The theme this time is the Battle of Midway.

The major players have arrived, haven't they?

Decisive Battle of the Pacific War

This is exactly the turning point.

From here on, Japan continued to lose consistently.

I am often told such things, but...

This is certainly a turning point.

That's it.

The beginning of the war of independence in Germany, etc.

It is such a significant turning point.

You are creating good screens multiple times, aren't you?

By the way, this Midway naval battle...

In terms of the overall flow,

With the Shinjuwan attack in December 1941

The Pacific War has broken out.

After that, you know.

The battle is still ongoing.

This will be conducted afterwards.

In order, that comes after.

In the first place, this Battle of Midway...

What is this original plan, so to speak?

For example, the flow of that battle.

That's exactly after the Shinju An attack.

There’s a theory that there were no plans at all, right?

ですね

Isn't it?

That's exactly how it feels.

It has been almost six months since the Shinju An attack.

Well, it’s like a point where we think about what to do next.

計画が

The plan is

In short, it's about the grand design.

Really big like this, like this.

It seems like we're going to settle things around here in the end.

That's not there, you know.

The next plan at this point is

Not having it specifically or even as a concept.

It starts with "What should I do?"

That's terrible.

Like, where to drop next, you know?

That's right.

So, in fact, they successfully carried out the new Tenkan attack.

The mobile fleet then headed towards the Indian Ocean.

They were also moving towards it.

I wonder what I should do in Japan.

So conquer India.

The strategy or the British army in the Indian region.

Are you trying to cut off that kind of invasion or communication route?

Like the American military from Australia.

In the direction where the Australian army is approaching from the north.

Do you want to cut it off?

Do you want to annihilate the Pacific Fleet in Hawaii even more?

That's right.

Not really in that sense.

It's really a way of doing things without having that grand design in place.

It seems that something is being done.

In such circumstances, the actual argument is now in Sri Lanka, isn't it?

The strategy for conquering Sri Lanka was not adopted.

So, what should we do then?

Well then, in Hawaii, this time it's not just about the attack.

It happened after I completed the攻略 (strategy/guide/quest), though.

Well, that's a bit impossible, isn't it?

Everyone thinks it's impossible to go to Hawaii, don't they?

Therefore, in the basic strategy, we will form an alliance with Nazi Germany, our ally.

It was said that we should move in that direction, right?

Well then,

In the end, as Mr. Suzuki just mentioned a moment ago...

In short, it's in the direction of Australia.

Cutting through the trials of America and Australia.

There was also a discussion about whether we should head south.

As one of the options, Midway was originally considered, you know.

Hawaii too.

Hawaii is out of the question, but Midway might be possible.

In short, it's not exactly halfway between Hawaii and Japan, but it's somewhat leaning towards Hawaii.

I'm not really sure what you intended to do with it after taking it.

It's just like a really unsinkable aircraft carrier vibe.

There's no city, nor any resources, after all.

So, after all that, it turned out that...

We ended up having to carry out these three operations simultaneously, didn't we?

つまり

In other words.

While I'm thinking about which one to choose,

Well, let's just do them all then.

Alternatively, by reaching out and depending on the progress.

Yeah, if this seems to be going well, should we put in a little more effort there?

It feels like we should just leave this alone.

I wonder if that was anticipated as well.

Thus, the occupation of Midway Island and the American aircraft carrier force.

I was unable to capture during the attack in Hawaii.

Aiming to capture and destroy the U.S. aircraft carrier group.

Furthermore, we have become able to conquer the western part of the Aleutian Islands.

This is to conquer the western part of the Aleutian Islands.

They call it the AL operation, but...

This is related to things like Attu Island and Kiska Island later on.

I'll take that one.

This is about not wanting air raids on the Japanese archipelago from the Aleutian direction.

Also, cut off the sea route between America and Australia.

It's towards Fiji, isn't it?

If you complete all of the攻略 (strategy guides), then...

If you do everything.

If you do three things

うーん

Hmmm.

It has come to that, however.

A big incident has occurred here.

はい

Yes

It's the Doolittle Raid, isn't it?

It's an old book, DooLittle.

Doolittle

はい

Yes

On April 18, 1942, Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka were...

To suffer.

It's a tough situation, isn't it?

There wasn't much damage, right?

It never existed, you know.

The industrial area suffered quite a bit of damage.

This B-25 bomber, you know.

Medium-sized bombing of the total release.

What a surprise on the aircraft carrier!

積んで

Stack it.

Well, I think everyone knows this, but...

Launch from the aircraft carrier.

Moreover, this is it.

It was loaded with 16 aircraft on the aircraft carrier Hornet, right?

It's amazing, isn't it?

It's so full, isn't it?

I realize that it can be stacked.

I'm wondering if the first aircraft had enough runway distance.

No matter how fast that is.

Even if the wind is blowing upward due to the wind direction.

It's equipped with bombs too, after all.

So, you're loaded up with a lot of fuel, right?

So in movies, they take off all the weapons and say that weapons aren't needed, right?

Machine guns and such.

It happens that you've let it go, right?

In reality, it's obvious that even if it takes off from the Hornet, it can't land.

It's a one-way attack, isn't it?

