Het was echt zo dicht op het festival.

Na Vicefest Duitsland is het tijd voor een Amerikaanse tour voor de Vices.

Soms voelt alles wel een beetje als een soort roes.

We hadden Oosterpoort al gedaan natuurlijk.

En gisteren een showtje in Brighton.

And yesterday a little show in Brighton.

Heel klein, vergeleken met hier.

En het dak ging eraf.

En hier was het ook heel bijzonder.

Want wel drie enorm grote fans hebben wij mogen verspelen vandaag.

Echt superleuk.

Maar is zo'n show spelen dan ook extra moeilijk?

But does performing such a show make it extra difficult?

Op zich niet per se.

Want, ik weet niet, zodra het spel gewoon begint, dan kijken we elkaar aan.

Because, I don't know, as soon as the game just starts, we look at each other.

Hoe is het dan om in zo'n thuisstad te spelen?

Ik denk dat we vorig jaar twee gigs in Londen hebben gedaan vorig jaar.

Eén in het begin van het jaar en één aan het einde van het jaar.

En dit stadje is in ieder geval geïnteresseerd.

De band Historian pakte deze keer anders aan.

The band Historian took a different approach this time.

Dus Lizzie en ik, omdat we met een camper gingen, omdat we dachten dat is een goed idee,

So Lizzie and I, because we were going with a camper, because we thought it was a good idea,

gingen wij dus achterin gewoon slapen.

So we just went to sleep in the back.

En ik kon...

Lizzie sliep zes uur.

Lizzie slept for six hours.

Ik had geen oog dichtgegaan.

I hadn't closed an eye.

Voor in de bus hoor.

En ik had zelfs...

Ik had mijn oortjes zelfs in.

I even had my earbuds in.

En ik dacht, ik luister lekker iets naar ASMR of naar B.B. King.

And I thought, I'll enjoy listening to some ASMR or B.B. King.

Dat is wel lekker hele rustige blues.

Wij zaten daar als twee vijftig plus mannen tevreden in hun camper te skeuren.

En heel hard kan werken tegelijkertijd.

Want iedereen die vindt het ook gewoon het allerleukste om te doen.

Dus als je dat met elkaar al hebt.
