HDG AC Bhaktivedānta Svāmī Prabhupāda - Bhagavad-gītā Introduction [Gītopaniṣad] (February 19, 1966, New York)
Om Ajñāna-timirāṇḍhasya jñānāñjana-salākayaḥ cakṣur militaṁ jīno tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ
Unto the guru, who opens the eyes of the one blinded by ignorance with the ointment of knowledge, I offer my respectful obeisances.
śrī-caitanya-mano-bhiṣṭhyaṁ sthāpitaṁ jīna-bhūtale svayam rūpa-kadāmayam dadāti-sāpadāntikaṁ
Upon the desire of Śrī Caitanya, He established on this earth a personality named Rūpa, who is the embodiment of divine love and devotion, and He grants shelter to all who approach Him.
vandehaṁ śrī-guraḥ śrī-yuta-pada-kamalaṁ śrī-guraṁ vaiṣṇam ānśyaḥ
From there, the lotus feet of the revered Guru, who is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
śrī-rūpaṁ śākra-yātam śahagana-raghunāthān-nitaṁ svaṁsa-jīvam
śrī-rūpaṁ śākra-yātam śahagana-raghunāthān-nitaṁ svaṁsa-jīvam translates to "When Srinivasa Acharya, along with his elder brothers, sees Swami Haridasa, he immediately becomes ecstatic and laughs."
śvād-dayitaṁ śāvadhūtaṁ parijana-sahitaṁ kṛṣṇa-caitanya-devam
The phrase appears to be in Sanskrit rather than Dutch. The translation from Sanskrit to English is: "The beloved of the Supreme Lord, accompanied by His associates, Lord Krishna Caitanya."
śrī-rādhāḥ śrī-rādhāḥ śrī-rādhāḥ śrī-rādhāḥ śrī-rādhāḥ
Śrī Rādhā, Śrī Rādhā, Śrī Rādhā, Śrī Rādhā, Śrī Rādhā.
kṛṣṇa-pādān śāhagana-lalitāśrī-bhi-śākhānitaṁ śyau
Kṛṣṇa's feet accompanied by Lalita and the branches of Śrī.
he kṛṣṇa-karṇāśindho dīna-bandho jagatpate gopesa gopikākāntya radhā-kāntya namasya
O Kṛṣṇa, O ocean of mercy, O friend of the poor, O Lord of the universe, O master of the cowherd boys, O lover of the gopis, O husband of Radhā, I bow to you.
ZANG EN MUZIEK
SINGING AND MUSIC
If we work together with the Lord, collaborate with Him, and support His cooperation, we will also be happy.
The Lord rises in this dead world to show his best time in Vrindavan, complete happiness.
When Lord Sri Krishna was in Vrindavan, his activities with his friends, with his friends, with his friends, and with the inhabitants of Vrindavan and his visitors,
with the skin of the cow and his child, and all these best times of Lord Krishna, were completely happy.
The whole population of Vrindavan was after him.
Ze wisten niet, zonder Krishna.
They did not know, without Krishna.
Zelfs de heer Krishna was versterkt.
Even Mr. Krishna was reinforced.
His father, Nanda Mahārāja, was in the service of the demigod Indra.
Because he wanted to emphasize that people should obey no other demigod but the Supreme Personality of God.
Because the ultimate goal of life is to return to the Lord.
To go back to the father of the gentleman.
The father of Mr. Krishna is described in the Bhagavad-gītā, 15th verse, 6 verse.
Natād bhāśayate śūryo.
The sun shines brightly.
Na sva-sāṅkha na pāvakaḥ yad gatvā na nivartante tad dhyāmaṁ paramam mama.
"After attaining that supreme state, which is beyond all suffering and is not returned from, I meditate on that."
The description of that eternal light, when we talk about light,
because we have the material understanding of light,
That is why we think of light with the sun, moon, stars, like that.
But the Lord says that in the ultimate light, there is no need for the sun.
Natād bhāśayate śūryo.
The sun rises in the morning.
Na sva-sāṅkha na pāvakaḥ.
After the fire, there is no hesitation.
Without that ultimate light, there is no need for the sun.
After pāvakaḥ, this means there is no need for electricity or fire for lighting.
Omdat het geestelijke licht al verlicht is.
Because the spiritual light is already illuminated.
The spiritual light is already illuminated by the brahma-joti, brahma-joti, yasya-prabhā, the light of the Lord, at the top.
Now, in these days, when people try to read,
on other planets, it is not very difficult to understand,
de boodschap van de heerlijke heer.
the message of the delightful gentleman.
The message of the delightful lord is in the spiritual dock, and it is called Golaka.
De brahma-sanghita, het is heel...
The Brahma-sanghita, it is very...
Heerlijk beschreven.
Delightfully described.
Golaka eva nivasati akhila ātma-bhūtaḥ.
The soul dwells everywhere as if it were a globe.
The lord, although he lives eternally in his message, Golaka, is still akhila ātma-bhūtaḥ.
Hij kan...
He can...
Hij kan vroeg worden.
He can be early.
Van hieronder.
From below.
Hij kan ook de heer worden.
He can also become the lord.
And the Lord thus comes to manifest his true form, Satchitananda, vigraha.
Zodat we niet kunnen voorstellen.
So that we cannot imagine.
Er is geen vraag over voorstelling.
There is no question about the performance.
De leken zijn aanwezig.
The laypeople are present.
And he, through his undeniable equality, will present himself in his Samuel and Sander feeling.
And he, through his undeniable equality, will present himself in his Sander feeling.
And there are particular people, with less intelligence, who managed themselves around him.
Vazānanti māng mūḍha.
