The Sound-Inspired Path: Ocean Breeze Trail

気仙沼の各スポットについて環境省の渡辺さんにお話しいただいています

Mr. Watanabe from the Ministry of the Environment is discussing various spots in Kesennuma.

1日目大谷海岸スタートしました

Day 1 has started at Otani Coast.

今本当に海沿いの道を歩いていますが

I am really walking along the coastal road right now.

道の区潮風トレイルはこういった道結構多いんですか

Are there many roads like the Michi no Kaze Coastal Trail?

やはり名前の通り潮風が感じられるというのが

As expected, it feels like you can sense the sea breeze, just as the name suggests.

一つのコンセプトというか魅力になっているので

It has become a charm, or rather a concept in itself.

波の音を聞きながら

Listening to the sound of the waves.

時折こうやって車道から外れるので

Sometimes, I stray off the roadway like this.

そうすると本当に波の音しかしないので

Then, you can really only hear the sound of the waves.

波の音に耳を傾けて歩いていければなと思います

I hope I can walk while listening to the sound of the waves.

非常にこの舗装された海岸と並行した道で歩きやすいですね

It's very easy to walk on this road that runs parallel to the paved beach.

そうですねここは歩きやすいですね

傍聴堤の上とかそういうところに

Like on the embankment or places like that.

ルートが引かれているところもあるので

そういったところは非常に歩きやすくて

スピードも距離も稼げるなというところです

気仙沼市東日本大震災以降伝承館に到着しました

I have arrived at the Tsunami Memorial Museum in Kesennuma City since the Great East Japan Earthquake.

トレイルの道のりではこういった震災遺構なども多々あるんでしょうか

Are there many earthquake relics like these along the trail?

震災遺構ですとか

It's a震災遺構.

震災遺構だけじゃなくて

Not just the earthquake ruins.

高台に避難する避難路なんかも

Evacuation routes leading to elevated areas.

トレイルルートの一部に整備されています

It has been developed as part of the trail route.

それは道の串岡でトレイルを歩くことによって

That is by walking the trail at Michino Kusuioka.

震災の記憶を忘れないでいる

I will not forget the memories of the earthquake disaster.

防災減災の意識を持ち続けるという目的を持って

With the objective of maintaining awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation.

そういうところにルートを引いている場所も多いです

There are many places where routes are drawn in such areas.

震災以降本当に沿岸部で

Since the disaster, really in the coastal areas.

ところどころに避難の丘だったりとか

There were evacuation hills here and there.

そういった避難ルートというのが設置されるようになりましたよね

遠くから来ていただく方だけではなくて

Not only those who come from far away.

地元の方に道の串岡でトレイルを歩いていただいて

避難路も普段歩いていないと忘れてしまったりとか

If you don't usually walk the evacuation routes, you might forget them.

どれくらい時間がかかるのかということを分からなかったりするので

I sometimes don't understand how much time it will take.

地元の方にも道の串岡でトレイルを歩いていただいて

I would like the locals to take a walk on the trail at Michi no Kushioka.

避難路を確認していただくというような目的も含まれています

It also includes the purpose of confirming the evacuation routes.

そうですね

こうやって景色を楽しみながら

While enjoying the scenery like this.

立ち寄りスポットなどに巡りながら

While visiting various stopover spots.

そういった避難の実際に歩くとどれくらい時間がかかって

How long does it actually take to walk during such an evacuation?

こういったものがあるといいねとか

今日は残念ながらそこまで潮が発生してないですか

そうですね潮吹き岩は潮が寒潮の時

Well, the blowhole rock is during low tide.

潮位が低い時でかつ波が荒い時の方が

"When the tide is low and the waves are rough..."

潮が高く吹く構造になっています

It is structured to blow with high tides.

渡辺さんはご覧になったことは

Have you seen Mr. Watanabe?

私来る時はいつもあまり吹いてないんですけれども

It's not really windy whenever I come.

震災後に震災前はもっと吹いてたみたいなんですけど

It seems that the winds were stronger before the earthquake than they have been after.

震災後少し潮の吹きが弱くなったという話もあるそうです

I've heard that the blowing of the tide has weakened a bit since the earthquake.

でもすごく岩がゴツゴツしてますね

But the rocks are really rough, aren't they?

そうですねこういった自然景観が豊かな場所は

Yes, places with rich natural landscapes like this are...

トレイルの中でも

Even in the trail

三陸復興国立公園国立公園に指定されている場所になっていて

It has been designated as a national park in the Sanriku Reconstruction National Park.

風景が法律によって保護されています

The landscape is protected by law.

2日目に同行いただいた環境省坂本さんです

This is Mr. Sakamoto from the Ministry of the Environment who accompanied us on the second day.

安波山これ中腹ですかね

Is this the middle of the Yamanami Mountain?

8号目になります

This is the 8th station.

8号目まで登ってまいりました

I have climbed up to the 8th station.

非常にここでも美しい景色なんですけれども

The scenery here is also very beautiful.

安波山のスポットについて教えていただけますか

Could you please tell me about the attractions of Mount Anba?

はい安波山は公園になってまして

Yes, Yamanami Mountain has become a park.

地元の方がお散歩だったり

The locals were taking a walk.

あとハイカー道の串岡でトレイルのハイカーさんも立ち寄るスポットです

Also, it's a spot where trail hikers stop by on the hiker's path in Kushioka.

気仙沼市内が一望できて

You can see the whole of Kesennuma City.

気仙沼湾の奥行きのある湾が見れるので

You can see the deep bay of Kesennuma Bay.

大島大橋と湾岸大壇峡

Oshima Ohashi Bridge and Wangan Daikan Gorge

2つダブルの橋が見れるところとして

As a place where you can see two double bridges.

今ビュースポットで人気があります

It is currently popular at the viewpoint.

