Heiliger Geist Teil 6 – Abhängig vom Heiligen Geist

Denn ich habe noch einen schönen Impuls mitgebracht.

Because I have a nice impulse to share.

Und zwar ist der Gedanke, von wem kann man eigentlich am besten lernen, auf den Heiligen Geist zu hören?

The thought is, from whom can one actually learn best to listen to the Holy Spirit?

Von wem?

From whom?

Von Jesus.

From Jesus.

Jesus war ja Mensch geworden und ist über die Erde gelaufen.

Jesus had become a man and walked the earth.

Und da war der 100% Mensch.

And there was the 100% human.

Und sind wir mal ehrlich, Jesus hat seine Sache richtig gut gemacht.

And to be honest, Jesus did a really good job.

Wenn er für Kranke gebetet hat, dann steht in der Bibel, alle sind heil geworden.

If he has prayed for the sick, then it says in the Bible, everyone has been healed.

Alle sind frei geworden.

Everyone has become free.

Alle Dämonen mussten weichen.

All demons had to give way.

Tausende teilweise.

Thousands partially.

Und da, wo Jesus aufgetreten ist, da war Reich Gottes spürbar.

And where Jesus appeared, the Kingdom of God was clearly felt.

Da haben die Leute gesagt, der predigt nicht so wie die anderen Pastoren, sondern hier ist Kraft Gottes.

People said that he doesn't preach like the other pastors, but here is the power of God.

Er hat Tod und Teufel überwunden.

He has overcome death and the devil.

Also wenn es einer richtig gemacht hat, dann Jesus.

Well, if anyone did it right, it was Jesus.

Also lasst uns mal auf Jesus schauen.

So let's take a look at Jesus.

Was sagt er?

What is he saying?

Er sagt über sich, wie er sich vom Gott leiten lässt.

He speaks about how he lets himself be guided by God.

Okay?

Okay?

Gut.

Good.

Und während ich das erzähle, ihr wisst, wer abkackt, wird angemalt.

And while I tell this, you know, whoever messes up gets painted.

Ich sehe schon einige Leute, die so eine bequeme Haltung einnehmen.

I already see some people assuming such a comfortable posture.

Also nur, dass ihr Bescheid wisst.

Mal gucken, ob jemand mit dem Schnurrbart nach Hause geht.

Let's see if someone goes home with the mustache.

Lass uns auf Jesus schauen.

Let's look to Jesus.

Johannes 5, Vers 19 und 20.

John 5, verses 19 and 20.

Da antwortete Jesus und sprach zu ihnen.

Then Jesus answered and said to them.

Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch.

Truly, truly, I say to you.

Der Sohn kann nichts von sich aus tun, sondern nur, was er den Vater tun sieht.

The Son can do nothing of Himself, but only what He sees the Father do.

Denn was dieser tut, das tut gleicherweise auch der Sohn.

For whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise.

Denn der Vater hat den Sohn lieb und er zeigt ihm alles, was er tut.

For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all that He does.

Und er wird ihm noch größere Werke zeigen, sodass ihr euch verwundern werdet.

And he will show him even greater works, so that you will marvel.

Der vollmächtigste Mensch, der jemals auf der Erde lief, sagt von sich, dass er nichts aus eigener Kraft tun kann.

The most powerful man to ever walk the earth says of himself that he can do nothing by his own strength.

Das ist doch krass, oder?

That's crazy, isn't it?

Er war der vollmächtigste Mensch überhaupt und er kann nichts aus eigener Kraft tun.

He was the most powerful person ever, and he can do nothing by his own strength.

Wie kann das sein? Was meint er damit?

How can that be? What does he mean by that?

Und ich würde mir gerne das mal so schrittweise angucken.

And I would like to take a look at that step by step.

Fangen wir an.

Let's get started.

Er sagt,

He says,

Ich kann nichts von sich aus tun, von mir aus tun.

I can't do anything on my own, do anything from my side.

Jesus erkennt hier, dass er abhängig ist von Gott.

Jesus realizes here that he is dependent on God.

Er erkennt, dass er abhängig ist vom Heiligen Geist.

He realizes that he is dependent on the Holy Spirit.

Ich weiß nicht, wann das passiert ist.

I don't know when that happened.

Ich meine, er war zu der Zeit so um die 30 Jahre alt.

I mean, he was about 30 years old at that time.

Ich weiß nicht, wann das.

I don’t know when that is.

Die Kämpfe, die er in der Jugend hatte, mit Versuchungen, vielleicht auch beim Dienst an Kranken,

The struggles he had in his youth, with temptations, perhaps also while serving the sick,

wo er da steht und will Leuten die Hände auflegen und weiß, ich kann das nicht.

where he stands there wanting to lay hands on people and knows, I can't do that.

