南国を巡っていました

本当一人旅なので博物館とか美術館とか

そういうところばっか巡って

Just going around places like that.

自由気ままに台湾に行ってきました

I went to Taiwan freely and spontaneously.

めちゃくちゃすごかったです

中で置いている展示物もすごかったし

The exhibits on display inside were amazing too.

ただ一番有名な翡翠でできた

It's made of the most famous jade.

白菜の置物が結構有名なんですけど

The cabbage decoration is quite famous.

コオロギも上に乗ってて

The cricket is also sitting on top.

それが翡翠でできててっていうのが

それがちょうど今展示してなくて

近くにいたおばちゃん曰く

昔の台湾

Old Taiwan

西暦1000年とかそれより前の頃とか

Around the year 1000 AD or earlier.

西洋の文化とかガンガン入ってきてない頃なんで

It was before Western culture was coming in rapidly.

その後の西洋の文化入ってからの

After the subsequent introduction of Western culture

そういった展示物っていうのが

Such exhibits are

結構はっきりと違ってるなって思ってて

I think it's quite clearly different.

割と西洋の絵とかであるような

It's somewhat like those Western paintings.

曲線的なものを使って描くみたいなのが

It seems like drawing using something curved.

どんどん後になって増えてきて

It keeps increasing more and more as time goes on.

それより前は曲線が多いというか

アイヌの方々の服とかで

曲線の模様がいっぱい入ったような衣服とか見るんですけど

それは沖縄も結構

沖縄博物館回った時も共通してるなと思いましたね

アジアはあんまりそういう風には見たことがなかったというか

I hadn't really seen Asia in that way before.

美術館に行くイコール西洋のものを見るが大体で

Going to an art museum generally means looking at Western artworks.

まぁあと

見てエジプトとかそんな程度だったから

I was only at a level where I could just see Egypt and things like that.

あんまりアジアのことを注目してなかったんで

I haven't really been paying much attention to Asia.

曲線の話は非常に面白いなと思いました

I found the topic of curves to be very interesting.

そういったものなのかなと思って

やっぱ西洋の方はいっぱいものがバンバン出てくるから

バンバン作れて強いのかなとかちょっと思いました

けどご飯美味しかったですね

But the food was delicious, wasn't it?

小籠包もパンも美味しいし

合う人にすごい合うけど合わない人はもう

一気には香辛料効いてて

結構甘味はありますね

沖縄にいたような黒糖を使ったような甘味が

辛い料理にも入ってるって感じでしたね

It felt like it was also included in spicy dishes.

豚肉の角煮みたいなやつを刻んでご飯の

It's something like braised pork belly chopped up and put on rice.

食べてみたいなと思ってます

I'm thinking that I would like to try eating it.

特に日本とかでも食えたりするんですけど

より現地の方が香辛料効いてるなって感じがしました

なので3月4月は沖縄台湾おすすめです

宮古島にその後台湾から沖縄に戻った後すぐ行って

I went to Miyako Island right after returning to Okinawa from Taiwan.

初めてだったんですけど

It was my first time, but...

那覇宮古島間の飛行機がセールをしていて

The flights between Naha and Miyako Island are on sale.

それが往復で7000円くらいだったんですよ

It was about 7000 yen for a round trip.

往復ね

Round trip, right?

時間もそんなかかるような距離じゃないですけど

It's not a distance that would take much time.

45分か40分くらいで那覇から着くんですけど

It takes about 45 or 40 minutes to get to Naha.

すごい安かったんで

It was really cheap.

じゃあ撮っちゃえと思って勢いで宮古島に行きました

So I thought, "Why not just go for it?" and impulsively went to Miyako Island.

行った空港がわりと新しい名なんですね

The airport I went to is quite a new name, isn't it?

その使われ始めてから新しい名

A new name since it began to be used.

下地島空港っていうところで

It's a place called Shimojishima Airport.

宮古島本島からすごく長い橋を使って

Using a very long bridge from Miyako Island Main Island.

渡った先にある空港で

At the airport on the other side.

その橋自体は

That bridge itself is

多分無料で渡れる橋としては一番長いらしいんですけど

It seems to be the longest bridge that can be crossed for free.

日本で

In Japan

そこら辺最近だと有名なのが

ちょっと自衛隊の事故があったところですね

It's the place where there was a bit of an accident involving the Self-Defense Forces.

そこの下地島とかはそこら辺ですね

一言で言うと宮古島を中心として

5つか6つくらい島が橋で繋がってるっていう感じなので

スクーター借りて全部の島回るみたいなことをしてきました

I borrowed a scooter and did something like going around all the islands.

宮古島はすごかったのがヤギ刺しが食えて

Miyako Island was amazing because I got to eat goat sashimi.

お店でも食えるんですけど

You can eat at the restaurant too.

冷凍の自動販売機でヤギ刺しが売ってて

There are goat sashimi for sale in a frozen vending machine.

1000円入れるとヤギ刺しが2パック出てくるっていうので

They say that if you put in 1000 yen, you'll get two packs of goat sashimi.

地元の人にこれうまいから食いなよって買って食ったんですけど

I was told by a local that this is delicious, so I bought it and ate it.

結構コリコリしてて臭みもなくて美味しかったですね

It was quite crunchy, without any foul smell, and delicious.

生姜醤油で食べたんですけど

I ate it with ginger soy sauce.

なかなかあそこでしか体験できないこととしては
