Wie war der Sommer? Wir haben uns lange nicht mehr, also gesehen haben wir uns wahrscheinlich schon öfter, aber im Kino waren wir lange nicht mehr.

Ja, das sind ein paar Wochen gewesen, der Sommer war okay.

Ja, siehste und jetzt wird es wieder kalt, da kommen wir auch wieder ins Kino und schon arbeiten wir wieder ein bisschen was ab, nämlich Toy Story 4, der Kenner weiß Animationen und das von Pixar und vielleicht erstmal von der technischen Seite, optisch alles wieder grandios, oder?

Ja, so grandios, dass es fast nicht auffällt, es ist wie normal, möchte ich fast sagen, diese Art und Weise und dass es einfach ein gut gemachter Film ist, auf der gleichen Art und Weise, mit dem gleichen Qualität wie sonst auch.

Ja, genau, also damit kommen wir auch schon zum Inhaltlichen, also vielleicht erstmal technisch, ich fand es sehr beeindruckend, allein schon diese Regenszenen am Anfang und die Straßen, ich habe das Gefühl, sie müssen jetzt schon langsam anfangen, künstlich die Sachen ein bisschen auf künstlich zu machen, damit es nicht zu echt aussieht, also auch dieser Jahrmarkt und so, also das sind, oder auch Porzellinchen, die Gesichtszüge, habe ich das Gefühl, da haben sie nochmal eine Schippe draufgelegt, also das sieht nochmal deutlich interessanter nochmal aus, obwohl ich habe es nicht im Vergleich, aber das sieht einfach, man weiß nicht, wie es noch besser gehen soll, technisch wahrscheinlich.

Yes, exactly, so that brings us to the content, maybe first technically, I found it very impressive, just those rain scenes at the beginning and the streets, I feel like they must already start to artificially make things a bit artificial, so it doesn't look too real, like the carnival and so on, or even the porcelain figures, the facial features, I feel like they've really upped their game there, it looks significantly more interesting, although I don't have a comparison, but it just looks, you don't know how it could be better, technically probably.

Es ist einfach normal inzwischen, also ich würde fast sagen, es sieht genauso aus, wenn man sich das vorstellt, wie es einfach sein müsste und ich wüsste auch tatsächlich nicht, wie es noch besser sein sollte, aber das so, wie es jetzt ist, ist echt, also ist technisch echt richtig gut.

It's just normal by now, so I would almost say it looks exactly as one would imagine it should be, and I really wouldn't know how it could be any better, but the way it is now is really, technically very good.

Und damit kommen wir zum Film selber, es geht natürlich wieder darum, wir haben Spielzeuge, wir haben wieder Woody, wir haben eigentlich alle bekannten Darsteller, hätte ich beinahe gesagt, also die Figuren, Porzellinchen, es gibt ein paar neue dabei und es geht darum, dass natürlich wieder ein Besitzer,

And with that, we come to the film itself. It's of course about toys again, we have Woody back, we basically have all the familiar characters, I could almost say, including the porcelain doll. There are a few new ones, and it's about a new owner, of course.

Spielzeugs langsam neue Interessen entwickelt, vielleicht andere Spielzeuge etwas lieber mag und da gibt es dann ein paar Verwicklungen drum, wir wollen da vielleicht auch nicht zu viel erzählen, vielleicht erstmal, ein richtiger Kinderfilm ist nicht, oder? Also diese Chucky-Figur, die fand ich doch, die ja mehrfach drin vorkommt, da muss man selbst als Erwachsener manchmal ein bisschen schlucken.

The toy slowly develops new interests, maybe prefers some other toys a bit more, and then there are a few complications around that. We might not want to tell too much about it, perhaps first of all, it's not a proper children's movie, is it? So that Chucky figure, which appears multiple times, I found that, even as an adult, you sometimes have to swallow a bit.

Also das ist wirklich kein Kinderfilm, also ab zwölf vielleicht, würde ich mal sagen, also das ist schon wirklich nicht ohne, was da rüberkommt und die Art und Weise ist auch einfach düster.

So that's really not a children's film, maybe from twelve onwards, I would say, it's definitely not easy what comes across, and the way it is presented is simply dark.

Also es ist, diese Figur, also ich finde sie aber ziemlich geil, also das auch mit diesem, es gibt noch so eine Puppe, die dann für diese Chucky's da sozusagen so der Meister ist und das ist schon eine Konstellation, die einfach so gruselig ist und so aber cool gruselig, ich fand die cool, aber es gibt sehr, sehr viele coole Sachen wieder da drin.

So it is, this figure, I think it's pretty awesome, and also with this, there is another doll that is sort of the master for these Chuckys, and it's a configuration that is just so creepy but also cool creepy. I thought it was cool, but there are a lot of really cool things in there again.

Es ist allerdings auch nicht ständig ein Schenkelklopfer, also es ist viel auf Story und Rührseligkeit auch.

