀的出世表示了法宝的启动

The birth of the Buddha signifies the initiation of the Dharma treasure.

所以普照

So universal light.

在十方世界普照十方

Illuminate all directions in the ten directions of the world.

光明普照十方

Light shines brightly in all directions.

表示这个世界上即将出现光明

It indicates that light is about to appear in this world.

第二个

The second one.

众生学习这个智慧呢

All beings learn this wisdom.

生命即将改变

Life is about to change.

六根阉耳鼻舌生意开始要改造了

The six sense organs of hearing, sight, smell, taste, and touch are about to undergo transformation.

我们不再跟着我们感觉走了

We no longer follow our feelings.

我们开始学习

We will start learning.

内观

Introspection

改造自己的思考

Transforming one's own thinking.

所以这个就是他的一个瑞相

So this is one of his auspicious signs.

有这个表法的意思

There is a meaning to this expression.

我们再看第三个童子相

Let's take a look at the third child-like appearance.

经云视线算计

The classic says that a line of sight can be calculated.

文艺摄域

伯众道术

Baizhong Daoism

Cluster of ideas

那么佛陀出世

Then the Buddha was born.

当然有经过成长过程

Of course, there has been a process of growth.

既然是视线跟凡夫一样嘛

Since the gaze is the same as that of an ordinary person.

他就有个成长过程

He has a growth process.

他有童年的时代

He has a childhood era.

但是在童年的时候呢

But in childhood, คุณค่ะ?

佛陀对于算术

Buddha on Arithmetic

说个算计就是印度的算术

Saying a calculation is just Indian arithmetic.

诸位都知道

You all know.

印度是算术非常发达的国家

India is a country with very advanced arithmetic.

对这个算术

Regarding this arithmetic.

文艺

Literary and artistic

文艺就是这个各种这个工巧

Literature and art are all about these various skills and crafts.

技术

Technology

还有设议

There are also suggestions.

设议就是他的这个

The proposal is exactly this of his.

骑马射箭

Horseback archery

属于武术

Belong to martial arts.

还有伯宗道术

There is also Bozong's Taoist magic.

伯宗道术呢

What about the Daoist techniques of Bozong?

就是学习当时印度的这些

It is about learning these things from India at that time.

奥义

废陀等等

那么当然佛陀是

So of course the Buddha is...

是视线嘛

Is it a line of sight?

所以他从小就表现出

So he has shown since he was young.

很特殊的多才多艺

Very special and versatile.

是描绘这个意思

It depicts this meaning.

我们看第四个那七

We look at the fourth one, those seven.

好我们解释一下这个那七项

Okay, let's explain these seven items.

这个那七是有到有一个原因的

There is a reason for this seven.

释迦太子出生以后

After Prince Siddhartha was born.

根据印度的习俗

According to Indian customs.

他们大户人家都要找

They all want to find a rich family.

下面是来算命

Here comes to tell fortunes.

当然进饭房也不例外

Of course, the dining room is no exception.

那身为一个国王

As a king

他就找了500个先人

He found 500 ancestors.

同时为释迦太子看相

At the same time, observe Prince Siddhartha's fortune.

那么这500先人看相以后

Then after this 500 ancestors read the fortune

都觉得这个小孩不简单

Everyone thinks this child is extraordinary.

记住32相

Remember 32 directions.

32种美好的相状

32 Beautiful Forms

所以这个500个先人呢

So this 500 ancestors.

就做出两个结论

Just draw two conclusions.

说这个人长大以后

Saying that this person will grow up later.

如果没有出家

If I had not become a monk.

在世俗里面待着

Staying in the secular world.

那么是转轮圣王

Then it is the Wheel-Turning Holy King.

统一整个印度

Unify the whole of India.

如果他出家

If he renounces the world.

那么就会成就无上的绝道

Then it will achieve the supreme ultimate path.

在这个修行上会有大成就

There will be great achievements in this practice.

那么这个进饭房就紧张了

Then entering the dining room became tense.

到底他是在家呢

Is he at home or not?

还是出家呢

Still going to become a monk?

这500先人没办法决定

These 500 ancestors have no way to decide.

都看不出来

Can't see it at all.

总是两种情况都有可能

There are always two possibilities.

那么进饭房说

Then go into the dining room and say.

那谁能够看得出来呢

Who can tell?

说这个世界上能够看出来

It can be seen in this world.

只有我们的老师阿斯陀先人

Only our teacher Astor is a predecessor.

说你可不可以把你师父请来呢

Can you invite your master to come?

这500先人就坐下来

The 500 ancestors just sat down.

意念他的师父

The idea of his master.

所以阿斯陀先人就献请

So the ancestors of Ashtu offered a request.

献请以后呢

What about after the offering?

这个阿斯陀先人就

This ancestor of Astor...

深入的看这个小孩的相状啊

Look closely at this child's appearance.

看完以后啊

After watching it, you know.

就痛哭流涕啊

Just crying bitterly.

他说这个人啊

He said this person.

他是八十种相啊

He is the embodiment of eighty different forms.

你看他每一种相啊

Look at every expression of his.

技术八十种好啊

Eighty kinds of technology are great!

这个人肯定要出家了

This person is definitely going to become a monk.

他不是做转轮圣王

He is not the Wheel-Turning King.

转轮圣王只有三十二相

The Wheel-Turning Sage King has only thirty-two features.

没有八十种好

There are not eighty good things.

他一定会出家

He will definitely become a monk.

那你为什么流泪呢

Then why are you crying?

因为我已经120岁了

Because I am already 120 years old.

我再也看不

I can't stand it anymore.

我没有一眼见到佛陀了

I haven't seen the Buddha at a glance.

佛在世时我沉沦啊

When the Buddha was in the world, I was lost.

所以他这个

So this of his...

他说这个这个

He said this this.

他成佛以后啊

After he became a Buddha, ah.

我已经不在人世间了

I am no longer in this world.

他为自己感到遗憾啊

He feels regret for himself.

那么当然这件事情也给

Of course, this matter also brings

靳范王一个警惕了

Jin Fan Wang became alert.

因为靳范王毕竟是世俗人嘛

Because Jin Fan Wang is ultimately an ordinary person.

他希望他的儿子要继承

He hopes his son will inherit.

他的国王的位置要

His position as king should be...

光耀门庭嘛

To shine with glory and honor.

所以

So

靳范王为了留住佛陀啊

Jin Fanwang is trying to keep the Buddha.

使令他不出家

Preventing him from becoming a monk.

他做了两件事情

He did two things.

在经论上说啊

It is said in the scriptures.

第一个

The first one.

他盖了四个宫殿

He built four palaces.

春夏秋冬

Spring, summer, autumn, winter.

春天做这个宫殿

Build this palace in spring.

夏天秋冬

Summer, autumn, winter.

四个宫殿

Four palaces

让他感受到非常的如意的境界

Let him feel a very satisfying state of being.

第二个

The second one.

在他17岁的时候

When he was 17 years old.

早早让他结婚

Let him get married early.

希望他打消出家的念头

I hope he gives up the idea of becoming a monk.

这个就是他那期的一个因缘

This is a connection from that episode of his.

因为阿斯陀先人

Because of the ancestors of Ashhtar.

一言

One word.

这个小孩一定会出家

This child will definitely become a monk.

也一定会成就无上绝道

It will certainly achieve the supreme ultimate way.

靳范王为了避免这件事情发生

Jin Fanwang took measures to prevent this situation from occurring.

他就盖了宫殿

He built a palace.

而且给释迦太子纳期

And also give Prince Siddhartha a deadline.
