♯39 意識は簡単に変わらないけど、変えられる（教室での事例を通したお話し）

みなさまこんにちは お久しぶりのお久しぶり

Hello everyone, long time no see!

いつぶりなのかわからないような投稿でございますが

It's a post that I'm not sure how long it's been since the last one.

久しぶりにスタッフおよびスポッティファイやってみようかな

It's been a while; maybe I should try Spotify with the staff.

ポッドキャストか やってみたいなと思いました

I thought it would be nice to try doing a podcast.

お友達がスタッフやるよということで第一弾を投稿したのに刺激を受けたわけですが

I was inspired after my friend posted the first edition saying that they would be part of the staff.

忙しい季節ですよね

It's a busy season, isn't it?

フリーランスの方って皆さん確定申告だの

Freelancers all have to deal with tax returns and such.

確定申告やら確定申告などなど確定申告しか言ってませんが

I keep talking about tax returns and tax returns and just tax returns.

まあとりあえずねもう15日は過ぎましたので皆さんは確定申告が終わったかと思いますが

毎年この季節は絶対個展は入れちゃいけないなと思い返されるわけですが

Every year, I reflect on how I should never schedule a solo exhibition during this season.

また新規の物件を賃貸スタートさせたこともあって

京都のアートギャラリー北野というギャラリーで展覧会を開催します

We will hold an exhibition at the art gallery Kitano in Kyoto.

今回はですね

みなりっていうインターナショナルチームを私たち作っているんですけれども

We are creating an international team called Minari.

そのインターナショナルチームの作品展となります

This will be an exhibition of works by the international team.

今ちょっとねやっとそのDMのデータができて

I just finished preparing the DM data.

12時までに入稿しないといけないんですけど

I have to submit it by 12 o'clock.

あの久しぶりになんかちょっと気が向いたので音声を撮ってみようかなと

I felt a little inspired for the first time in a while, so I thought I might try recording some audio.

で今まだデータ送信してないにもかかわらずこんなことやり始めてしまう

Even though I haven't sent the data yet, I have started doing something like this.

あの集中力不足な私でございますが

I may lack concentration, but...

まあ7カ国といっても

Well, even though it's seven countries...

住んでる国と国籍が違ったりするので

Because the country I live in is different from my nationality.

なんかこれってちょっと日本人にとってすごく説明しにくいですよね

This is really hard to explain for Japanese people, isn't it?

ドイツから来られるのはスペイン人でみたいなね

It seems like you're saying that someone coming from Germany is like a Spaniard, right?

なんかそこまで説明してるとあれなので

I feel like it's unnecessary to explain further than that.

一応彼女もドイツで結婚してドイツ人らしいので

Just in case, she seems to have married in Germany and is like a German.

ドイツ人という風に書いてますが

It says that you are German, but...

そんなことでですね

Well, with that being said,

たくさんのいろんな国の作家さんが集結して

Many writers from various countries have gathered.

展示会を行います

8人で会場をシェアするので

Since we will share the venue with eight people,

まあそれぞれがね少しずつの作品

Well, each one is a little piece of work.

展示にはなると思うんですけれども

I think it will be a display.

なんかこんなねちょっとインターナショナル

It feels a bit international like this.

私たちが自分たちで出会って

We met on our own.

気の仲が良くなったメンバーで

With members who have grown closer together.

展示会を行いますので

We will hold an exhibition.

At the intersection of Yamazaki Street and Kawaramachi Street.

本当に角あたりにあるので

かなり中心街でアクセスがいいです

It is quite centrally located and easy to access.

1階なので路面で見渡せる

Since it's on the first floor, it can be seen from the street.

簡単に変えられないけど変えられる

It can't be easily changed, but it can be changed.

っていうテーマにしてみました

I made it the theme.

子供教室をやっていると

When I'm running a children's class...

なんかすごくねこういう

Isn’t this amazing?

普段当たり前で

What is normally taken for granted

言葉に表現できないし

I can't express it in words.

しにくいことっていうものを

Things that are hard to die.

気づけるんですね

You can notice it, can't you?

それでですね

今回も一つピックアップしてみたテーマが

This time, the theme I picked up is

イシキは簡単に変えられないけれど

Awareness cannot be easily changed, but...

変えられるみたいなね

It seems like it can be changed.

そういったことをテーマにしてみました

I tried to make that a theme.

教室でですね

In the classroom, you see.

例えばですね

For example,

うさぎを描くとか

Like drawing a rabbit.

幼稚園とかでね

At places like kindergarten, you know.

