Le métier, ça consiste à travailler la musique avec eux, faire des répétitions, si besoin, les accompagner pour trouver des musiciens, faire des auditions.

The job involves working with them on music, holding rehearsals, if needed, helping them find musicians, and conducting auditions.

Et réfléchir avec eux à ce qu'ils veulent faire, comment on va monter les tournées, dans quelle salle on va aller, quel festival.

And think with them about what they want to do, how we will arrange the tours, which venue we will go to, which festival.

Et puis après, ça part sur la route, et effectivement, on se déplace avec eux, on découvre les festivals dans lesquels ils jouent.

La histoire dont on va parler, c'est une histoire qu'elle a eue en 2013.

Je travaille dans une structure qui s'appelle FURAX, avec plein d'artistes français.

Et il y a un groupe que j'adore.

J'ai déjà vu une fois dans un festival qui s'appelle C2C.

I have seen it once at a festival called C2C.

C2C, coup de crosse, qui sont donc quatre fois champions du monde de DMC.

C2C, a cross-check, who are therefore four-time world champions of DMC.

Champion du monde de DMC, ça veut dire que c'est le concours de DJ international.

World champion of DMC, that means it's the international DJ competition.

Ils l'ont quatre fois et c'est vraiment de la technique.

Et un jour...

Ils sont en train de faire leur première tournée.

They are on their first tour.

Et du coup, on va monter des concerts pour eux.

Chez FURAX, je suis la seule.

Et c'est une équipe plutôt masculine avec une administratrice.

Donc, je suis effectivement la seule femme au booking.

Le gérant de l'époque me fait confiance en me donnant ce groupe à gérer.

C'est une grosse responsabilité.

Je pense que je suis prête à le faire.

Et surtout, je suis très enthousiaste et motivée.

Moi, ma réponse, en tout cas, ça a été de comprendre tous les métiers qu'entourait mon activité.

Je posais énormément de questions aux techniciens pour pouvoir devenir une interlocutrice légitime.

Et ça, en fait, ça m'a demandé plus de travail, plus d'énergie pour pouvoir être au même endroit.

Le festival a envie d'accueillir C2C, mais en revanche, on n'est pas encore attendu au niveau du public.

Et qu'on est clairement une découverte là-bas.

Aller jouer à Coachella, en fait, c'est de l'image, c'est de l'histoire.

Et là, je me dis, waouh, on va aller jusqu'à Coochella pour jouer à 13 heures.

And then I said to myself, wow, we are going to Coachella to play at 1 PM.

Mais en fait, le site va être à peine ouvert.

But in fact, the site will barely be open.

Le public ne sera pas là.

The audience will not be there.

Qu'est-ce qu'on va aller faire là-bas à 13 heures ?

What are we going to do there at 1 PM?

Puis à un moment, je regarde, on joue à Chicago dans le routing.

Then at one point, I look, we're playing in Chicago in the routing.

Et puis après, il faut traverser tous les États-Unis et jouer à Coochella.

And then after, you have to cross all of the United States and play at Coachella.

En fait, un, l'horaire ne nous convient pas.

In fact, one, the schedule doesn't suit us.

Et de deux en plus, techniquement, c'est galère, quoi.

And two more, technically, it's a hassle, you know.

Donc, on leur fait un mail en disant, on joue deux jours avant à Chicago, le temps d'arriver.

So, we send them an email saying we play two days before in Chicago, just in time to arrive.

Franchement, il nous faut un autre horaire.

Honestly, we need another schedule.

Ce n'est pas possible.

Et là, ils me répondent, je comprends, mais du coup, on annule.

Et là, je me dis, waouh, qu'est-ce que je viens de faire ?

And then I think to myself, wow, what did I just do?

En fait, il n'y a pas de marge de négociation possible.

In fact, there is no room for negotiation.

En fait, ils n'en ont rien à faire, quoi.

In fact, they don't care at all.

Ils sont tellement gros, soit tu viens, soit tu ne viens pas, quoi.

They are so big, either you come or you don't, whatever.

Du coup, je prends sur moi aussi un petit peu.

So, I'm also holding back a little bit.

Je me dis, bon, en fait, il faut.

I'm telling myself, well, actually, I have to.

Il faut que ça le fasse.

It has to work.

Je transpire un peu, quoi, quand même, déjà.

I'm sweating a little, you know, already.

Donc, on est en tourbus.

So, we are on a tour bus.

Ça veut dire qu'après le concert, on remonte tous dans le bus.

On fait des kilomètres la nuit pour pouvoir avancer le plus vite possible.

We drive for miles at night to be able to move forward as quickly as possible.

Quand je suis dans le tourbus aux Etats-Unis, je suis la seule nana, ouais.

When I'm on the tour bus in the United States, I'm the only girl, yeah.

Et ça, je suis assez à l'aise avec ça parce que je les connais bien.

And that, I am quite comfortable with because I know them well.

Ça fait un an et demi qu'on tourne.

We've been filming for a year and a half.

Du coup, il y a énormément de respect.

So, there is a lot of respect.

On développe des petites combines pour aller se changer à des endroits comme il faut.

On s'arrête en pleine nuit au milieu du désert.

We stop in the middle of the desert in the dead of night.

Je me réveille le matin.

I wake up in the morning.

Il y a des coyotes qui passent à côté du bus, mais au milieu de nulle part, quoi.

There are coyotes passing by the bus, but in the middle of nowhere, you know.

Et là, en fait, le tourbus en panne.

And there, in fact, the tour bus broke down.

Petite pression parce qu'en fait, tu te dis mais je ne vais jamais être à l'or.

That we had common sense.

C'était un moment qui allait être incroyable.

Du coup, on traversait tout ce festival qui est gigantesque.

So, we were going through this enormous festival.

C'est un petit peu l'usine.

Il y a énormément d'artistes qui jouent et qui enchaînent.

There are a lot of artists who perform and keep going.

Il y a peut-être cinq scènes sur le site.

There may be five scenes on the site.

C'est entre le festival et le parc d'attractions, en fait.

Mais quand même, ça y est, clac, c'est l'heure.

Ils montent sur scène.

Les premières notes de musique arrivent.

The first notes of music arrive.

Et là, ça arrive en masse.

Tous les gens, en fait, qui étaient autour,

que je ne voyais pas,

sur d'autres shows, probablement, en fait,

Et du coup, les gens commençaient à arriver.

C'est un des souvenirs les plus...

C'est fou parce que j'ai vécu des émotions.

Je suis passée d'une extrême crainte à un moment vraiment magique

Cette tournée, on vit le truc ensemble.

J'ai quasiment le même âge qu'eux, à trois années près.

Mais du coup, c'est une vraie histoire commune.

C'est une aventure.

Eux, ils découvraient à leur endroit un nouveau public,

des nouveaux territoires pour faire leur concert.

Après, tout ça, c'est toujours une quête personnelle.

Mais dans mon chemin à moi, je me suis sentie, après cette histoire, plus puissante.

But on my own path, after this story, I felt more powerful.

Quand je commence, il y a presque 20 ans,

c'est une génération où il y a de plus en plus de femmes dans les bureaux.

Et donc, c'est le début.

En revanche, sur les équipes techniques, le début du changement n'arrive que maintenant.

de direction plus-plus, il n'y a encore pas ou peu de femmes.

La bascule va se faire, ça va changer, j'en doute pas.

Et aujourd'hui, dans les festivals, il y a des vraies réflexions sur la parité dans les line-up,