I had that devoured.

Well, it seems that the military has gotten all flustered.

You were shocked, weren't you?

Both the military and the citizens.

So, we're suddenly doing this Midway.

It means that the Midway operation has come to be considered important.

If you come, it means you'll occupy Midway.

It's a matter of strategic level.

The plan to destroy the American aircraft carrier group is a tactical level discussion.

Either at the same time or in order.

I can definitely sense something ominous around here.

That's right.

By the way, at this point...

At this point, it's the assumption of the Japanese Navy.

The scale of the American military that appears when attacking Midway.

23 aircraft carriers, 23 auxiliary aircraft carriers.

Well, a special purpose aircraft carrier is a small type, right?

Two battleships and ten cruisers, huh?

4 to 5 ships from the rear line.

From 3 to 4 vessels in the second tour.

In addition to that, four light cruisers.

30 destroyers, 25 submarines.

You're not that far off.

That's right.

So the actual combat strength of Midway is...

"24 flying boats, 11 fighters, 12 bombers, 75 Marines, and around 20 artillery positions."

Depending on the situation, additional flights from Hawaii.

It seems that they were estimating an increase of 60 bombers and 200 fighter planes for the flying boat.

This is a big miss, isn't it?

In reality, there are even 3,000 Marines.

It is said that there were also 150 aircraft from the beginning.

This was probably the point where we were dispatching the landing troops.

It turned into a big problem, didn't it?

I see.

That's what it means.

This is a story for later.

So, could it be that we've been hit by this Doritole air raid?

We decided to focus on executing the Midway operation.

Does this mean that it started from June 5th?

So you planned the landing date for June 7th, right?

Due to the relationship with the tides.

I see.

It's like a ring, like a coral reef.

It's what you call a leaf, isn't it?

To cross over with the landing craft.

It means that especially the times when the tide is high are good, I suppose.

Additionally, it was assumed that in July, there would be heavy fog, making landfall difficult.

So it was decided on June 7th, huh?

Before the landing operation, it's essential to conduct airstrikes to destroy the enemy's defensive status.

It was originally planned for three days ago.

Postponed and two days ago.

So, it's June 5th?

It was considered to launch a surprise attack with six aircraft carriers from the Nagumo fleet.

Well, to begin with...

This is something that is often said.

Did they want to occupy Midway with this operation?

We will exterminate the US aircraft carrier fleet that comes out in response to that.

People often ask which was the main objective, don't they?

So, as Masaki mentioned a little earlier,

Like 1 tsubo 2 isseki.

One stone, two pints.

Something like killing two birds with one stone.

It might be the case as a result, but you are probably aiming for it.

"I just thought that you could manage both with this."

I thought that if both succeed, it would be a huge victory.

Isn't it already crazy from the point of inspiration?

I feel that way.

That's right.

That's true, isn't it?

Whether the main objective is to capture Midway or to destroy the aircraft carrier force is...

We will move forward without making it clear.

The Combined Fleet itself was making statements emphasizing the importance of destroying the U.S. carrier task force.

The General Staff has been saying that their main objective is in the direction of conquest.

Since there are various testimonies,

In short, it's a story that I already knew.

On the side of the Combined Fleet,

It seems that they communicated again before the sortie that the objective was to annihilate the U.S. fleet.

In reality, it was not thoroughly communicated from the perspective of the participating units.

We should discuss things like this too.

It feels like we are mutually sharing a place where we can go, so let's go here.

In fact, it's quite common for both parties to be thinking about slightly different things from the beginning.

It's a bit uncool to say more when we both understand each other, typical of Japanese people.

I wonder if it will become noisy, so it's kind of a consideration.

It's not about getting into the nitty-gritty details, you know?

It's all about going with the flow, isn't it?

I have a slight bad feeling about this from this point onward.

Furthermore, I have a bad feeling about this.

Of course, even now, when carrying out a strategy like this, is there a simulation?

Of course, this is something that we do; it's called a diagram-based exercise or a diagram rehearsal.

Of course, the current Self-Defense Forces do it as well.

This was, of course, about a week from April 28, just over a month before the Battle of Midway.

At Battleship Yamato Castle, a strategic research meeting and a tabletop exercise were conducted.

Well, here too, it feels a bit like there's some subtle consideration or maybe even a trick.

Well, you know...

えー

Eh?

American mobile forces

Was it that as a result of the American task force's counterattack, the Japanese aircraft carrier was hit by nine bombs?

Yes, yes, yes, I got it, right, right, right.

"So it became a simulation where Akagi and Kaga sank."

The simulation is surprisingly accurate, isn't it?

Surprisingly accurate, this is.

Are you referring to Vice Admiral Ugaki, the chief of staff of the Combined Fleet?

はい

Yes

Well, isn't that a bit too much for those two statements?

No, it's just too much. When I did the simulation, it turned out to be correct.

Then just don’t do it.

I corrected the hit count to three and revived Akagi.

What is that?

I don't understand the meaning.

Furthermore, this is also a matter of simulation, but we succeeded in the strategy for Midway.

はい

Yes

Just one week behind the planned deadline.

あらー

Oh my!

It has not even reached a year.

悪い

Bad.

