荒内さんは1978年愛知県のお生まれです

自営業の家庭に生まれ

Born into a self-employed family.

周りの大人も経営者ばかりの環境にあったことから

Because I was in an environment surrounded by adults who were all business owners.

自分も将来は社長になるものだと思い

育たれてきました

南山大学経営学部をご卒業後

After graduating from the Faculty of Business Administration at Nanzan University.

2002年に株式会社フレームワークスへご入社

育ってきたということなんですけれども

スーパーマーケットとか

花の卸売業とかをやってました

子供としてずっとそばでお父様のお仕事を見ていらっしゃって

自分もその会社を継ぐのかなという感じではなかったんですかね

I wonder if I didn't have the feeling that I would inherit that company as well.

あんま記憶ないんですけど

I don't really remember much.

すごいちっちゃい時は継ぐって思ってたかもしれないですけど

When I was really little, I might have thought I would take over.

物心ついたぐらいでやっぱ

When I started to understand things, I realized...

父親を超えたいというか

I want to surpass my father.

男性なら思うと思うんですけど

I think it's something that men would think about.

その時に継ぐというよりは自分で作るってなんとなく思いました

At that time, rather than inheriting, I somehow thought I would create it myself.

新しく自分が会社を立ち上げるんだっていうのを

なんとなく当たり前のことだと思っていたと

それでその大学も経営学部にご進学されるんですよね

その後新卒でご入社されたのが

フレームワークスという会社ですけれども

こちらはどんなお仕事をされてたんですか

What kind of work were you doing here?

サプライチェーンで

In the supply chain.

サプライチェーンマネジメントといわれる

It is said to be supply chain management.

製造から小売りまでをつなぐ経営管理手法の領域のシステムを主に製造販売している会社だったんですけど

It was a company primarily engaged in manufacturing systems in the field of management techniques that connect manufacturing to retail.

私はそこのコンサルティング部隊にいまして

I am in the consulting team over there.

そのサプライチェーン領域のコンサルティングをやったり

I have done consulting in the area of that supply chain.

あと私が入社してからマザーズに上場したんですけれども

Also, the company was listed on the Mothers market after I joined.

上場した後は

After going public

M&Aとかそういうことをやりながら

While doing things like M&A

会社を拡大している時でしたので

It was when I was expanding the company.

その経営企画みたいなこととか

マーケティングということに携わってました

I was involved in marketing.

そのお仕事はどのぐらい続けられてたんですか

How long did you continue that job?

5年ですね

It's been 5 years, hasn't it?

5年経って30手前

Five years later, just before turning 30.

もう独立するタイミングだなっていうところで

I think it's time for me to become independent.

現実的な話ですけど

このタイミングでボーナスをもらってからやめようみたいな

It feels like a good idea to quit after getting a bonus at this timing.

資金も必要ですしね

ということで29歳の時に独立っていうところでは

So at the age of 29, I became independent.

キューブ&カンパニーを設立されるということになるわけですが

最初から順調に資金もあり

お客様も集まりみたいな形で

順調に動いていく感じだったんですか

実際は会社を創業してから半年間ぐらいは

In reality, it was about six months after starting the company that...

2足のバラージでやってたんですね

You were doing it with two pairs of Balaji, weren't you?

フレームワークスに勤めながら半年間両方やってるみたいな

It seems like I've been doing both while working at Frameworks for six months.

夜間と週末にキューブをやって

Do the cube at night and on weekends.

昼間はフレームワークスで働くみたいなことをやったんですけど

During the day, I did something like working at Frameworks.

その間に

キューブとしての

新しいクライアントとか

New clients, etc.

お仕事いただいたりできたので

キューブに100%コミットしてから

するタイミングでも仕事が結構あったんですね

なのでコンサルというビジネスの特性上

在庫を抱えたりとかもないですし

We don't have to hold onto any inventory either.

我々自身が在庫であり商品なので

ランニングコストが圧迫するみたいなこともなく

まるっきり1人で始められた会社

3名で始めました

We started with three people.

どんなご友人だったりとか

仕事仲間だったりとか

Like being work colleagues or something.

1人はフレームワークスの時に

One person was during the frameworks.

一緒に働いていた

We were working together.

コンサルでも一緒にやってましたし

We were doing it together even in consulting.

経営企画マーケティングのところでも

Even in the management planning and marketing area.

一緒にやっていた人間で

The person I was doing it with.

この人間が

今副社長なんですけれども

I am currently the vice president.

それともう1人は

And the other person is...

中高の同級生

Classmates from middle and high school.

クラスメイトだった人間と

With a person who was a classmate.

その3人で立ち上げました

Those three people started it up.

13年経った今も

Even now, 13 years later.

一緒に経営されている

それなりのサイズにはなったので

兄貴分のベンチャーの社長の方が

すごい同じこと言われるんですよね

このその3人は必ず衝突するから

みたいなことを言われたんですけど

本当に3人でずっとやっていくのであれば

If we're really going to keep doing this with just the three of us...

極端な話

An extreme example.

お金の件とか

Regarding money matters.

もっと言ったらプライベート含めた

女性の件とか

そういうのでもめたとしても

次の日に3人でカウンター横並びで牛丼食って

楽しかったねって笑える関係じゃないと

続かないよっていうのは

もうすごい創業前の準備期間に言われたので

それは3人とも今でも意識をしてるんだと思います

なので大きな衝突は特にないですね

29歳の時に社長が立ち上げた会社で

具体的にその事業内容を改めて教えていただいてもいいですか

はいあのうちは創業当初から

Yes, our house has been that way since its founding.

コンサルティングを主軸に事業をさせて

Focusing on consulting as the core of our business.

