今日は4つのワークについてお話したいなと思います

Today, I would like to talk about four workshops.

みんな好きなことをお仕事にしたいとか

Everyone wants to turn what they love into a job.

得意なことをお仕事にしたいとか

I want to turn my strengths into a job.

いやいや、使命だ、ミッションだ、志だとか

No, no, it's a calling, a mission, a purpose.

お仕事って何のために、誰のために、なぜやるのか

What is work for, for whom, and why do we do it?

ってすごい大事じゃないかなと思うんですよね

I think that's really important.

まあ、官暦間近の、定年間近の人から

Well, from someone approaching retirement age with the official age nearing.

就活、今まさにこれから仕事を選ぼうとしている人から

Job hunting, from someone who is just about to choose a job.

アルバイトしている高校生から

From a high school student who is working part-time.

いろんな形で働くっていうことを経験していると思うんですけれども

I think you have experienced working in various ways.

それが誰のために、何のために、なぜ私がそれをやるのかっていうのを

To consider for whom, for what purpose, and why I am doing it.

4つのワークというので考えてみたいなと思います

これね、ある有名な講演家の方が

お話してたっていうことを10年以上前に聞いて

I heard that you were talking about it more than ten years ago.

私もそれを同じように伝えさせていただいています

I am also conveying that in the same way.

なので私がオリナルではないんですけれども

So I'm not original, but...

この考え方すごい素敵だなと思ってお伝えしています

I think this way of thinking is really wonderful, and I wanted to share that with you.

まずはね、ライスワーク、お米

First of all, rice work, rice.

そう、食べるために、自分が生きていくために働く

Yes, I work to eat and to keep myself alive.

まあ、どんな仕事だろうが

Well, no matter what kind of job it is.

肉体なり、自分の脳を使うなり、何なりとしてですね

Whether it's through the body, using one's own brain, or whatever else, you know.

お金をいただいて、それで自分がまた明日生きる

I receive money, and with that, I live again tomorrow.

食べるために、生活していくために

To eat, to live.

ライスワーク

Rice work

まあ最初はそれでいいと思うんですよね

Well, I think that's good for the beginning.

やっぱり動物として自分の生命維持のために活動するということで大事ですよね

After all, it's important for animals to engage in activities for their own survival.

でもね、それだけだとね

But you know, that's just it.

やっぱり誰もが

After all, everyone...

何のために、ただ生きるために生きているのか

For what purpose am I living, just to live?

そういうことに疑問を持ち始める方が多いようです

It seems that many people are beginning to question such things.

無駄な方も別にそれでいいと思うんですね

I think that it's fine even if it's a waste.

自分が生まれてきたその命を生かすということが目的ということで

The purpose is to make the most of the life I was born into.

日々働くことも生活していくこともそれでいいと思うんです

I think it's perfectly fine to work every day and live like that.

でもそれだとね、なんかこう

But with that, you know, it feels like...

動物、すごく原始的、動物的というか

Animals, very primitive, or rather animalistic.

人間はね、やっぱりもう少し文化を持ち

Humans, after all, should have a bit more culture.

人とコミュニケーションを持ち、社会を作り

Communicate with people and create a society.

自分と

With myself

他者との間に何か育んでいく

Fostering something between oneself and others.

動物だからこそ

Because they are animals.

仕事を通じて何かそういう

Through work, something like that.

新しい価値を

New value.

生み出していきたいって

I want to create.

思う人が多いと思います

I think there are many people who feel that way.

それでやっぱり自分の好きなことで働く

So, after all, I want to work in what I love.

ライクワーク

Like Work

ライスワークじゃなくて

It's not just a rice work.

ライクワーク、好きなことで働く

Like work, working with things you like.

それで大きいお金を働ける

That way, you can earn a lot of money.

あの、稼げる場合もありますし

Well, there are also cases where you can earn money.

稼げない場合もある

There may be times when you can't earn.

重なってる人もいれば

Some people are overlapping.

重なってない人もいますよね

There are also people who aren't overlapping, right?

ライスワークをやりながら

While doing rice work.

ライクワークで自分の好きなことを追求する

それが別に趣味だっていいわけですから

That's fine if it's just a hobby.

それはワークにならないので

That won't work.

ライクなことをするっていう方がだけ

It's just about doing things that I like.

私はね、もう美容師はもう最初

As for me, I am no longer a hairstylist from the very beginning.

このライクワークでスタートです

This is the start with like work.

大好きだから始めてるっていう感じ

It feels like I'm starting this because I love it.

それがライスワークにもなってたっていうことで

That also became my rice work.

ライクワークをやることが大事ですよね

It's important to do like-work, isn't it?

これがですね

This is it.

ただ好きだからやってるから

I'm doing it simply because I like it.

ライフワーク

Lifework

やはり

As expected.

周りにそういう風に望まれてやったり

I did it because those around me wanted it that way.

自分がそれをやることで

By doing it myself

他者を喜ばすことができるみたいな

Like being able to make others happy.

自分の人生を懸けてやる

I will dedicate my life to it.

使命と言うんでしょうか

Is it called a mission?

自分が生まれてきた命の使い方

The way to use the life that I was born into.

と書いた使命

The mission I wrote.

思って、使命感を持って

Thinking with a sense of使命感.

