Das ist Teil 6. Vertraulichkeit.

An diesem Sonntagmorgen nach einem grossartigen Samstagabend.

On this Sunday morning after a great Saturday night.

Wäre gestern Glück. Come on. Come on.

It would have been luck yesterday. Come on. Come on.

So viel Jubel möchte ich nachher auch noch für Jesus hören.

I would like to hear that much cheer for Jesus afterwards as well.

Nicht nur für die Schweizer Nationalmannschaft oder auch die Deutschen.

Not only for the Swiss national team but also for the Germans.

Je nachdem, wo dein Herz schlägt, der Italiener mir es beileibt.

Depending on where your heart lies, the Italian suits me just fine.

Aber es ist doch grossartig. Mir hat es so richtig gefreut, gestern Fussball zu schauen.

But it's great. I really enjoyed watching football yesterday.

Und was mich auch sehr gefreut hat, und ich weiss nicht, ob das...

And what also pleased me very much, and I don't know if that...

Wer das noch mitbekommen hat, es gab ein Interview mit Ruben Vargas.

For those who haven't seen it, there was an interview with Ruben Vargas.

Das Erste, was er sagt, wenn man ihm das Mikrofon vor den Mund hält, ist,

The first thing he says when you hold the microphone in front of his mouth is,

«Ich möchte einfach Danke sagen, meinem Vater im Himmel, Jesus Christus, für diesen Moment.»

"I just want to say thank you to my Father in Heaven, Jesus Christ, for this moment."

Grossartig, oder?

Great, isn't it?

Das ist es, was wir mehr brauchen.

That is what we need more of.

Und er hat nicht nur einen Stellpass gegeben zum 1-0 und nicht nur zum Goal geschossen zum 2-0,

And he not only provided an assist for the 1-0, but also scored the goal for the 2-0.

sondern auch eine Vorlage für mich, heute Morgen.

but also a template for me, this morning.

Oder?

Or?

Um das geht es.

That's what it's about.

Glauben ist nicht, wie vermeintlich immer wieder gesagt, Privatsache.

Belief is not, as is supposedly often said, a private matter.

Glauben lebt davon, dass man ihn teilt und dass man ihn in der Gemeinschaft auslebt.

Faith thrives on being shared and being lived out in community.

Und das ist völlig das, warum wir diese Reihe «Unterwegs gemeinschaftlich glauben»,

And that is exactly why we have this series "Believing Together on the Way."

weil wir überzeugt sind, es braucht es, dass wir zusammen unterwegs sind.

because we are convinced that it is necessary for us to be on this journey together.

Und dass das Glauben vorwiegend dort wirklich auch sich entwickeln kann, wo man zusammen unterwegs ist.

And that faith can mainly develop where people are on the journey together.

Und darum die Serie, die wir angefangen haben und heute abschliessen werden,

And that's why the series we started and will finish today,

weil wir noch das Gefühl haben, und da bin ich wirklich leider davon überzeugt,

because we still have the feeling, and I am unfortunately truly convinced of that,

dass wir in unserer Gemeinde, der Bethel-Gemeinde, dort ein Defizit haben,

that we have a deficit in our community, the Bethel community, there,

im gemeinschaftlichen Glauben, im Zusammenglauben, im Miteinander-Glauben,

in communal faith, in collective faith, in mutual faith,

im Teilen, im Zusammen-Unterwegs-Sein.

in sharing, in being on the way together.

Und darum die Predigserie, die wir heute abschliessen werden.

And that's why the sermon series we will be concluding today.

Wir werden heute aber auch einen Unterabschluss haben, im zweiten Teil des Gottesdienstes.

However, we will also have a closing in the second part of the service today.

Unter ist der biblische Unterricht, den wir mit den Teenies haben.

Below is the biblical instruction we have with the teens.

Und es sind einige von denen jetzt da, natürlich die, die abschliessen.

And some of them are here now, of course those who are graduating.

Ich bin drei Jahre mit diesen Unter-Teenies unterwegs gewesen.

I have been with these pre-teens for three years.

Drei Jahre haben wir uns immer wieder mal getroffen.

We have met from time to time over the past three years.

Und die Beziehung zueinander hat sich verändert.

And the relationship with one another has changed.

Wir sind uns irgendwo durch einen Vertrauter.

We are connected through an acquaintance.

Unsere Gespräche sind andere geworden.

Our conversations have changed.

Und genau das ist das, was wir meinen.

And that is exactly what we mean.

Und wenn heute jetzt ein Unterabschluss ist, ist es zwar ein Abschluss,

And if there's a lower closure today, it is indeed a closure,

aber nicht von der Beziehung und auch gar nicht vom Glaubensweg.

but not from the relationship and also not from the path of faith.

Sondern das geht weiter.

But it continues.

Und teilweise wird er gemeinsam sein und teilweise wird er mit anderen sein.

