ポケモンについて僕が思ったことをダラダラとトークしたものを撮れ流すだけの番組です。

記念すべき第一回目のお題は、

Mysterious seed.

はい、ということで不思議種でございます。

Yes, with that said, it's a mysterious seed.

不思議種は関東地方の五三家と呼ばれるポケモンですね。

The mysterious species is a Pokémon known as one of the "Gosan-ke" of the Kanto region.

博士から最初にもらえるポケモンの一匹。

One of the Pokémon you receive from the professor at the beginning.

関東図鑑でも全国図鑑でも図鑑ナンバー1のポケモンです。

It is the number one Pokémon in both the Kanto and national Pokédex.

基本的に全ての図鑑は不思議種から始まっております。

Basically, all the encyclopedias start with the mysterious species.

やっぱり最初に博士からもらえるポケモンなんで、

After all, it's the Pokémon you receive from the professor at the start, so...

人生の最初のパートナーポケモンっていう方も多いんじゃないでしょうか。

Many people might refer to it as their first partner Pokémon in life.

僕も初めてポケモンのファイアレッドリーフグリーンをプレイしたときに、

When I first played Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen,

不思議種を選んだ記憶がありますね。

I have a memory of choosing a mysterious seed.

ちなみに僕が初めてプレイしたポケモンはサファイアでしたね。

By the way, the first Pokémon game I played was Sapphire.

で、そんな不思議種なんですけれども、

何の動物がモチーフかってご存知ですか?

不思議種よく見ると足の先に爪があって、

あと牙が生えてたりとかするんで、

よく恐竜かなとか言われているんですけど、

People often say it might be a dinosaur, but...

実際はカエルなんですよね。

Actually, it's a frog.

特に実写映画の名探偵ピカチュウに出てきた不思議種めちゃめちゃカエルでした。

The mysterious species that appeared in the live-action movie Detective Pikachu was an incredibly frog.

体の表面がしっとりしてていい感じの質感でしたね。

The surface of the body was moist and had a nice texture.

名探偵ピカチュウ、実写だからちょっと触れづらいなっていう方も多いかもしれないんですけど、

Many people might find it a bit difficult to touch upon because it's a live-action adaptation of Detective Pikachu.

そしてゲーム内での不思議種の性能について語りましょうか。

Now, shall we discuss the performance of the mysterious seeds in the game?

不思議種はですね、やっぱ草タイプなので、

The mysterious species is, after all, a grass type.

トリッキーな技をたくさん覚えるんですね。

You're going to learn a lot of tricky techniques, aren't you?

例えば相手の体力を吸い取ることができる宿り木の種だったりとか、

For example, it could be a mistletoe seed that can absorb the opponent's stamina.

あとは相手を状態状にするしびれ粉、眠り粉、毒の粉とかね。

And then there are the powders that can inflict status conditions on the opponent, like paralysis powder, sleep powder, and poison powder.

なのでストーリーをプレイするにあたってめちゃくちゃ戦いやすいんですよ。

So it's really easy to fight when playing through the story.

例えばストーリー上で結構体力が削れちゃって、

For example, during the story, my stamina gets quite depleted,

傷薬とか、

Ointment or something like that,

買う必要が出てくると、

When the need to buy arises,

思うんですけど、不思議種の場合って、

I think that in the case of mysterious seeds,

相手のHPを吸い取るような技がいっぱいあるので、

There are plenty of techniques that can drain the opponent's HP, so...

回復にお金をかけなくてもよくなる。

You won't need to spend money on recovery.

し、あとは状態状にすれば野生のポケモンも捕まえやすい。

And if you adjust the conditions, it will also be easier to catch wild Pokémon.

ボールの節約もできる。

You can also save on balls.

あと状態状は強力なんで、やっぱりバトルでも勝ちやすい。

Also, since the condition is strong, it's definitely easier to win in battles.

個人的にはね、結構初心者向けのポケモンなんじゃないかなっていう風に思っております。

Personally, I think it's quite a beginner-friendly Pokémon.

僕もね、ファイアレッドリーフグリーン時代に、

友達とバトルやっぱりするんですけども、

I'm going to battle with my friends after all, but...

あのゲームボーイアドバンスSPに、

That Game Boy Advance SP,

ワイヤレスアダプターっていう黒いかまぼこみたいなやつガチョってつけて、

それで通信して対戦してたんですけど、

友達はね、みんなヒトカゲとかゼニガメ選んでて、

My friends are all choosing Charmander or Squirtle.

不思議種ね、なんか知らんけど人気なかったんですよね。

It's a mysterious species; for some reason, it wasn't very popular.

そんな中、僕は不思議種を選んで、

In the midst of that, I chose the mysterious seed,

眠りゴナと宿り木の種をぶちまけて、

Scattering sleep-inducing pollen and mistletoe seeds,

吸い取るとか、メガドレイン、ギガドレインで回復しつつ殴るっていう、

"Attacking while recovering with moves like Absorb, Mega Drain, and Giga Drain,"

とんでもない陰キャ戦法で勝ちまくってましたね。

You were winning with some outrageous introverted strategies.

おかげで、僕の周りみんな不思議種系列のアンチになってました。

Thanks to that, everyone around me has become an anti-fan of the Mystery Seed series.

いやー、あれは、

Well, that is...

あれはちょっとね、申し訳なかったね、今思うと。

Looking back, I feel a bit sorry about that.

まあ、ちょっと話が逸れちゃいましたけど、

Well, the conversation got a bit sidetracked, but...

もし初代ポケモンだったりとか、

If it were the first-generation Pokémon,

ファイアレッドリフグリーンもう一回やるような機会がある方は、

不思議種選ぶとですね、

とても有利にバトルを進めることができるんで、おすすめです。

朝、不思議種に鶴の鞭でバチコーンって叩き起こされて、

In the morning, I was suddenly woken up with a bang by the crane's whip from the mysterious seed.

で、一緒にベランダとか庭とかで日向ぼっこして、

So, let's sunbathe together on the balcony or in the garden.

一日が始まる、みたいな。

It feels like a day is starting.

で、日が沈んだら、

So, when the sun sets,

多分もう太陽ねーわって早めに寝るんですよ、不思議種は。

The mysterious ones go to bed early, thinking that the sun has probably already set.

なので、おのずとトレーナー側も、

Therefore, naturally, the trainers on their side also...

早寝するようになって、

I've started going to bed early,

また次の日早く起きて、みたいなサイクルが生まれて、

A cycle was created where I would wake up early the next day, and so on.

健康になれるんじゃないかな。

I think I can become healthier.

なんかあれっすね、語ってて思ったけど、

不思議種ってもしかして、

おじいちゃんおばあちゃん向けのポケモンなんじゃないすかね。

I think it's a Pokémon aimed at grandpas and grandmas.

なんかこう、旅に出る元気な子供のパートナーっていうよりも、

早寝早起きのサイクルが加速した、

おじいちゃんおばあちゃん向けなんじゃないかなっていう、
