Heute geht es um ein Sägen und ich möchte gerade mit etwas anfangen, was ich schon bereits als Ausdruck gesehen habe,

Das Wort Gottes eigentlich so einen Ehrenplatz der Bibel geschenkt, also den Platz, der ihr eigentlich zusteht.

In schools, in families.

Das Leben ist ein Wunder.

Wow.

Ja, verglichen mit unseren Nachbarländern sind wir hier in der Schweiz recht viele Christen.

Yes, compared to our neighboring countries, we have quite a few Christians here in Switzerland.

Christen, die die Schweiz segnen, für die Schweiz beten.

Christians who bless Switzerland, pray for Switzerland.

Und ja, wir beten auch, dass Gott Land einnimmt.

And yes, we also pray that God takes possession of the land.

Und dass Menschen wirklich immer mehr...

And that people really are increasingly...

Durch die säkularen Medien.

Through the secular media.

Und dass Menschen wirklich ihr Vertrauen wieder auf Gott setzen können.

And that people can truly put their trust back in God.

Oder das erste Mal auf Gott setzen können.

Or being able to rely on God for the first time.

Ja, und das ist alles erfreulich.

Yes, and that is all pleasant.

Sehr erfreulich.

Very pleasing.

Das ist eine gute Entwicklung.

Gerade in dieser Zeit.

Especially at this time.

Und der Titel von heute ist «We will bless again».

Also wir werden wieder segnen.

Aber die Tatsache ist, dass wir nie aufgehört haben, zu segnen.

But the fact is that we never stopped blessing.

Also auch unsere Kirche.

So also our church.

Die Kirche war zu, ja, hat Gott das Internet, also ein staunliches Segenskanal, gebraucht.

Und es ist einfach wirklich auch unglaublich, wie wir heute mit unseren Fingerspitzen die Welt erreichen können.

And it is simply really incredible how we can reach the world today with just our fingertips.

Und wir wollen heute kurz in die deutsche Version reinhören.

Ist das eigentlich eine Zusammenfassung von diesen fünf wunderbaren Segenswünschen?

Is this actually a summary of these five wonderful blessings?

Das habe ich vorher auch nicht gewusst.

I didn't know that before either.

Manchmal denkt man, dass das etwas Altmodisches ist, eine altmodische Floskel.

Sometimes you think that it's something old-fashioned, an old-fashioned phrase.

Aber das ist es nicht. Das sind Worte, die Macht haben, die eine grosse Auswirkung haben.

But that is not it. These are words that have power, that have a great impact.

Und genau gleich ist es auch, wenn wir schlechte Worte aussprechen.

And it's exactly the same when we speak bad words.

Das Gegenteil von Sägen ist Fluch.

The opposite of saws is curse.

Aber heute konzentrieren wir uns auf ein Sägen.

But today we are focusing on a saw.

Das latinische Wort für Sägen ist «bene dicere».

The Latin word for sawing is "bene dicere."

Die, die Italienisch können, sind wahrscheinlich einfacher.

Those who can speak Italian are probably easier.

«Bene» – gut, «dicere» – Sägen.

"Bene" – good, "dicere" – to saw.

Also gut Sägen.

Alright, saws.

Wir sind berufen, das Gute über die Menschen zu sagen.

We are called to speak well of people.

Und sie zu segnen.

And to bless them.

Aber der Sägen kommt allein von Gott.

But the saw comes only from God.

Er ist der einzige, also der alleinige Sägenspender.

He is the only one, therefore the sole saw donor.

Und wir bitten eigentlich mit dem Sägen, dass Gott diesen Menschen Gutes tut.

And we actually pray with the saw that God does good for these people.

Dass er das Gute bewirkt.

That he brings about the good.

Und er ihnen gnädig ist.

And he is gracious to them.

Und er sie mit Barmherzigkeit, mit Liebe anschaut und ihnen Frieden schenkt.

And He looks at them with mercy, with love, and grants them peace.

Genau gleich, wie Jesus auf dieser Erde war.

Exactly the same as Jesus was on this earth.

Und die Leute mit voller Liebe und Barmherzigkeit in die Augen geschaut hat.

And has looked into the eyes of the people with full love and compassion.

Und ihnen geholfen hat.

And helped them.

Und im Moment passiert auf der Welt, also passiert wirklich etwas sehr Spannendes.

And at the moment something very exciting is happening in the world.

Hat schon das letzte Jahr eigentlich angefangen.

Has the last year actually started yet?

Und wieso passiert das?

And why does that happen?

Im Psalm 50, 15 steht,

In Psalm 50:15 it says,

«Ruf mich an in der Not, so will ich dich erretten und du sollst mich preisen.»

"Call upon me in times of trouble, and I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me."

Meine Kinder nennen den Vers «Trega vom Himmel».

My children call the verse "Trega from Heaven."