They think I am a fool.
Because the Lord comes as one of us.
En zoals hij met de paal speelt.
And how he plays with the pole.
He plays with us as humans, which is why we must not mean that the Lord is one of us.
It is his omnipotence that he reveals himself to us in his true form and shows his past,
but he is simply the prototype of his message.
So in that message from the Lord, there are also incredible planets, in that Brahma-jyoti.
Just like we have incredible planets that orbit around sunlight.
Just like in the Brahma-jyoti, which is replaced by the message of the divine Lord, Krishna-loka, Goloka.
Ānanda-cinmaye rasa-pratibhavitābhi .
Ānanda-cinmaye rasa is manifested through the senses.
Al die planeten zijn geestelijke planeten. Ze zijn ānanda-cinmaye. Ze zijn niet materiële planeten.
All those planets are spiritual planets. They are ānanda-cinmaye. They are not material planets.
Dus de heer zegt, na tad-bhāsa-yate sujya na sa-saṅkana-bhāgata yad gatvā na nivartante tad-dhāma-parmaṁ mahaḥ .
So the Lord says, after the light of divine knowledge shines forth, those who have gone there do not return; that is the supreme abode of greatness.
Now, whoever can receive that spiritual air will not need to return to this material air.
In the air. As long as we are in the material air, what are we playing about the arrival of the air planet?
The air planet is of course the highest planet, but even when we reach the highest planet, which is called Brahma-loka.
There we also have the same struggles of material life.
I mean, the troubles of the past, death, the old century, and diseases.
No planets in the material universe are free from the four principles of material existence.
De Heer zegt daarom in de Bhagavad-gītā, ā brahma-bhuvanā lokaṁ punar āvartino yajña.
The Lord therefore says in the Bhagavad-gītā, "From the world of Brahma, those who return, come back through sacrifice."
The living entities travel from one planet to another.
It's not that we can simply go to other planets because of the mechanical changes,
door de mechanische veranderingen van de Sputnik.
due to the mechanical changes of the Sputnik.
Someone who wants to go to another planet, there is a process.
Jānti deva-vṛtād īmāṁ pitrīṁ jānti pitrīṁ vṛtāḥ .
The deities go to the celestial realm; thus, the ancestors go to the realm of the ancestors.
If someone wants to go to another planet, say a moon-planet,
Then you shouldn’t try to get through the Sputnik.
De Bhagavad-gītā in de Stapsa, jānti deva-vṛtād devān,
The Bhagavad-gītā in the Stapsa, janti deva-vṛtād devān,
this moon-planet or sun-planet or the planets above this bhu-loka, they are called sarva-loka.
Bhu-loka, bhuvar-loka, sarva-loka, they are different statuses of planets.
Dus devaloka, ze zijn genoemd net zo.
So devaloka, they are called just like that.
The Bhagavad-gītā provides a very simple formulation that you can go to the highest planets, devaloka.
Jānti deva-vṛtād devān.
The phrase translates to "The gods are pleased by the offerings made to them."
Deva-vṛtā, when we practice the process of hearing about a certain demigod,
Then we can also go to that specific planet.
We can go to the sun planet, we can go to the moon planet, we can go to the holy planet.
But the Bhagavad-gītā does not advise us to go to any of these planets in the material world.
Because even if we go to the Brahma-loka, the highest planet,
wat door de moderne wetenschappers gecalculeerd wordt,
what is calculated by modern scientists,
that we can reach the highest planet by traveling with Sputniks for 40,000 years.
Now, it is not possible to live for 40,000 years.
and to reach the highest planet of this material world.
But when one lives in the hearing of the certain demigod,
Can he connect to the specific planet, as stated in the Bhagavad-gītā, jānti deva-vṛtā devān?
Pitrī-jñānti pitrī-vṛtāḥ.
The ancestors are aware of their descendants.
Hetzelfde geldt voor de Pitrī-loka.
The same applies to the Pitrī-loka.
The same goes for someone who wants to join the highest planet, the highest planet.
De hoogste planeet betekent de Krishna-loka.
The highest planet signifies the Krishna-loka.
In het geestelijke lichaam
In the spiritual body.
zijn er ongelooflijke planeten,
are there incredible planets,
de Sanatana-planeten, de eeuwige planeten,
the Sanatana planets, the eternal planets,
die nooit worden vernietigd.
that are never destroyed.
But of all those spiritual planets, there is one, the original planet, called Goloka Vṛndāvana.
This information is found in the Bhagavad-gītā, and we are given the opportunity to live in this material world and to attain our lives in the eternal kingdom.
The fifteenth verse of the Bhagavad-gītā is there.
The eternal place of this material world is given.
Het staat daar dat
It says there that
urdha-mūlaṁ madho-sākhaṁ asvattham prāhur avyayam chandāṁ si yasya-parṇānīm yasya-bhedaḥ sva-vedo-bhedaḥ
They say that the imperishable asvattha tree has its roots above and its branches below; the Vedas are its leaves, and the one who knows this tree knows the Vedas.
Deze materiële wereld
This material world
is considered in the fifteenth verse of the Bhagavad-gītā as a tree that has grown its size upwards.
Have you had the experience of a tree that has grown in size upward?
We had this experience of a tree growing upward through reflection.
When we stand on the bank of a river, or of a water reservoir, we can see that the trees on the bank of the reservoir,
is reflected in the water like a tree that goes up and up.
So this material world is practically a reflection of the spiritual world.
Just like the reflection of trees on the bank of a water reservoir,
is de water reflecteerd naar boven.
is the water reflected upwards.
Hetzelfde geldt voor deze materiële wereld.
