Today, you know, in a Twitter DM...

I received a comment, and I'm going to make it the theme.

I was thinking of talking. Today, I received a comment through a DM on Twitter. I thought I would use that as a theme for my discussion.

I'm also gradually using Twitter.

This is the first time I've received a DM, so I'm a bit excited and feeling a bit giddy.

Today, I will focus on the theme of being able to DM in that way.

Please listen until the end today as well.

Let's give it a try.

Now, I would like to quickly introduce the contents of the DM that I received.

What kind of letters had arrived?

The person who sent it doesn't really want to spend too much money on a hotel.

Can even someone like that enjoy a stay-at-home retreat?

I received a question along the lines of "How are you enjoying it?"

I actually don't spend much money on hotels either.

I wonder at what price it seems expensive.

I wonder how much you would think is expensive.

But basically, I am doing it on my own.

It's a kind of stay-at-home.

When staying at a hotel...

I feel that it will be around 10,000 yen.

I truly think anything beyond that is a reward.

Events with someone else or something like that.

For some kind of celebration or something.

Unless that happens.

I think I definitely spend less money on hotels.

What exactly is an "okomori stay"?

It's something I'm not very familiar with.

Staying at a hotel as a side note to something else.

Not many people use it as their main.

I think of it that way.

So, first...

I think it's about what "okomo stay" means.

I hope to talk about that there.

I guess when I was in university too.

It’s still like that even now.

Concerts and events.

Also, just for a regular trip or something.

Going to meet relatives or something.

When I say I'm going to meet a friend.

As expected, there is a main event.

In connection with that.

If there is a thing called accommodation...

As much as possible, I still want to avoid spending money there.

I want to spend money on the main place.

Isn't it?

Of course, I believe there are various values and perspectives.

I think there are people who also prioritize where to stay.

I am not very wealthy financially.

I'm thinking about how I want to use my money.

Actually, when I do a stay-at-home retreat...

I really haven't spent any money at all.

First, let me explain the circumstances that led me to start staying in isolation.

I was thinking of having a little chat.

Now that you mention it, I realize I hadn't said that.

It's about two years into my professional career.

At that time, I was working at a hotel in Nagano Prefecture.

The place where I work is...

It was at a rural hot spring inn.

There is nothing at all that can be called entertainment around.

本当

Really.

It's like saying that you can't even go to the convenience store without a car.

I lived in such a place, you see.

The cityscape you see when you move around by car, bus, or train, regardless of everything else.

I really love the mountain ranges and the scenery.

In Nagano Prefecture, it's all about experiencing nature, after all.

I feel like it was the biggest source of entertainment.

On holidays, I casually go out.

Staring blankly while looking at the scenery.

Take a dip in the hot springs on your way back.

It's nice to go home feeling warm and cozy.

Things like that had become a reward for me.

On that extension.

I'll go to the hot springs and then come back.

If you're going to do it, you might as well do it right.

Then you can stay somewhere.

Without worrying about the time to go home.

I want to spend the whole day just as I please.

I see.

Become a feeling.

I feel like we've started staying over.

I am doing my best at work every day.

Mentally as well.

Physically too

Let me heal you.

To be free means...

Hotel stay

It's a feeling I experienced.

What does "okomori stay" mean?

"Are you really not going to do anything?"

It's not really like that.

I was mostly in Nagano Prefecture.

I was really into hot springs.

I was choosing a place where I could take a hot spring bath.

例えば

For example

Since we're at it...

I brought a book I want to read to the hotel.

とか

"or something like that."

At the hotel

Becoming a movie lover or something.

あとは

That's all.

I also like studying.

Studying English.

Well, I'm thinking of doing it at a hotel or something.

Just by changing the environment.

See you again soon.

I can study with a fresh feeling.

Studying at a hotel is also...

I relatively like it.

I feel like it was one way of spending time.

What you usually do at home.

Just like that.

"To do it exactly as it is at the hotel."

When the environment changes

I feel like it's a little different.

I think it also depends on how you feel about it.

How to spend your time at a hotel is

According to each person's individual interests.

I think it will change.

In stories I've heard elsewhere...

Using the hotel fitness center.

It feels like I'm seriously getting in shape.

At a different place than the gym I usually go to.

Like in the scenery, perhaps.

I'm using it in that way.

I've also heard voices saying that.

Even though it's really a stay-at-home situation...

I really think there are so many variations.

When I think about it like that.

Choosing this hotel is also...

After all, it's all about matching each person's preferences.

It would be good if I could choose.

For example, me.

Because I liked hot springs at that time.

The large public bath at the hot spring, you know?

It was a wide area or something like that.

There are many outdoor baths.

I'm choosing places like that.

I want to study or something.

In times like that, it's totally a city hotel.

I wonder what it is.

Business hotels and such.

I think that's a good place for that.

自分の

My own

It was tailored to fit the mood or purpose at that time.

At upscale accommodations or charming ryokans.

Is that really the case there?

If you want to be healed in that space, then...

I guess it's a ryokan that puts a lot of effort into its interior.

It would be better to choose a hotel.

It depends on what you want to do in that place.

Choosing a hotel hasn't changed at all, you know.

Choosing a hotel can vary.

Surely for everyone.

The optimal hotel stay.

I hope you enjoy it.

It feels a bit short today, though.

I want to wrap it up quickly like this.

Everyone too

You don't have to spend that much money.

I believe you can really enjoy staying in.

Thank you for this past year.

Thank you for your continued support starting next year.

Everyone has their own way of enjoying a hotel stay.

Please enjoy.