Some destroyers ended up being stranded.

Ah, what a mess this is.

はい

Yes

In response to that, Chief of Staff Ugaki said,

Let's start the operation so that won't happen.

No, no, no.

That's amazing!

If that's all it takes, then anyone can be a chief of staff.

It's amazing, isn't it? At this point, it's already full of suspiciousness.

That's amazing!

By the way, before this strategy, before conquering this Midway strategy.

Well, this has been postponed for over a week.

There is also the possibility that the U.S. carrier strike group could sortie from Hawaii while we are engaged.

ですね

Isn't it?

As expected, if it's been postponed by a week, there's definitely still time.

However, Colonel Matsuda, who was in charge of the aerial exercises for the U.S. military...

Um, was he the one who also played the captain of the Yamato? That’s a bit...

I remember Matsuda's name, but I'm sorry, I forgot a bit about the work.

Well, this person didn't let us deploy.

Please take care of it.

はい

Yes

It's more like I deliberately let a perfect opportunity slip away.

Well, um...

It means that you made adjustments to ensure the success of the military operation.

That's right.

I made some changes.

In fact, within this research group, there were requests made by the participants for...

Well, since we can't make it in time with the preparations, there have been various suggestions to postpone the operation.

And then I will die in battle.

Major General Tamon Yamaguchi, Commander of the 2nd Air Squadron

Then, Mr. Minoru Genda, the air staff officer of the 1st Air Fleet of the 1st Aircraft Carrier.

Well, later in the Air Self-Defense Force...

It's someone who will become great.

Major Minoru Genda opposes the operation.

I have proven that, however.

The command side is not listening.

It’s already decided that we’re going to do it, isn’t it?

That's right.

"Even if Lieutenant General Kondo occupies Midway, I wonder if the supply will continue."

In response to that, Chief of Staff Ugaki said,

If resupply is impossible.

The defense team will retreat even if they destroy the facility.

Does that mean if resupply is impossible, we will retreat?

I see.

So, in other words, even though it’s said to be a strategy, securing the island is completely out of the question.

It means you won't say that you'll secure it at all costs after conquering it, right?

I see.

It seems you don't want to make arrangements for the supplies needed for that.

Well, at this stage, after the occupation, we will launch an offensive in other areas.

If we do not allow the U.S. military to have the luxury of the Midway evacuation.

If we can secure Midway before the planned operation to conquer Hawaii in October.

Really like this.

Something like this...

Isn't it called "tariki hongan"?

I wonder what it is.

It can be described as simplistic.

If you connect the best parts, it's only natural that it would turn out that way.

That's right.

And with this, it's settled for now.

Is it just before the operation is about to depart?

"Above-the-head exercises of fleet combat in the Midway operation."

Also, let's discuss the operation plans and other details.

It was conducted on May 25th.

This was actually considered starting the day after the Midway assault.

So it’s already considered cleared, huh?

The worst part is that it's already been treated as if it's over.

Let's do something a bit lukewarm after that.

What's that?

That's right.

At this stage, the assumption is that the main force of the U.S. military and aircraft carriers are...

It is said that you can rapidly go westward from 450 nautical miles southeast of Oahu Island in the Hawaiian Islands.

That's why they stood up in a state of rapid progress toward the west.

In other words, the attack on Midway Island was a surprise attack.

It means that you're operating under the assumption that you succeeded in an instant.

We can now conquer Midway Island.

After that, the U.S. aircraft carrier group appears.

That's right.

"I'm going to take care of the one who came rushing in with an unsheathed sword."

You no longer doubt that order, do you?

That's right.

That's amazing!

And the next day, May 26th, this is actually the day before the sortie.

A briefing on the operation plan and coordination of the operation was held at the Akagi naval base.

At this time, it was also from Major General Tamon Yamaguchi, who had previously expressed opposing opinions.

The operation plan is inadequate, isn't it?

This is the most important part, isn't it?

This is going to have repercussions later, isn't it?

Yes, yes.

I expressed my opinion on that.

Well, I guess it's okay, right?

改められず

Not corrected.

Well, with that being said.

In the end, we are approaching the deployment on May 27th.

Not just that.

This so-called Nagumo Fleet is no longer...

There were various other problems as well.

The ships of the First Air Fleet have been continuing to fight since the naval battles.

Of course, there will be mechanical issues and malfunctions that will arise.

Of course, it will go into dry dock for extensive repairs.

It must be the right thing to do.

Naturally, the person riding it will accumulate fatigue as well.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

It’s not in a state to be able to deploy for the next major operation immediately.

There's nothing you can do about it, is there?

Furthermore, we will carry out personnel changes here.

出たー

It's out!

You really like personnel changes, don't you?

It's still the same now.

For the time being, we will make personnel changes, right?

A personnel change right before such an important operation.

That also occurs quite extensively in the transfer room.

Isn't it the case that this leads to such a continuous decline?

It's already decided, isn't it?

In addition, the original plan was to have six aircraft carriers.

I was planning to go to battle.

That has also become impossible, huh?

Before that, there were 3.5 rounds, right?

"This marks a promotion within the ranks."

Is the promotion a disaster?

A small cannon or something.

