ウェルビングと出会った言葉と出会ったのは

I encountered the word "well-being."

一年ちょっと前ぐらい

About a little over a year ago.

なんだろうな

I wonder what it is.

こうお金とか数字とか

Things like money and numbers

なんかどうしても目に見える

I somehow can't help but see it.

比較しやすいものと

Something that is easy to compare.

それって定量的で

That's quantitative.

分かりやすいんだけども

It's easy to understand, but...

じゃなくて

Not that.

訂正的と言うか

It's more of a correction, you could say.

すごくワクワクするとか

It's really exciting.

この場がすごくヒョッか

This place is really weird.

そういう測れないものってあって

There are things that cannot be measured like that.

結構そっちを大切にされない感じ

It feels like you don't cherish that much over there.

中で

Inside.

多くのあの今まで大変な会社

Many of those companies that have been difficult until now.

システムエンジニアで働いてたので

I was working as a systems engineer.

無くなっちゃって

It's gone.

何かそれじゃない世界にしたら

What if we create a world that isn't like that?

laude 調べ上がってくれてるけど staying up all night

Laude has been investigating, but staying up all night.

俺 overwhelmed by world class

I am overwhelmed by world class.

で貼ったか暮らしたいなぁ働きたいなぁ って思った時に1年前にそのやっぱり

I thought I wanted to live and work like that, and then a year ago, I realized it again.

指標数字っていうのも客観的なものだけ じゃなくて自分が今の生活にどれくらい

Indicators aren't just objective; they're also about how much they reflect your current life.

満足してるかっていう主観的な指標とかも 大事だよねっていうのがこう言い始めて

It's important to start talking about subjective indicators like whether you're satisfied or not.

でそれを21年ウェルビング元年って 言われてるんですけどそのタイミングくらい

It’s said that 2021 is the year of well-being, around that timing.

からもう あの盛り上がってき始めてて内面の豊かさ

It's starting to get exciting, and the richness of the inner self is emerging.

っていうものをインとしても指標として 用いてあ大切にし始めてるんだがっていう

I'm beginning to value it as an indicator, even if it's just something to rely on.

これいいじゃんっていうのを僕の中ではい すごくハマってしまってまぁそこまで

I think this is really good; I've really gotten into it, and well, that's about it.

ねー いろいろあの自分の内面を整えるみたいな

Hey, it's like organizing my inner self in various ways.

のはあの哲学だったり心理学だったりあの 宗教だったりあなたそういうのをいろいろ

It's a mix of philosophy, psychology, and religion, among other things.

学んできて

I have been learning.

なんか同じこと言ってるなぁの中でじゃあ 今時ってなった時にあちょうど今

It feels like I'm saying the same thing, but when it comes to now, it's just right now.

ウェルビングきてるみたいなそういう ところでああいう感じでございますはい

指標というか物差しにこうはめ込まれて たくさん稼ぐと偉いと高学齢だ高学歴だと

It's like being fitted into a framework or a yardstick where earning a lot is considered great, and having a higher education level is valued.

幸せになれるみたいな謎のものさしにすごく こう繰り締められてきている人たちも多い

Many people seem to be tightly constrained by some mysterious yardstick that determines their happiness.

じゃないかなってねローニャクロニャンニョ そんな中で

I wonder if that's the case, Ronya Kuro-nyan-nyo, among all this.

ねとしさんがご自身のねその人生とか ストーリーの中でそうじゃないんじゃない

そうですねあのウェルビングだけではなく てもちろんその仏教思想があの心理学

Well, not just well-being, but of course, that Buddhist thought is related to psychology.

とかなんかいろんなこう思考の フレームワークとかなんかこう

Various thought frameworks and things like that.

引用するエビデンスとか引き出しっていう のあればあるほどいいなって思ってるん

I think the more evidence and references there are, the better.

ですけど

However,

なんていうかこうウェルビーイングのいい ところってすごく包括的というか

What can I say, the good thing about well-being is that it's very inclusive.

あの範囲が広いんですよね 要は個々の幸せってなんだろう人が幸せに

That range is wide, isn't it? In other words, what is individual happiness? What makes people happy?

生きるってなんだろうっていうものをすべて 包括しているのがウェルビーイングだって

Everything that encapsulates the question of what it means to live is encompassed by well-being.

いるので

Because (someone/something) is present.

によって具体的に何かが変わるそうだなぁ なんかあの

It seems that something specific is going to change because of that. Well, you know...

そうですね人が幸せに生きるっていうこと がなんか抽象的なものだけではなくてそれ

をちゃんと幸せ研究とってエビデンスとし てそれこそ

"To properly study happiness and use it as evidence, that's exactly it."

なのなんていうのかな 雰囲気だけでは納得しない人たちに納得

I wonder what to call it—those people who won't be convinced by just the atmosphere.

できるように なんかもういろいろな言うんですよ

They say various things so that it can be done.

ブーブー今世界的にもどんどん研究があの 進んできて

Boo-boo, research is progressing more and more globally now.

なってるっていうのが 僕が誰かに伝えるための言語を手に入れた

獲得的だっていう話

It's a story about being acquisitive.

雑誌を積み上げて積み上げて

Stacking up magazines upon magazines.

こう何段高く登れたから幸せっていう幸せが

The happiness of being able to climb this high is what happiness truly is.

シンデレラみたいな海外の昔話とかでも

Even in foreign fairy tales like Cinderella,

やっぱり

As expected.

