improved that technology after years and years of uh introducing it um now all right i think this

on to talk about the fact that like i was saying a minute ago that the technology had not improved

in the last 20 years since that came out

they're deep faked and i'm like i'm gonna disagree i have seen deep fakes where i was

this is also a rental property and um the person's renting the place out for four grand a month which

and we're both going through what we do in the shadows doing a rewatch of everything

in anticipation of uh october 16th i think is when what we do in the shadows comes back

for its final season yeah so it's not

you know i finished up the latest season of cobra kai last weekend okay i enjoyed it

it's kind of drifted off now though to be honest with you were you the one that was telling me

they're doing a prequel series no it wasn't me must have been barb now they have another movie

coming out a karate kid movie maybe that ralph macchio and jackie channer in the end okay that's

it it's it's it's macchio coming back for another movie yeah he's coming back for a movie and that

kind of wraps everything up oh okay but it's not like that's it's not like that's it's not like that's

it has anything with cobra kai it's you know right another karate kid thing and jackie chan who

was in the new karate kid um he's coming back in so the smith kid yeah okay never saw that one never

saw that never never did either nothing nothing against any of those it's like ralph macchio's

the karate kid sorry yeah i was gonna say it's yeah i'm not even a big karate kid fan and even

i'm like no ralph macchio's oh the first the first one's pretty good you know yeah i was gonna say

it's all right actually i like i like this movie i like this movie i like this movie i like this movie

the second one yeah it was after that i kind of got lost and i've liked cobra kai so far as a

series yeah i tried to watch it i couldn't do it you know because well i think also um uh william

zabka is just so good in that role but he kind of became it's like they're writing it dumb for him

now like he's intentionally dumb right i'm like i'm not really cool with that okay he's he's he's

grown as a character why do you still have him acting this way acting dumb yeah acting like he

doesn't know anything okay yeah i mean again it makes for good comedy right but at the same time

it's like do we need to really be keep harping on this harping yeah yeah but then again that's

what it is yeah but i enjoy it i enjoy it this is the final season so right i do want to listen

to how does this does macchio do the audio in the audiobook i do not know um my glasses

and see because actually i just i told you i listened to dave roll audiobook right

no barb did too it's really good that's what barb keeps telling me barb keeps telling me

that terry's more of a reader so i'm gonna buy her the book okay that's really fucking good yeah

yeah barb raves about it because it's funny well when i got done playing with with xbox you guys

last night y'all fucking pissed me off well you didn't that's what else pissed me off uh put

saturday night live on and it was the uh nate

the comedian yes yes yes it was from this past season yeah yeah yeah and he was on and now

and then the food fighters were the mat where they meet yes hang on hang on

could be painful i'm going in to get a beer um no no um bag is ready i think is his name i can't

remember i want to see one of his stand-up specials i really do i never watched any of them i've heard

he's just hilarious stand-up wise and his stand-up on snl was pretty good no wasn't bad wasn't bad

no um but actually it was better in the second doings i remember i forgot some of that stuff

yeah but uh food fighters were the special guest that night okay i remember that and they did that

whole beach lake sketch

where dave grohl showed up as the cornhole champion guy oh yeah yeah yeah yeah no and

yeah that's something about it was like so i watched that that was really funny that and the

whole founding of the country thing okay that is one of your best written sketches they've done

yeah because it's like no no we're not doing this this and this we're gonna do it on this

you spell that nobody can't

there's 12 inches in a foot you know so there's 12

in a meter no that's three how many meters in a mile nobody knows nobody knows how many feet

are in a mile this big number nobody will ever forget that that was one of the best written

sketches right that and also the the top chef mock thing the cook-off i don't think i remember

that one yeah oh where it was like soul food they had to cook okay okay okay and you had you had um

um him versus uh ego uh nudum okay no ego or i can't remember her last name uh i don't know the

first name but he cooked all this uh you know uh all this soul food really great and he's like a

i'm sorry i know i'm sorry and they're like oh they had assistants and the other and the other

person was african-american oh geez they're oh he must have had help so they bring out the

african-american person oh i

do it he goes over to the other side of african-america y'all cannot be messing

with our culture this way and he brought another white guy it was mikey day

oh such a good fucking episode day is so good day is a very underrated guy but and then well