That's right, the small light aircraft carrier's small cannon is being sunk.

At this point

Because of such things

Two ships that were supposed to be promoted to the special status are unable to participate.

There are only four left.

Additionally, I'm sure everyone is well aware of this, but...

The information is a disaster.

It's not a bad thing.

Even now, it's not my army.

It's not an army, so it's my squad.

I have been causing various troubles, but...

"Wow, ordinary people like Kure, for example."

"Regular people can come to Midway, right?"

"Why do you want to see that?"

To say something even more interesting,

The Navy's 2nd Special Landing Team participating in this operation.

After June.

Please forward the mail addressed to Tōtai first.

Midway

It's a funny story.

Yes, actually, by talking about this kind of thing earlier...

"With no time to spare for every occasion."

There is no fiction created after the war.

Yes, various things have been clarified.

Even during World War I

The Allied Forces land at Gallipoli.

Gallipoli Landing Operation

As the world's first landing operation

It is famous as an amphibious landing operation.

It was planned, but...

It's about the Winston Churchill shelling operation, you know.

This is also about the Kumano period Gallipoli landing forces.

It is referred to as the Constantinople Expeditionary Force on paper.

Constantinople is.

At that time, it was the Ottoman Empire in Turkey.

It's Istanbul on the capital side.

It's the old name of Istanbul, isn't it?

It's Constantinople, isn't it?

Anyone who hears this will understand.

It's just that I'm only focused on where the targets for the attack are.

It was decided because of work with my dad.

There are also things that couldn't be fixed.

Yes, yes, yes.

It seems like it will still be there in about 30 years at that level.

I am a fool, aren't I?

Just now, Major General Tamon Yamaguchi made a request.

In the end, it got better.

Plans for strategy and tactics, etc.

I guess it feels like there was a gap from this point onward.

Well, speaking of tactics...

What is it, I wonder?

Well, it seems to be aerial reconnaissance.

In addition, establish a small naval battle with a submarine squadron.

That's right, it's just like lining up submarines.

You set a line in the sea to detect enemy ships, right?

That was the plan, but...

They might have used that submarine that was supposed to be in charge for something else.

As a result, we couldn't deploy the operation.

できず

Unable to do

Yes, it came about by effectively using some things.

I found myself in a situation where I might not make the deadline.

はい

Yes

Actually, after that...

Where the U.S. Navy's task force passes through.

In reality, there was a submarine scheduled for deployment.

There was a submarine squadron.

Of course, I couldn't find it.

Yes, originally.

I was supposed to be in position before the operation earlier.

The scheduled deployment ended up being on June 4th.

It passed on the 2nd.

It was two days ago.

It passed two days ago.

There are also things like that.

The strategy of this submarine is first.

In addition to the fact that things are not going at all according to the original plan anymore

It's air interception.

It's not a direct attack.

They have a base on an island in this sea area.

It's a daily reconnaissance operation involving large flying boats.

This large airship has a long range.

There is also the capability to lift it to places without airports.

I was good at using things like this.

In fact, this Nishiki large boat...

It's a large flying boat that Japan takes pride in.

This is Wake Island.

They also say "weiki" and such.

Via Wake Island

I was planning to conduct operations around Midway, but...

This wake vessel is too shallow to operate the Nishiki large ship.

As a result of the change to a different vessel, the Wodds vessel.

I can no longer conduct reconnaissance across the entire Midway area.

I can no longer do it.

No good.

Additionally, the pilot's skills are lacking.

Due to a lack of skill, I am unable to land at night.

I guess I'll have to wear a white hat.

I have to be back by then.

I can no longer go far.

It has been shortened from the original plan.

ということで

So, with that said.

That's the crucial part.

To the north side of Midway.

紹介

Introduction

This was scheduled for May 31.

This has been shortened.

Originally, it probably would have been discovered if it had flown this far.

U.S. aircraft carrier fleet

Could not be discovered.

I don't know what to say anymore.

これあの

Um, this is...

It's already self-defense now.

Since it's self-defense, I can't really say much.

If we were to introduce this northern sea area as planned...

Probably to the place where it was likely found.

There was a US aircraft carrier fleet.

I've done that many times already.

Something is escaping from the basket, a fish.

That's right.

Having made that mistake

So, the question is how it was on the American side.

The American side is really reaching a point where...

Is this Morobare Midway that kind of character?

First, the application of the external route of that ship will probably come like this.

"has come"

From the point outside the ship.

Is it going to be Hawaii or San Francisco again?

Or Alaska.

West Coast of the continental United States

Well, it's like San Francisco or something.

It seems to be the case that...

Well, among a few predictions.

Well, it's certainly unexpected to suddenly come to the West Coast.

That shouldn't be the case.

Well, towards Alaska or Midway.

It's not around here.

I had come quite close to the predictions being accurate.

It's often like this here.

After the war, it encompasses various aspects of history, so to speak.

Well, there’s the matter of having set a trap, isn’t there?

Yes, yes, yes.

It's about that flat text radio.

In short, it's unencrypted wireless.

From Midway to Hawaii

The seawater filtration system is malfunctioning, and we're running out of drinking water.

I'm in trouble.

