このスクラップ工場ということなんですけども

This is about the scrap factory.

インドで何をやっているところなんですか

What are you doing in India?

Scrap yard

アビシェイク系開放さんというところで

At a place called Abhishek Release.

インターンシップをさせていただいたんですけど

I was able to do an internship.

そこは廃車になった車

That is a discarded car.

を改修して

インドは結構使えなくなった車を

道に放置されたりだとか

結構廃車にするの大変なんですよね

It's quite difficult to get rid of a car for scrapping, isn’t it?

工場は結構田舎の方に

The factory is fairly out in the countryside.

離れたところにあって

Being far away

いつも宮川さんという日本人の方に

I always rely on a Japanese person named Miyakawa.

車で連れて行ってもらってたんですけど

I was being taken by car.

周りは本当に更地

The area around is truly vacant land.

何もなくて

It's nothing.

お昼ご飯とかも結構大変でした

Lunch was quite a challenge too.

北インドですか

Is it North India?

どこなんだろう具体的には

I wonder where it is specifically.

グルガオンという地域です

It is an area called Gurugram.

What kind of place is Gurgaon?

で最初の1週間で

ミッションをいただいてそれを自分たちの家に解決していくという

We receive a mission and work to solve it in our own home.

ミッション型解決のインターンシップに参加させていただいて

I had the opportunity to participate in a mission-based internship.

そこである程度ミッションの解決の仕方などを勉強してから

After studying how to solve the mission to some extent,

自分たちの選択した企業にインターンシップを行って

Intern at the companies we have chosen.

それがスクランブルだったんですね

スクラップ工場だったってことですね

スクラップ工場だったり日本食レストランだったり

It was either a scrap factory or a Japanese restaurant.

あと広告代理店だったりさまざまな企業があったんですけど

There were also advertising agencies and various other companies.

私たちがインターンシップさせてもらった企業さんは

させてもらったプロジェクトがすごい

The project I was allowed to be a part of is amazing.

自分的には印象に残っているかなと思います

大まかに言うとウェブマーケティングをさせてもらって

Roughly speaking, I am involved in web marketing.

ウェブマーケティングの中でも企業ブログと

まだできて3年目の企業さんなので

あまりウェブマーケティングとかブログ

ホームページにお金がかけれないってことで

I can't spend money on the website.

How can I implement SEO measures without spending money?

じゃあ実際にトンカチ持って解体をしたわけじゃないってことですね

So, you didn't actually take a hammer and break it down, right?

全然そんなスクラップにするのは

There's no way to scrap it like that at all.

見たのは見たんですけど自分たちの手ではやってないですね

I saw it, but we haven't done it ourselves.

どうですか?ビジネスとして伸びていそうですか?

How is it? Does it seem like it's growing as a business?

そうですね

That's right.

インドの今法律が変わって

The laws in India have changed now.

15年以上使った車は廃車にしないといけないっていう法律ができていて

There is a law that states cars that have been in use for over 15 years must be scrapped.

まだその法律ができたのが確か2021年くらいで

That law was certainly enacted around 2021.

まだ全然2021年からまだ3年しか経っていないので

It's only been 3 years since 2021.

今後5年とか60年したらもっと廃車が出てくるんじゃないかなって思いますね

I think there will be more scrapped cars in the next 5 or 60 years.

藤原さんこれやってる企業はもともと日本の

Mr. Fujiwara, the companies doing this were originally Japanese.

会社っていうことですか?

Are you talking about a company?

そうですね日本の会社がインドに進出している

Yes, Japanese companies are expanding into India.

それやっぱり廃車の技術があるからとかそういうことですか?

Is it because there is technology for scrapping vehicles or something like that?

そうですねインドはやっぱり資格を持ってない

That's right, in India, they don't really have qualifications.

一般の方が今まで車を解体して

Ordinary people have been dismantling cars until now.

体に悪い環境に悪い液体などを道路に垂れ流れていた状況だったので

It was a situation where harmful substances and bad liquids were flowing onto the road.

日本の会社が日本の会社に移転してきましたので

A Japanese company has moved to another Japanese company.

日本の会社の解体技術がインドに進出していっているっていう

Japanese demolition technology is making its way into India.

なるほどね

I see.

インドはそういったまだまだ遅れている面があると思うんですけども

I think India still has some aspects where it is lagging behind.

この車以外にも何か見聞きしたもので

全般的なイメージでインド行ってきて

I've been to India with a general image in mind.

そうですねやっぱり一番びっくりしたのは

人口の多さをびっくりして

I was surprised by the large population.

電車とか

交通業の多さをびっくりして

多さにもびっくりしました

I was surprised by the number.

今の車の話もありましたけどね

車ものすごい勢いで作ってますからね

We're making cars at an incredible pace.

三木さんは日本とインドのビジネスっていうことで言うと

日本企業もいろんな形で進出してますけど

Japanese companies are entering the market in various ways.

何か可能性あるいは限界そういうのについて

About possibilities or limits regarding such things.

考えたりしたことはありましたか?

あるいは現地の人からどんな話を聞いたりしました?

Or what kind of stories did you hear from the locals?

日本とインドは文化的にすごい違うと思うんですけど

I think Japan and India are really culturally different.

一番の違いはカースト性かなっていうのをすごい感じましたね

I really felt that the biggest difference is the caste system.

やっぱりカースト性があるからこそ

That's precisely because there is a caste system.

そこから最初の段階が対等じゃないっていうか

From there, it's not that the initial stage is equal, you know.

どこまで行っても対等になれないっていう

No matter how far I go, I can't become equal.

超えられない壁っていうかそういうのがあるのが

It's like there's a barrier that can't be overcome.

日本とインドの違いっていうか難しいところなのかなって感じましたね

I felt that the differences between Japan and India are quite difficult to define.

なかなか奥深いインドにハマっていったっていうか

I ended up getting deeply into India.

ビジネスやるにしてもそういったところを

Even if you're doing business, those kinds of things...

どうしても避けては通れないっていうところはあると思いますけどね

I think there are definitely places that you can't avoid no matter what.

I really learned about the difficulties of doing business overseas.

今回インターンシップをさせてもらった企業さんが

The company where I had the opportunity to do my internship is

一からインドで立ち上げをされた企業さんなので

It's a company that was established from scratch in India.

そこでのやっぱり国民性の違いだったり

It was probably the difference in national character there.

文化の違いだったりを聞いて

I would like to hear about the differences in culture.

そこで頑張ってる日本人がすごいかっこいいなっていうのを感じました

I felt that the Japanese people doing their best there are really cool.

初めてのインターンシップは海外のインドでのインターンシップだったので

My first internship was an internship abroad in India.