The same applies to this material world.
Het heet schaduw.
It is called shadow.
Schaduw.
Shadow.
Just as there can be no reality in the shadow.
Maar tegelijkertijd,
But at the same time,
From the shadow, we can understand that there is a reality.
The example of the shadow, in the watershed, in the desert,
Does that mean there is no water in the desert, but there is water?
Dus de water is de geestelijke wereld.
So the water is the spiritual world.
In the shadow and in the water, there is an equality.
En dus wordt er tijdelijk gelijkheid geschikt.
And so temporary equality is deemed suitable.
Maar wat betekent gelijkheid?
But what does equality mean?
That means there is no shade and no water.
That means there is no white oil and no meat.
Het is een geestelijke wereld.
It is a spiritual world.
That means there is no spiritual water, and those who are do.
Dat is een geestelijke wereld.
That is a spiritual world.
And that is the spiritual world of ours.

That is sac-cid-ānanda-vigraha. He has his form, but his form is eternal, blissful, and full of knowledge, consciousness, and full of bliss.
Nee.
Now we can simply compare, our future body, whether this body is sac-cid-ānanda. No.
This body is asat. Instead of being sat, it is asat.
Antavattu imedi, ha, Bhagavad-gītā zegt.
Antavattu immediate, yes, the Bhagavad-gītā says.
That this body is antavattu, forgotten, and sac-cid-ānanda.
Then, instead of becoming a sac, it is the asat, just the comparison.
And instead of becoming sac, full of knowledge,
is het asat.
is it ash.
Het lichaam is vol kennis.
The body is full of knowledge.
We have no knowledge of the spiritual kingdom.
We also do not have perfect knowledge of this material world.
Zo veel dingen zijn voor ons onbekend.
So many things are unknown to us.
Daarom is dit lichaam,
Therefore, this body,
is,

ignorant.
ignorant.
In plaats van volkennis te worden,
Instead of becoming knowledgeable,
is het ignorant.
Is it ignorant?
Het lichaam is vergeten,
The body is forgotten,

in plaats van vol kennis te worden,

Fl regulations.
Alle flûten die je leert,
All the flutes you learn,
in deze materiële wereld. Het is allemaal doordat van deze lichaam.
in this material world. It's all because of this body.
The Lord says that at the time of death, remember Me and you will attain Me.
Iemand die deze materiële lichaam verentert,
Someone who enters this material body,
only by remembering the Lord Krishna, the Divine Personality of God,
At a certain point, the spiritual body of Satchitananda, the enemy, is received.
The process of maintaining this body and acquiring another body in the material world.
is ook...

georganiseerd.

A man decides during what form of body he will have in the next age,
dat is besloten door de hoge autoriteiten.
That has been decided by the high authorities.

volgens onze diensten worden we gepromoot of gedegreerd.
According to our services, we are promoted or downgraded.
Unfortunately, according to our actions, we are actions of this life.
The activities of this life are preparation for the next life.
We prepare for the next life through our activities,
van deze leven.
of this life.
So if we can prepare ourselves in this life to receive the promotion for the delightful lord,
"then certainly after life, after the design of this material body, says the Lord,"
that the shape of the body we have already discussed and the quantity of those planets are much, much larger than all the universes of this material world.
Deze materiële wereld is ekaṁ sena sthito jagat.
This material world is the universe situated as one.
This is the fourth part of the challenge of the whole creation.
The fourth part of the challenge of the whole creation is the delightful delightful world.
And in the fourth part of this creation, there are millions of universes like this one,
die we nu ervaren.
that we are now experiencing.
And in one universe, there are millions and millions of planets.
So there are millions and millions of suns and stars and moons in all these material worlds.
But all these material worlds exist from just a fourth challenge of the entire creation.
De vierde uitdaging zit in de geestelijke lichaam.
The fourth challenge lies in the spiritual body.
De vierde uitdaging raakt aan deаки.
The fourth challenge touches on the anxiety.

If we see,
Met verschillende naam. Padra-mraha-nudra-dhava.
With different names. Padra-mraha-nudra-dhava.
Madhava, Govinda.
Madhava, Govinda. There are many independent names of these four hundred dhārā.
So one of the planets, that is also Madhava. That is also within the spiritual nature.
So every independent dhārāṁ that thinks something like this about the Brahmajyoti at the end of its life or meditates on the Paramātmā,
or thinks about the Supreme Personality of God, Śrī Kṛṣṇa,
in ieder geval,
in any case,
they go to the spiritual air, but only the spiritual dhārāṁ,
those who have their practice, their personal assessments, with the Supreme Spirit,
ze gaan naar de Vaikuntha-planeten of naar de Goloka Vṛndāvana-planeten.
They go to the Vaikuntha planets or to the Goloka Vṛndāvana planets.
De Geest zegt,
The Spirit says,
brahmad-dhārāṁ tath vajayan v
"the bearer of Brahman and also the one who wields power"
We reject it with our imagination. That is not the process of the spiritual reading of the Bhagavad-gita.
As Arjuna said, sarvam etam nitaṁ manne, I believe in everything you say.
As Arjuna said, the Lord says that when death comes, whoever thinks of Him,
as well as Brahma or Paramatma or the person who is self-controlled,
zeker is hij in de geestelijke lucht. En er is geen onduid over.
Surely he is in the spiritual air. And there is no doubt about it.
Waarom?
Why?
You don't have to be incredibly so.
And the process is, the general rules, also described in the Bhagavad-gita,
how it is possible to enter the spiritual realm,
only through the thinking of the Lord at the moment of death.