うさぎの描き方って習うじゃないですか

You learn how to draw a rabbit, right?

優等生であればあるほど

The more of an honor student you are.

お利口さんであればあるほど

The smarter you are.

そのうさぎっていうものを

That rabbit, you say,

先生や大人に描くことができるようになってます

I have become able to draw like my teachers and adults.

そういうのをね

That's the kind of thing.

大人が教えてくれたまんまに

Just as the adults taught me.

スラスラ描くんですね

You draw smoothly, don't you?

いざ

Here we go.

こういう風にモチーフを見て描いてって言っても

Even if I say to look at the motif and draw like this...

教えられた

I was taught.

大人たちに教えられた方法を

The method taught by the adults.

頭で記憶した方法で描くってことが多いです

I often draw using the methods I've memorized in my head.

別の友達である時

When you are another friend.

手を描いてみましょうっていう

Let's try drawing hands.

課題を出したんですけども

I assigned a task, but...

そうすると

In that case

手は横に

Hands to the side.

左手をかざしながら

While raising my left hand

右手で描くっていうことなんで

It's about drawing with the right hand.

ものすごく見やすい位置に

In an incredibly easy-to-see position.

あるモチーフなんですけれども

It's a certain motif.

全く見ずに描くんですね

You draw without looking at all, don't you?

それでいっても

Even so,

すごいいいでしょっていう感じ

It has an amazing vibe, don't you think?

自信満点みたいな

Like overflowing with confidence.

自信があるのはとってもいいことなんですけれども

Having confidence is a very good thing, however...

私の中での課題は

The challenge within me is

手っぽいものを描くことよりかは

Rather than drawing something that resembles a hand

いかに観察するかっていうことが

How to observe.

テーマだったんだなと思ったんですね

I thought it was a theme.

だからすごく納得がいかなくて

So I really can't agree with it.

先生として

As a teacher

観察という点では全然できてなかったってことなんですね

So it means that I wasn't able to do it at all in terms of observation.

こういった時には

In times like this

虫眼鏡を渡します

I will hand you the magnifying glass.

子供たちって道具があると

When children have tools, they...

それを使いたがるので

Because they want to use that.

そうすると見ようとしてくれるので

Then they will try to see it.

虫眼鏡はすごく

The magnifying glass is amazing.

子供教室では重宝しているツールとなります

It will be a valuable tool in the children's classroom.

先日なんかもね

なんかコスミック暮らしとかの

なんかイラストばっかり描いちゃう

I keep drawing only illustrations.

友達がいて

I have a friend.

塗り絵とか持ってきて

でもそれが結構

高学年というか中学年の友達なんで

It's because we're friends from the upper grades, or rather, from the middle grades.

そろそろ描写したものを描いて欲しいなという風に

思って誘導はしていたんですけれども

先日本当に手を描写し始めたんですね

そしたら赤切れがした

Then I got a hangnail.

赤っぽくなった色味なんかをね

The color has become somewhat reddish.

すごく上手に色鉛筆で混色をして

You blended the colored pencils really well.

上手に表現ができたんですね

You were able to express yourself well, huh?

でその周りにまたその想像の世界なんかも制作して

And then create that imagined world around it.

すごく素敵なものを作ったんで

I created something really wonderful.

すごくよくできたねと

You did a really great job.

じゃあ次はこの手とかシャボン玉

Well then, next is this hand and soap bubbles.

Oh.

その周りに描いた絵が

The drawing around it

想像の世界がシャボン玉の絵だったんですけれども

The world of imagination was a picture of soap bubbles.

その両方を展開させて

Expand both of them.

こんな絵描いてみたらどうやろうとかって

I wonder how it would be if I tried drawing something like this.

いろいろちょっと私が思いつくままのアドバイスをしてみたら

I've tried to give some advice that comes to my mind.

ああいいなそれ描いてみたいって

Ah, that sounds nice, I want to try drawing it.

彼女もそのイメージが膨らんだんですね

She also became more immersed in that image, didn't she?

でここで先ほど言ってたその意識は変わるっていうことなんですが

今まで彼女にとって

おそらくお絵描きイコール周りの好きなキャラクターを描くっていう

Perhaps drawing is simply about drawing your favorite characters from around you.

まあ重調に夏休み時間とかにね

Well, during summer vacation time or something like that.

描いたりしてたんかなーって勝手にまあ想像するんですけど

I can’t help but imagine that they were probably drawing or something like that.

そういうような意識から

From that kind of awareness.

自分の世界を表現する楽しさを知った瞬間じゃないかなーっていう

I think it’s the moment I learned the joy of expressing my own world.