And sometimes he will be together with others and sometimes he will be alone.

Aber ich hoffe und ich bete, dass es nicht alleine ist, sondern dass es mit anderen zusammen stattfinden kann.

But I hope and I pray that it will not happen alone, but that it can take place together with others.

Weil das ist mir so ein grosses Anliegen.

Because this is such an important concern for me.

Glauben ist immer auch Beziehung.

Faith is always also a relationship.

In erster Linie natürlich mit Gott im Himmel.

Primarily, of course, with God in heaven.

Jesus Christus mit dem Heiligen Geist.

Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit.

Beziehung, ja, aber auch mit anderen Gläubigen.

Relationship, yes, but also with other believers.

Glauben, Gemeinde und echte Nachfolge funktionieren nur dort, wo es gemeinschaftlich gelebt wird.

Faith, community, and true discipleship only work where they are lived out together.

Wir haben in dieser Serie davon gehört, wie wertvoll es ist, wenn man mit anderen zusammen Highlights erleben kann.

In this series, we have heard how valuable it is to experience highlights together with others.

Aber auch, wie man durch Spannungen wachsen kann, auch herausgefordert wird,

But also how one can grow through tensions, also being challenged,

aber auch wachsender innen verändern kann, wird mir angeschaut, wie das Vertrauen ineinander

but can also change growing within, I am looked at how the trust in each other

und in Gott so wertvoll und wichtig ist, in dem Sinne gegenseitige Unterstützung,

and in God so precious and important is, in the sense of mutual support,

Hörens, Gebeten füreinander, Hörens, Füreinander beten, Füreinander tragen, was das Leben halt so bringt.

Listening, praying for one another, listening, praying for each other, carrying what life brings.

Und ich möchte heute abschliessen mit dem Thema,

And I would like to conclude today with the topic,

Vertraulichkeit.

Confidentiality.

Ja, das ist ein Aspekt, wenn man gemeinschaftlich glaubt.

Yes, that is an aspect when believing communally.

Und als Pastor bekomme ich ja ganz viele Sachen mit über.

And as a pastor, I get to experience a lot of things.

Auch viel Persönliches.

Also a lot of personal things.

In Sitzungen, in Gebettstreffen, Gespräche, Heiligungsgebet, Anliegen von Einzelnen, aber auch in Lager, in Weekends und so weiter.

In meetings, in prayer gatherings, conversations, holiness prayers, individual concerns, but also in camps, weekends, and so on.

Da wird mir einiges anvertraut.

A lot is being entrusted to me.

Und ich habe mir gedacht, ich blöde einfach mal aus dem Neukästchen,

And I thought to myself, I'll just get creative from the new box.

so dass alle ein wenig informiert sind.

so that everyone is a little informed.

Dann können wir ein wenig zusammen glauben, dann sind wir zusammen unterwegs.

Then we can believe a little together, then we are on the way together.

Und ich fange jetzt vielleicht gleich mit unserem Gemeindeleiter an.

And I might as well start with our parish leader now.

Hast du gewusst, dass Michael...

Did you know that Michael...

Ich sage jetzt sicher nichts.

I'm definitely not saying anything now.

Wenn du jetzt ernsthaft das Gefühl hattest, ich sage irgendetwas über Michael oder sonst irgendjemand,

If you seriously felt that I was saying anything about Michael or anyone else,

sicher nicht.

certainly not.

Genau das würde ja alles ruinieren.

Exactly that would ruin everything.

Genau das wäre ja das Problem, oder?

Exactly that would be the problem, wouldn't it?

Wir sehen, wie entscheidend wichtig Vertraulichkeit ist.

We see how critically important confidentiality is.

Wir alle brauchen Menschen um uns herum, bei denen wir Sachen anvertrauen können.

We all need people around us to whom we can confide things.

Und bei denen wir die Gewissheit haben, dass sie auch dort bleiben.

And with those we are certain will stay there as well.

Und wir wollen schauen, ob das etwas ist, wo wir das Gefühl haben, dass wir es brauchen.

And we want to see if this is something that we feel we need.

Oder ob das wirklich etwas ist, was biblisch ist.

Or whether this is really something that is biblical.

Und wir haben uns in dieser Serie immer wieder daran orientiert, was Jesus gemacht hat.

And we have always oriented ourselves in this series to what Jesus did.

Wie war er mit seinen Jüngern gemeinschaftlich unterwegs?

How was he traveling communally with his disciples?

Und es gibt in der Evangelie ein paar Passagen, die herausstechen.

And there are a few passages in the Gospel that stand out.

Und drei davon möchte ich mit euch anschauen.

And I would like to take a look at three of them with you.

Und immer wieder die gleichen Fragen stellen.

And asking the same questions over and over again.

Wieso brauche ich überhaupt so eine Vertrauensbeziehung?

Why do I need such a trusting relationship at all?

