ROCKIN' ON JAPANなんて久しぶりに買いましたよ。

I bought ROCKIN' ON JAPAN for the first time in a while.

最終決した時に一回ROCKIN' ON JAPANの表紙になったんですけど。

When we made our final decision, we were once on the cover of ROCKIN' ON JAPAN.

多分その時以来ですね。

学生の頃よく買ってましたけど。

I used to buy it often when I was a student.

節目、節目で。

At critical moments, at milestones.

それで買って、いろんなインタビューに載ってるんだなと思って。

So, I thought, if you buy it, it will feature in various interviews.

読んでたら、そこでアルバムが出ますって書いてあって。

While I was reading, it said that an album will be released there.

あっ、そうなんやと思って。

告知の前にそこにそれで書いてあって。

It was written there before the announcement.

それで知ったって感じでしたね。

It felt like I learned that.

その後に正式にアルバム出ますよって言って、そこから1ヶ月ぐらいですかね。

After that, I officially announced that the album would be released, and it was about a month from there, I guess.

1ヶ月後ぐらいにリリースされて。

It will be released in about a month.

全部聴いたよっていう状態で、

なんか人の生き死にとか人生について、たぶん病気したから治されなかったかもしれない。

I think that because of being sick, I may not have been healed regarding life and death or about life in general.

それがあった直後に書いた歌詞なんで、やっぱりそういうのは反映されますよねっていうのはおっしゃってましたね。

Since it’s lyrics written right after that happened, it’s true that it reflects those feelings, as you mentioned.

直接的な感じで、そこはちょっとなんか意外やってるなと思った反面でもいいなと思ってたところではあるかなと思ってます。

I thought it was surprising in a direct way, but on the other hand, I also felt it was a good thing in some respects.

ギターが結構今までにはなかった、裏から入るスチャスチャスチャスチャのスカのリズムで入ってくるんで、結構そういう意味ではギター的にはすごく新鮮な感じですね。

The guitar has a rhythm that comes in with a ska-like "chacha chacha" from behind, which is quite different from what we've had until now, so in that sense, it feels really fresh for the guitar.

意外とやってへん。なんかやってるイメージだった。

Surprisingly, they're not doing it. I had the impression that they were.

あんまりたぶんないと思いますね。

I don't think there will be much, really.

Yeah.

曲のメロディーの感じとかは結構バーンとか。

The feeling of the song's melody is quite similar to "Burn."

ああいうマイナーでくる感じですよね。

It's that kind of minor feeling, right?

その曲全体としてはイエモン節な感じですね。

Overall, it feels like a typical Yamamoto's style.

なんですけどそういう結構新しいことも取り入れつつ、吉井さんの歌詞も本当に今の思いというか、そういうのが詰まったのをホテルニュートリノっていう単語に思いを込めて歌われてるなって感じはしますね。

It feels like while incorporating some quite new elements, Yoshii's lyrics are really filled with his current feelings, and I sense that he pours those emotions into the word "Hotel Neutrino" as he sings.

今回最初はこのアルバムの投資聞いても、このリード曲が一番。

This time, even if you ask about the investment in this album, this lead track is the best.

グナーイのとこみたいな感じでそういう パートもちゃんと作って

最後ちゃんと結末も起承転結もついた歌詞で そこでちゃんと着地しているのがやっぱすごいなと思って聴いてましたね

I thought it was impressive that the lyrics had a proper conclusion with a clear structure, including the introduction, development, turn, and conclusion, and that it landed well in the end while listening.

エンディング曲っぽいよねなんか そうですねリズムパターン変わらずで

It sounds like an ending theme, doesn’t it? Yeah, the rhythm pattern doesn’t change.

歌詞だけでなんか ボーカルのラインだけでなんか見せてくるみたいな

曲がまあやっぱこの最後にこれが入ってるっていうのがインパクト強いですよね

あとそんなにシリアスなイメージなかったんやけどね流して聴いてる限り

真ん中ぐらいからちょっとこう違う感じというか

挑戦してるみんなみたいな感じの曲があったりとか

一番最後の方はこれまあこの間本人さん言ってましたけど

At the very end, well, the person themselves mentioned it the other day.

割と最近の若いバンドみたいなのも意識して作ったみたいなことはおっしゃってましたね

It seems you mentioned that you consciously created it with relatively recent young bands in mind.

でもなんかホテルニュートリノからもそれちょっと感じるけどね

But I kind of feel that from Hotel Neutrino too.

前編にあたってそれはあるんかもしれないですね新しいことは取り入れていこうみたいな

In regard to the first part, it may be that we should try to incorporate new things.

なんか特になんかメロディーラインがかなりなんか今時っぽいところが入ってるところも多いなと思って

I feel like there are quite a few parts that incorporate a very modern-sounding melody line.

I see, but if you’re talking about it, then there's also Hotel Neutrino.

割とそういうギターソロとかも入れるけど最低限そんな弾きまくるんじゃなくて

I tend to include guitar solos like that, but at a minimum, I'm not playing excessively.

最低限にしてそういう今の若い人を聴いてもちゃんと聴けるような感じを意識したみたいなことはおっしゃってたと思いますね

I think they were saying that they wanted to keep it minimal so that even the current younger generation can listen to it properly.

言葉がなんか何やろ急いで詰める感じというかそういうのが今時の若い人は多いなって思ってるイメージなんやけど

I feel like a lot of young people these days have a tendency to rush and pack their words, or something like that.