Omdat,
Because,
de generalistische regels zijn ook beschreven.
The general rules have also been described.
De,
The,
er zijn verschillende gedachten.
There are different thoughts.
Nu,
Now,
this material nature is also one of the spiritual atmospheres, as I have already explained,
that this material nature is also the explanation of one of the energies of the Lord of the Association.
In de Vishnupura,
In the Vishnupura,
the total energies of the Lord of the Association,
zijn de geestelijke energieën,
the spiritual energies,
de onverzichtbare energieën,
the unmanageable energies,
die hij niet kan ontdekken.
that he cannot discover.
Maar,
But,
grote,
big,
geleerd,
learned,
verslagde zielen,
registered souls,
ze hebben geleerd,
they have learned,
en ze hebben de hele energie vervangen,
and they have replaced all the energy,
in drie delen,
in three parts,
in drie hoofdstukken.
in three chapters.
De eerste,
The first,
is de geestelijke lucht.
is the spiritual air.
De tweede is,
The second is,
that all energies are the power of the Lord.
Alle energieën,
All energies,
are different potencies of the Lord, Vishnu.
Nu,
Now,
dat,
that,
die energie is para,
that energy is para,
transzendental.
transcendental.
En,
And,
khyatra-jnā-kā-tathā-para,
khyatra-jnā-kā-tathā-para
and the living entities, kṣetra-jñāna, are also part of that superior energy group,
as it is also confronted in the Bhagavad-gītā. We have already learned that.
And the other energy, the material energy, is called titya karma-saṅga-jñā.
The other energy lies in the feeling of invincibility.
Dat is de materiële energie.
That is the material energy.
So the material energy is also the Bhagavad-gītā.
De Bhagavad-gītā is ook de Bhagavad-gītā.
The Bhagavad-gītā is also the Bhagavad-gītā.
Dus op het moment van de dood,
So at the moment of death,
kunnen we of we kunnen,
can we or we can
staying in the material energy, or this material world,
or we can be replaced in the spiritual world.
Dat is de titana.
That is the titana.
Dus de Bhagavad-gītā zegt,
So the Bhagavad-gītā says,
de Bhagavad-gītā zegt,
the Bhagavad-gītā says,
jñānyana-vāpi smaraṇa-bhāvam tajatante kalevaram
This text appears to be a combination of Sanskrit words rather than Dutch. A possible translation from Sanskrit to English would be: "One who remembers the essence of knowledge and the form of the body at the time of death."
tam tameva aitikaunteya sada tada-bhāva-bhāvam
"Those who are not attached to anything, always engaged in devotion, their consciousness is centered on Me."
Nu,
Now,
als je je vervangt,
if you replace yourself,
om te denken,
to think,
both of this material energy and of this spiritual energy.
Nu,
Now,
hoe te vervangen,
how to replace,
de vervanging van de materiële energie,
the replacement of the material energy,
hoe het kan worden vervangen
how it can be replaced
in het vervangen van de geestelijke energie,
in replacing the spiritual energy,
van de geestelijke energie.
of the spiritual energy.
So for thinking in spiritual energy, the Vedic literatures exist.
Just like thinking in material energies, there are so many literacies.
nieuwsbrieven,
newsletters,
magazines,
magazines,
nobelen,
nobles,
fictieën,
fictions,
en zoveel dingen.
and so many things.
Heel veel literatieën.
A lot of literacies.
So our thoughts have been replaced in these literations.
In addition, if we want to change our thinking in the spiritual atmosphere,
Then we need to replace our reading quality in the Vedic literatures.
Then we need to replace our reading quality in the Vedic literatures.
And we have already been replaced at ant level.
To hold an attack in the spiritual councils.
Dazu,
In addition,
moet je natuurlijk goed gaan.
Of course, you have to go well.
There v directly advises to v because it is.
Amitabha.
Amitabha.
Jij yakoma adjectivis hoodar,
You yakoma adjectives hoodar,
Then you will go with the replacement spirit Delle Thermo.
Care voor overader ervoor gaan.
Take care of the betrayer before you go.
I already mentioned it regarding the spiritual vision.
There is a verse which reads as follows.
There is a verse which reads as follows.
Anadi-bohimok-jiv-krsna-bhuli-gela-ataye-krsna-ved-puran-korila
Anadi, forgetting Krishna, has become entangled in material existence; therefore, Krishna has revealed the Vedas and Puranas.
That these forgetful living entities, conditioned souls,
That these forgetful living entities, conditioned souls,
they have forgotten the relationship with the Supreme Lord,
they have forgotten the relationship with the Supreme Lord,
and they are engrossed in thinking of the material activities.
and they are engrossed in thinking about material activities.
And just to transfer their thinking power to the spiritual capacity,
And just to transfer their thinking power to the spiritual capacity,
the krsna-daipayanavyara,
the Krsna-Daipayanavyasa,
he has...
he has...
He has made so many Vedic literatures.
He has created so many Vedic literatures.
Vedic literatures means, first he divided the Vedas into four,
Vedic literatures means, first he divided the Vedas into four,
then he explained them by the Puranas,
then he explained them through the Puranas,
then for the incapable persons, just like Sri Sudravaishya,
then for the incapable persons, just like Sri Sudravaishya,
he made the Mahabharata, and in the Mahabharata,
he made the Mahabharata, and in the Mahabharata,
he introduced this Bhagavad-gītā.
he introduced this Bhagavad-gītā.
Then again he summarized the whole Vedic literature in the Vedānta-sūtra,
Then again he summarized the whole Vedic literature in the Vedānta-sūtra,
and the Vedānta-sūtra, for future guidance,
and the Vedānta-sūtra, for future guidance,
he made a natural commentation by himself, which is called Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.