he's only gonna have so many months to play biden though that's yeah true because he is he because

they did a halloween special where uh christopher walking comes out okay as the ghost of halloween

i think i remember that yeah yeah

and uh because he's like up on that ladder and then what's his face oh the young kid

i can't remember his name he's newer i think he's a guest appearance guy

younger guy dark hair he came out as mike uh johnson you know the speaker of the of the uh

house oh i think um i think i know who you're talking about yeah but he came out and uh

he was talking about hey i'm really interested to see you on top of that i'm i'm the person that's

uh two steps away from uh the presidency i'm really interested in you being on this ladder

again and just hanging up halloween decorations nice bye all right anything else we need to get

into uh digital release dates oh that's right because you're talking there's no decent copies

on the internet in the bootleg world of

no not yet but you know it it will be out shortly yeah it should i'm figuring what this is its third

week out i'm figuring at the five or six week mark so i say within two or three weeks really

it'll be hitting that soon i think i mean it's still it's still hitting number two in the box

office you think you think they just hold it and wait for it to drop outside the top five see it's

so hard to judge because it's disney you know i mean look at the but it's making

money though that's what i'm saying it's disney it's they don't let go of that shit um the inside

out two came out that's that was months ago oh yeah what was hold on wait a minute what was

its release date let's see august 20th was it still making money in theaters though was it

like a top five movie i think it was i'm pretty sure it was i mean maybe once they hit a certain

number they're like we'll make more money okay well

because we can get people to buy the fucking streaming service exactly um theater date that

makes sense june 14th so so far it's been what a month two months june july july august when it

come out it's uh june 14th so it's been it's been two full months and it drops on oh it hasn't

dropped yet okay no no it drops on

this coming tuesday

after tomorrow so yeah two and a half months two and a half months so yeah we'll just call it two

and a half months which is so much longer than everybody else matter of fact if you look down

the line um long legs is hitting the street uh next friday and uh trap the new m night

shaman ding dong is coming the next tuesday after that i do it's called i know you do but

made no money uh no it hasn't long let long legs making made no money

no made no money but i do want to see long legs really bad i'm not disagreeing i'm gonna say

it's not sitting in theaters making no taking 40 million dollars and and two weeks from

two weeks from this weekend we get borderlands which i want to just hit theaters this past week

yeah but it made no money no and just got completely raped by critics i think the budget

was something like uh look at it

no no no it was like 80 million dollars that's not bad no that's not horrible at all for that

cast no no and the thing is i want to see it because of that cast yeah it has me curious

and people were hating on i'm like is this real hate or is this like let's jump on the bandwagon

i think it was too similar to fallout to really get a good reception fallout was so good and so

well received the same thing is

well okay but borderlands is not the game people have fun with it but it wasn't the fallout game

no it wasn't the fallout games no no you know it's like okay twisted metal received pretty

decent reviews when i remember yeah it did if twisted metal had gotten released after fallout

right we've still had good reviews because it's very similar in story right

but at the same time

you know not nearly as good yeah true true true you know other than anthony mackie and

um uh what's his face um arquette um david no will oh well will arnett will arnett okay okay

yeah yeah i mean and he's just a voice right yeah he's really good at it i mean that movie

and the show is actually really good you got the girl there from you know uh brooklyn uh

nine nine right but you know very similar post-apocalyptic thing going on okay but

if that got released after you know yeah fallout would have gotten good reviews like oh it's just

cheap habitation fallout right you know could be because fallout was really fucking good

oh fallout was phenomenal yeah yeah i mean shit anybody out there who hasn't seen it yet

fucking watch it on amazon you know it's really good oh yeah it's it's uh it's some awesome shit

matter of fact i'm probably gonna wait i was thinking about doing in the next month or so

but i'm probably gonna wait once we get a release date on the second season then i'll i'll sit down

and do a rewatch yeah shit that's only eight eps you can get that done oh yeah seven eight nights

and there may be there may be an hour apiece yeah exactly yeah so yeah

well all right i think that's anything else you need so we're getting that release dates

the other release dates um as far as i know we got nothing else going on

um i mean i don't know they're even coming up this tv season i may be interested in watching

i haven't heard a word we're getting ready going to new tv time i'm like

i don't even care at all i haven't heard a word um you know once upon a time in the