Vielleicht irgendwie im Kampf in der Wüste, als der Teufel ihn versucht hat.

Maybe somehow in the battle in the desert when the devil tempted him.

Ich weiß nicht, wann er den Moment hatte.

I don't know when he had the moment.

Er sieht aber sein Leben, er hat 30 Jahre lang vielleicht eine Ausbildung zum Zimmermann gemacht,

But he sees his life, he may have trained as a carpenter for 30 years,

weil sein Ziehvater, der Josef, der ist ja Zimmermann gewesen.

because his foster father, Joseph, was a carpenter.

Er sieht die Versprechung Gottes, die er irgendwie auch im Gebet gehört hat,

He sees the promise of God, which he somehow also heard in prayer,

die ihm gesagt worden ist, die er in der Bibel liest.

that has been told to him, which he reads in the Bible.

Er sieht den Weg, der vor ihm liegt.

He sees the path that lies ahead of him.

Und er sieht dieses Spannungsfeld und sagt, ich kann das nicht.

And he sees this field of tension and says, I cannot do that.

Und er merkt, ich erreiche meine Bestimmung nur mit Gott.

And he realizes that I can only reach my destiny with God.

Alleine kann ich das nicht.

I can't do it alone.

Allein ist das zu groß für mich.

Alone, that's too much for me.

Allein schaffe ich es nicht, heilig zu bleiben.

I can't manage to stay holy on my own.

Allein schaffe ich es nicht, diese Last zu tragen.

I can't bear this burden alone.

Und vor allem, ich habe gar nicht die Kompetenz, den Leuten das Reich Gottes zu erklären.

And above all, I do not have the competence to explain the Kingdom of God to people.

Ich habe gar nicht die Autorität.

I don't have the authority at all.

Ich habe nicht alles zu tun, was ich hier tue.

I don't have to do everything that I am doing here.

Er merkt, alleine kann er es nicht.

He realizes he can't do it alone.

Und wenn ich auf mein Leben schaue, ich bin jetzt 47.

And when I look at my life, I am now 47.

Und wenn ich da gucke, je älter ich werde, desto mehr Erfahrung höre ich an.

And when I look at that, the older I get, the more experience I hear.

Ich habe jetzt in den letzten Tagen wieder ein Seminar gehabt,

I have attended a seminar again in the last few days,

habe da ein Zertifikat für bekommen und ich hefte meine ganzen Zertifikate immer ab.

I received a certificate for that, and I always file all my certificates.

Und das ist jetzt...

And this is now...

Ich habe in meiner Arbeitszeit schon einen Aktenordner voll geworden.

I have already filled a binder during my working hours.

Also würde man mir sagen, was sind deine Arbeitszeugnisse,

So they would ask me, what are your job references?

dann ist das so ein schmaler DIN-A4-Ordner schon voll.

Und ich muss schon, wenn ich mich irgendwo bewerbe, Auswahl treffen und sagen,

Früher war ich alleine und konnte tun und lassen, was ich will.

In the past, I was alone and could do as I pleased.

Dann habe ich eine Frau gekriegt, dann habe ich Kinder gekriegt, ein Haus gekauft.

Then I got a wife, then I had children, bought a house.

Und jetzt ist das total kompliziert.

And now it's totally complicated.

Das ist alles irgendwie...

That's all somehow...

Also alleine die Fahrerei, Arbeit, Kinder, der will dahin, da, dies, das.

So just the driving around, work, kids, he wants to go here, there, this, that.

Das ist...

That is...

Das Leben wird immer komplizierter.

Life is becoming increasingly complicated.

Und dann sehe ich, was Gott über mich sagt.

And then I see what God says about me.

Seine Verheißung.

His promise.

Ich lese die Bibel und er sagt, ich bin Priester.

I read the Bible and he says, I am a priest.

Ich bin Priester Gottes.

I am a priest of God.

Ich bin Vermittler zwischen Gott und den Menschen.

I am a mediator between God and people.

Er sagt, ich bin Botschafter.

He says, I am an ambassador.

Gott ist Stellvertreter Gottes.

God is the representative of God.

An Christ die Stadt.

To Christ the City.

Das, was Jesus getan hat, das soll ich jetzt tun.

What Jesus did, I should do now.

Und dann sehe ich, was Jesus getan hat und das soll ich jetzt tun.

And then I see what Jesus has done, and I am supposed to do that now.

Dann sehe ich meine persönliche Berufung.

Then I see my personal calling.

Das, was er über mein Leben ausgesprochen hat.

That, what he has said about my life.

Was ich alles tun soll.

What I should do.

Meine Ziele, meine Aufgaben.