Oder so Vertrauensbeziehungen?

Or are there trust relationships?

Wieso ist das so wertvoll?

Why is that so valuable?

Was hat da drin Platz?

What fits in there?

Aber dann auch die Frage, wie entsteht das?

But then also the question, how does that happen?

Wie entsteht Vertraulichkeit?

How does confidentiality arise?

Und letztlich müssen wir bei uns anfangen.

And ultimately, we need to start with ourselves.

Wie werden wir?

How will we become?

Wie werde ich zu so einer Vertrauensperson?

How do I become such a trusted person?

Und ich möchte es so machen, dass wir einfach mal drei Szenen aus der Evangelie zusammen anschauen.

And I would like to do it in a way that we simply look at three scenes from the Gospel together.

Ohne grossen Kommentar ringsherum.

Without much comment all around.

Sondern dass wir nachher anhand dieser Thematik anschauen.

But that we will look at this topic afterwards.

Und wir fangen an mit einer Szene aus Matthäus 17.

And we begin with a scene from Matthew 17.

Die Verse 1-9.

The verses 1-9.

Die hat übrigens Blätter auf dem Sitz.

Aber es hilft manchmal, die Bibel wieder einmal in der Hand zu haben.

But sometimes it helps to have the Bible in hand again.

Darum Matthäus 17, die Verse 1-9.

Therefore Matthew 17, verses 1-9.

Es ist die Thematik von der Verklärung oder Verherrlichung von Jesus.

It is the theme of the transfiguration or glorification of Jesus.

Steigen wir einfach mal rein.

Let's just dive in.

Sechs Tage später nahm Jesus Petrus, Jakobus und dessen Bruder Johannes mit sich und stieg mit ihnen auf einen hohen Berg, wo sie allein waren.

Six days later, Jesus took Peter, James, and his brother John with him and went up a high mountain where they were alone.

Dort veränderte sich vor ihren Augen sein Aussehen.

There, his appearance changed before her eyes.

Sein Gesicht begann zu leuchten wie die Sonne und seine Kleider wurden strahlend weiss wie das Licht.

His face began to shine like the sun and his clothes became dazzling white like the light.

Auf einmal erschienen Mose und Elia.

Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared.

Die Jünger sahen, wie die beiden mit Jesus redeten.

The disciples saw how the two were speaking with Jesus.

Da ergriff Petrus das Wort.

Then Peter took the floor.

Herr, sagte er zu Jesus, wie gut ist es, dass wir hier sind.

Lord, he said to Jesus, how good it is that we are here.

Wenn du willst, werde ich hier drei Hütten bauen.

If you want, I will build three huts here.

Eine für dich, eine für Mose und eine für Elia.

One for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

Während er noch redete, kam plötzlich eine leuchtend helle Wolke und warf ihren Schatten auf sie.

While he was still speaking, a suddenly bright cloud appeared and cast its shadow over them.

Und aus der Wolke sprach eine Stimme.

And a voice spoke from the cloud.

Dies ist mein geliebter Sohn.

This is my beloved son.

An ihm habe ich Freude und auf ihn sollt ihr hören.

In him I have joy, and you should listen to him.

Die Stimme versetzte die Jünger so sehr in Schrecken, dass sie sich zu Boden warfen mit dem Gesicht zur Erde.

The voice frightened the disciples so much that they fell to the ground with their faces to the earth.

Jesus aber trat zu ihnen, berührte sie und sagte, steht auf, ihr braucht euch nicht zu fürchten.

But Jesus came to them, touched them, and said, "Get up, you don't need to be afraid."

Und als sie aufblickten, sahen sie niemand mehr ausser Jesus.

And when they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.

Während sie den Berg hinunterstiegen, sagte Jesus zu den drei Jüngern,

As they were descending the mountain, Jesus said to the three disciples,

sprecht mit niemandem über das, was ihr gesehen habt, bis der Menschensohn, also er selber, von den Toten auferstanden.

Do not speak to anyone about what you have seen until the Son of Man, that is, he himself, has risen from the dead.

Die zweite Szene hat mit der Tochter von Jairus zu tun.

The second scene has to do with the daughter of Jairus.

Jesus wird nämlich von einem Mann namens Jairus gebeten, zu kommen.

Jesus is asked to come by a man named Jairus.

Seine Tochter war schwer, schwer krank.

His daughter was seriously, seriously ill.

Und Jesus ging mit, wurde aber noch aufgeholt unterwegs.

And Jesus went along, but was caught up with on the way.

Es gab so viele Leute, die auch etwas von Jesus wollten.

There were so many people who also wanted something from Jesus.

Und das hat natürlich das Ganze verzögert.

And that has of course delayed everything.

Und irgendwann kamen die Leute zu Jairus und sagten, Jairus, deine Tochter ist zu spät.

And at some point, the people came to Jairus and said, Jairus, your daughter is too late.