He made a natural commentary by himself, which is called Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is...
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is...
It is the natural commentation of Vedānta-sūtra.
It is the natural commentary of the Vedānta-sūtra.
So all these literatures, if we transfer our thought,
So all these literatures, if we transfer our thought,
tada-bhāva-bhāvita, sada, sada-tada-bhāva-bhāvita,
tada-bhāva-bhāvita, always, always and in that state, bhāvita
one who is engaged always, just like the materialist is always engaged,
one who is always engaged, just like the materialist is always engaged,
in reading some material literature,
in reading some literary material,
like newspaper, magazines, and fiction, novel, etc.,
like newspapers, magazines, and fiction, novels, etc.
and so many scientific or philosophical, all these things,
and so many scientific or philosophical, all these things,
of different degrees of thought.
of different degrees of thought.
Similarly, if we transfer our, that reading capacity,
Similarly, if we transfer our reading capacity,
for these Vedic literatures, as presented by, as very kindly presented by,
for these Vedic literatures, as presented by, as very kindly presented by,
and by Vyāsadeva, then it is quite possible for us to remember at the time of death the Supreme Law.
and by Vyāsadeva, then it is quite possible for us to remember the Supreme Law at the time of death.
That is the only way suggested by the Lord Himself, not suggested in the fact,
That is the only way suggested by the Lord Himself, not suggested in fact.
not suggested in the fact.
not suggested in the fact.
We all know and we can come to know the Lord.
We all know and we can come to know the Lord.
We respect overwhelming the Lord.
We respect overwhelming the Lord.
The Lord suggests that.
The Lord suggests that.
He advices Arjuna that
He advises Arjuna that

he advises Arjuna that
He advises Arjuna that
He advises Arjuna that
to remember the Lord.
to remember the Lord.
невIGENОورOWבτα gigabytes are ordinary things of work that make this life meaningful.
Gigabytes are ordinary things of work that make this life meaningful.
He doesn't say that you are simply remembering me and making your future goal.
Nee, dat is niet toegestaan. De Heer geeft nooit iets onpraktiek.
No, that is not allowed. The Lord never gives anything impractical.
Onpraktiek.
In practice. In this material world, to maintain this body, you have to work.
The operation is divided into four divisions of the social model.
Brahmin, warrior, merchant, laborer, the intelligent class of society.
Ze werken in een verschillende manier.
They work in a different way.
And the administrative class of society, they also work in a different way.
The mercantile society and the productive society, they also operate in different ways.
And the working class, they also work in a different way.
Ze werken ook in een verschillende manier.
They also work in a different way.
And human society, both as workers and as mercantile people,
or as politicians, administration, or as the highest class of the intelligent class of people
In literature, in scientific research, everyone is engaged in violence.
En men moet werken.
And one must work.
Elke keer.
Every time.
Samen met je strijd voor je bestaan.
Together with your struggle for your existence.
Dan is het niet mogelijk. Het is niet mogelijk.
Then it is not possible. It is not possible.
Hetzelfde is geadviseerd door de heer Chaitanya.
The same has been advised by Mr. Chaitanya.
Kirtanya sadah. Kirtanya sadah.
Kirtanya is always. Kirtanya is always.
One would use to sing the name of the lord.
Dat is altijd zo.
That is always the case.
The name of the lord and the gentleman are not different.
So here is the instruction of Lord Krishna to Arjuna,
dat, mam anusmaram,
that, mom anusmaram,
remind me, and Lord Caitanya's instruction, that you always sing the name of Krishna.
Here Krishna says that you always remember me, or you remember Krishna.
And Lord Caitanya says, you always sing the name of Krishna.
So there is no difference, because Krishna and the name of Krishna are not different.
In the absolute, in the absolute status, there is no difference between one singing and another.
Dat is het absoluut status.
That is the absolute status.
So the Lord is absolute. There is no difference between His name and Himself.
Dus we moeten dat zo praktiseren.
So we need to practice that like this.
Tasmā sarveṣu kāliṣu.
Therefore, in all respects.
We must always, 24 hours, change our life activities in such a way that we can remember them, 24 hours.
Hoe is dat mogelijk? Ja, dat is mogelijk.
How is that possible? Yes, that is possible.
It is possible that a very herbal example is set by the ācāryas in this connection.
En wat is dat voorbeeld?
And what is that example?
It says that a woman who is with another man,
Although she has a woman, he is still involved with another man and this finding is very strong.
This is called parokiaras, both in the case of a man and a woman.
If a man has a finding for another woman, besides his wife,
or if a woman has a finding for another man besides his wife,
dan is die bevinding zeer sterk.
then that finding is very strong.
Die bevinding is zeer sterk.
That finding is very strong.
So the ācāryas give this example as a woman with a bad character,
that has a finding for another woman.
She always thinks, but at the same time her wife says that she is very busy with the family comparisons.
so that her wife cannot compare her character.
So, as she always remembers the time of meeting with her lover,
and her lover at night, in case she works the whole household very well,
then one must also remember that the delightful woman, Śrī Kṛṣṇa,
Always, in the event that they are doing very well with their material advantages, that is possible.
It contains a strong, a strong sense of love.
If you have a strong sense of love for the wonderful woman,
then it is possible that we can strengthen our goal,
and at the same time remember the wonderful woman.
Dus, we moeten dat zin ontwikkelen,
So, we need to develop that sentence.
hebben we die zin nodig.
Do we need that sentence?
Maar dat is een eerzijke zin.
But that is a honorable sentence.