My goals, my tasks.

Und ich sehe meinen Alltag.

And I see my everyday life.

Und spätestens mit Kindern merke ich...

And at the latest with children, I realize...

Das geht nicht.

That doesn't work.

Und dann kommt die Frage, aus welcher Kraft will ich leben?

And then the question arises, from what strength do I want to live?

Aus welcher Kraft will ich leben?

From which power do I want to live?

Aus welcher Kraft soll ich das überhaupt schaffen?

From what strength am I supposed to manage that at all?

Meine Kraft?

My strength?

Nicht.

Not.

Meine Kraft reicht doch nicht mal aus, um den Alltag zu bewältigen.

My strength is not even enough to cope with everyday life.

Oder will ich aus seiner Kraft leben?

Or do I want to live from his strength?

Er verspricht ja, dass er mir Kraft geben will.

He promises that he wants to give me strength.

Und nicht aus Heer oder Kraft, sondern mit seinem Geist soll das alles passieren.

And not by might or power, but with his Spirit shall all this happen.

Und ich merke, dass ich abhängig von Gott bin.

And I realize that I am dependent on God.

Und ich merke, dass es eine Entscheidung ist.

And I realize that it is a decision.

Ich will abhängig von Gott sein.

I want to be dependent on God.

Ich hole schon mal den Stift raus.

I'm already getting the pen out.

Ich sehe schon fast ein Opfer.

I can already see almost a victim.

Ich will abhängig von Gott sein.

I want to be dependent on God.

Das ist eine Entscheidung.

That is a decision.

Und das musst auch du treffen.

And you have to take that as well.

Willst du es aus eigener Kraft versuchen?

Do you want to try it on your own?

Oder willst du abhängig von Gott sein?

Or do you want to be dependent on God?

Es beginnt damit, dass ich mein Leben hundertprozentig abnehme.

It starts with me losing my life one hundred percent.

Dass ich sage, hier, da hast du es.

That I say, here, there you have it.

Mach du. Ich kann das nicht.

You do it. I can't do that.

Lebensübergabe.

Transfer of life.

Ich empfange das neue Leben.

I receive the new life.

Ich empfange das aus Kraft.

I receive this with strength.

Ich will das haben.

I want to have that.

Und das mache ich täglich neu.

And I do that anew every day.

Jesus entscheidet sich, nicht aus eigener Kraft zu leben,

Jesus chooses not to live by his own power.

sondern sagt, ich mache nichts.

but says, I do nothing.

Sondern nur das, was ich den Vater tun sehe, das tue ich.

But only what I see the Father doing, that I do.

Ich bin abhängig von Gott.

I am dependent on God.

Nicht ohne ihn.

Not without him.

Das sagt er.

That is what he says.

Und das ist echte Nachfolge.

And that is true discipleship.

Bewusst nur das zu tun, was er den Vater tun sieht.

Consciously doing only what he sees the Father doing.

Also, was Gott ihm sagt, mach das.

So, what God tells him, do that.

Und wie kann das praktisch aussehen?

And how can that look in practice?

Auch da gibt der Text Hinweise.

The text also provides clues.

Früher habe ich immer gedacht, das wäre so,

I used to always think that it was like this,

ihr kennt doch diese Stellen, es ist noch total dunkel,

you know these places, it's still completely dark,

die Jünger pennen noch, Jesus morgens früh,

the disciples are still sleeping, Jesus early in the morning,

zuck, zuck, zuck, auf irgendeinen Hügel rauf

Zip, zap, zip, up some hill.

und betet stundenlang.

and prays for hours.

Betet da, empfängt da, To-Do-Listen.

Pray there, receive there, to-do lists.

Der Herr sagt, hey, was ist das?

The Lord says, hey, what is that?

Hey, heute ist dran, Bergpredigt, Thema, dies, das, Dings, dann Bums.

Hey, today is the turn, Sermon on the Mount, topic, this, that, thing, then boom.

Und red langsam, weil es sind viele da, langsam und laut.

And speak slowly, because there are many people here, slowly and loudly.

Und dann arbeitet er so seine To-Do-Liste ab.

And then he works his way through his to-do list.

So habe ich das früher gedacht.

That's how I used to think.

Und deshalb hat er ja so viel Zeit in dem Gebet verbracht,

And that is why he spent so much time in prayer,

damit er halt irgendwie von Gott diese Weisung bekommt.

so that he somehow receives this instruction from God.

Und heute, denke ich, ist das total anders.

And today, I think, it is completely different.

Er ist viel angewiesener in jedem Schritt vom Heiligen Geist.

He is much more reliant on the Holy Spirit in every step.

Und ohne ihn klappt nichts.