Sie ist gestorben.

She has died.

Du musst Jesus nicht mehr belästigen.

You don't have to bother Jesus anymore.

Es bringt nicht auf ihn zu warten.

It's not worth waiting for him.

Sie ist tot.

She is dead.

Und Jesus ermutigte ihn, einfach weiter zu glauben.

And Jesus encouraged him to just keep believing.

Und so ging Jesus dann mit dem Petrus, dem Jakobus und dem Johannes und mit den Eltern des Damaischi in das Zimmer durch die Türen zu, hinter sich.

And so Jesus went with Peter, James, and John, and with the parents of the girl, into the room, closing the doors behind him.

Und draussen begannen die Leute schon, Tote zu klagen.

And outside, people were already beginning to mourn the dead.

Dann hat man laut gerannt und Lieder gesungen, traurige Klagelieder.

Then they ran loudly and sang songs, sad lament songs.

Und diese Leute haben auch Jesus ausgelacht, weil er gesagt hatte, ich schlafe nur.

And these people also laughed at Jesus because he said, I am only sleeping.

Und Jesus zog sich durch die Hände zu, nahm den Mädchen in die Hand und sagte, stange auf, Mädchen.

And Jesus took her by the hand and said, "Get up, girl."

Und sie ist aufgestanden und sie hat wieder gelebt.

And she has gotten up and she has lived again.

Und Jesus hat allen verboten, weiter zu erzählen, was jetzt passiert ist.

And Jesus has prohibited everyone from continuing to tell what has just happened.

Das ist die zweite Szene.

This is the second scene.

Und jetzt gehen wir noch in die dritte.

And now we're going to the third one.

Matthäus 26, drei Versen.

Matthew 26, three verses.

Und das ist eine Story, die passiert ist, kurz bevor Jesus gefangen genommen wurde und dann er am Kreuz gekreuzigt wurde in Golgatha am Karfreitag.

And this is a story that happened just before Jesus was arrested and then crucified on the cross at Golgotha on Good Friday.

Jesus kam mit seinen Jüngern an eine Stelle am Ölberg, die Gethsemane genannt wird.

Jesus came with his disciples to a place on the Mount of Olives called Gethsemane.

Dort sagt er zu ihnen, setzt euch hier und wartet.

There he says to them, sit here and wait.

Ich gehe noch ein Stück weiter, um zu beten.

I will go a little further to pray.

Petrus jedoch und die beiden Söhne des Zebedäus, das ist Jakobus und Johannes, nahm er mit.

However, Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, that is, James and John, he took with him.

Traurigkeit und Angst wollten ihn überwältigen.

Sadness and fear wanted to overwhelm him.

Und er sagte zu ihnen, meine Seele ist zu Tode betrübt.

And he said to them, my soul is deeply grieved to the point of death.

Bleibt hier und wacht oder betet mit mir.

Stay here and watch or pray with me.

Mir ist bewusst, dass man zu diesen drei Textstellen je eine ganze Predigt machen könnte, locker.

I am aware that one could easily give an entire sermon on each of these three texts.

Aber ich möchte einfach den Fokus von uns heute behalten auf diesem gemeinschaftlichen Glauben.

But I simply want to keep the focus on our communal faith today.

Auf diesem Zusammen unterwegs sein, auf dieser Vertraulichkeit.

Being on this journey together, in this confidentiality.

Und auf unsere drei Fragen, wieso brauche ich solche Vertrauensbeziehungen?

And to our three questions, why do I need such trust relationships?

Wie entsteht diese Vertraulichkeit?

How does this confidentiality come about?

Und schlussendlich, wie werde ich selber zu einer Vertrauensperson?

And finally, how do I become a trustworthy person myself?

Und wir starten mit dieser Vertrauensbeziehung.

And we start with this relationship of trust.

Warum brauchen wir diese?

Why do we need these?

Jesus und seine drei engsten Jünger.

Jesus and his three closest disciples.

Petrus, Jakobus und Johannes.

Peter, James, and John.

Das sind die Protagonisten in diesen drei Szenen.

These are the protagonists in these three scenes.

Und sie zeigen uns, wie sie diese Vertrauensbeziehung nutzen.

And they show us how they use this trust relationship.

Was machen sie in diesen Momenten, in denen sie zu viert unterwegs sind?

What do you do in those moments when you are out and about as a group of four?

Und ich fasse es mal so zusammen.

And I'll sum it up like this.

Diese Beziehung ist ein Ort geworden, wo Zweifel und Ängste erlaubt waren.

This relationship has become a place where doubts and fears were allowed.

Sie hat Platz bekommen.

She has received a spot.

Es ist ein Ort geworden, wo der ganze Rummel,

It has become a place where all the bustle,

wo jegliche Neugier,

where any curiosity,

aber auch, wo Emotionen

but also where emotions

ein wenig ausgeblendet oder auf die Seite geschoben werden durften.

could be slightly overshadowed or pushed aside.

