Besonders interessant sind dabei ihre Umlaufbahnen, lese ich weiter, und versuche mir das alles vorzustellen.

Der Kuipergürtel ist sehr weit draußen. Der äußerste Rand. Also quasi sowas wie das Niederböser oder Görlitz des Sonnensystems.

Jahrzehntelang hat man diese Region vernachlässigt und vermutet, naja, da schwirrt halt so allerhand Grobzeug rum.