I sent it from Hawaii to Midway and back to Hawaii.

The Japanese side that intercepted it seems to be at Midway.

When the water has run out.

It seems like they are having a hard time with something ordinary.

Well, grab it and then again.

"I heard it was sent wirelessly domestically."

In other words, it means that I fell into a trap, right?

And moreover, at this point in time

It seems that they were deciphering the navy's code.

On the American side

Later, because I changed that random number table

I temporarily couldn't decode the cipher.

Utilizing things like codebreaking.

Ah, this is this...

It is said that they found out the Japanese army is targeting Midway.

Decrypting codes, you know.

If I end up saying I've decoded the cipher...

The other party will naturally change that.

The nuances are difficult, aren't they?

That's right.

Too many things to do and give.

It seems like they've all figured it out.

Of course, they'll change the code.

While deciphering the code

Sometimes there is even a case of purposely not conveying that to the allied forces.

That's really quite something in that regard.

It feels so strategic, doesn't it?

Just how that code was actually solved, though.

I won't do things like that.

In short, in order to keep it a secret.

"Later generations might say this."

Did you make it?

There's also this story, you know.

Recently, such theories have been talked about quite a bit, haven't they?

In commemoration of the 80 years since the end of the war.

Well, various things will come up again.

ということで

So, that's how it is.

Well, the actual situation is...

It's in the thicket.

Well, in conclusion...

I knew they were coming to Midway.

So you were really into it, huh?

So, in response to this...

It was there earlier, wasn't it?

The preparations on Midway Island are, in fact,

It was quite perfect, you could say.

We have reinforced the defense team at Midway.

The latest TBF bomber at this point.

120 aircraft including bombers.

Reinforcement of personnel including 3,027 members of the U.S. Marine Corps.

"Additionally, deploy explosion-proof measures against salt damage and artillery."

The Marine Corps.

Well, it's lightweight equipment, after all.

How to repel an invasion of 5,000 people?

Sufficient military forces had been assembled.

This is also in combat.

It seems like we might end up being repelled after this fierce battle.

That's right.

It had turned into such a situation.

Regarding the fleet as well...

Suddenly to Hawaii.

Bringing back from the southwestern Pacific.

The Yorktown, which was damaged in the Battle of Coral Sea.

I made some emergency repairs.

When America says it is already fully prepared...

I will do my best to prepare as much as I can.

That would mean.

Well, we have finally launched.

May 30th

This is my birthday, though.

Thank you for May 30th.

Japan's transportation troops are

Near the nearby transport unit

To the Midway of the American submarine.

Make an emergency call with a long message.

Wow, it turns out that Japan was also intercepting this.

And then, that famous Professor Ugaki again...

Yes, yes, yes.

While intercepting that

Without taking any action.

Without considering changes to the plan.

In short, it's the idea that we were discovered by the submarine.

Well, that's just random, isn't it?

"Using the position of the bridge and triangulation..."

It's not something you can understand through triangulation, right?

That's right.

The submarine America has been detected by the enemy submarine.

There is a possibility or fear of that.

Even while being told that...

If you don't respond to anything.

Anyway, once the plan is decided, make sure to do it.

The goal is to carry out the plan.

And so, June 4th is the operation, right?

It's just before the operation.

When night falls

The Combined Fleet Headquarters in Yamato.

Enemy invasion

It seems like you're a criminal who intercepts enemy communications.

This is asking where this is.

I was in Japan, you see.

Near Midway Island

It seems to be a call sign for enemy aircraft carriers.

Well, it's a call sign.

was intercepted.

Director Yamamoto immediately

Please notify the Nagumo Mobile Force.

I conveyed it to the staff officer.

You didn't tell me, did you?

In short, if you break the wireless blockade.

Ships in operational actions do not transmit radio signals.

If the wireless blockade is broken, the enemy will know our position.

The aircraft carrier has half of the onboard aircraft.

Because I am preparing for a counterattack.

Or perhaps over there with the Nagumo Mobile Force.

The location you intercepted is much closer.

Well, that's true.

I have three things that I hope to have.

So it was obviously not communicated.

The Nagumo squad is more...

Of course, the Nagumo Squadron.

I wasn't intercepting.

Ah, so this is what it is.

Why not do it?

It feels like asking why not do it.

Well, even before launching the attack on Midway.

Just a little more skirmishing.

I'm already awake.

What is it, I wonder?

This is northeast of Midway Island.

The American military's flying boat has

Is it like the MacTic ship?

I have already discovered it.

B17s from Midway Island.

Nine aircrafts were launched and bombed.

In short, it means that an attack was also carried out.

Well, there wasn't much damage after all.

So I guess it's already taken care of, huh?

これはね

This is it.

So it's completely that then.

This means basically the same on the other side too.

Oh, they're coming, they're coming.

I’m arriving as scheduled.

It means "It means we are getting closer."

It's already completely obvious, isn't it?

Moreover, it has launched an attack.

We're also taking attacks, aren't we?

Yet, they really don't change their plans.

It's as scheduled.

June 5th at 1:30 AM Japan Time

The local time is 4:30.

The Nagoya Mobile Force has launched the Midway air raid squadron.

It happened earlier too.