Es sind Orte geworden, wo dumme Ideen, blöde Fragen und Naivität

They have become places where stupid ideas, silly questions, and naivety

erlaubt waren, ohne dass irgendjemand sie aufs Dach bekam.

they were allowed, without anyone getting on their case.

Und es war ein Ort, wo sie beteten, ohne gross nachzufragen.

And it was a place where they prayed without asking much.

So eine Zusammenfassung.

Such a summary.

Und kurz.

And short.

Du und ich.

You and me.

Wir brauchen Orte, wo wir einfach so darauf los glauben können.

We need places where we can just believe freely.

Weil das sind ja auch so Sachen, wo man darauf los glauben kann.

Because those are things that one can believe in blindly.

Und nicht muss, ja vielleicht sagen wir, konform glauben.

And not necessarily, yes perhaps we say, believe conformingly.

Wir schauen uns das jetzt im Detail an, was ich damit meine.

We will now look at this in detail, what I mean by that.

Wenn wir uns diese drei Szenen anschauen, dann sehen wir,

If we look at these three scenes, we see,

dass Jesus Zweifel und Ängste hatte im Garten Gethsemane.

that Jesus had doubts and fears in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Man kann es ihm nicht verübeln.

One cannot blame him for it.

Er wusste, dass er bald gefangen genommen werden wird.

He knew that he would soon be captured.

Dass er gepeitscht werden wird.

That he will be whipped.

Und gefoltert werden wird.

And will be tortured.

Und gekreuzigt werden wird.

And will be crucified.

Und die Last von den Sünden, von der Schuld, von der ganzen Welt wird auf sich getragen.

And the burden of sins, of guilt, of the whole world is borne.

Logisch hatte er Angst und Zweifel.

Of course he was afraid and had doubts.

Aber wir sehen, er nimmt seine Vertrauenspersonen zu sich.

But we see, he takes his trusted people to him.

Nachdem das alle Jünger im Garten waren, hat er gesagt, diese drei kommen noch mit.

After all the disciples were in the garden, he said, these three will come with me.

Es ist weitergegangen.

It has continued.

Und komm, sie sind gleich weg gewesen.

And look, they were gone in no time.

Wirft er ihnen alles in das Gesicht und sagt, meine Seele ist zu Tode betrübt.

He throws everything in their face and says, my soul is bereaved to death.

Bam, einfach so, aus dem Nichts raus.

Bam, just like that, out of nowhere.

Aber es gab Platz in diesem Ort.

But there was space in this place.

Das war ein Ort, wo das stattfinden durfte.

That was a place where that was allowed to happen.

Oder wo Jesus zum Haus von Jairus kommt.

Or where Jesus comes to the house of Jairus.

Da ist der Rummel riesig.

The fair is huge there.

Die Neugier groß.

The curiosity is great.

Was wird Jesus machen?

What will Jesus do?

Alle Emotionen von Toten, Klagen und Trauer bis hin zu Jesus auslachen, was er hier tut.

All emotions from the dead, lamentation and sorrow, to laughing at Jesus for what he is doing here.

Und Jesus nimmt seine engsten Leute durch die Türe zu und schafft einen Raum, wo er zur Ruhe kommt.

And Jesus takes his closest people through the door and creates a space where he can find rest.

Er schafft einen Raum, wo der ganze Rummel, alles hätte ausblendet werden können.

He creates a space where all the fuss could have been blocked out.

Und wo er wieder frei ist.

And where he is free again.

Und wo er wieder frei war, um das zu machen, was Gott ihm als Auftrag gegeben hat.

And where he was free again to do what God had commissioned him to do.

Oder schauen wir uns Petrus an, auf dem Berg, von dieser Verklärung.

Or let's look at Peter, on the mountain, from this transfiguration.

Dass er völlig durch den Wind ist, ab dieser Szene, völlig verständlich.

That he is completely off his rocker from this scene on is completely understandable.

Was er hier erlebt hat, ist ja schon krass.

What he has experienced here is really intense.

Da kommen zwei Typen, die du aus der Bibel kennst.

Two guys come along that you know from the Bible.

Dann bist du einfach da.

Then you are simply there.

Aber sie sind schon hunderte von Jahren tot.

But they have been dead for hundreds of years.

Das macht etwas.

That means something.

Das macht etwas mit einem.

That changes something within you.

Da bin ich einverstanden.

I agree with that.

Aber jetzt kommt er mit irgendeiner Idee daher.

But now he's coming up with some kind of idea.

Er sagt, soll ich drei Hütten bauen?

He says, should I build three huts?

Also jetzt aus Distanz betrachtet.

So now viewed from a distance.

Petrus, was hat es dir ins Hirn geschneit?

Peter, what has snowed into your brain?

Echt jetzt.

Really now.

Was ist das für eine Idee?