いただいてまして

I have received.

今は2つに大きく対別してやってます

Right now, I am doing it in two major categories.

1つがITのコンサルですね

One is IT consulting.

いわゆる業務システムの導入をする際に

When implementing what is commonly referred to as a business system

我々の業界で言うとPMOという立ち位置の

In our industry, this position is referred to as PMO.

プロジェクトマネジメントオフィスと呼ばれる

Called the Project Management Office

部隊があるんですけど

There's a unit.

主にそこのお仕事をさせてもらってます

I mainly work there.

そのプロジェクトの管理ですとか

Management of that project, for example.

課題解決をしていくような

Like solving issues.

お仕事ともう一つが戦略コンサルですね

One is work and the other is strategic consulting.

いわゆる今は昨今M&Aとかが盛んですので

So-called M&A activities are quite active these days.

それに関わるデューデリジェンスのお仕事ですとか

It is a job related to due diligence.

ピュアに事業戦略を作るみたいな

It's like creating a business strategy in a pure way.

大きく言うとその2つの部隊があって

Broadly speaking, there are those two units.

もう一つは自社で

Another one is in-house.

アピーアピーという

It sounds like "apee apee."

女性向けのECアパレルの事業を展開してます

We are developing an e-commerce apparel business for women.

そのECアパレルっていうのは

That EC apparel refers to.

そのサイトだけで販売するアパレルの

Apparel sold exclusively on that site.

そうですね

That's right.

ナショナルブランドもあるので

There are also national brands.

他の店舗さんでも扱っているようなものも置いているので

割と長期になることもありますよね

っていうことは社員さんが長期に渡って

その会社さんを見ていくっていう形になると思うんですけど

一人立ちできるまでってとても大変なんじゃないですか

3年でコンサルに上がってねっていうのを

コンサルの基準は

一人でプロジェクトを回せるという

基準なので

3年から5年ですね

御社にいらっしゃった社員さんで

辛い経験をされたというか

辛い別れがあったみたいなことってあったんですかね

うちの会社新卒第1号で入社した人間に

The first person who joined our company as a new graduate.

3年ぐらい修業を積んで

After about three years of training.

子会社を作ろうというタイミングで

子会社の社長を任せたんですけれども

I entrusted the position of president to a subsidiary.

大抜擢ですね

That's a big promotion, isn't it?

そうですね

コミュニケーションスキルが高い人間だったんで

They were a person with high communication skills.

いけるという感触もあったので

I had the feeling that I could do it.

任せたんですけど

I left it up to you.

2期ぐらいやらせてみて

決算のタイミングで

蓋を開けてみたら

ちょっと不正なというか

まあしょうがないというか

本当それが起きてすぐぐらいは

怒り苛立ちみたいなものはあったのかもしれないんですけど

だけど時間が経つにつれ

いやでもなかなかそう思うっていうことは難しいでしょうし

15期からの3年間の中期経営計画を

その中では

やはりコンサルティング事業ではない

新しい事業を立ち上げていきたいな

I want to start a new business.

っていうのは思ってまして

ただうちの場合は今

ITと戦略とアパレルの舞台があるんですけれども

There is a stage for IT, strategy, and apparel.

それぞれに

それぞれの領域から派生していくビジネスを

Businesses that derive from each respective field.

それぞれに立てて

3つの新しい事業を作りたいと思ってます

I am thinking of starting three new businesses.

ある意味では挑戦の年になりそうということなんですね

It seems that, in a way, it will be a year of challenges.

ある意味じゃなくてそのまま挑戦の年だと思います

I believe this is a year of challenge in every sense, without any qualifications.

ドストレートで挑戦の年だと思います

I think this is the year to challenge myself head-on.

ということですね

そういう挑戦するにあたって

In taking on such challenges.

あたっても新しいメンバーがおそらくどんどん入ってくるんでしょうし

Even if we do, new members will probably keep joining one after another.

その中からもしかしたら独立したいとか

それからあらうち社長のような社長像を目指す方も出てくるかもしれませんが

どんな言葉を送りますか

まず大前提に

First and foremost,

仕事を楽しむと

When you enjoy your work

ということを常に心がけてほしいです

I want you to always keep that in mind.

講師の言葉じゃないですけど

It's not something a lecturer would say, but...

楽しんでいる人が一番強いので

Those who are enjoying themselves are the strongest.

よくやれるかやれないかではなく

It's not about whether you can do it or not.

やるかやらないかだということをよく言うと思いますけど

I think it's often said that it's about whether to do it or not.

僕本当にその通りだと思うんですね

I really think that's exactly right.

やっぱりやる前からやれない理由とか

After all, reasons for not being able to do it before even starting...

失敗した時のリスクをばっかり考えて

Always thinking about the risks of failure.

結果行動に起こさないと

You have to take action as a result.

この目の前のことが何も変わらないので

Because nothing in front of me is changing.

失敗してもこうやれば失敗するんだということを

Even if you fail, it shows how you can fail by doing it this way.

学ぶだけ前に進めますし

By just learning, you can move forward.

なのでまずやるということが

第一だと思います

社長というところに限って言うと

Speaking specifically in terms of the president,

社長に重要な能力って僕3つあると思っていて

I believe there are three important abilities for a president.

一つが価値創造

One is value creation.

売り上げを作るとか

Creating sales, or something like that.

新しい商品を生んでいくとか

Creating new products.

っていうことも全て含めて

価値創造というスキル能力と

あと組織運営

チームを作ってそのチームにビジョンを示して

みんな同じ方向に引っ張っていく力

The power to pull everyone in the same direction.

この価値創造と組織運営というのが非常に
