Hello everyone, psychology that working adult women can use starting today.

Today marks the 30th time. Today as well, I’m Saori Kakumoto, your Kokoronist.

This is Yoichi Kuno from the Sales Design Lab. Thank you for your attention.

This marks the remarkable 30th time.

It has gone by in a flash, hasn't it? I've been sharing various psychological techniques with you.

Today, I would like to talk about how you can understand mental health issues by looking at ○○.

What can I see to understand?

Movements of the eyes, hands, and gestures.

うん

Yeah.

I definitely think that kind of thing will come up too.

Something that would be more noticeable just by looking at it in the city.

Is it about posture?

That's a shame.

It's the walking speed and stride length.

I see, yes.

Have you ever thought about your walking speed and stride?

That's right.

When you walk with wide strides while engaging your腹筋 (abdominals)...

うん

Yeah.

It feels like the energy consumption is...

Uh-huh.

"With a burden"

I consciously do things thinking that they might be healthier and help me maintain an appropriate weight compared to just walking normally.

I see, that's exactly it, as a benefit in terms of health.

はい

Yes.

Quickly, just like now.

For example, if you consciously walk while engaging your abdominal muscles,

Lifestyle habit prevention, etc.

I see.

It's about preventing lifestyle-related diseases.

Also for relieving constipation.

Stress and such.

Relaxation or stress relief.

はい

Yes.

To strengthen the bones or something like that.

はい

Yes

Well, it's understood that there are various effects.

It seems that a teammate from my university's football club...

はい

Yes.

I am the president of a company with about 3,000 to 4,000 people, including part-time employees.

はい

Yes

That guy always wakes up around 4 AM.

うん

Yeah.

So it seems they're taking a walk like this.

はい

Yes

If you walk for about 1 or 2 hours, then...

It seems that they have been walking for about an hour.

はい

Yes.

I think I'm in a bit of a meditative state.

I have various ideas about that company.

They say it comes along with a walk.

It seems that there are some effects like that too.

They say that walking is really good for you, right?

うん

Yeah.

はい

Yes.

So the walking speed and stride length are...

If it's effective, that means the opposite is also true.

はい

Yes

The relationship between that and mental state.

Actually, there is a close connection.

That’s what it means.

From various studies and experiments

The more a person suffers from mental illness.

My walking speed has slowed down.

The stride becomes shorter.

There is data that shows that.

In other words, the walking speed is

A person who walks quickly and with long strides.

It's not the case that there aren't any at all.

Tends to have a strong mentality.

Of course, if you increase your walking speed.

It's not that you'll become mentally stronger, but...

By continuing to do so

A body like earlier.

It has a positive effect on the heart and mental well-being.

I can say that.

Furthermore, those who walk at a faster pace.

Get a serious illness.

Of course, there is a bit of risk involved.

It decreases.

And then there's cognitive impairment and such.

Risk as well

Because it will go down.

I can remain in a healthy state.

Probability increases.

High creation rate.

I understand that as well.

はい

Yes

Matsuo Bashō and so on.

What is Inō Tadataka?

It's the map, isn't it?

For someone who lived in that era.

Aren't they incredibly long-lived?

はい

Yes

After all, all over Japan.

Tap tap tap tap

I think it might be because I was walking around energetically.

It is said, isn't it?

It is possible, isn't it?

The travel distance is absurdly far, isn't it?

That's right.

So in that sense

自分の

My own

In addition to being aware of walking speed and stride length...

For example, a person close to you.

Trying to observe walking speed, for example.

By trying to pay attention to it.

Mental check of the people around you.

What that means is that it can be done.

So not too much, you know.

In psychology, it's often said that eye movements...

The expressions and hand movements.

I often mention it, but...

This walking stride and

It's about speed, too.

I hope you can try incorporating it a little.

Keeping the mental wellbeing of important people close to you healthy.

It's a kind of indicator.

I think it would be good to use it as a hint.

That being said.

Today, I would like to introduce you to.

はい

Yes

It's quite the case, but I'm doing a lot of desk work right now.

That's right.

It's also worth paying attention to.

There might be some people whose timing just doesn't align.

