ACP at New Media Expo 2008

Hey folks, this is Alan from AnotherCrappyPodcast.com with a real quick update.

I'm posting this to all of my podcast feeds, so if you subscribe to more than one of my shows, you're going to hear this more than one time.

So if you've already heard this, why not just fast forward on to the next show on your list?

That's probably going to be more interesting than listening to me say this again.

Anyway, the New Media Expo has been going on out in Las Vegas, Nevada.

That's the show formerly known as the Portable Media Expo, which was formerly held in Southern California

and formerly referred to as the Podcast Expo by most of us.

Well, I just wanted to say thanks to my friend Steve, who was able to informally represent us at the show.

He managed to get a brief interview on the Stickcam TwitLive broadcast today, Friday, August 15th, just before 11.30 a.m. local time.

TwitLive is a video show done by Leo Laporte, and it can be found at twitlive.tv.

Leo is host of a syndicated tech radio show, and he used to be on the Tech TV cable channel on shows like The Screensavers.

Anyway, Leo is one of the leaders in the podcasting community right now,

making his full-time living off of media stuff like this with dozens of podcasts such as This Week in Tech,

which is where Twit comes from, and tons of others.

I don't know if they plan to rebroadcast any of the video from the Expo,

but I hope they do because I was at work today and couldn't see it myself.

But I was able to get some screen captures of the interview,

so I made a new page at anothercrappypodcast.com where you can see them if you're one of those real curious types.

So again, a big thanks to Steve.
