作曲上達を目指すならっていう前提付きの話ですね

This is a conversation based on the premise of aiming to improve composition skills.

だから上達をそこまで目指してないとかね

That's why I'm not aiming to improve that much, you know?

自分の楽しみのためだけにやってますみたいな場合は

If it's the case that you're doing it just for your own enjoyment...

ちょっとこれ当てはまらないので

This doesn't quite apply.

そういう目的で作曲をしている場合にはね

In cases where compositions are made for such purposes, you know.

参考程度に聞いてみてほしいんですけど

I would like you to ask just for reference.

作曲を進めていく中で特に初心者の人から

While progressing in composition, especially from beginners,

中級ぐらいまで差し掛かるぐらいの人で

For people who are around the intermediate level.

曲に結構時間をかけて

I spend quite a bit of time on the song.

1曲をすごく練り上げてね

Polish up a single song really well.

隙がないものになるように

To ensure there are no gaps.

あれこれとね

Various things, you know.

それを磨きをかけるみたいな

It's like polishing it up.

頑張るみたいな人は多いですけど

There are many people who seem to be trying their best, but...

これはつまり完璧な状態を目指しているパターンなんですけど

This is essentially a pattern aiming for a perfect state.

この場合は曲作りを始めて

In this case, let's start making music.

部分的なメロディとかコードを作ることに

Creating partial melodies or chords.

そもそも時間がかかったりとか

In the first place, it takes time and so on.

あとはそれをAメロとか

The rest is like the A melody or something.

サビとか

Rust and so on.

一つのセクションにまとめ上げることにも時間をかけたり

It takes time to consolidate it into one section.

あとは1曲にすることにも時間がかかったりとかね

It also took time to condense it into just one song.

ああでもないこうでもないみたいな

Something like this or that.

作っては消し作っては消しみたいな感じで

It's like making and erasing over and over again.

曲を磨き上げようとする感じなんですけど

It's that feeling of trying to refine the song.

DTMで曲作ってる場合は

If you're making music with DTM (Desktop Music), then...

さらにそこにアレンジの観点が入ったりとか

Furthermore, aspects of arrangement are included there as well.

どんなサウンドでどういうラインで

What kind of sound and what kind of line?

どういう音の雰囲気をね

What kind of atmosphere of sound is it?

そこに生み出すかとか

Whether to create it there or not.

エフェクトをどうするかとかね

Like what to do with the effects, you know?

音圧とかバランスとかね

Sound pressure and balance, you know.

そういったいわゆるサウンド面の手も加わってくるんで

So, it will also involve the so-called sound aspects.

より時間がかかってくるんですけど

It will take more time, though.

そんな感じでいろいろ曲作りに

In that way, I'm working on creating various songs.

ああでもないこうでもない時間を使い

Wasting time debating this and that.

磨き上げる完璧を目指すみたいな感じで取り組むんですけど

It feels like I'm working towards achieving perfection by polishing things up.

この完璧じゃないとダメだみたいな

It's like you have to be perfect or else.

気持ちを持ってる限りですね

As long as you have feelings.

特に初心者から中級に差し掛かるぐらいまでの

Especially from beginner to about intermediate level.

うちはですね

We are, you see.

これやってるとなかなか曲が完成しないってところに

When you’re doing this, it’s hard for the song to be completed.

つながってしまいますよね

It will become connected, won't it?

完璧を求めてるともう終わりがないっていうか

If you're seeking perfection, it feels like there's never an end.

時間をかけようと思えばいくらでもかけられてしまうので

If you think you can take your time, you can take as much as you want.

だから私がお勧めしてるのはやっぱある程度のところで

So what I'm recommending is still to some extent.

見切りをつけてこんなもんかなっていう感じで

It feels like I've reached a conclusion and this is about it.

どんどん曲を完成させるっていうね

"To keep completing songs."

やり方お勧めしてます

I recommend ways to do it.

そもそもその完璧の尺度が結構曖昧で

In the first place, the standard of perfection is quite ambiguous.

で完璧

Perfectly fine.

だともうこれで完璧なんだと思っても

Even if I think this is perfect now...

例えば1時間後にそれが完璧だと思えなくなるみたいなケースよくあって

For example, there are often cases where you might not think it's perfect an hour later.