It's the scheduled landing date, isn't it?

The scheduled landing date for the Marine Corps is June 7th.

It was decided that way.

So you started the attack two days before that, right?

Well, as scheduled.

It seems that the goal is to fulfill the schedule.

These guys.

Furthermore, reconnaissance aircraft.

The attack aircraft are also taking off one after another.

Well, this part is going according to plan.

The discovery of the Japanese army's aircraft carrier was made earlier.

American side

It's the Katarina airship that was mentioned earlier.

Yes, yes.

これが

This is

Locate the Japanese military's seaplane.

"With that said" or "Therefore"

Well, considering the subsequent threats...

This is obvious.

It's coming from a Japanese aircraft carrier or a Japanese surface ship.

"So it's natural to expect that the Japanese fleet is nearby."

Well, it turns out that it has become clear.

As a result of searching the area nearby.

Japan's aircraft carrier 1 Midway is at 320 degrees, 150 nautical miles.

You will be discovered soon.

It's not even 45 minutes since the attack started.

It hasn't been long, but...

about

えー

Ehm.

Well, it's in 1 hour.

In short, it was discovered 15 minutes after 2:15.

So that means it was discovered at 2:30, right?

はい

Yes

Of course, Japan also has flying boats.

Well, I could see that there was some contact being made.

From the light cruiser of the警戒隊 (Keikai-tai).

Well, and from the battleship as well...

The circular smoke signaling the discovery of enemy aircraft has risen.

"We launched the Zero fighter for a direct performance."

It got avoided.

うん

Yeah.

はい

Yes

Well, it seems that this airship was unable to be shot down.

Well, it's already been launched as a discovery.

So, that means interceptors and torpedo bombers were launched from Midway.

So it's said that [they] went up toward the unit in Nagoya.

Well, since we are both a bit far apart in every way.

The air raid from Midway.

The attack squadron finally arrived at Midway Island.

The Japanese attack team will arrive and begin the assault.

Is it 3:16 AM?

はい

Yes

Well, it's 6 AM there.

Well, I guess it's starting to get bright.

Is the wind starting to rise?

They carried out airstrikes on some anti-aircraft gun positions and ground facilities, inflicting damage.

There is little damage to the runway itself.

The number of casualties was relatively low at about 20.

Japan lost 5 bombers, 1 reconnaissance aircraft, and 2 Zero fighters in this attack.

So it means that it didn't have much effect, right?

It feels like we're both in this together.

はい

Yes

At 4 AM, Team Member Tomonaga, who was in command of this attack squad,

It seems that a second attack is planned against the mobile forces.

I will convey that this attack was insufficient.

Well, that's true, isn't it?

That's what I mean.

Well, I guess that means a secondary attack is necessary.

Of course, it's a secondary attack.

You are starting to prepare to launch the second attack squadron, aren't you?

はい

Yes

Regarding the idea of starting preparations.

It's already quite early even at that stage.

American military aircraft are heading toward that fleet.

The one that took off from Midway has arrived.

"Torpedoes were also dropped on Akagi."

ええ

Yeah.

I'll avoid all of this for now.

It's along the straight path.

The Cold War team is intercepting, huh?

Yes, I mean that I did drive them away.

At this point, you could say that the enemy has already discovered our location.

It's a situation where you're going to be under attack, right?

That's right.

However,

This is still from Midway Island.

Or perhaps it was an attack from around the island of Hawaii.

The American fleet is

Being close by is not something...

Are you saying you don't have dreams?

Yes, still, in the end...

Well, it seems I haven't fallen for that tactic of the reconnaissance aircraft.

Yes, regarding the earlier report from the Tomonaga team’s first assault unit...

We are preparing for a new air raid.

So it's at 4:15.

At 14:15, to the air units of each ship that are on standby

Today we will conduct an attack using attack aircraft.

We will organize the second attack squad.

At this time, the armor is white.

In other words, we are notifying you that we will attack the land.

This is it, right?

はい

Yes.

In movies, there's a highlight scene, or something like that.

That's right.

"Hurry up and switch to land equipment."

In short, at this time, those who were on standby as the second attack group were...

You were preparing for the mobile unit, right?

Is that so?

But you haven't found the mobile unit, have you?

Yes, probably the First Attack Force had already decided to go to Midway.

The others were in a state of being equipped with torpedoes.

We practiced before the naval battle.

In the experiment conducted on the flying dragon, the conversion from torpedo to bomb involved

It takes about one and a half to two hours.

The conversion work for the armament was carried out in a hurry.

This is being done at a nuclear storage facility, isn't it?

That's right.

Inside the ship and

This means that they are escorting the carrier force directly along the route.

Bring down the fighter jets that are on guard in the sky.

I have to refuel and resupply ammunition.

I had to open it.

The nuclear storage inside is just full of incredible airplanes, isn't it?

Amidst that, desperate efforts are being made.

Around this time, the American side was almost aware of the Japanese mobile forces.

Identifying the location of the Japanese task force.

Isn't it already decided that we've lost?

It's 3:07 AM.

Major General Fletcher addressed Major General Spruance.

"Proceed to the southwest and attack the enemy aircraft carrier upon confirmation."

