Ja, der Jailbreak ist ja immer so eine Sache. Soll ich ihn machen? Soll ich ihn nicht machen?

Was passiert, wenn ich ein iPhone jailbreake? Und über das möchten wir heute ein bisschen mit euch diskutieren.

Genau. Ich finde den Jailbreak persönlich sehr gut, aber es gibt halt auch negative Sachen.

Exactly. I personally think the jailbreak is very good, but there are also negative aspects.

Zum Beispiel, dass er das iPhone sehr langsam macht mit Winterboard und auch wenn man den Hintergrund ändert, macht es das richtig langsam.

For example, that it makes the iPhone very slow with Winterboard, and even when you change the background, it really slows it down.

Und ich finde aber auch, es gibt nützliche Tools, wie zum Beispiel SB Settings.

And I also think there are useful tools, like SB Settings, for example.

Ja, SB Settings ist ja ein recht cooles Tool für das iPhone und den iPod Touch und ist ja auch schon länger in CDA verfügbar.

Und was kann man jetzt mit diesem App machen, mit dem SB Settings?

And what can you do with this app, with the SB Settings?

Also, man kann jetzt zum Beispiel einfach über den oberen Rand vom Bildschirm streichen, dann kommt ein kleines Pop-up und da kann man dann zum Beispiel Bluetooth einschalten, Edge einschalten, 3G einschalten und auch seine Daten zugreifen, Apps schnell öffnen.

So, for example, you can now simply swipe from the top edge of the screen, then a small pop-up appears where you can turn on Bluetooth, turn on Edge, turn on 3G, and also access your data, quickly open apps.

Und ich finde das Tool sehr gut und Winterboard, wie schon gesagt, finde ich eher nicht gut. Aber was hältst du davon?

Ja, Winterboard ist halt so eine Sache, ich brauche es. Also, ich finde es cool mit so anderen Designs.

Ich habe ja früher selbst Designs entwickelt für das iPhone und habe da auch eine Reihe dran gemacht.

I used to develop designs for the iPhone myself and worked on a series of them.

Und ja, ich habe da mit Birne, das hieß dann noch Leopard, nein, Leopard.

Und da kann man das auch downloaden, da zahlt man ein bisschen was, aber es ist ein super Design, nur ein bisschen schwierig zum Installieren.

Und ich habe da eben dann das iLandscape gemacht, das Design.

Das kann man irgendwo noch laden, keine Ahnung.

Und ja, daher finde ich Designs, ich brauche jetzt so ein Apple-Theme, so ein cooles Design, finde ich noch hier recht cool.

Ja, also ich finde auch manche Designs echt voll cool.

Ja, dann ist es halt auch noch so eine Sache mit den Summerboard-Themes, das sind ja die, wo man bei SP-Settings und so verwenden kann.

Und die finde ich sehr nützlich und dazu sagt euch jetzt noch der Algar auch was.

Jo, Summerboard-Themes brauche ich eigentlich nicht mehr, ich brauche nur Winterboard-Themes und bin damit sehr zufrieden, bis auf diesen Punkt, dass dieses iPhone einfach ein bisschen langsamer wird.

Yeah, I actually don't need Summerboard themes anymore, I only need Winterboard themes and I'm very satisfied with that, except for the fact that this iPhone is just getting a bit slower.

Und es gibt ja dann auch noch verschiedene Sachen, wie zum Beispiel Five-Icon-Doc und so weiter und so fort.

Also ich brauche jetzt Five-Icon-Doc, brauche ich mit dem Infini-Doc, das habe ich mir da gekauft.

So I need the Five-Icon-Doc now, I need it with the Infini-Doc, which I bought there.

Und ja, finde das echt nützlich.

And yes, I actually find that really useful.