What kind of idea is that?

Oder?

Or?

Was hat er sich überlegt?

What has he thought about?

Sollen die drei sich dann einfach in ihre Hütten zurückziehen?

Should the three then simply retreat to their huts?

Eigentlich sind sie ja da, um zusammen zu reden, oder?

Wenn wir sehen, was Jesus gemacht hat.

Vertrauenspersonen kann man nämlich einfach auffordern zu beten, ohne grosse Erklärung.

Die Jüngeren hatten ja keinen Plan, was Jesus erwartet und was er durchmachen wird.

The younger ones had no idea what to expect from Jesus and what he would go through.

Und er hat einfach gesagt, bleibt hier und betet.

And he simply said, stay here and pray.

Ja, für was?

Yes, for what?

Jesus, du bist hier der Gott von uns vier, oder?

Jesus, you are the God of the four of us here, right?

Für was sollen wir beten?

What shall we pray for?

Niemand hat gefragt.

Nobody asked.

Jesus hat einfach gesagt, hey, mir geht es richtig, richtig gut.

Jesus simply said, hey, I'm doing really, really well.

Hey, mir geht es richtig, richtig schlecht.

Hey, I'm really, really feeling bad.

Betet.

Pray.

Punkt.

Point.

Und sie hat gemacht, was im Rahmen ihrer Möglichkeiten war.

And she did what was within her means.

Das muss man hier natürlich schon zugeben.

One must admit that here, of course.

Aber sie hat auch erklärt, dass man die Augen beim Beten zutut.

But she also explained that one closes their eyes while praying.

Und dann kann man schon mal müde werden.

Ich glaube, wir alle, wir brauchen so Orte, wo wir einfach darauf los glauben können.

I think we all need places where we can simply believe freely.

Nicht irgendwie müssen, konform zu glauben.

Not having to believe in any particular way.

Und die Idee ist ja grundsätzlich nicht, dass wir nach irgendwelchen Richtlinien oder nach Gemeinden konform oder so glauben sollen.

And the idea is fundamentally not that we should believe according to any guidelines or conform to communities or something like that.

Und trotzdem ist nicht überall der richtige Ort für all deine Zweifel und all deine Ängste.

And yet, not everywhere is the right place for all your doubts and all your fears.

Oder dass alle immer für alle deine Gebetsanliegen beten sollen.

Or that everyone should always pray for all of your prayer requests.

Es ist doch nicht überall der Ort für alle deine Ideen und Gedankengänge, die da sind.

It's not always the place for all your ideas and thoughts that are there.

Wo du gerade so hast und Fragen, die du irgendwo stellen willst.

Where you just have it and questions that you want to ask somewhere.

Man muss ein bisschen ein Gespür entwickeln.

One must develop a bit of a feel for it.

Und das ist in Ordnung.

And that is fine.

Aber.

But.

Und das ist das, was ich dafür plädiere.

And that is what I advocate for.

Wir brauchen Orte, wo man diesen Filter ausschalten kann.

We need places where you can turn off this filter.

Wo man einfach darauf los glauben kann.

Where one can simply believe in it.

Darauf los zweifeln.

Doubt away.

Darauf los spinnen.

Wo man einfach darf, seine Beziehung zu Gott so leben und herauslassen, wie sie gerade ist.

Where one is simply allowed to live and express their relationship with God as it is.

Ich meine, sogar Jesus hat sich

I mean, even Jesus did

solche Vertrauensbeziehungen gesucht und gemacht.

such trust relationships sought and established.

Dann brauchen wir es auch umso mehr.

Then we need it all the more.

Die Frage ist aber, wie entsteht denn so etwas?

The question is, how does something like this come about?

Ist ja noch einfach, so einen Auftrag zu geben.

It's still easy to place such an order.

Macht.

Power.

Aber wie entsteht das?

But how does that happen?

Wie kann Vertraulichkeit wachsen?

How can confidentiality grow?

Und auch da fallen mir vier Sachen auf,

And there are four things that stand out to me,

wenn ich diese Stellen anschaue.

Das ist ein enger, kleiner Kreis von Auserwählten gewesen.

That has been a close, small circle of the chosen ones.

Und es war immer die gleiche Konstellation.

And it was always the same constellation.

Es ist nicht irgendwann noch mal noch der eine dazu gekommen,

At some point, there hasn't been another one added.

mal noch ein anderer.

Just one more.

Das würde das Ganze eben kaputt machen.

That would ruin everything.

Es braucht immer wieder die Gleiche.

It always takes the same thing again.

Und darum haben wir ja auch in dieser Kleingruppe

And that's why we have this small group.

schon seit Jahren immer ein bisschen die Gleiche.

For years, always a bit the same.

Klar dürfen sie offen sein für mal jemand Neues,

Of course, they can be open to someone new.

aber nicht für jedes Mal jemand anderes.

but not someone different every time.

