Alors Faites du Slip, c'est un atelier de sous-vêtements pour femmes et pour hommes en tissu surcyclé.

So Make Your Underwear, it's a workshop for women's and men's underwear made from upcycled fabric.

Et donc cet atelier prend place dans le chalutier interlieu à la Baume d'Austin, à quelques kilomètres d'Istrie.

And so this workshop takes place in the trawler interlieu at the Baume d'Austin, a few kilometers from Istria.

Et donc pour commencer, est-ce que vous pouvez nous expliquer un petit peu plus en détail votre projet

Donc on fait du surcyclage, donc on utilise d'anciens draps pour faire des sous-vêtements.

So we do upcycling, using old sheets to make underwear.

Donc revaloriser des matières qui existent déjà pour en faire des caleçons, des culottes, tangas et bientôt brassières.

So revaluing materials that already exist to make boxers, panties, thongs, and soon bras.

On a décidé de s'installer au chalutier pour ne pas être seule dans notre atelier

We decided to move into the trawler so that we wouldn't be alone in our workshop.

et avoir un peu cette énergie de...

and have a bit of that energy of...

De groupe où en fait là-bas, il y a beaucoup d'artisans et du coup, il y a la motivation.

Du partage, de l'entraide.

C'est vrai qu'en fait, nous, on fait partie du coup d'un collectif qui est basé à Romand.

du coup, ça se passait surtout dans notre cuisine, de notre coloc.

En fait, on cherchait à partager notre atelier avec d'autres artisans et artisanes.

In fact, we were looking to share our workshop with other craftsmen and craftswomen.

Et du coup, une amie qui habitait donc à Romand-sur-Isère nous a parlé de l'Artisanoscope.

And so, a friend who lived in Romand-sur-Isère told us about the Artisanoscope.

Et du coup, on est allé voir.

And so, we went to see.

Et en fait, l'Artisanoscope avait pour but de créer un chalutier.

In fact, the Artisanoscope was intended to create a trawler.

Un tiers-lieu.

Et du coup, voilà, en fait, du coup, l'Artisanoscope a travaillé,

enfin, a commencé à se placer sur le projet du chalutier.

Et alors, comment est-ce qu'elle vous est venue,

En fait, nous, du coup, à la base,

donc avec Léa, effectivement, on a fait un CAP en maroquinerie.

So with Léa, indeed, we completed a CAP in leather goods.

On a bossé quand même dans ce domaine-là pendant quatre ans.

We still worked in that field for four years.

Et après, on en a eu marre.

And after that, we got fed up.

On avait envie de voir autre chose pour des questions de valeur, en fait.

We wanted to see something else for reasons of value, actually.

On avait envie de faire quelque chose qui, pour nous, avait du sens.

We wanted to do something that, for us, made sense.

Et aussi, par curiosité, en fait, le textile,

And also, out of curiosity, actually, the textile,

le cuir, c'est quand même un peu différent à travailler.

Leather is still a bit different to work with.

Donc, on avait envie d'un peu étoffer aussi notre savoir-faire, quoi.

So, we wanted to also broaden our expertise a bit, you know.

Et pour nous, c'était...

On en avait marre aussi, donc, d'utiliser de la peau animale.

We were fed up, too, with using animal skin.

Donc, on s'est tournés vers le textile.

On voulait faire de la transformation.

We wanted to do some transformation.
