Und da haben die beiden den Finger in die Wunde gelegt und haben gesagt, wir wissen ja am Ende überhaupt noch nicht, was da am Ende überhaupt insgesamt bei diesem Haushalt rauskommt.

Also die Diskussionen darum werden sicherlich auch noch weitergehen.

So the discussions about it will certainly continue.

Und es wird sich auch noch viel tun an diesem Haushalt.

Zum Beispiel psychische Erkrankungen, Muskel-Skelett-Probleme wie zum Beispiel Rückenschmerzen.

For example, mental illnesses, musculoskeletal problems such as back pain.

Das nimmt zu und das zeigt sich natürlich auch bei den Fehltagen von Beschäftigten.

This is increasing, and this is naturally also reflected in the absenteeism of employees.

Jetzt, wo der Finanzminister trotzdem eine Abschaffung ins Spiel bringt.

Ist die denn wirklich realistisch?

Ich halte das nicht für realistisch, dass Lindner sich damit in nächster Zeit wieder in die Hand bringt.

Erst Ende letzten Jahres hat der Gemeinsame Bundesausschuss, das heißt unter anderem die Vertreter der Krankenkassen und Ärzte, beschlossen, die telefonische Krankschreibung nach der Corona-Zeit auf Dauer einzuführen.

Only at the end of last year did the Joint Federal Committee, which includes representatives from health insurance companies and doctors, decide to permanently introduce telephone sick leave after the Corona period.

Das Ziel ist, die Arztpraxen zu entlasten durch weniger Patienten in den Praxen, die nur wegen einer Krankschreibung kommen.

The goal is to relieve medical practices by having fewer patients in the offices who come only for a sick note.

Dadurch auch weniger Bürokratie.

Thus also less bureaucracy.

Diese Regelung haben sich viele Ärzte gewünscht und deshalb gab es dafür auch politisch grünes Licht.

Und das nun wieder nach nur einem Jahr zu kippen, kann ich mir nicht vorstellen.

Schon gar nicht.

Und gar nicht mit Blick auf die bevorstehende Winter- und Erkältungszeit.

And not at all with an eye on the upcoming winter and cold season.

Und dazu muss man auch sagen, diese telefonische Krankschreibung, die bekommt man ja auch nicht so ohne weiteres.

And it must also be said that you can't just get a sick note over the phone so easily.

Nein, so einfach ist das gar nicht.

Eine telefonische Krankmeldung geht nur, wenn ich als Patient schon bei dem jeweiligen Arzt war und der mich kennt.

A phone call for reporting an illness is only possible if I, as a patient, have already been to the respective doctor and he knows me.

Und das geht auch nur bei leichten Krankheitssymptomen.

And that only works with mild symptoms of illness.

Dann dürfen die Ärzte maximal fünf Tage telefonisch krankschreiben.

Da geht es meist um Erkältungskrankheiten, Magen-Darm-Infekte oder sowas.

Und nach Einschätzung der Krankenkassen macht das auch Sinn, dass sich die Leute in solchen Fällen nicht krank zum Arzt steppen