そんな気がしたわけですね

That’s how I felt, you see.

とっても抽象的で

難しいんですけれども

It's difficult, but...

こういう意識の入れ替えっていうのが主に私の教室では

This kind of consciousness exchange mainly occurs in my classroom.

すごくあの重要なことだと思っています

I believe it is a very important matter.

1回2回生徒さんが来られても

Even if the students come once or twice.

私自身も彼ら彼女らを読み取ることができなかったり

I myself couldn't read them either.

強制的に変更させるっていうよりかは

自分で変わっていってもらうっていう作業をしているから

Because I am doing the work of having you change on your own.

時間もちょっとかかるんですよね

うまくスムーズにいくのかなみたいな

I wonder if things will go smoothly.

そういったことと共通するんで

It is common with such things.

どの分野でも一緒だと思うんですけど

I think it's the same in any field.

絵画もそこは同じくあるんですね

The same is true for painting as well.

観察にこだわる理由っていうのがその部分で

The reason for being particular about observation lies in that part.

ドリブルで体感みたいなさっき言った感じで

It feels like what I said earlier, similar to dribbling.

海岸に関しても

あれここになんか青い線が見えるけど

Hey, I can see some blue lines here.

これは血管かとか

肌が荒れてすごくめくれ上がってるのが見えたとか

I could see that your skin was rough and really peeling.

こういうちょっとしたことを見たり感じたり

Seeing and feeling these little things like this.

またそれをどう表現するかっていう作業が

The work of figuring out how to express that is...

その物事の本質に追求することになり

It will lead to the pursuit of the essence of that matter.

絵画とかだけに限らず

Not limited to just painting,

人生そのもののいろいろな発見に共通するんじゃないかなという風に

I think it is common to various discoveries in life itself.

私は捉えていますし

I am capturing it.

実際私はそのようにアートからいろいろなことを学びました

In fact, I have learned various things from art in that way.

これはやっぱり知ろうとしない限り

This is something you won't know unless you try to.

本人がね

The person themselves.

発見しようとする意識が高まらない限り

Unless the awareness of trying to discover increases.

見つけることもできなければ

"Neither can I find it."

気づきにも変化しないんですね

It doesn't even change into awareness, does it?

なのでそうなりたくなるように

So that you will want to become that way.

誘導するっていうのが私の仕事かなと思っています

I think guiding is my job.

なんでね結構本当に

本当強制的な作業は全く起こさないんでね

すごく時間がかかっちゃうっていう感じなんですね

やっぱり自信がなくてのびのび描けないっていう方もいます

Some people still lack confidence and find it hard to draw freely.

そういう子には自信をつけてのびのび描いてもらえるように

I want to help such children gain confidence and draw freely.

とにかく全てを受け入れてあげて

Just accept everything, anyway.

全てを褒めてあげて

Praise everything.

どうせこんなんって思わせないようにして

何をやってもうまくいってる気持ちを体感してもらって

自分の制作テーマみたいなものを見つけてもらうことで

より専門性を出していくっていうようなことに

私は意識を向けていくので

基本的に本当に合同でクラスは開催するけど

ここに教室の対応している

お子さんの対応していくっていう形をとっています

We are taking a form of responding to the children.

でそれでまたその彼ら

彼女らのこの常識にとらわれない世界観から

From their unconventional worldview.

また学びがたくさんあるのでね

There is still a lot to learn.

あの学びというかね

That learning, or rather.

発見なんか特にすごく多くて

There are especially a lot of discoveries.

うわぁすごいなと

Wow, that's amazing!

こんなことが考えられるのか

Is it possible to think of something like this?

ということを日々学んでおります

I am learning this every day.

私もあの未だにまだまだこのアートによって

I still have a long way to go with this art as well.

新しい世界を見せてもらっています

I am being shown a new world.

あの一生ね修行みたいなそんな形なんで

It's like a lifelong training kind of thing.

まだまだ常に意識を進化させているところではありますが

I am still in the process of continuously evolving my consciousness.

あの子供の教室でせっかく出会えた皆さんが

Everyone who finally met in that child's classroom

より広い世界観

A broader worldview.

まあ世界観って自分の中のね

Well, the worldview is within oneself.

宇宙というか

Not so much space, but...

そういったものを広げていってもらい

I want you to spread such things.

あのクラスに行ってたことって

Did you go to that class?

すごく残ってるなと

I think there's still a lot left.

将来未来に記録に残るクラスになりたいな

I want to become a class that will be remembered in the future.

という風にして教室をやっております

はいちょっと教室中心からのお話でしたが
