und hat da eine Reporterin eingeladen, die interessiert sich eigentlich gar nicht so schrecklich für die Rakete,

was sein berühmter Vater gemacht hat und der hat irgendwas, hat irgendeine berühmte Ausgrabung gemacht oder so.

Auf jeden Fall ist er verschollen, seit 18 Jahren verschollt.

Klassisches Coin-Interface, mega coole Sprachausgabe schon drin, sehr geiles Audiodesign, also es ist irgendwie wunderbar angegeben.

Classic coin interface, super cool voice output included, very cool audio design, so it is somehow wonderfully displayed.

Ist insgesamt seit, ja, ich glaube zehn Jahren in Entwicklung gewesen.

It has been in development for, yes, I believe ten years in total.

Es hat sich mehrfach viel, viel geändert.

A lot has changed many, many times.

Wir waren von Anfang an auf der Unity-Entwicklung.

We were focused on Unity development from the very beginning.

Das war ein bisschen Glück für sie.

That was a bit of luck for her.

Trotzdem natürlich über zehn Jahre Entwicklungszeit unglaubliche Probleme, wenn dann irgendwelche Plugins nicht mehr funktionieren oder irgendwelche neuen Funktionen bei Unity hinzukommen.

Nevertheless, after more than ten years of development time, there are incredible problems when certain plugins stop working or when new features are added in Unity.

Sie mussten teilweise, weil sie auf dem iPad 2 mit der Entwicklung angefangen haben und dann später halt irgendwie, da hatten sie ja nicht so viel Speicherplatz,

They had to, partly because they started development on the iPad 2 and then later, well, they didn't have that much storage space.

dann mussten sie dann später, als es dann an die Umsetzung ging, dann alle Grafiken nochmal hochskalieren.

Then they had to upscale all the graphics again later when it came to the implementation.

Dann haben sie angefangen, haben sich gedacht, ja, wir wollen noch Close-Ups haben.

Then they started, thinking, yes, we want to have close-ups as well.

Das heißt, sie mussten nochmal in die Grafiken reinzoomen.

That means they had to zoom back into the graphics.

Dann mussten sie es wieder alles hochskalieren.

Then they had to upscale everything again.

Also es sind viele, viele Dinge immer wieder neu gemacht worden.

So many, many things have been newly made again and again.

Es sind unglaublich viele Animationen auch drin.

There are an incredible number of animations in there as well.

Das ist schon toll gemacht.

Und sieht auch wirklich fertig aus.

Also ich bin relativ sicher, dass das Licht der Welt erblicken wird für die Öffentlichkeit.

Erstmal zum generellen Spielkonzept.

First of all, about the general game concept.

Es geht um ein Dorf und die 14 Personen, die darin wohnen.

Es ereignet sich ein schwerer Schicksalsschlag für eine Familie, die Teil dieses Dorfes ist und das betrifft auch das ganze übrige Dorf.

A severe setback occurs for a family that is part of this village, and it affects the entire surrounding village as well.

Jetzt geht es darum, dass dieser Schicksalsschlag von allen entsprechend verarbeitet wird.

Now it is about ensuring that this stroke of fate is processed appropriately by everyone.

Dass alle auf sich Acht geben.

That everyone takes care of themselves.

Sich gegenseitig helfen, heilen und das Dorf eine funktionierende Gemeinschaft bleibt, obwohl es diese externen Faktoren gibt, die es auseinandertreiben.

Wie funktioniert das Spiel?

How does the game work?

Man spielt in einer großen Übersicht.

One plays in a large overview.

Man kann sich so ein bisschen vorstellen wie Black and White.

You can imagine it a bit like Black and White.

Man schwebt über dem Dorf, kann in Gebäude rein und raus und man kann einzelnen Personen Anweisungen geben oder Impulse geben.

One hovers over the village, can go in and out of buildings, and can give individual people instructions or impulses.

Man kann niemanden direkt steuern.

You can't directly control anyone.

Und das Spiel beginnt damit, dass man die Kontrolle, Kontrolle ist schon zu viel gesagt, dass man einem Mädchen Impulse geben kann.

Dann hat es für mich auch einen großen Wiederspielwert.