特に今慣れてない頃ってその完璧の物差し自体が曖昧なので

Especially when you're not used to it, the very standard of perfection is ambiguous.

だから本人は完璧だと思ってやってても

So even if the person thinks they are perfect while doing it,

それが見当違いな修正を繰り返しちゃうっていうか

It's more like it keeps making misdirected corrections.

そういうケースも結構多いですよね

There are quite a few cases like that, aren't there?

初心者のうちはやれることにも限りがあるし

As a beginner, there are limits to what you can do.

いくら完璧なものを求めるってね

No matter how much you seek perfection.

分としても割とその差というかね

Even if it's just by a minute, there's quite a difference, you know.

それやったことで出来上がる曲の品質には

The quality of the songs that come out from doing that.

そこまで大差がないみたいなところもあったりするので

It seems that there are also areas where there isn't much difference.

だから完璧なものを求めて曲作りに時間を使いすぎてしまうことが

That's why I tend to spend too much time on songwriting in search of perfection.

結構こうあんまり良い効果が生まないっていうかね

It's not really producing good effects, you know.

そういうところに繋がりやすいので

Because it's easy to connect to those kinds of places.

だからこそ思考を切り替えて

That's why it's important to shift your thinking.

曲を作りきることに意識を向けた方がいいってのが

It's better to focus on completing the song.

私の感想です

This is my impression.

作りきることで作りきれたっていう達成感が得られるし

By completing it, you can gain a sense of achievement that comes from having fully created it.

自分でも作れるんだなっていう自信が持てるし

It gives me confidence that I can make it myself.

作りきったことで見えてくるものがあるっていうかね

It's like there are things that become clearer once you've completed something.

何ができて何ができなかったかっていうのが見えてくるし

You can see what can be done and what couldn't be done.

自分の実力というか立ち位置が分かるし

It helps me understand my own abilities and position.

今後やるべきことが見えてくるし

You'll see what you need to do going forward.

調達に向かって効率よくステップアップしていくことができるので

You can efficiently step up towards procurement.

だからやっぱり作りきるところを意識すべきっていうのが私の考えですね

So my thought is that we should definitely be conscious of the importance of completing what we start.

これは当然のことながら

This is, of course, natural.

作曲する上で極力いいものを作ろうっていう

We aim to create the best possible work when composing.

完璧を目指そうっていうね

Let's aim for perfection.

その気持ちを持つことは大事で

It's important to have that feeling.

それがないとただ雑な作曲を繰り返してるだけになっちゃうので

Without that, it would just be a repetition of careless composition.

だから完璧を求めようとする

That's why I try to seek perfection.

その気持ち自体は悪いことではないですよね

That feeling itself is not a bad thing, is it?

でもそれが行き過ぎて

But that goes too far.

完璧なものじゃなきゃダメだみたいなのになっちゃうと

If it becomes something like "it has to be perfect," then...

なかなか切ないところに入ってしまうので

It's going to get quite emotional.

結果として時間を使いすぎて

As a result, I've spent too much time.

作曲が前に進んでいかないみたいなね

It feels like the composition isn't progressing.

技術としてはやっぱり停滞することになっちゃうんで

As a technology, it will inevitably lead to stagnation.

だから作曲をツールでよりいいものを作るっていう意識を持つことは大事なんですけど

So it's important to have the awareness that making better compositions with tools is essential.

そこにあまりにも執着しすぎずに

Don't get too attached to it.

持てる力を振り絞って

With all the strength I can muster.

曲はある程度納得できると

The song is somewhat acceptable.

作り込んだらあとはそこで見切りつけて

Once you’ve finished crafting it, you should then cut your losses there.

どんどん押し上げるっていう風にやる

Let's do it in a way that keeps pushing upwards.

完璧を求めすぎないっていうのがやっぱり大事だと

I think it's important not to demand perfection too much.

言えますね

I can say that.

これは以前別のとこでもお話ししたんですけど

I talked about this before in another place.

完璧を求めて

In pursuit of perfection.

なかなか曲を完成させないっていう

It's difficult to finish songs.

その行為はですね

That action is...

実は曲を完成させることを避けている状態とも言えるんですよね

In fact, you could say that I am in a state of avoiding completing the song.

完成させることをビビってるっていうか

It's not that I'm scared of finishing it, but...