And without him, nothing works.

Ich glaube, dass diese Führung Gottes viel spontaner ist, viel direkter.

I believe that this guidance from God is much more spontaneous, much more direct.

Und je reiner,

And the purer,

desto reifer wir werden,

the more mature we become,

desto abhängiger sollten wir uns von Gott machen.

the more dependent we should become on God.

Und auf diese direkte, spontane Leitung Gottes achten.

And pay attention to this direct, spontaneous guidance of God.

Es beginnt mit dieser bewussten Entscheidung.

It starts with this conscious decision.

Und natürlich ist es gut, den Willen Gottes zu tun, einfach zu machen.

And of course, it is good to do the will of God, to keep it simple.

Wenn er drin steht,

If he is inside,

legt die Kranken die Hände auf, dann macht er es halt.

He lays his hands on the sick, then he'll just do it.

So, brauchen wir jetzt nicht, soll ich das tun?

Und dann geht es weiter.

Die zwei wichtigen Schritte im Text.

Das zweite ist Gottes Werke sehen.

The second is to see God's works.

Ich tue, was ich den Vater tun sehe.

I do what I see the Father doing.

Ich mache, was ich sehe.

I do what I see.

Hier spricht der Heilige Geist spontan.

Here the Holy Spirit speaks spontaneously.

Und das dritte ist dann, diese Werke auch zu tun.

Also, abhängig, Gottes Werke sehen, Gottes Werke tun.

Also, dependent, see God's works, do God's works.

Denn das Gleiche tut, sagt Jesus, gleicherweise auch der Sohn.

For the Son does the same, Jesus says.

Wenn ich sehe, dass Gott etwas tun will,

When I see that God wants to do something,

dann bin ich bereit, das zu machen.

Then I am ready to do that.

Diese Haltung lässt ihn so viel erleben.

This attitude allows him to experience so much.

Und jetzt, wie kann das jetzt genau aussehen?

And now, what could that look like exactly?

Ich kann sehen, was Gott tut.

I can see what God is doing.

Obwohl Gott unsichtbar ist.

Although God is invisible.

Wir haben es schon besprochen.

We have already discussed it.

Jesus sagt, meine Schafe hören meine Stimme und ich kenne sie und sie folgen mir.

Jesus says, my sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

Folgen kannst du nur, wenn du hörst, verstehst, das ist der Richtige und dann gehst du hinterher.

You can only follow if you listen, understand that this is the right one, and then you go after them.

Du musst ja irgendwie hören oder sehen.

You must be able to hear or see somehow.

Du musst wahrnehmen, was zu tun ist.

You need to perceive what needs to be done.

Sonst kannst du nicht folgen.

Und das ist ein Versprechen.

Das gibt jedem Schaf, also dir.

Und vertrauen.

Und das fällt mir nicht immer leicht, weil diese Stimme halt wirklich klein und leise ist.

Wenn das eine Frau ist, Herr, gibt es was, womit ich sie segnen soll?

Oder wo ich was verbeten soll?

Or where should I forbid something?

Und dann kommt mir was in den Sinn.

Jetzt drehe ich mich um.

Und wenn ich mutig bin, dann kann ich die Dame ansprechen und für sie beten.

Und wenn du natürlich nicht mutig bist, dann kannst du es ja für dich tun.

And if you're not brave, then you can do it for yourself.

Und sagen, okay, Gott, in dir drin, leise.

And say, okay, God, inside you, quietly.

Gott, bitte segne ihre Kinder.

God, please bless their children.

Ich glaube, dass du das jetzt tun willst.

I believe that you want to do this now.

So übe ich manchmal.

Dann setze ich mich da vorne hin.

Folge diesen Impulsen.

Und ich glaube, je häufiger du das machst, desto besser wird das klappen.

And I believe that the more often you do it, the better it will work.

Und wenn die Impulse von Gott kommen, dann mach es.

Do.

Wenn du nicht...

If you don't...

Stell dir mal vor, du sagst Gott, sag mir, was ich tun soll.

Imagine you say to God, tell me what to do.

Und Gott sagt, bete für die Frau, die hinter dir in der Schlange steht.

And God says, pray for the woman who is standing behind you in line.

Segne sie und ihre Kinder und die Beziehung dazu.

Bless her and her children and the relationship with them.

Du kriegst jetzt eine ganz klare Ansage von Gott.

You are now receiving a very clear message from God.

Hu.

Hu.

Dann sagst du, boah, nee, das traue ich mich nicht.

Then you say, wow, no, I don't dare to do that.

Nee, schaffe ich nicht.

No, I can't manage that.

So.

So.

Okay.

Okay.

Ist gut.

Die Frau ist weg.

The woman is gone.