However, it is not constantly a knee-slapper; there is also a lot of emphasis on story and sentimentality.

Genau, also das auf jeden Fall, er ist mehr Story getrieben, er ist mehr Liebe getrieben und er hat die Leichtigkeit, die ich mal behaupten würde, in den, zumindest Nummer eins natürlich auf jeden Fall hatte, weil die Geschichte neu war, hat er nicht mehr.

Exactly, so that for sure, he is more story-driven, he is more driven by love, and he has the lightness that I would claim was definitely present in the first one, at least because the story was new, but he doesn't have that anymore.

Also da ist es auch kein, ja es ist ein Erwachsener, ein Erwachsener-Kinderfilm, würde ich mal fast sagen, also das ist schon nicht mehr so, ja es ist anders, klar es ist anders, aber ja, wie soll man sagen.

So it's not, yes it's an adult, an adult-children's film, I would almost say, so it's definitely not the same, yes it's different, of course it's different, but yes, how should one put it.

Also man lacht seltener, sondern man nimmt es zur Kenntnis und man, ja, wie soll man sagen, man geht also nicht rein, weil man sich amüsieren möchte.

So one laughs less often; instead, one takes note of it and, well, how should one put it, one doesn't really engage because one wants to be entertained.

Aber es ist schon viel zum Lachen auch, also finde ich, also gerade auch dieses Porzellinchen, die sich ja dann nachher Freiheitskämpferin, weil wir wollen nicht zu spoilern, aber.

Und sie haben wieder wirklich diesen, diesen Händchen für skurrile Figuren, also neben denen, die wir gerade eben schon erwähnt haben, kommen noch ein paar neue dazu, insbesondere auch so ein Stuntman, der auch, finde ich, sehr gut gelungen ist in seiner Art.

And they really have that knack for quirky characters again; in addition to those we just mentioned, a few new ones are added, especially a stuntman who I think is also very well done in his own way.

Es kommen immer mal wieder so kleine Randfiguren vor, von denen man sich, also zum Beispiel so eine Eintreiftruppe da oder diese, diese, diese Kämpfer, die da sind.

There are always little peripheral figures that appear, like, for example, a group of infiltrators or these, these, these fighters that are there.

Ja, ja, ja.

Und auch, auch Barbies kurz am Anfang wieder und so, es sind so viele Kleinigkeiten, aber dazwischen natürlich auch ruhigere Szenen und wirklich auch lustig, nicht nur lustig, sondern eben auch eine Story, die, wenn man so will, natürlich rührselig ist, aber eigentlich auch ganz interessant, ja.

And also, Barbie’s short moments at the beginning and so on, there are so many little details, but in between, of course, there are also quieter scenes and really funny ones, not just funny, but also a story that, if you will, is certainly sentimental, but actually quite interesting, yes.

Und mir hat das zu sehr auf die Tränendose gedrückt, auch mit dem, weißt du, klar, es soll irgendwie ein Kinderfilm sein, aber dafür fehlte mir einfach was von dem Ursprungsspaß an dem Film.

And it pressed too much on my tear duct, also with the, you know, sure, it should somehow be a children's film, but for that, I simply missed something of the original fun of the film.

Insofern, ich wüsste auch gar nicht, wie ich dem empfehlen sollte, tatsächlich den Film.

In that regard, I wouldn't even know how I should actually recommend the film.

Also meinen Kindern schon mal definitiv nicht, Erwachsenen irgendwie auch nicht.

So definitely not for my children, and also not really for adults.

Also ich wüsste, die Zielgruppe von diesem Film ist mir nicht klar.

Well, I would know, the target audience of this film is unclear to me.

Aber insofern, sieben Punkte.

Ja gut, aber das ist ja keine so schlechte Wertung.

So, I actually find the sentimental one to be quite something.

Man hält sich fast ein bisschen mehr noch vom Jadwitz.

Da hat man den Jahrmarkt auch gewünscht.

There you wished for the fair too.

Da kann man glaube ich, da gibt es ein paar Verwicklungen vielleicht, die hat man noch, weiß ich nicht.

Aber deswegen, wie du schon sagst, du hast recht.

Kinder, also meinem Sohn würde ich es auf keinen Fall zumuten, auch nicht in zehn Jahren vielleicht.

Ich glaube, wer die Toy-Story-Filme mag und damit auch schon aufgewachsen, wie soll man sagen, älter geworden ist, der wird hier nicht enttäuscht.

I believe that anyone who likes the Toy Story movies and has grown up with them will not be disappointed here.

Also die halten das Niveau technisch und sie halten auch, es ist auf jeden Fall kein Abklatsch oder sowas.

So they maintain the technical level and they also keep it; it's definitely not a knockoff or anything like that.

Es ist ein hohes Niveau, aber es hat, wie gesagt, auch so ein paar Längen.
