Hello everyone, I am Pierre-Alain Trévelot, I am an architect and urban planner from the agency TVK.

L'histoire débute sans doute au 19ème siècle, en 1840, lorsque est construite la dernière enceinte de Paris, qui était l'enceinte de Thiers.

The story undoubtedly begins in the 19th century, in 1840, when the last wall of Paris, the Thiers wall, was built.

Il y a beaucoup de gens qui considèrent qu'elle est déjà obsolète, puisque les canons prussiens sont de toute façon capables de l'enjamber à ce moment-là.

C'est facilement, néanmoins elle est construite.