Twee zin's, dat zijn twee zin's.
Two sentences, those are two sentences.
You need a thirteenth sentence to strengthen that goal.
That is a singular sentence, because a 12th sentence is a very important sentence.
And that is a tenth sentence, that is a very important sentence.
And that sentence is therefore a tenth sentence,
to give up his fighting, to go to the forest, to the Himalayas, and to meditate.
Toen het yoga-systeem aan Arjuna werd geadviseerd,
When the yoga system was advised to Arjuna,
Arjuna said that this system was not possible for him.
Toen de Heer zei, yoginam api sarvesa mad-gata-antara-atmanah,
When the Lord said, "even among yogis, I am the inner soul of all."
mad-gata-antara-atmanah siddhāvāṁ bhajate jumāṁ sami-yukta-tamaṁ bhaṭaḥ
The translation is: "The great soul, who is perfectly situated, worships me with unwavering devotion."
Dus wie altijd over de Heer denkt, is de grootste yogi.
So whoever always thinks of the Lord is the greatest yogi.
He is the supreme jnani, and he is also the greatest giver of birth at the same time.
The Lord advises that in all circumstances, remember Me in battle.
As a caster, you cannot give up your fight. You must fight.
So at the same moment, if you always remind me,
dan is het mogelijk dat je...
then it is possible that you...
If at the time of death you remember me, then it is possible that you will also remind me of the moment of death.
Maiyā pitta-mano buddhi mām eva hyasyaśi asaṁsaya.
"My mother, father, mind, and intellect are indeed all within me, without a doubt."
Once again, he says that there is no accident when someone is fully in the service of the Lord.
But there is no accident when someone is completely in the service of the Lord.
Maiyā pitta-mano buddhi.
Mother, father, mind, intellect.
Because we are not working with our body, actually, but we work with our body and intelligence.
Dus als onze intelligentie en lichaam,
So if our intelligence and body,
are we always entwined in the thoughts of the delightful sir,
Then our senses are of course also devoted to the service of the Lord.
Dat is het geheim van de Bhagavad-gītā.
That is the secret of the Bhagavad-gītā.
Men moet deze kunst leren leren, hoe men kan worden geabsorbeerd,
One must learn this art of how to be absorbed.
both through the body and the intelligence, 24 hours of the thinking of the lord.
And that helps someone to spread themselves in the kingdom of the Lord,
or in the spiritual atmosphere, after the life of this material party,
the modern scientists, they try for years and years together,
to reach the moon planet, and they do not have an exit yet.
But here in the Bhagavad-gītā, here is the suggestion,
assume that a man lives for another 50 years,
and he, so no one tries to submit themselves to spiritual ideas for 50 years,
that is a very good idea, but even for 10 years or 5 years, one tries to be honest about this practice.
mayā gita-manabuddhi.
I am not able to translate that as it does not appear to be Dutch. It seems to be a combination of words from different languages, possibly Sanskrit. If you can provide more context or clarify, I'd be happy to help further!
It is a matter of practice, and that practice can very easily be facilitated by the devotional process.
Hearing, hearing, the easiest process is to listen.
sravaṇaṁ kīrtanaṁ viṣṇuḥ smaraṇaṁ pādu-sevanam arcanam vandanaṁ dāsaṁ
Hearing, chanting, remembering Vishnu, serving the feet, offering worship, and paying respects are the activities of the devotee.
sakya-māsaṁ vedaṁ. Deze negen processen.
the sakya-month knowledge. These nine processes.
So the easiest process is simply listening.
Hearing this Bhagavad-gītā, or Srimad-Bhāgavatam, from the realized person,
dat we onszelf opleggen,
that we impose on ourselves,
in the thoughts of the delightful person, 24 hours,
that someone leads, ultimately, at the end, to remember the delightful lord.
And thus, by losing this body, he will have a spiritual body.
that simply exists for the comparison with the Lord.
De Heer zegt daarom,
The Lord says therefore,
abhyāsa-yoga-yuktena cetu sād naṁ gāmināṁ paramaṁ puruṣaṁ divyaṁ yāci pārtha-anucintayan
"By practicing yoga and concentrating the mind, O Partha, one can attain the supreme divine person, the ultimate goal of all beings."
Anucintayan, constant van zichzelf denken, alleen.
Anucintayan, constantly thinking of oneself, alone.
Het is niet een heel moeilijk proces.
It is not a very difficult process.
One must learn this process from the experienced person.
In this life, one should realize the true nature of the self and seek guidance from the genuine spiritual teacher.
One must connect with a person who is already in practice.
Dus abhyāsa-yoga-yuktena. Dit heet de praktijk van de abhyāsa-yoga.
So, with the practice of abhyāsa-yoga. This is called the practice of abhyāsa-yoga.
Abhyāsa-yoga, how to remember the Glorious Lord, always.
Ceta-sād naṁ gāmināṁ. De lichaam.
Ceta, sad is the way of the bodies.
The body always flies towards this, towards that.
So one must be engaged in practice, embodying the form of the Glorious Lord, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, in the form of the Glorious Lord, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, always.
Or in its sound, in its name, which is much easier, instead of concentrating the body in my body.
Mijn lichaam kan heel...
My body can be very...
calm, more uncomfortable, going here and there.
But I can concentrate my body in the resonant vibration of Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
En dat zal ook me helpen. Dat is ook de abhyāsa-yoga.
And that will also help me. That is also the abhyāsa-yoga.
Ceta-sād naṁ gāmināṁ parvam puruṣaṁ divyaṁ.
Ceta-sād naṁ gāmināṁ parvam puruṣaṁ divyaṁ.