Well, that's true.

So when we go out for lunch together sometimes...

It might be the same when going out somewhere as well.

はい

Yes

Yes, that is certainly true.

Well, there are people walking quickly inside the car too.

A person who is walking slowly and wearily.

Maybe just a little.

Observe closely.

When you consciously try to observe...

You might be able to tell the difference.

It depends on the person.

"But of course, for example, if you have back pain."

In the first place, if someone has some anxiety about their health...

I still can't walk because I'm upside down.

But if there are any concerns about health...

After all, it's also about mental health.

More than someone who has no health concerns at all.

Isn't it that stress is inevitably present?

はい

Yes

That means, after all, like this.

Walking briskly with a refreshing stride.

In the first place.

The very fact that you can do it.

健康である

To be healthy.

Being healthy in both mind and body.

It might serve as proof, right?

That's right.

はい

Yes

It feels like, after all, this...

Earlier, I was talking about posture.

はい

Yes

Breathe deeply.

Improving posture.

Starting from moving the body.

When you start consciously,

Feeling a little the opposite way.

From the body like this

What do you call it again?

It will be a good turn.

It has a kind of feeling like that.

That thing that was getting me down is a little bit like this.

Something that seems to return to the original state.

That's right.

It might exist, you know.

I think there is.

It's often said in NLP and so on, but...

By entering from that shape in reverse.

Influence on mental health

For example, while looking up, it's quite difficult.

It's hard to think of something dark.

That's right.

There is, isn't there?

That’s exactly what I mentioned earlier.

I might have introduced it to you already.

Tennis player Shuuzo Matsuoka and others like him

Originally, you have a relatively strong mental state.

Weak or something like that.

They say I'm a little negative-minded.

Be aware of it.

That's why I intentionally raise my voice.

Positive words

Like repeatedly doing something excessively.

It was like I was doing that.

Because you mentioned it.

I see.

So intentionally significant.

大股で

With big strides.

Brisk walking

Consciously trying it after all is...

There is still complete correlation now.

It's not proven, but...

But it has health benefits.

That's definitely not a mistake.

So it's also a way to relieve stress.

It has been released as data.

As a result, you know.

It connects to mental health.

I think it's definitely something to look forward to.

That's right.

So I guess that's also a habit.

In the end, it's like self-hypnosis.

It's training, right?

That part as well.

So consciously being aware of that.

It might be a good idea to keep a record.

When this happens, do this.

"For example, how this was improved."

っていう

That's what I'm saying.

As expected, when I do the recording…

Because it gets ingrained.

Feelings

To maintain a stable good condition.

Such a way

Incorporate habits.

Furthermore, how did it change?

It might be a good idea to keep a record.

That's right.

Especially if we're talking about walking.

It doesn't cost any money.

It's an action that is performed to some extent every day.

Consciously trying to go there is...

I think it's probably fine.

Well, there are various apps available now.

An app that allows you to earn points just by walking.

I'm sure there is.

It exists, doesn't it?

"Let me in too."

Just terrifying.

What should I say?

The digits are set quite high.

For example, even if I say 100,000 points...

It's just like 10 yen or something like that.

That's amazing, really.

If you think about saving money,

It feels like I have to walk multiple times.

It's happening, though.

Well, you know...

Still, it's better than having nothing.

That's right.

It's like a fictional point.

In fact, it can be something that can confine you.

In reality, that real world.

Even if it's completely different from the scale of money.

"But somehow, by layering these lines..."

Looking forward to it in a game-like way!

I was thinking of walking a little more.

I’m thinking of trying to move.

I can feel that it's motivating.

So, that's a bit like that.

It's not just about walking.

There are various apps available.

I would appreciate it if you could consider incorporating something like that.

It might be good.

That's right.

Yes, so today...

Mental discomfort can be understood by observing walking speed and stride length.

I have conveyed this information to you.

Please pay attention to what is being said.

Mental health.

Then, regarding health of the body...

I think it would be nice if we could connect.

はい

Yes

It's still cold, and the chilly days continue.

Walk with big steps.

Take care not to catch a cold.

I hope you are doing well.