結ばれてハッピーエンドっていうところが

The part about being united and having a happy ending.

やっぱハッピーなんですよね

I guess it's really happy, isn't it?

でもやっぱり

But after all...

元の日常に戻る穏やかな日々を縁側で

Returning to peaceful days of everyday life on the sunroom.

ちょっと進んでたいみたいな

I want to make a little progress.

そういう

Like that.

みたいなところはあって

There are aspects like that.

なんかすごく生き甲斐っていう言葉も

Somehow, the word "ikigai" (a reason for being) feels really significant.

そういう日常を営めることに対する幸せ

The happiness of being able to live such a daily life.

そこに幸せを見出してるっていう

They say they find happiness there.

なんかそこはすごく通じる部分があるんだろうな

I guess there’s a part that really resonates there.

っていうのは感じたりしてますね

I feel that way sometimes.

なんか北米でねよくある

It's something that's often seen in North America.

なんかマーベルって言っちゃったけど

I ended up saying "Marvel" for some reason.

そういうねヒーロー映画とかストーリー

That kind of hero movie or story.

わかりやすいストーリー

A clear story.

日本映画ってまたちょっと映画にもよりますけど

It depends a bit on the specific Japanese films, but...

ちょっとわかりにくかったりとか

It was a little hard to understand.

なんかこうポエティックっていうか

It's kind of poetic, or something.

今ここにある何か言語化できないものでも美しいよねとか

Even something that can't be expressed in words, like what is here now, is beautiful, isn't it?

愛おしいよねっていうような

It's something like saying, "It's so dear, isn't it?"

なんかそういう違いもね

Well, there are those kinds of differences too.

一概には言えないけど

なんか分けるとそういう風にも見えてくるのかなって思ったりしますね

In the UN charter, or rather the WHO charter.

福祉、身体的、社会的の

Welfare, physical, social

そのそれぞれが全部こう

Each of those is like this.

満たされてるっていう状態

A state of being fulfilled.

健康とか健やかって言っても

Even if we talk about health or being healthy,

身体が健やかでも心が元気じゃなかったら意味ないよねとか

"Even if the body is healthy, it doesn't mean anything if the mind isn't well."

繋がりがなかったら

If there were no connections.

それって健やかって言えないよねみたいな

That's not something you could call healthy, right?

なるほど

I see.

世界全体通じて健康な状態っていう

The term "healthy state" applies globally.

ウェルビングな状態っていうのってどういう状態っていうので

What do you mean by a state of well-being?

身体と心と社会的に豊かに満たされてること

Being abundantly fulfilled physically, mentally, and socially.

そっからWHOからだったんですね

ウェルビーイングって普通にでよく聞くし

なんとなく使っちゃうけどどっから来たんだろうって

I use it kind of without thinking, but I wonder where it came from.

実はあんまり知らなかったなと思っていて

Actually, I realize I didn't know that much.

きっとその中にWHOさんがウェルビーイングだっていう

Surely among them, there is someone from WHO saying it's well-being.

そのコンセプトを作るまでに

Until that concept was created.

東洋哲学とか日本の生きがい的なものとか

Eastern philosophy and things like the Japanese sense of purpose.

いろいろなものが混じってこういう

グローバルというか世界共通のコンセプトみたいなものが生まれたのかなって

数えたら30超えてたんですけど年間で

なんかやっぱりすごい

いろんな切り口とか考え方ってあって

なんかそういうことをできるだけこう知識ゼロからわかりやすく

あと僕自身すごく子どもとか子育て教育保育みたいなそういったところに興味があって

I am really interested in children and areas like child-rearing and education.

もともとその保育システムのエンジニアっていうのをやって業界10年どっぷり使ってたんで

I originally worked as an engineer for that childcare system and was deeply involved in the industry for ten years.

なんかそういった子どもかけるウェルビーイングみたいな話だったりとか

It was something like a discussion about children's well-being.

なんかそういったことも含めて話せたらなと思っています

I hope we can talk about things like that too.

そうですねセブンシースクールさんのメンバーさんとすごくいろいろ関わりを持っていて

That's right, I've had a lot of interactions with the members of Seven Seas School.

いろいろ関わりをもともと持たせていただいてて

I have been able to have various connections.

でやっぱりその興味関心の重なり具合がすごくあるなっていうのは感じてたんですよね

And I really felt that there was a significant overlap in our interests and concerns.

確かにな僕自身も今までの1年の学び大人卸しするいいタイミングだなと思ってコラボさせていただいたんですけれども

Sure, I thought it was a good timing to collaborate, as I myself have learned a lot over the past year.

やっぱりその同じ子どもとか子育てとかで子どもだけじゃなくて大人もらしい対話とかコミュニティの中で

After all, it's not just about children but also about adults, within a community that fosters meaningful dialogue regarding children and parenting.

成長し学び合気みたいななんかそういったところと

あとはそれがなんというかよく生きるっていうこのウェルビングと

And then, how should I put it, it's about living well, this well-being and...

すごく変わるというか大事なところだなと思っていて

I think it's a really important point that changes a lot.

まあその子どものウェルビングだったり

Well, it's about the child's well-being.

子どもをウェルビングするんだったらまずは幼くベルフィングにならなきゃねだって

If you want to ensure children's well-being, you first need to become a young well-being yourself.

そうですよね