The supreme personality of Godhead in the spiritual kingdom, in the spiritual sky, one can approach.
The supreme personality of Godhead in the spiritual kingdom, in the spiritual sky, one can approach.
Anucīntayaṇa, constantly thinking.
Anucīntayaṇa, constantly thinking.
So...
So...
These processes, the ways and means...
These processes, the ways and means...
Everything is in the Bhagavad-gītā and there is no cause for anyone.
It's not that a certain class of people can knock on the door.
The thoughts of Lord Kṛṣṇa are possible. Hearing Lord Kṛṣṇa is possible for everyone.
En de heer zegt in de Bhagavad-gītā,
And the Lord says in the Bhagavad-gītā,
De heer zegt...
The gentleman says...
That even a person in the lowest status of their life,
the lowest status of his life, or even a past wife,
of een marktman, of een arbeidsklasseman...
either a market man or a working-class man...
De marktmanklasseman, de arbeidsklasseman,
The market man of the working class,
and the women's classman have been announced in the same category,
omdat hun intelligentie niet zo ontwikkeld is.
because their intelligence is not so developed.
But the Lord says, she too, or even less than she.
Not only she, or less than she, or anyone, it doesn't matter who he is or who he is.
Anyone who accepts these principles of bhakti-yoga, and the Lord says that he is the message of life.
Het hoogste doel, het hoogste doel van het leven, māṁ hi-pārtha-papāsya-jepi-sattvīpī-jaṁ di-parāṅgatiṁ.
The highest goal, the highest goal of life, is to attain the ultimate reality beyond the material existence.
That parāṅgati in the spiritual world and the spiritual sky, everyone can witness it.
Eerlijk gezegd, men moet de systeem praktiseren.
To be honest, one must practice the system.
That system is described in the Bhagavad-gītā, very beautifully, and one can observe it and make their life perfect, creating a predictable solution to life.
That is the sunshine of the entire Bhagavad-gītā.
Therefore, the conclusion is that the Bhagavad-gītā is a transcendental literature that must be read very carefully.
Gītā-śāstra-mṛdaṁ puṇyaṁ yappate prajatā-pumān.
"The Gītā, the scripture of the pure, is for the person who is devoted."
En het resultaat...
And the result...
The result will be, if he follows the settings correctly,
Then he can free himself from all the troubles of life, from all the fears of life.
bhaya-sokādi-vibharyitam.
bhaya-sokādi-vibharyitam.
All the peace of life, in this life,
as he receives a spiritual life in the following.
Zoals...
As...
gītā-dhyāna-śīlasya prāṇāyaṁ parasya ca naiva-santiḥ pāpāṇi purvajanma kṛtā niśa
The meditation of the guitar, the breath of another; there is no peace for the sins committed in previous lives.
Another advantage is that if one reads the Bhagavad-gītā very honestly, with such honesty,
Then, through the peace of the Lord, the reactions of his wrongdoers will not respond to him.
De Heer zegt heel luid in de Bhagavad-gītā, in de laatste deel,
The Lord says very loudly in the Bhagavad-gītā, in the last part,
ahaṁ tāṁ śarūpāpebhaṁ mokṣeṣya .
I will attain liberation through that form.
The Lord takes the wrong wrong traffic that the Lord takes.
The gentleman takes the wrong traffic that the gentleman takes.
The Lord takes the wrong traffic that the gentleman takes,
that the lord takes from all the responses of the spirits.
mala nirmo canaṁ puṁśaṁ jala-snānādi
Mala nirmo canaṁ puṁśaṁ jala-snānādi translates to "The removal of impurities from a person is through activities such as bathing in water."
dine dine, jana-snānaṁ dine dine, sakṛta-gītāṁ muṣi-snānaṁ saṁsāraṁ malaṁ nāsaṇaṁ
day by day, bathing again and again, once more singing the Gita, cleansing the dirt of worldly existence.
Men cleanses himself daily by swimming in the water.
But one who takes one's bath in the sacred, ganges water of Bhagavad-gītā,
But one who bathes in the sacred, Ganges water of the Bhagavad-gītā,
his dirty material life is altogether vanquished.
his dirty material life is altogether vanquished.
gītāḥ sukṛtā-kartabhyāḥ kim anyaiṁ śāstra-viṣṭaraiḥ
The translated text is: "What is the use of scriptures filled with rules for those who are endowed with good deeds?"
jā syaṁ padmanā-bhūṣṭa-mukha-padmād-viṇiṣṭitāḥ
Yes, those whose faces are adorned with lotus-like flowers.
Because Bhagavad-gītā is spoken by the Supreme Personality of Godhead,
Because the Bhagavad-gītā is spoken by the Supreme Personality of Godhead,
therefore people should, people may not read all other Vedic literatures.
Therefore people should, people may not read all other Vedic literatures.
Simply, if you are...
Simply, if you are...
If you are listening attentively and regularly, you read and hear Bhagavad-gītā,
If you are listening attentively and regularly, you read and hear Bhagavad-gītā,
gītāḥ sukṛtā-kartabhyāḥ, and one should adopt this means, by all means,
"The good deeds of the virtuous should be adopted by all means."
gītāḥ sukṛtā-kartabhyāḥ kim anyaiṁ śāstra-viṣṭaraiḥ,
What other scriptures can compare to the actions performed by the virtuous?
because at the present age people are embarrassed with so many things
because at the present age people are embarrassed by so many things
that it is hardly possible to divert their attention in all the Vedic literatures.
that it is hardly possible to divert their attention in all the Vedic literatures.