Ordered at 4 AM.

The attack squad has launched immediately.

It's the movement of the 117th unit.

At 4:24 AM, the launch aircraft was dispatched.

On the other hand, at 4:24 AM, the aircraft was launched.

It was reported that a Japanese reconnaissance aircraft appeared above the fleet at 4:28 AM.

You don't have to launch them all at once.

For now, just go out in order of what you've already finished.

So it's true that they were in a hurry to get it out.

Moreover, it's not just about launching it.

They're heading straight into the attack, aren't they?

I see.

Without doing things like assembling the main body in the sky normally.

In any case, it all comes down to the fact that the first move wins.

Anyway, it means that we should take the initiative together and win first.

It seems that they were thoroughly instilling that idea.

The side of Major General Fletcher's 17th Task Force as well.

After recovering the reconnaissance aircraft that had been deployed for monitoring.

35 aircraft of the attack squadron were dispatched at 5:30.

This was certainly a Japanese reconnaissance aircraft.

This is the famous Tone No. 4.

Sent from Junshin no Tone.

It's a flying boat, isn't it?

I see 10 enemy-like ships.

Direction 10 degrees from Midway, 200 yen for 10 rounds.

So that's what you meant to convey.

It hasn't been said that there are still aircraft carriers here, I suppose.

That's right, I didn't say there's an aircraft carrier.

They're saying that there are as many as ten airplanes.

However, at this stage...

Actually, this position report was off.

It seems so.

It is said to be 160 kilometers further south than its original position.

I mistakenly sent it out.

はい

Yes

But at this point, I don't realize that it's off.

According to the story, this was a newly equipped aircraft.

Some say it was due to a discrepancy of ten minutes.

The truth of the matter is unknown.

About 20 minutes after receiving the contact, I suppose.

19分後

19 minutes later

At 4:47, from the headquarters.

"Confirm the bow and proceed directly."

This isn't a time for such leisurely talk, you know.

In the meantime, time is being lost more and more rapidly, right?

That's right.

So in short, while engaging in this confrontation...

I said to check what is actually there.

16 Dorniers bombers

It's still the base's aircraft.

That's right.

It has reached above the fleet.

It's just that...

This is in response to the interception of the Zero fighter by the direct distant machine.

No hits.

The American attack squadron lost 8 aircraft.

はい

Yes

It is said that Captain Henderson was also shot down.

I'm still doing my best around here.

The location is already completely obvious.

ですね

That's right.

はい

Yes

After that, as well.

An attack was carried out by the B-17.

The aircraft carrier was targeted, but there were no damages.

Well, it's a light bomber.

It's a product bomber, after all.

はい

Yes

Furthermore, the Marine Corps SB-2U Vindicator bomber.

Wasn't this a bit of an awkward shape?

Personally,

Air raids were also conducted by.

I can't deliver a direct hit with this either.

In short, the aircraft that came from Midway are...

So that means you defeated all of them.

That's right.

はい

Yes

The attack squad of the Japanese military that attacked Midway has returned.

はい

Yes.

It's just that...

The American military.

I was in the middle of a battle.

はい

Yes

As it was during combat, there was a risk of being accidentally shot.

This kind of thing is common on the battlefield, isn't it?

Well, a little while ago, make sure to properly look for Daiah and the aircraft carrier.

It was said, wasn’t it?

Yes, it's about the Tone Unit 4 that was mentioned.

The enemy's forces consist of 5 cruisers and 5 destroyers.

I will receive such a report.

Ten minutes later.

It seems to be accompanied by a ship that looks like an aircraft carrier.

Have you reported more on this?

はい

Yes

It seems that this aircraft carrier...

It seems it was a cornet.

That's what it means, isn't it?

So, that means there is an aircraft carrier.

I got it.

I understand, right?

Recently, we were attacked by Midway.

The attack squad that finished the Midway attack.

It will be the stage of accommodation.

Major General Tamao Yamaguchi, who was leading the 2nd Air Fleet of the 2nd Air Squadron, was on the Hiryu.

I wonder if this also requires immediate action.

Every moment counts.

はい

Yes

Anyway, to the headquarters.

Just leave it as it is for now.

Anyway, just let it out already.

はい

Yes.

It's fine to keep it as the original land-based bomb.

"I will launch the attack squad immediately."

I suggested that it should be launched.

まあね

Well, you know.

If it remains as a land bomb...

In short, even if you bomb an aircraft carrier...

It means that not much damage is anticipated.

That's right.

"However, as for Major General Yamaguchi..."

I mustn't be chased onto the deck.

You can earn money even during that time.

You should be able to unleash the next attack as well.

Of course.

In the end, that's definitely the correct way.

Anyway, if you attack...

"It’s about sinking an aircraft carrier."

You're obsessed with it, right?

Akunobo and below, it's better than Ichikou Sen.

はい

Yes

In short, at this point already.

Enemy strike forces are launching from their mobile fleet.

Well, there are times when you don't know that.

The distance discrepancy from earlier.

There is also a discrepancy in the reporting distance.

I still judge that it's far away.

Continuing the conversion of bomb armaments for secondary attacks.

Even if you say it's far...

