Hoe doe je dat?

Dat is een beetje creatief zijn inderdaad.

Mijn horecazaak is vooral een beetje beachclubachtig, maar dan aan een groot meer.

My hospitality business is mainly a bit like a beach club, but by a large lake.

Dus dat gebeurt vooral in de zomer.

So that mainly happens in the summer.

Van april tot en met oktober ongeveer.

Dus in die periode is het lastig om weg te gaan.

Maar mijn grote vakantie komt meestal vanaf oktober, november, zoiets.

En in de tussentijd probeer ik altijd wel ergens een weekje te snoepen of een weekendje.

Maar een grote vakantie in de zomer zit er voor mij niet in.

En als je dus een weekje of een weekendje weggaat, kun je dan de boel een beetje de boel laten?

En toen moest ik bijna een soort van draaiboeken maken als ik een weekendje weg wilde.

En toen heb ik mijn beste vriend bij de zaak ingezet.

And then I involved my best friend in the business.

Die is nu 50% eigenaar.

He is now 50% owner.

En nu kan ik dus echt weggaan als ik wil.

And now I can really leave if I want to.

En dan hoef ik er helemaal niets aan te doen.

And then I don’t have to do anything about it at all.

Hij neemt alles over. Hij weet alles.

He takes over everything. He knows everything.

Dus dat is heel fijn.

So that's very nice.

En wat is jullie taakverdeling dan in de zaak ook?

And what is your division of tasks in the case as well?

We doen eigenlijk allebei alles.

We actually both do everything.

Dus als er iemand nodig is in de keuken, doen we dat.

So if someone is needed in the kitchen, we'll do that.

Als er iemand nodig is op het terras, doen we dat.

If someone is needed on the terrace, we will do that.

Bruiloften hebben.

Having weddings.

Die voorbereiding doe ik meestal.

I usually do that preparation.

Maar het is eigenlijk best wel 50-50.

En als je een reis voorbereidt?

Dat kan ook zo ineens een maand van tevoren zijn.

Ik ben afgelopen jaar ook naar Dubai geweest.