This one literature will do, because it is the essence of all Vedic literature,
This one literature will do, because it is the essence of all Vedic literature.
and especially spoken by the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
India, established by the devotion to Vishnu, for all beings that are dead.
gītā-gaṅgu-da-gaṅgu-vṛtvāḥ unar janmaṁ aviddhate
The translation is: "Those who have become one with the Ganges do not take birth again."
As it is said that one who drinks the water of the Ganges, he also gets salvation.
As it is said that one who drinks the water of the Ganges also attains salvation.
Then what to speak of Bhagavad-gītā? Bhagavad-gītā is the nectar in the whole Mahābhārata,
Then what to speak of the Bhagavad-gītā? The Bhagavad-gītā is the nectar in the whole Mahābhārata.
and spoken by Viṣṇu. Lord Kṛṣṇa is the original Viṣṇu, Viṣṇu-bhaktyād-viṇiṣṭitam.
and spoken by Viṣṇu. Lord Kṛṣṇa is the original Viṣṇu, established by devotion to Viṣṇu.
It is coming out of the mouth of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and gaṅgu-da-gaṅgu, the Ganges, is said to be emanated from the lotus feet of the Lord.
It is coming out of the mouth of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and Gaṅga, the Ganges, is said to be emanated from the lotus feet of the Lord.
And Bhagavad-gītā is emanated from the mouth of the Lord.
And the Bhagavad-gītā is emanated from the mouth of the Lord.
Of course, there is no difference between the mouth and the feet of the Supreme Lord.
Of course, there is no difference between the mouth and the feet of the Supreme Lord.
Still, from neutral position we can study that Bhagavad-gītā is even more important than the Ganges.
Still, from a neutral position, we can study that the Bhagavad-gītā is even more important than the Ganges.
Then the Ganges water.
Then the Ganges water.
sarvo paṇiṣuto kāva dukdhā gopāla-nandana pārtha vasya sudhir bhaktā dukdhaṁ gītāṁ mṛtaṁ mahā
The translation is: "Sarvo, the one with the great wisdom, is dedicated to the beloved son of the cowherd, Gopala, and to Partha; all devoted devotees enjoy the milk of the Gita, which is a great treasure."
Just... This Gītopaniṣad is just like a cow.
Just... This Gītopaniṣad is just like a cow.
The Lord is famous as cowboy, and He was milking this cow, sarvo paṇiṣadam.
The Lord is famous as a cowboy, and He was milking this cow, sarvo paṇiṣadam.
And it is the essence of all Upaniṣads, and represented as the cow.
And it is the essence of all Upaniṣads, and represented as the cow.
And the Lord, being expert cowboy, He is milking the cow, and pārtha vasya.
And the Lord, being an expert cowboy, is milking the cow, and pārtha vasya.
The Ganges is just like the cow, and sudhir bhaktā, and learned scholars, and pure devotees, they are to take this milk.
The Ganges is just like the cow, and Sudhir devotees, and learned scholars, and pure devotees, they are to take this milk.
Sudhir bhaktā dukdhāṁ gītāṁ mṛtaṁ mṛtaṁ.
Sudhir devoutly recites the song of the dead, the dead.
The nectar, the milk of Bhagavad-gītā, is meant for learned devotees.
The nectar, the milk of the Bhagavad-gītā, is meant for learned devotees.
Evam śāstraṁ devaki-bhūtra-gītam eka deva devaki-bhūtra eva eka mantra-strasya-nāvānī yāni karma-karmapī ekaṁ tasya devasya-sevā
The text appears to be a mix of languages, including elements of Sanskrit. Because it is not entirely in Dutch, it might not have a straightforward translation. However, a rough translation of the identifiable parts could be: "The scripture of Evam, sung by the son of Devaki, is the one deity; the son of Devaki is indeed one mantra. Those actions are one; the service of that deity is one."
The world should learn from the Bhagavad-gītā.
The world should learn from the Bhagavad-gītā.
The lesson. Evam śāstraṁ devaki-bhūtra-gītam.
The lesson. The scripture sung by Devaki's son.
There is one scripture only, one common scripture for the whole world, for the people of the whole world,
There is only one scripture, one common scripture for the whole world, for the people of the whole world,
and that is this Bhagavad-gītā, deva devaki-bhūtra eva.
and that is this Bhagavad-gītā, the divine son of Devaki indeed.
And there is one God for the whole world, is Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
And there is one God for the whole world, it is Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
And eka mantra-strasya-nāvānī, and one hymn, mantra, one hymn only, one prayer, or one hymn is to chant His name.
And that is the mantra of the boat of the mantra, and one hymn, one mantra, one hymn only, one prayer, or one hymn is to chant His name.
Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare, Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare.
Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare, Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare.
Eka mantra-strasya-nāvānī.
Eka mantra-strasya-nāvānī.
Jāni. Karmapī ekaṁ tasya devasya-sevā.
Jāni. Karma is the service to that deity.
And there is one work only, that is to serve the Supreme Personality of God.
And there is only one work, which is to serve the Supreme Personality of God.
If one learns from Bhagavad-gītā that the people are very much anxious to have one religion, one God,
If one learns from the Bhagavad-gītā that people are very anxious to have one religion, one God,
one scripture, and one business, or one activity of life, this is summarized in the Bhagavad-gītā.
One scripture, and one business, or one activity of life; this is summarized in the Bhagavad-gītā.
That one, one God is Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa is not sectarian God.
That one, one God is Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa is not a sectarian God.
Kṛṣṇa, from the name of Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa means, as we have explained above, Kṛṣṇa means the greatest place.
Kṛṣṇa, from the name of Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa means, as we have explained above, Kṛṣṇa means the greatest place.
So therefore...