old days i was like oh my god i'm gonna watch this i'm gonna watch this i'm gonna watch this

old days going back to the 90s we used to have a fucking tv guide you remember the tv guide the

size of a size of a little digest came out weekly and once a year you get fall preview the fall

preview issue yeah and they had write-ups and descripts and synopsis for every every uh series

that was coming out for that fall and it was fucking awesome man

you know but so much now is just either rehash yeah because i was kind of halfway interested in

that uh uh mark paul gosler series what's that i haven't seen it uh the one where he was a

kidnapper kidnapped somebody when he was when when they were younger and they grew up became

a cop kidnapped him and used him to help i can't remember the name of it i don't think it was taken

but uh it looked interesting but now i keep thinking okay didn't we get that with kevin

bacon and the following you know those kind of serious you know do you never watch the following

no i never watched it you first season you need to fucking watch was it does the show have a

beginning middle and end yes it does yeah i mean it goes in season two basically they the first

season ends with okay this is all we plan on doing oh we got renewed well shit we gotta come up with

something now oh shit okay yeah because it ends

really pretty much you know there's no i guess there's a little bit of cliffhanger because it's

just it's kind of that kind of thing like oh what happened you know that kind of thing but not a

we're falling into season two at least when i remember it was such a fucking good show dude

you need that's a show you should watch because you would dig the fuck out of it i'm looking to

see who's streaming it now uh let's see

it's going for uh shit there it is hold on the following i mean i mean kevin bacon was so good

there were two three seasons okay three seasons first season's the only one you gotta watch

second season is like what i don't know fuck off wow it's not

anywhere normal uh really no buy or stream you can stream it on son of a bitch

watched it watch the first episode second episode you'll be hooked fuck i downloaded

no you'll be hooked on it you think so oh i think so no because it was such a because harley and i

used to just basically oh god oh the other other series we were both both like i don't think you

did you ever watch broadchurch

the first season when you had watched after that was like that i think we watched second season was

okay yeah but it wasn't the first season i think we watched two the first season was so good and

the whole twist at the end of it like what the fuck right now that was definitely the end of

that first season was like what my i've watched this so long to keep up with who's gonna be the

murderer and i'm watching all this shit and then what no okay yeah that was broadchurch yeah that

is definitely one i recommend anybody who's looking for something to watch and just make it on the air

right now shit is everything shit and tell you what if you think there's something out there we

should watch let us know let us know because i'm kind of like there's things out there i thought

well it might be decent but i've been disappointed by so much shit well i found what was uh what was

that one sky or something that took place in like alaska on cps or something i have no idea but it's

like it looked interesting

i don't know that one at all well i also think because you and i both have gotten to the point

now we're like oh this won't last more than six episodes yeah yep why why am i gonna get into this

why would i get invested yeah yeah why am i getting invested in this this isn't gonna last

very long we got there's so many shows that just like they canceled that yep got burned too many

fucking times between them and uh between the the networks and uh netflix who will yeah

who will cancel the show with the drop of a fucking hat and then you know in the cw you know

basically have gone boring down superhero shit yep because after a while it just became the

same crap every fucking year there's no more are there i think no there's nothing else i think

everything's done because it was the same shit every year hey flash you gotta run faster yeah

you know again yeah it's like once arrow ended

and i still haven't ever watched the last season of arrow i i missed like the last two or three

seasons yeah i'm right there with you i missed it i was like yeah you know once i think

after damien dark or rosal rule i just like i'm out yeah yeah yeah it's just becoming boring it

just yeah it just became boring they were you gotta shoot your arrows even better this time

yeah there you go yeah i think i might have run faster i think the only one i really wish i kept

yeah was legends of tomorrow yeah that was now that was a good show yeah especially when they

brought um team constantine yep totally i think at that point i kind of gotten once they got rid

of captain cold and all the other stuff that i was like yeah you know it became a little less

desirable yeah and once they got rid of rory from doctor who that's right i forgot he was in that

that's right he was the first season yeah that's right

yeah one thing i really have is okay i don't care about the chick from from from uh from arrow yeah

exactly yeah that's the little sister that's whatever i don't give a shit yeah it doesn't

matter anymore uh fuck it yeah fuck it so well all right we're at the end i think we at the end