完成させたくないっていう風に逃げてるみたいな状態とも言えて

It can be said that it's a state of just wanting to escape without wanting to complete things.

完璧じゃない曲を

An imperfect song.

そのまま

As it is.

完成させることって

Completing something

つまりは

In other words,

自分の現状の作曲技術を

My current composition skills.

証明することになってしまうんですよね

It will end up needing to be proven, won't it?

だから納得できない状態のものを

So, things that are in a state that I can't accept.

完成っていうところに持っていくことで

By bringing it to a point of completion.

納得できないものしか作れない自分の技術とか

The skills that can only create things I can't accept.

現在の自分の作曲の状態とかセンスとか

Current state of my composition and my sense.

っていうのを自分で痛感することになっちゃうと

When you come to realize that for yourself, it becomes...

だから

So.

まだこんなもんじゃないよみたいな

It's still not that great, or something like that.

まだこんなもんじゃ完成させられないんだよみたいな感じで

It's like, "I can't finish this yet, this isn't enough."

完璧なものになるまで自分は作曲を続けるんだみたいな

"I will continue composing until I create something perfect."

そういう最もらしい理由をつけて

With a seemingly plausible reason like that

なかなか曲を完成に持っていかないと

I can't seem to finish the song.

それは言い方を変えると

To put it another way,

単純に曲作りが完璧なものっていうね

Simply, it's about making perfect music.

名前を使って言い方を使って

Using your name and the way to say it.

曲を完成させることを逃げてるだけだっていう風に

It seems like I'm just running away from finishing the song.

言えますよね

You can say that, right?

完成を避けている限りはやっぱり曲は仕上がっていかないし

As long as I'm avoiding completion, the song won't really come together.

やっぱどっかでこれで行こうっていう風にやんないと

After all, if you don't decide to go with this somewhere, then...

曲は完成しないし前に進んでいかないので

The song isn't completed and I'm not making any progress.

だからやっぱりそこの完璧っていうものを

So after all, that perfection there...

ちょっとこう優先度ちょっと下げて

"Can you lower the priority a bit?"

ある程度のとこでもうこれでOKっていう風に

In a certain sense, I think this is good enough.

するその思い切りっていうかね

It's that determination, you know.

その曲作りを完成を優先させるという風に

In that way of prioritizing the completion of the song creation.

するっていうか作りきることを優先するっていう

It's not just about doing it, but prioritizing completing it.

そこをやっぱり意識することがやっぱ大事ですね

It's really important to be aware of that, after all.

その逃げずに完成に持っていくっていうかね

It's about not running away and seeing it through to completion.

でそれがやっぱ経験値になるし

And that ultimately becomes experience points.

上達が実現できるというかね

It's more like achieving improvement.

どっかで見切りをつけて完成させる

Set a deadline somewhere and complete it.

でやっぱある程度のとこで見切りをつけて

So I guess I have to draw the line somewhere.

もうこんなもんかなって言ってやって

Just say, "I guess this is it."

完璧なものじゃなくても

Even if it's not perfect.

作りきることを優先する人が

People who prioritize finishing things.

やっぱり上達速度としては早いという風に感じますね

I definitely feel that the rate of improvement is fast.

どんどんこう作って

Keep making it like this more and more.

こんなもんでしょって作りきって

"Isn't this good enough?"

それを繰り返す人の方がやっぱり

Those who repeat that are indeed...

先に進んでいく感じがやっぱありますね

I can definitely feel a sense of moving forward.

だからそういうところにちょっとこう

So in that kind of place, just a little bit like this...

気持ちを切り替えて

Switch your mindset.

完璧に一曲を完璧なものになるまで

Until one song becomes perfect.

いつまでもこねくり回すのではないかと

I wonder if it will keep getting twisted forever.

思うんですけど

I think that...

やっぱり上達を目指すのではなくて

Instead of aiming for improvement,

持てる力を持って使って

Use the power you have.

もう全部作曲をして

I've already composed everything.

である程度やり切ったら

Once you've done it to a certain extent.

もうこれでOKっていう風にするっていう

It means "To make it so that this is already okay."

そういう感じで進めていくっていうのがね

It's about moving forward in that way.

上達を目指す上では大事かなと思いますね

I think it's important to aim for improvement.

であまりにその完璧を求め過ぎず

できてない部分も許容しながらですね