仕事することをライフワーク

Making work a lifelong pursuit.

という風に

In that way

呼ばれる、呼んでいます

I am being called, I am calling.

人生をかけてやっていく仕事

A job that you dedicate your life to.

それも

That too.

お金をもらえるかもらえないか

Whether I can get paid or not.

とはまた別の話

That's a different story altogether.

なんですけれども

However,

それか、重ねてる人はやっぱりラッキーですよね

Or, people who are stacking them are definitely lucky, right?

私も

Me too.

ライクワークからさらにライフワーク

From like work to even life work.

自分が頑張って

I'll do my best.

例えばその、美容師もね

For example, that hairstylist too.

例えば好きだけど上手じゃないとか

For example, I like it but I'm not good at it.

人をまだ喜べらせられないっていう

"I can't make people happy yet."

段階も経て

After going through stages

だんだん自分が人を喜ばすことができて

Gradually, I'm able to bring joy to others.

その美容の

That beauty's

あの、ヘアだけじゃなくてね

Um, it's not just the hair, you know.

美容とかこうやってホリスティックなことを

Beauty and holistic things like this.

お伝えしていくことで

By communicating this...

人を喜ばすことができるっていう

Being able to make people happy.

ライフワークになっていったわけです

It became my life work.

それがおかげさまでこのスタンデフもね

Thanks to that, this stand desk too.

お金になってませんけど

It hasn't turned into money, though.

お金にずっとなってきてるからこそ

It's precisely because it has been turning into money all along.

お金がならないことも

Things that don't involve money.

続けられるっていうこともあったりしますね

There are also times when you can continue.

そして

And then

さらにもう一つなんですよ

There's one more thing, you know.

その上があるんです

There is something above that.

ライトワーク

Light work

人の心に光を灯す

To light a flame in people's hearts.

それはですね

Well, that is…

自分自身が輝いて

Shine your own light.

自分がやっていることが

What I'm doing is

明かりを、光を放ち

Emit light, shine brightly.

周りの人を照らしていく

Shining a light on the people around you.

その実際その手をかざす

"Actually, I raise that hand."

かかざさないかだけじゃなくて

It's not just about not holding back.

もうその人の在り方

The way that person exists.

仕事の仕方そのものが

The way of working itself

周りの人を照らしていく

Illuminate the people around you.

一人一人の心に

In each person's heart.

火をつけたり

Setting a fire.

周りの人を明るく照らしたり

Brightly illuminating the people around you.

ライトワーク

Lightwork

仕事の仕方生き方

Work style and way of life.

仕事の仕方そのものが

The way of working itself

世の中を照らす光になる

Become a light that illuminates the world.

そんなライトワークです

That’s light work.

私はね

I am you know.

やっぱりライトワークを目指したいですね

I still want to aim for light work.

自分のライフワーク

My life's work.

自分がなんかこう目指す

I aim for something like this.

自分の人生だけじゃなくて

Not just my own life, but...

周りの人たちを輝かしていくような

Shining brightly and uplifting those around you.

光の連鎖

Chain of Light

そして私も誰かによって輝かされている

And I too am being illuminated by someone.

っていうね

You know what I mean?

世の中を光で満たしていくような

Like filling the world with light.

思ってやっています

I am doing it with thought.

まだ58歳ですから

I'm still 58 years old.

まだまだそこが

Not yet there.

時にライスワークになり

Sometimes it becomes just a job.

時にライクワークになり

Sometimes it becomes like work.

そしてできるだけライフワークを

And as much as possible, my life work.

目指しながら

While aiming for it

最終的にはそのやっていること

Ultimately, it's what you're doing.

自分の生き方そのものが

My way of life itself

ライトワークになっていくような

It seems to be becoming light work.

ところを目指して

Aiming for that place

日々やっています

I do it every day.

このスタイフもねお金がどうとか

This style also has to do with money, you know?

ファンを作るとかそういうことじゃなくて

It's not about creating fans or anything like that.

それの練習というんですか

Is that what you call practice?

私がやっていることあり方が

What I am doing and how I am being.

何か誰かの役に立ったり

"Being of help to someone."

問題を解決することができる

I can solve the problem.

であれば嬉しいなと思って

"I'm hoping that would be the case."

その発信や

That transmission or communication.

喋る練習

Speaking practice

皆さんとのコミュニケーション

Communication with everyone.

一歩通行のようだけど

It seems like a one-way street, but...

私は喋ってる先に

I am speaking ahead.

たくさんの人をイメージしながら

Imagining many people.

喋っているので

Because I am talking

そんなコミュニケーションを作って

Create that kind of communication.

何かいい

Something good.

新しい価値を生み出していけたらな

I hope we can create new value.

と思っています

I think so.

ということで

この話はなぜかというと

The reason for this story is that

昨日23歳の男の子と喋っていて

I was chatting with a 23-year-old boy yesterday.

ライスワークだけじゃ嫌なんです

I don't want to just do rice work.

というようなことで

彼はしっかり自立して

He is firmly independent.

自分のビジネスを

My own business.

されていて

being done

やっぱり自分のやりたいこと

After all, it's about doing what I want to do.

そして人の役に立つことで

And by being useful to others.

働きたいんだということを

I want to work.

ライスワークって知ってるね

You know about "rice work," right?

という話で

この4つのワークの話をしたので
