It's time for the training radio on Sunday, September 10th.

It's starting today, but not really from today.

The Rugby World Cup in France has begun.

Today, the Japanese national team achieved a splendid victory in their first match against Chile.

The kickoff was at 8 PM, you see.

It's 12 hours ago.

My child's rugby tournament has also kicked off.

Today was a day filled with rugby.

I think I will remember this.

Then let's get started.

Thank you for your hard work, everyone.

In today's training radio, I would like to practice speaking heartfully once again.

Today, September 10th, is…

The Rugby World Cup, the tournament in France, was Japan's first match.

It was 12 hours ago.

I went to support my eldest son's rugby team in a tournament today.

Thanks to the children's sports activities.

I feel like I'm having enjoyable days.

I wake up at 5:30 in the morning.

Preparing to take to my home and other things.

Please check the tools.

It takes about an hour and a half to drive to the venue.

Today is...

There's a place called Koga City where there's something called Namahage.

There is a god.

Maybe it's a Japanese thing.

Famous Namahage

It's called Nagukowai Nega.

It's a demon holding a knife, isn't it?

That it is there, you see.

We held a tournament in Koga City.

The tournament was held.

It's been since the COVID-19 pandemic, hasn't it?

It's been three years since the last event.

It was a tournament, but...

It's quite an impressive venue with excellent artificial turf.

"It feels like there's something like this in Koga."

That was surprising, wasn't it?

あと

Also.

We gathered at 8 o'clock, and the opening ceremony started at 8:30.

After all, that...

It was filled with three years' worth of feelings.

The opening ceremony is long, isn't it?

The guests are talking and talking.

I want to say something without having to talk so much.

I talked with about 3 or 4 people.

While thinking, "I don't need it anymore."

I've been listening all along.

Quite a lot.

I think it's authoritative, you know.

見てました

I was watching.

And in this tournament, you see...

Eldest son's team affiliation.

New Jersey

It was the unveiling of the new uniform, wasn't it?

そして

And then

It's the 50th anniversary of the team's establishment.

It was a new jersey to commemorate the 50th anniversary.

That was cool, wasn't it?

My eldest son's jersey number used to be 30.

This time, taking this opportunity, I will change to number 27.

His impression was that it was subtle.

He ultimately wants number 6.

It's number 8.

That's the number that player Reach Michael wears.

However,

He will ultimately play the position of flanker or number 8.

In rugby, positions are determined by jersey numbers, right?

I want to play as a flanker or number 8.

I hope to have either jersey number 6 or 8.

I hope we can gradually get closer to those good numbers.

The match has started.

In the first round, the eldest son was able to score two tries.

Since this season, after becoming a second-year student.

It's rugby where coaches connect the passes.

I am working on it little by little.

I think it has finally taken shape and become this opening.

The eldest sons too.

How should I put it, there are some kids who have been playing together since they were 5 years old.

For a quick child, you know.

My eldest son has been playing rugby since he was 4 years old, to be precise.

Right after that, already...

It's about the kids who are involved.

It's actually...

I seem to have quite a good timing with those kids.

まあその

Well, then...

Well, even if I look at it favorably...

Let's set aside the eldest son for now.

I feel like they're going to carry the weight of Akita's rugby on their shoulders.

The children are...

Seeing two or three people from the same grade in the same scene is...

It's quite a happy thing.

The eldest sons who can play together with those kids.

It's about the quality of the eldest son's play.

As a player, it's also about the stage.

I wonder if I'm being helped up.

By connecting the ball, we can properly share our images with each other.

Moreover, rugby is played sideways.

I talked about this before, but there’s no side to it.

That's why you can only pass the ball backward.

The space behind like this.

What do you say?

As the passer, you need to grasp that.

Let it out.

As the one running in, a pass is played right in front of me.

意識

Consciousness

Share the image and connect the passes.

Going at top speed means...

I think this is quite a high level of difficulty.

They sometimes manage to do that too.

For a good play that is connected like that,

Praising each other is...

I am doing something important.

Things like high fives, right?

Samza is eating an ice cream with a thumbs up and a fist.

Praising each other.

We are motivating each other and playing.

I was able to see some good plays like that again today.

That's great!

How can I put it? I passed the ball that I had decided on.

I got the pass, and then I established the try, but that's how it is, right?

You have quite an irresistible expression on your face, don't you?

With an amazing smile.

Seeing that, it feels like I can't help but be captivated.

I thought it was nice.

Today, my eldest son did something like a solo trial run.

I happened to receive the ball in a good way.

Did you do the restart early?

If I pull out just one person, then after that...

It seems like no one is in front of me anymore.

There was a situation where I would run alone for about twenty or thirty meters and try it out.

My eldest son isn't that fast, you know.

The players from the opposing team are chasing my oldest son.

It feels like it's almost within reach, but not quite.

