Hoe kijkt men in Duitsland daarnaar vooruit?

How does one view this in Germany going forward?

Ja, vanochtend kon ik mijn zoontje weer even naar het schoolplein brengen om naar school te gaan.

Yes, this morning I was able to take my little boy to the schoolyard again to go to school.

En toen ben ik zoveel aangesproken door allerlei ouders die zeiden...

And then I was approached by so many parents who said...

van oh, zo jammer dat het Nederlands elftal eruit is.

Oh, what a shame that the Dutch national team is out.

En ja, voor wie moeten we nu zijn in de finale?

And yes, who are we supposed to root for in the final now?

Want ja, voor Spanje willen ze in geen geval zijn, want die hebben natuurlijk Duitsland uitgeschakeld.

Because yes, they definitely don't want it to be Spain, because they knocked out Germany, of course.

Ja, en de Engelsen, daarna was Oranje favoriet.

Die hebben hun tweede favoriet uitgeschakeld.

Dit nieuws is ingeslagen als een bom in...

in Duitsland.

Rheinmetaal produceert ontzettend veel wapens...

die ook worden ingezet in Oekraïne tegen Rusland.

that are also being used in Ukraine against Russia.

En is daarmee een heel strategisch belangrijk bedrijf in die strijd.

Beveiliging schijnt opgevoerd te zijn naar het niveau van bondskanselier Scholz.

Dus die topman wordt nu net zo goed beveiligd als de bondskanselier.