Also wie sie im Kids-Treff früher sagten,

So as they used to say in Kids' Club,

sie hatten so kleine Bibelferschen und ihnen wurde gesagt von den Leitern,

they had such little Bible verses and they were told by the leaders,

das ist die Trega vom Himmel.

that is the Trega from heaven.

Wenn irgendetwas ist, kannst du wirklich so einen Notschrei machen zu Gott und er hilft dir.

If anything happens, you can really cry out to God in an emergency, and He will help you.

Und das ist so.

And that is so.

Und ich denke jetzt, stellen wir vor, dass letztes Jahr und auch jetzt während der ganzen Pandemie-Zeit

And I think now, let's imagine that last year and also now during the entire pandemic time

nie so viele Gebete, so viel Not in den Himmel eingeschraubt worden ist,

never so many prayers, so much need has been screwed into heaven,

Er hört eigentlich wirklich alles.

He actually hears everything.

Alles, was wir ihm sagen, er hört es.

Everything we tell him, he hears it.

Und jetzt hört er diese Hilfeschreie und auf der anderen Seite hört er seine Kinder,

And now he hears these cries for help, and on the other side, he hears his children,

wie sie da das Sagen über die Leute, über die Welt aussprechen.

how they pronounce their say about the people, about the world.

Und jetzt,

And now,

ja, was passiert?

Yes, what is happening?

Es passiert, dass das zusammen fliesst.

It happens that it flows together.

Und was macht Gott?

And what does God do?

Er beginnt die Herzen zu vorbereiten und er mobilisiert seine Kinder.

He begins to prepare the hearts and mobilizes his children.

Und das haben eben viele Christen überall so gespürt.

And many Christians all over have felt it like that.

Also wir haben es auch recht gut gespürt.

Well, we felt it quite well too.

Letztes Jahr, also nein, nicht letztes Jahr.

Last year, well no, not last year.

Gerade vor ein paar Wochen habe ich einen amerikanischen Pastor in Britsland,

Just a few weeks ago, I met an American pastor in Britain,

gesehen von ihm, der gesagt hat, es ist so viel gegangen letztes Jahr.

apart from him, who said there was so much going on last year.

Also die ganze Kirche ist aufgestanden und hat geholfen.

So the whole church stood up and helped.

Und sehr, sehr viele Leute sind wirklich zu Gott umgekehrt

And very, very many people have truly turned to God.

und haben Jesus kennenlernen dürfen.

and have had the opportunity to get to know Jesus.

Und mitten in ihren ganzen vielen Problemen

And in the midst of all their many problems.

haben sie einen tiefen Frieden erfahren können.

they have been able to experience a deep peace.

Und ja, in der Schweiz sind wir noch nicht so weit,

And yes, in Switzerland we are not that advanced yet,

aber wir sind mega dankbar für das, was schon gegangen ist.

but we are really grateful for what has already happened.

Und auch in unserer Kirche sind doch recht viele aufgestanden,

And quite a few have stood up in our church as well,

weil wir wollen ja auch als Kirche richtig ein Leuchtturm sein in der Landschaft.

Because we also want to be a true lighthouse in the landscape as a church.

Und Jesus hat auch gesagt, ihr seid, also in Matthäus 5, 14 und 16 schreibt er,

And Jesus also said, you are, so in Matthew 5, 14 and 16 he writes,

also schreibt er, sagt er,

so he writes, he says,

ihr seid das Licht, das die Welt erhält.

You are the light that sustains the world.

Eine Stadt, die oben auf einem Berg liegt, kann nicht verborgen bleiben.

A town that is situated on top of a mountain cannot remain hidden.

Euer Licht soll vor allen Menschen leuchten.

Your light should shine before all people.

Dann werden sie eure guten Taten sehen und euren Vater im Himmel preisen.

Then they will see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Und im Moment ist so vieles irgendwie vorbereitet.

And at the moment, so much is somehow prepared.

Und Gott möchte, dass wir eigentlich ein Werkzeug sind.

And God wants us to actually be a tool.

Jetzt, in dieser Zeit vor allem.

Now, especially in this time.

Und ein Säge sind für andere Menschen.

And a saw is for other people.

Und Petrus sagt darum, seid immer dazu bereit,

And Peter says, therefore, be always ready,

denen Rede und Antwort zu stehen,

to be accountable to them,

euch eurem Glauben und eurer Hoffnung zu fragen.

to ask you about your faith and your hope.

Begegnet ihnen freundlich und mit Respekt.

Meet them kindly and with respect.

Und dazu habe ich ein Beispiel von meinem Leben.

And for that, I have an example from my life.

Vor zwei Monaten habe ich immer wieder den Namen einer Frau gehört.

Two months ago, I kept hearing the name of a woman.

Und wirklich ein paar Tage immer wieder diesen Namen gehört.

And really heard this name again and again for a few days.

Und da wusste ich, ich muss mich bei dieser Frau melden.

And then I knew I had to get in touch with this woman.