Und allein diese Innovation, wie diese Geschichte erzählt wird, finde ich fantastisch.

Dann finde ich es wirklich gut geschrieben.

Then I really think it is well written.

Es sind tolle Dialoge.

They are great dialogues.

Alle diese 14 Charaktere haben ihren Tagesablauf, machen bestimmte Dinge.

All of these 14 characters have their daily routines and do specific things.

Also es macht allein schon Freude, ihnen zuzugucken.

It is already a joy to watch them.

Was machen die?

What are they doing?

Wie stehen die zueinander?

How do they relate to each other?

Denn am Anfang weiß man sehr wenig über das Dorf und über die Dinge, die die einzelnen Personen tun und wie sie sich unterhalten, erfährt man immer mehr über die Zusammenarbeit.

At the beginning, one knows very little about the village and about the things that the individual people do, and how they communicate; one learns more and more about the cooperation.

Die Zusammenhänge, die Vergangenheit, ihre Probleme und Wünsche und allein dieses Detektivische ist schon ein sehr hübsches Element und es erspart vollständig diese Exposition-Dialog-Krankheit fast schon, würde ich sagen.

The connections, the past, their problems and wishes, and just this detective-like element is already a very nice aspect and it almost completely spares one from this exposition-dialogue sickness, I would say.

Also wenn sich zwei Charaktere unterhalten, nur damit den Spielerinnen und Spielern irgendwas vermittelt wird an Infos, aber dieses Gespräch ist nicht realistisch, weil beide Parts wissen ja das von jeweils anderen.

So when two characters are talking just to convey some information to the players, but this conversation is not realistic because both parties already know that from each other.

Das ergibt sich hier überhaupt nicht.

That does not follow at all here.

Einfach, weil diese Welt...

Simply because this world...

Schon da ist und alleine vor sich hinläuft und man muss dann selber seine Schlüsse ziehen.

Already there and walking alone, and one must then draw their own conclusions.

Ich bin, wie gesagt, jetzt schon viereinhalb Stunden drin und ich kann schon mit großer Sicherheit sagen, ich werde nicht das beste Ende erwischen, weil ich ein bisschen Zeug versemmelt habe.

Macht aber nichts, weil ich werde es definitiv dann nochmal eine zweite Runde spielen und nochmal bessere Entscheidungen treffen und besser mit der Zeit managen, weil das ist auch so ein großer Punkt bei diesem Spiel.

But that's okay, because I will definitely play it again for a second round and make better decisions and manage my time better, because that's also a big point in this game.

Der Tag hat begrenzte Stunden, irgendwann gehen alle ins Bett und dann war's.

Man muss sich also gut überlegen, welche Impulse man denn über den Tag setzen möchte.

So if you imagine that you have just suffered an incredible loss, then you would speak differently.

Man könnte auch besser reagieren.

Im Englischen ist es deutlich stabiler.

In English, it is significantly more stable.

Da kommt das Voice-Acting besser hin.

The voice acting is better there.

Und auch die Texte finde ich im Englischen ein bisschen besser.

Ich finde, man merkt hier ein wenig das Spiel, obwohl es von einem deutschen Team ist, auf Englisch geschrieben wurde und dann in Anführungsstrichen nur übersetzt.

I think you can tell a bit that the game was written in English, even though it is by a German team, and then merely translated in quotation marks.

Es wurde hervorragend übersetzt, es passt alles, aber es wurde nicht lokalisiert.

It was excellently translated, everything fits, but it was not localized.

Es war wohl nicht genug Zeit da, um da tatsächlich etwas mehr Literarisches reinzubringen in den Text.

Der Deutsche ist halt dann einfach nur in Anführungsstrichen eine Übersetzung des Englischen und wirkt dadurch ein bisschen platter.

Also deswegen fand ich und spiele ich jetzt nach wie vor auch auf Englisch, weil es mir ein Stück besser gefällt in dieser Sprache.

That's why I found and still play in English, because I prefer it a bit more in that language.

Das heißt aber nicht, dass es auf Deutsch nicht funktioniert.

That doesn't mean it doesn't work in German.

Es ist alles wunderbar und es ist Kritik auf wirklich sehr hohem Niveau.

Die Grundkonzeption der Story finde ich nett.