It feels like my eldest son is stomping heavily.

The way they move forward creates a kind of laughter in the venue that is just indescribable.

The eldest son looked happy to have scored a good try.

I thought, "Wow, that was great," so I took a look.

I think you were able to deepen your confidence.

Advancing to the semi-finals with great enthusiasm.

They got completely beaten by the team they faced in the semifinals.

It was like, a little bit of a tough expression on my face, you know?

Even so, we are still like this with each other.

"Like starting early when restarting."

Let's cheer each other on and do our best!

I'm glad to see the determination to try to rebuild things on their own.

Without losing focus,

I think that kind of thing is a bit of growth, too.

When I was really about 5 or 6 years old, you know...

What they are doing is throwing stones or pebbles onto the field.

So I get really scolded by those coaches.

Um, if the players fall on the grass, they might get hurt.

You shouldn't do dangerous things like that.

Also, it’s not appropriate in terms of etiquette.

As for Chona, if you pull out the artificial grass...

Well, the thing you really shouldn't do is...

You shouldn't do it even on natural grass.

It's not good to pull out grass.

"After that, we would find that grasshopper and then everyone would chase after it."

What else is there?

Like suddenly starting to play hide-and-seek.

To start playing tag, or something like that.

The coaches have been quite patient in their efforts.

I really have nothing but feelings of gratitude.

Chona suddenly lay down on the ground.

"They said they would scream 'Mom' and go home."

It was quite some time ago when I was 4 or 5 years old.

Regarding him, who had the option of not practicing...

That's a wonderful achievement!

Just finishing up practice and coming back is already enough.

I'm watching this thinking it's quite something.

それで

So, then.

"Also, today at the venue, there will be Baba Hela ice cream."

Do you all know about Baba Hera Ice?

Well, it's ice cream that my grandmother sells.

They are calling it "reaction babahera."

You pile it up like this with a spatula, right?

It's called Baba Hela ice cream.

It's also being exhibited.

It was like offering 300 limited free meals.

It seems like the event organizers planned this, right?

The kids prefer ice cream over rugby, right?

It was hot.

Somehow do that.

First, you said to eat ice cream after the match is over.

After the first round, I ate ice cream.

I thought to myself that the reason I lost was probably because of ice.

It looked like you were having a lot of fun eating ice cream.

Thanks to the ice.

He's the second son.

My second son was also at the tournament today.

My second son is 5 years old.

From my second son’s perspective, it’s like I’m not playing rugby.

I was woken up around 5:30.

Taken to the venue.

I was suddenly shown rugby, which I don't really want to watch anyway.

There's no game either.

What is this all about?

That's how it was, you see.

He also has that Baba Hera, you know.

Something like food.

So I think they gradually lowered the flow rate.

That's right for today.

When there are tournaments like today or rugby...

I'm telling my eldest son to eat what he likes.

So you want to eat sushi today, huh?

Our family has been greatly taken care of by Kurazushi.

I bought a set at Kurazushi.

The rest is up to you; feel free to order whatever you like.

Well, the amount the eldest son can eat is...

It seems to be increasing as we crush the shells.

I'm thinking that this guy can eat just about anything.

Before I knew it, my second son has started eating quite a bit as well.

Something like raw fish.

For now, he's starting off with the salmon.

This begins with the tuna, like the eldest son.

Once I started to eat various things,

I'm wondering what will happen.

Not at all like this.

The amount you request.

I wonder if I have to do it.

Well, even so, I'm eating a lot and exercising a lot.

I'm glad to hear that.

Looking back, it's 2015.

He was born in the year of the Rugby World Cup in England.

"My body definitely looks bigger than the other kids."

I am like this.

Like this with your feet.

I thought it was still uncertain whether they were quick on their feet or not, since they were only four years old.

For now, I wonder if there's a good sport with a lot of starters.

I thought that a sport where being large could be considered a talent would be good.

I was thinking this is probably rugby.

So, I had him try rugby in 2019.

Then he won't dislike it so much.

It's something that I love and have kept doing for a long time.

And, um...

The four years leading up to Japan's first match.

Today is September 10, 2023.

It's also about him scoring a try in the tournament.

I really thought this was nice.

I'm glad that you are accepting it.

I guess it means that you have started to like rugby.

I haven't played rugby either.

It was something that gave me the opportunity.

Seeing him play with friends with a smile on his face is

I'm really happy above all.

Because all the kids from different elementary schools have gathered together.

He is in a different category from his own elementary school.

I am also able to obtain a batch.

I think this is also thanks to rugby.

If only I had a ball.

Whether it's baseball, soccer, or anything else...

If you have just one ball.

It's something that can connect people with one another.

I want you to keep going.

That enjoyment.

I hope he will notice it too.

It's simple, but...

I think I'll end it here for today.