Sondern, dass man einander ein bisschen kennt.

But that one knows each other a little.

Dass man sich einander öffnen kann.

That one can open up to each other.

Oder darum haben wir auch Heiligungstrios und Quattros,

Or that is why we also have sanctification trios and quattros,

wo man sich zu dritt, zu viert zusammentut.

where three or four come together.

Und der heilige Geist fragt, wie er die Situation sieht.

And the Holy Spirit asks how he sees the situation.

Und einander so dient.

And serves each other thus.

Ja, da leiht man sich schon oblos.

Aber das ist möglich, wenn es immer gleich die Gleiche,

die gleichen paar Jungs, die gleichen paar Frauen,

oder die gleichen Ehepaare sind, die sich da treffen.

Oder was auch immer für Konstellationen.

Aber immer wieder die Gleichen.

But always the same ones.

Dann das Zweite, was ich sehe, sie erleben Sachen zusammen.

Then the second thing I see is that they experience things together.

Jesus lässt die drei Personen Sachen mit ihm erleben.

Jesus allows the three people to experience things with him.

Erlebnisse, die sie verbinden.

Experiences that connect them.

Und wenn ich überzeugt bin,

And when I am convinced,

über die haben sie immer und immer wieder geredet.

They talked about it over and over again.

Die Tochter von Jairus ist erst die zweite Person,

The daughter of Jairus is only the second person,

die Jesus aus der Tochter hat verstehen lassen,

the Jesus has made it clear from the daughter,

von insgesamt nur drei in seiner ganzen Wirkungsgeschichte auf dieser Erde.

of only three in its entire history of influence on this Earth.

Oder?

Or?

Und das haben nur die drei Jünger miterlebt,

And only the three disciples witnessed that,

plus die Eltern dieser Mädchen.

plus the parents of these girls.

Sehr exklusiv.

Very exclusive.

Und ich wette, die drei Jünger haben ab und zu zueinander gesagt,

And I bet the three disciples said to each other from time to time,

Hey, Johnny, weisst du noch diese Szene?

Hey, Johnny, do you remember that scene?

Weisst du noch diese crazy Szene dort,

Do you remember that crazy scene there,

wo Jesus einfach gesagt hat, die Mädchen stehen auf und die ist aufgestanden.

where Jesus simply said, the girl gets up and she got up.

Die hat wieder angefangen zu atmen.

She has started breathing again.

Die ist tot hier gelegen.

It lay dead here.

Die hat wieder angefangen zu atmen.

She has started to breathe again.

Und weisst du noch die Gesichter von diesen Menschen, die wir durch haben, auf hier?

And do you still remember the faces of those people we went through here?

Und die sind am Singen, Totenklagelieder.

And they are singing, funeral dirges.

Und wir kommen mit diesen Mädchen hierher.

And we come here with these girls.

Weisst du noch?

Do you remember?

Das ist genau der Kit von solchen Beziehungen.

That is exactly the kit of such relationships.

Die weisst du noch, Erlebnisse.

You still know the experiences.

Wo man sagen kann, hey, magst du dich noch erinnern?

Where you can say, hey, do you still remember?

Unglaublich, was dort abgegangen ist.

Incredible what went on there.

Sie haben Geheimnisse geteilt.

They shared secrets.

Jesus hat ihnen Sachen erzählt und sie erleben lassen, die sie nicht für alle Jahre gedacht hatten.

Jesus told them things and made them experience things they had never thought possible in all their years.

Wo sie von diesem Berg runter gelaufen sind, wo die Verklärung stattgefunden hat,

Where they came down from this mountain, where the Transfiguration took place,

sagt Jesus, redet mit niemandem über das, was ihr gesehen habt,

says Jesus, do not speak to anyone about what you have seen,

bis es den Menschensohn von den Toten auferstanden ist.

until the Son of Man has risen from the dead.

Das war sicher nicht ganz einfach.

That was certainly not quite easy.

Aber es hat Vertraulichkeit gestärkt zueinander.

But it has strengthened confidentiality towards each other.

Stell dir vor, was passiert ist, als die vier wieder zu den anderen Jüngern zurückgekommen sind.

Imagine what happened when the four returned to the other disciples.

Zu den neun anderen, die jetzt dort unten waren.

To the nine others who were down there now.

Die haben sicher gefragt, hey, wo seid ihr gewesen?

They probably asked, hey, where have you been?

Hey, was habt ihr gemacht?

Hey, what did you do?

Dann viel Spass.

Then have fun.

Das ist brutal schwierig.

Aber Jesus hat ihnen das zutraut.

But Jesus believed in them.

Das hat die Vertraulichkeit gestärkt.

That has strengthened confidentiality.

Das war das gemeinsame Geheimnis.

That was the shared secret.

Das war das, was sie einander nur mehr anschauen mussten.

That was all they had to do, just look at each other.

