Hello everyone, this is Mr. Oguchi, the radio personality for three songs.

This is Yanagisawa.

In this program, there's Oguchi-kun, who really loves music.

I like Yanagisawa just a little bit.

I am introducing three songs that I like.

はい

Yes.

Here comes the second round!

It's the second time, isn't it?

Is there anything that Yanagisawa has been angry about recently?

I am angry sometimes.

I'm always angry about something.

What are you angry about?

Recently, it's the expiration date for the bread.

The one who is angry is...

Expiration date of the bread.

I wonder what it is.

I'm living alone.

I understand, I'll buy some bread.

I will buy it, I will buy it.

買います

I will buy it.

It's been about four days since I bought it.

It's surprisingly short, isn't it?

That's right, that's right, that's right, that's right.

It's like, you know, bread.

It seems like it could go a bit further as an object, right?

I feel like staple foods should originally have a stronger presence.

Yes, yes, yes, yes.

It basically only lasts for 4 days.

Well, six slices are just right, aren't they?

I don't know, but...

I think so.

Well, there might be some people who are a 6 or maybe even a decent 8.

Well, it's just average, like a 6.

That's right, that's right, yes, 6.

If I eat at 6 every morning,

We're short by two days.

Yeah, that's right, in four days.

That's right, that's right, that's right.

And realizing that...

I tried buying that 4 once.

Together.

You're being swayed by the expiration date.

Try buying four pieces.

But it's a little thick, you know.

If you try buying just four, you know...

The three cuts mean that the player is in control.

The player is driving either 4, 6, or 8 inputs.

Four is not a lot, though.

そう

Yes.

Speaking of which,

I know a simple solution.

No, no, that's not true.

This should be an eternal challenge.

I've known this since then.

My life might have changed quite a bit.

Please buy bread.

It's better to freeze it right away for better taste.

That's why it's definitely better frozen.

Yeah, it's definitely better when frozen.

Come to think of it, it's surprising, isn't it?

You know, frozen stuff just has a slippery feeling to it.

Exactly, like fresh food and things like that.

If you freeze it, the freshness tends to decline a bit.

I had a not-so-good image of it.

Regarding sliced bread.

The point is that if you freeze it, the moisture will be properly preserved.

Like leaving it outside for those three days?

Rather than storing at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

It's better to freeze it completely for that delicious taste.

Well, freshly baked is probably the most delicious.

Next, the delicious one is properly that.

The ones that are frozen as early as possible are better.

I basically keep all my bread in the freezer.

Well then, before that expiration date hits, etc.

I'm going to freeze it soon before it starts to go bad.

If you buy it, I think it's fine to eat the first piece right away if you're going to eat it.

Basically, when you put it in the freezer, it's really surprising.

But it seems like thawing would be difficult, right?

うん

Yeah.

Is it like a Yanagisawa toaster for toasting?

Is that so? I think it would be better frozen next time.

Um, I think it would be better to freeze it this time for more flavor.

Um, I think freezing it would make it taste better next time, but there's that thing on the stove where you can grill fish, right?

Ah, yes, yes, yes.

It's being grilled over there.

You should probably add about 40 seconds extra to the baking time.

Oh, I see.

Frozen items.

It's not like I'm going to see something amazing.

That's right, that's right, that's right, that's right.

Put it in the toaster while it's frozen and hard.

If you just give it a quick try, adding 40 seconds will totally make it doable.

It's not about offal or anything, but that's really impressive that you think it tastes better.

That way is better, I hear.

Really, you should definitely give it a try.

うわー

Wow!

I think bread that has been frozen for a month is way better than bread that has been at room temperature for 3 or 4 days.

へー

Oh really?

うん

Yeah.

I didn't know, but it really is a good life helpful radio.

It's not like it's a lifestyle helpful radio or anything.

It's different.

違うの

It's different.

Just a radio program with three songs, for now.

Oh, I see.

By the way, when uploading on Spotify, you have to decide on the genre of music for the radio.

Music history and

I'm turning it into music history and comedy.

違う

Different.

It's not a life.

Include my life too.

Since the topic of bread has come up only once.

For now, just cut me some slack.

Okay.

Well, that's fine.

Thank you for the story about being angry.

はい

Yes

第2回

The 2nd time

Today is the second session, and the theme for the second session is

はい

Yes

It's jazz on a rainy day.

Jazz on a rainy day

Back to jazz again.

In jazz

Following the first session, it's jazz again.

Yeah, I guess when it comes to chatting away, it really seems like jazz is the easiest.

Oh, I see.

そんな

Such a thing

It really is about those rainy days this time.

I'm always thinking about what theme to choose, and recently it's the rainy season, and the rain in Tokyo is really intense right now. Isn't the rain really heavy for you too, Yanagi?

I live in Naha City, so just a little.

It's been really hot all along.

But today it was really raining a lot.

All of a sudden.

I see.

Yes, yes, yes, it was a strange weather today in Naha City, clear but it seemed like it was raining.

I wonder what the temperature is in Naha right now, usually.

It's been around 30 to 31 degrees consistently.

I see, so that really is hot.

It's hot, but the temperature is much higher in areas like the Kanto region.

Even in the summer, Naha doesn't get that hot, temperature-wise.

I see, I've never been there, so I don't know the climate at all.

The humidity is just incredibly high, incredibly high.

I see.

Yes, it's about jazz on a rainy day.

That's right, that's right, that's right, that's right.

It's like wanting to listen to something on a rainy day.

I think it's nice to listen to a somewhat melancholic jazz on a rainy day.

That's amazing! I was thinking of coming up with the ultimate playlist, so I've thought about it a little bit.

After all, there are just too many songs, and it's becoming difficult, so let's just…

I thought I'd try a different way to enjoy jazz by exploring various patterns within a single piece.

As I introduced in the first session, the idea of various people playing jazz standards, which are classic songs, really embodies the essence of true jazz.

It's delicious.

It's the way of thinking in jazz.

This time is a bit...

Everything happens to me

Everything happens to me.

It's a jazz standard.

I have something to say, but...

This is for three people.

In a different person's version.

I prepared it for you.

I would like to keep listening.

I can't imagine it at all.

Well, to begin with...

I think I’ll just say it suddenly.

"Then, the first song."

With Chet Baker.