春には桜が咲いて

In spring, cherry blossoms bloom.

3月と

夏ですね

It's summer, isn't it?

花火が大壇峡のところで上がるので

The fireworks will go up at Odan Gorge.

その花火を見るスポットとしても人気があります

It is also popular as a spot to watch the fireworks.

我々階段で登ってきたんですけれども

We climbed up the stairs.

階段や途中のデッキもちょっとオシャレな作りになってますね

The stairs and the deck along the way have a stylish design as well.

そうなんです

あのこの震災後ですね復興プロジェクトとして

After that child, as part of the reconstruction project following the disaster.

様々なボランティアさんで

With various volunteers.

モザイクアートタイルを埋めたり

Filling in mosaic art tiles.

ドラゴンボールみたいな

Like Dragon Ball.

ビー玉のようなものを埋めたりして

Burying things like marbles.

もう足元を見て歩くだけでも楽しい

Just walking while looking at my feet is enjoyable.

公園になってます

It has become a park.

3日間の工程を終えて

After completing the three-day process.

3日間の工程を終えていかがでしたか

How did you find the process after the three days?

とっても気持ちよかったです

It felt really good.

まず景色が普段の生活では見られない

First, the scenery is something that can't be seen in everyday life.

あの光景が広がっていて

That scene is spreading out.

気持ちもとっても良かったですし

I also felt really good about it.

あの何より癒されたなぁと

Ah, more than anything, it was healing.

っていうのが3日間通してありました

That was present over the course of three days.

あとは美味しいものにたくさん巡り合えて

And then I encountered a lot of delicious things.

かつ地元の人といろんな場所で

And also with the locals in various places.

お店とか宿泊先とか

Like stores or accommodations.

特に昨日のツナ缶とか民宿だったので

Especially because it was a can of tuna or a guesthouse yesterday.

おかみとも触れ合いましたし

I also interacted with the innkeeper.

宿泊してた方とも触れ合えて

I was able to interact with the people I was staying with.

地元の方以外とも触れ合えて

I was able to interact with people other than the locals.

そういう交流があったのも

That kind of interaction also existed.

とてもうれしかったなぁと

I was really happy.

3日間通して思います

I think about it for three days straight.

本当に温かいです

It's really warm.

温かい方たちばかりでしたね

They were all warm-hearted people, weren't they?

本当にもうこんなに良くしてくれるんだ

I can't believe you're being this good to me.

っていうのを感じましたね

I felt that.

大きいザック背負って行ってきます

I'm going with my big backpack.

寒いから気をつけてね

Be careful because it's cold.

みたいな声を絶対かけてくださって

"Please definitely call out to me like that."

確かに体はちょっときつかったり

Indeed, the body feels a bit tight.

汗かいて大変とか思いましたけど

I thought it was tough to be sweating, but...

その一言があると

With that one word,

ちょっと頑張れる

I can try a little harder.

背中を押してもらえるなっていうのがあって

I want to be pushed from behind.

トータルでとっても楽しかったです

Overall, it was very fun.

すごく気持ちがいいなっていうのを

改めて感じたので

ちょっと定期的にやっぱりトレイルコースを

I guess I need to regularly go on the trail course after all.

またまんべんなく歩いて

Walk evenly again.

ぜひ青森まで達成させたいなと思っています

I definitely want to achieve that by reaching Aomori.

やっぱり景色

海沿いの景色とか

Scenery by the seaside, for example.

周辺の

surrounding

ここで言うと唐倉御殿とか

Here, it refers to places like the Karakura Palace.

歴史ある建造物とかあるので

Because there are historical buildings, etc.

そういう自然と歴史とか

Such nature and history, etc.

すごい感動できるものが

Something amazing and moving.

ありますし

There is.

あとこういう道沿いとかにある

Also, there are places like this along the road.

喫茶店とか

Cafes and such.

美味しい料理とかたくさんあるので

There are many delicious dishes.

そういう旅をするっていう感覚で

It's about that feeling of taking such a journey.

How do you feel after reflecting on these past three days?

はい

Yes.

今回3日間の行程だったということだったんですけれども

I heard that it was a three-day itinerary this time.

1日の行程だとなかなか

It's quite difficult to fit everything into a one-day itinerary.

旅っていう感じは出てこなかったのかなと思うんですけど

I wonder if it didn't give off a feeling of travel.

今回3日間なので

This time it's for three days.

かなりとっぷり

Quite deep.

日常から切り離されて

Separated from everyday life.

旅という感じが出たんじゃないかなと思いました

I think it gives a sense of traveling.

3日間となると

When it comes to three days

自分がスタートしてきたところを

Where I started from.

今いるところから振り返ったりとかですね

Looking back from where I am now.

あるいはこれから目指すところから

Or from where we are aiming to go from here.

目指すところを海岸線の向こう側に見たりとか

Seeing the destination beyond the coastline.

そういった旅の距離のスケール感っていうのも出てくるので

That sense of scale in the distance of such journeys also comes out.

また日帰りのトレイルハイクっていうのもいいと思うんですけども

I also think a day hike on the trail would be nice.

2日間3日間となると

When it becomes two days or three days.

旅のスケール感が出てくるので

It creates a sense of the scale of the journey.

そういった歩き方も非常に楽しいと思います

I think that way of walking is very enjoyable.

振り返って地図を見るのが楽しくなりそうですよね

It seems like it will be fun to look back at the map.

そうですね

地図を見るのは歩いた時

I look at the map when I walk.

最中だけではなくて

Not just during the midst of it

これから自分が行く道を想像して

Imagine the path I am about to take.

計画を立てる時にも地図を見ますし

When making plans, I also look at a map.

あとは振り返ってですね

自分が歩いてきた道を地図の中で振り返るというのも
