#09 はじめてのグループ面接

今まさにねちょっと就活中ということで

I'm currently in the middle of job hunting.

このいわゆる面接みたいなものを昨日受けてきたんですけれども

I had this so-called interview yesterday.

人生初のグループ面接というのを経験したんですよね

I experienced my first group interview in my life.

でまあそれグループ面接っていうもので

So, that's something called a group interview.

まあオンラインしかもオンラインだったんですけど

Well, it was online, and it was online.

学生が4人で職員が2人

There are four students and two staff members.

で職員2人のうち1人が質問をしてくるというような感じで

僕が受けてるのは公務員なんで省庁なんですけど

I'm taking the civil service exam, so it's for government agencies.

この省庁にまつわるような

ちょっとパッとした質問みたいなのを出されて

I was asked a question that seemed a bit sudden.

その時聞かれたのは現代社会で一番

それはどうやったら解決できますかとか

学生時代なんでそういうこと思ったのみたいな

それでこうなんか学生時代のサークルの話みたいな話に立ち返って

So, it's like returning to the stories from my student days and the club activities.

私はサークル時代にまあこういう難しいことがあって

During my circle days, there were quite a few difficult things like this.

In situations like this, I can't help but think that it's a bit problematic, right?

なんかそういう変なあの防衛戦みたいなのが働いて

なかなかうまいこと言えないみたいなところもあると思って

I think there are moments when it's difficult to express things well.

まず1番目って結構難しいですよね

なんかどのぐらいこうあの質問で掘られるかっていう相場感もわかんないし

I don't really have a sense of how deeply they will dig into that question.

こうあこのぐらいのあのまあ抽象度っていうか粒感でいけば

まああんまり掘られることもない突っ込まれることもないなとかわかるんですけど

Well, I can understand that it's not something that gets dug into or probed very much.