Ich muss dort einen Termin machen.

I need to make an appointment there.

Und es ist noch lässig, spannend, wie Jesus wohin, dass er mich führt.

And it is still casual, exciting, where Jesus is leading me.

Ich durfte eine Gesichtsbehandlung machen.

I was allowed to have a facial treatment.

Und dann war ich dort.

And then I was there.

Und dann hat sie mich, bevor wir angefangen haben, gefragt,

And then she asked me, before we started,

ja und, wie hast du das Corona-Jahr überlebt?

Yes, and how did you survive the Corona year?

Und dann habe ich gespürt, gemerkt, wie Jesus mich führt.

And then I felt, realized, how Jesus was guiding me.

Und dann konnte ich ihr wirklich ehrlich sagen,

And then I could really honestly tell her,

am Anfang war es schon ein bisschen crazy.

In the beginning, it was a bit crazy.

Ich habe irgendwie auf den Sturm geschaut.

I somehow looked at the storm.

Und schon mit diesen Bildern von Italien, ich war mega traurig.

And already with these pictures from Italy, I was really sad.

Ich habe auch ein bisschen Angst bekommen.

I also got a little scared.

Und nachher weisst du, ich habe durch das, dass ich so eine feste Beziehung,

And afterwards you know, I have through the fact that I have such a committed relationship,

so eine schöne Beziehung habe mit Jesus,

such a beautiful relationship I have with Jesus,

habe ich dann gewusst, hey nein, ich muss nicht auf die Wellen schauen.

Then I realized, hey no, I don't have to look at the waves.

Ich habe mich entschieden, auf ihn, mich richtig wieder auf ihn zu fokussieren.

I have decided to focus on him properly again.

Und ja, auf das zu konzentrieren, was er vorhat.

And yes, to focus on what he intends to do.

Und er hat Grosses vor.

And he has great plans.

Und durch das habe ich so eine feste, also tiefe innere Frieden,

And through that, I have such a firm, deep inner peace.

überkommt, auch in meinem ganzen Haus war Frieden.

Und ja, und jetzt habe ich gespürt, ich habe einen ganz festen Auftrag,

dass ich anderen Frauen helfen soll, den Frieden zu finden und die Beziehung mit Gott.

Und dann war sie so geflasht von dem, was ich ihr erzählt habe.

And then she was so blown away by what I told her.

Sie wollte so viel von Gott und der Bibel wissen.

She wanted to know so much about God and the Bible.

Wir sind 30 Minuten dann dort gesessen.

We sat there for 30 minutes.

Und sie hat sich einfach so gefreut, dass jemand mit ihr von Gott redet.

And she was just so happy that someone was talking to her about God.

Und sie hat gesagt, weisst du, ich spüre das schon länger.

And she said, you know, I've been feeling that for a while.

Dass wir uns als Gesellschaft eigentlich distanziert haben von Gott.

That we as a society have actually distanced ourselves from God.

Und wir sollten eigentlich zu ihm zurück, weil er ist eigentlich die Hilfe für uns.

And we should actually go back to him because he is actually the help for us.

Und da mussten wir sagen, wow, das hat mich wirklich sehr berührt.

And then we had to say, wow, that really touched me deeply.

Und ja, der Kontakt ist geblieben.

And yes, the contact has remained.

Ich darf jetzt in ein paar Tagen wieder eine Gesichtsbehandlung machen,

Und wie er ihre Nöte kennt, ihre Bedürfnisse,

And how he knows their troubles, their needs,

und wie er ihnen begegnen möchte.

and how he wants to meet them.

Und das habe ich früher nicht so gecheckt.

And I didn't really get that before.

Ich war nicht so weise.

I was not so wise.

Heute bin ich wirklich ein bisschen mehr.

Today, I am really a bit more.

früher wirklich gedacht, es ist meine Pflicht,

und ich liebe diese Menschen

und bist einfach barmherzig

and you're simply merciful

und hab Geduld und lehre von mir

and have patience and learn from me

und ich habe mir müssen Demut lehren.

And I had to teach myself humility.

Ja, ich bin immer noch dran.

Yes, I'm still at it.

Ja, und sind wir einfach

wirklich bereit, ihnen

truly ready to you

und es geht so vielen Menschen ja gleich gut.

And so many people are doing well too.

Warum braucht es Jesus,

Why do we need Jesus,

wenn wir schon so gesegnet sind?

why are we so blessed?

Und ich habe gesagt, ja stimmt,

And I said, yes that's right,

wir sind wirklich gesegnet,

we are truly blessed,

weil als Gott die Welt geschaffen hat,

because when God created the world,

hat er ja die Tiere geschaffen

for he has created the animals

und dann die Menschen

and then the people

und hat sie gesegnet

and has blessed her

und hat ihnen das Leben gegeben

and has given them life

und hat gesagt, so jetzt seid ihr dran

Und wir vertrauen Jesus auch
