En toen heeft ze me direct benaderd.

And then she approached me directly.

En toen kwam het onderwerp Odensehuisorkest ter sprake.

And then the subject of the Odensehuis Orchestra came up.

En ik wist niet eens wat Odensehuis was.

De mensen in Vught waren ontzettend lief en aardig.

Maar de verhuizing naar Deurne brengt minder goede ervaringen.

But the move to Deurne brings less good experiences.

Nou, en toen begon het. Ik wil niet alle mensen met de vinger nawijzen.

Ik ben er doorheen gekomen door mijn goede vriendinnen op school.

Muziek maken op de donderdagmiddag met het Odensehuisorkest vindt Jorie heerlijk.

Jorie loves making music on Thursday afternoons with the Odensehuis orchestra.

Soms val ik een beetje in een depressie.

Sometimes I fall into a bit of a depression.

Ik kan bijvoorbeeld ook niet tegen het regenachtig weer steeds.

For example, I can't stand the rainy weather all the time either.

En dan denk ik, oeh, verschrikkelijk.

And then I think, oh, terrible.

Maar zo gauw ik hier ben, dan valt het gewoon van me af.

Nou, dat vond ik ook heel leuk.

Ik heb meteen drie vriendinnen uitgenodigd.

I immediately invited three girlfriends.

Ik zeg, ja, die waren ook al...

Die zijn ook 75 en zo, hoor.

Nou, die zijn toch gekomen.

Die vonden het ook edig.

En ook buiten het orkest om vindt Jorie in muziek een uitlaatklep.