Und alle wussten, das war es.

And everyone knew that was it.

Das war es.

That was it.

Das ist die Vertraulichkeit, das Geheimnis, das man einander teilt.

That is the confidentiality, the secret that one shares with each other.

Mit den Anfällen gute Geheimnisse.

With the seizures, good secrets.

Und das vierte.

And the fourth.

Sie fallen sich zur Last.

They are a burden to each other.

In dieser Szene aus dem Garten geht es um eine weitere wichtige Komponente, um Vertraulichkeit zu fördern.

In this scene from the garden, it is about another important component to promote confidentiality.

Jesus mutet sich und seine ganze Last seinen Freunden zu.

Jesus entrusts himself and his entire burden to his friends.

Und das klingt in unseren Schweizer Ohren brutal unpopulär.

And that sounds brutally unpopular to our Swiss ears.

Für uns ist das immer wieder so ein Ding von, ja, ich weiss jetzt nicht, wir bedenken schon für den anderen.

For us, it's always this thing of, yeah, I don't know, we do consider each other.

Und der hat ja auch eine schwierige Situation.

Und wenn ich jetzt dem noch erzähle, was bei mir gerade schwierig ist.

Und jetzt geht es am Ende zu.

Und dieser Jesus wird vielleicht gleich mal umgebracht.

And this Jesus might just get killed right away.

Wir wissen jetzt zum ersten Mal, dass sie es schon versucht haben.

We now know for the first time that they have already tried it.

Und das heisst, sie haben alles miterlebt.

And that means they have experienced everything.

Ja, Mensch.

Yes, human.

Er hatte keine Probleme im Leben.

He had no problems in life.

Und keine anderen Sorgen.

Johannes, Jakob, Husseng, Fischer, seit drei Jahren nicht mehr gefischt.

Von was leben die?

What do they live on?

Was haben die jetzt für Gefühle?

What feelings do they have now?

Was ist ihre Karriereplanung?

What is your career plan?

Das wird sicher auch umgetrieben.

That will definitely be driven around too.

Jetzt laufen wir drei Jahre diesem Typen nach und gleich stirbt der, weil er irgendwann verraten wird.

Now we've been chasing this guy for three years, and he's about to die because he will eventually be betrayed.

Das macht etwas mit einem.

Ja, das sind schon auch Sorgen und Last.

Und Jesus sagt, hey ja.

Das ist Teil dieser Vertrautheit.

Echt und ungefiltert und roh.

Real and unfiltered and raw.

Alle Abgründe, Lasten, Gefühle, Sorgen, Verletzungen, aber auch Freude aneinander einfach zumuten.

To simply expect all abysses, burdens, feelings, worries, injuries, but also joy from one another.

Und nicht jedem.

And not everyone.

Sondern einfach denen, die zu diesem Kreis gehören.

But simply to those who belong to this circle.

Ich glaube, das ist wichtig.

I believe that is important.

Nicht jedem.

Not everyone.

Und das ist für mich so ein bisschen das Konformglauben.

And for me, that's a bit of conformist belief.

Ja, am Sonntagmorgen nicht jedem.

Aber ich wünsche mir, dass du Orte hast, wo du einfach drauf los glauben kannst.

Where one stays overnight together.

Wo man Geheimnisse teilt.

Where secrets are shared.

Wo man beieinander sagt, wann man gleich verliebt ist.

Where you tell each other when you're about to fall in love.

Und wo man sich beieinander aushält, wenn jetzt der Crush vorbeigelaufen ist und einfach nichts dergleichen getan hat.

And where you stay with each other when the crush has just walked by and simply hasn't done anything of the sort.

Und wir lachen über das vielleicht.

And we laugh about that perhaps.

Aber Teenies, das ist echt.

But teenagers, that's real.

Bleibt dran mit diesen Beziehungen.

Stay tuned with these relationships.

Und wir anderen, die darüber lachen und schmunzeln,

And we others, who laugh and chuckle about it,

wir dürfen uns auch fragen, haben wir solche Beziehungen?

We have rarely slept a night.

Wir sind eher halbe Nächte durch die Tür gezogen.

Und von Klingelstreifen über Autos blitzen bis hin zu Blutgabaden im See.

All das hat dazugehört.

All of that was part of it.

Und noch ganz viel anderes, was ich hier gar nicht erst erzählen möchte.

And still a whole lot of other things that I don't even want to mention here.

Und was ironisch ist, dass das nicht alle wissen.

Was meine Mutter nicht weiss.

Und das ist ironisch.

Verbringt Zeit miteinander.

Spend time together.

Erlebt Sachen miteinander.

Erlebt analoge Sachen miteinander.

Die Sachen, die man irgendwann sagen kann, weisst du noch.

Es gibt niemanden, der in 30 Jahren in der Bar sitzt und sagt, weisst du noch das Game, das wir damals gespielt haben.