It's not like we're going to leisurely arrive on a ship like that.

If an aircraft comes at a speed of 400 or 500 kilometers per hour...

You can probably get here in about 30 minutes even at 160 kilometers, right?

That's right.

It won't take 30 minutes, will it?

About 20 minutes.

If I think about it, then...

There is an aircraft carrier.

Whether the attack squad is putting it out or not is another matter.

Even if I don't understand.

Well, this is a bit, how should I put it...

You're just too laid-back, aren't you?

In addition to preparing for the aircraft carrier.

It seems like it will transition from a land bomb back to a torpedo again.

It means that it is being done in some parts, right?

The aircraft that returned after bombing Midway.

The aircraft are all circling around in a holding pattern.

In short, I'm waiting for the launch.

The fuel was running low.

Isn't that right?

We have to take them in, but...

So, what it means is that we have to prioritize the confinement this time.

Well, originally...

Even if you send out an attack squadron without any escorts or fighter planes, naked.

It means that you are being preyed upon by enemy escort fighters.

I understand.

While I'm pondering what to do about that,

In the end, Commander Nagumo...

I will reject Tamon Yamaguchi's "Just put it out there."

That's true, but...

But the U.S. military is surely already deploying it anyway.

That's right.

So, then.

At 37 minutes, we will accommodate the Midway attack squadron.

I have detained (or confined) them.

はい

Yes

It means saying.

And further, within such a flow...

"When can we take off?"

When will it be possible to prepare for the attack?

We keep getting reports like that coming in one after another.

In the meantime, 5:45 AM.

The city's fourth unit that was still continuing those direct operations.

You're doing your best!

はい

Yes

Furthermore, two vessels that appear to be cruisers.

うーん

Hmm.

It's a great fleet, isn't it?

はい

Yes

However, there are still no reports on the aircraft carrier.

The mentioned Hornet is not here.

Additional information comes in.

I want to grasp the position.

It's a long-wave radio wave, isn't it?

It's long waves among long, medium, and short waves.

Like radiating long waves.

I command Unit 4 of the city.

Yes

However,

When Unit 4 of the city emits that wave,

There was no radiation done.

I don't particularly understand the reason why it wasn't done.

That's right, isn't it?

I don't really understand this, especially.

Did it not get through?

At 5:55, 10 enemy attack aircraft are headed your way.

Only reporting as such.

Have you reported that the attack aircraft is heading this way?

はい

Yes

And did not emit radio waves.

Well, that's exactly why...

Were you being chased by a fighter jet or something?

But then, what’s called a back-mounted twin arrangement, or something like that...

I've taken that attack, you know.

"You are being chased by a fighter jet."

It’s like being chased by a fighter jet.

"Should report it."

That means you haven't received it.

I'm not quite sure about it, you know.

Well then, it's time for the first attack squad.

The one who headed east to attack Midway is...

The accommodation is complete.

In the case of sending flow,

The check-in time is 6:50 AM Japan time.

It took until nearly 7 o'clock.

Well then, already...

During this time, um...

Right away, isn't it?

The Fornet's Thunderbolt Squad is naked.

Did you wake up?

Yes, you’ve come here, haven’t you?

That's exactly it.

I quickly took out whatever I could grab.

It will be shot down by the entire fleet, won't it?

Out of the 30 people, 29 were killed in action except for one.

I see what you mean.

So I submitted them separately.

The Fornet fighter squadron and bombing squadron are

I got separated from the lightning squad because of the clouds.

In addition, the Nagumo forces could not be located.

It seems that is the case.

The fighter squadron and the bomber squadron have gone back, huh?

I see, you've gone home.

はい

Yes.

That's right.

Now, more and more will be coming!

6:50 AM

It's just around the time when the containment of the flow has finally been completed.

But I came here because it’s still sour after all.

You're really weak, aren't you?

Yes, but that was in exchange for shooting down one Zero.

29 people, including the captain, were killed in action.

It’s a complete defeat.

The torpedo has been evaded.

Shot down 10 aircraft.

Does it say that three machines survived?

Since it's all, that means two units, right?

So, with that being said.

Out of the 41 torpedo bombers that launched from the aircraft carrier.

Only three machines remain.

Up until this point.

Well, the U.S. military is also in a very bad state.

That's right.

It's really a case of gradually deploying troops, isn't it?

In any case, to precede the enemy.

To make the first move.

I'm doing it, but it's not going well.

Well, at 12:40 PM, the second wave attack team of the flying dragons has returned.

We also suffered significant losses in both the first and second waves.

Fighter jet 6, vessel 5, vessel 4, and then the 13 divisions, vessel 1, right?

Yes, so that makes it 16 units?

It's 16 units, there were only 16 units left.

Yes, so after 1 hour and 20 minutes, it will be 2 PM.

It’s an American fighter jet.

The American military dive bomber squad, it's quite the ragtag bunch, isn't it?

The 24 units sent in a makeshift manner have indeed reached above the flying dragon.

There was an interception of six Zero fighters along the straight path, and also a splendid return.

The attack by the six Enterprise squadron aircraft failed.

However, the bombing squad from Yorktown, the Enterprise squad, consisted of three aircraft.

This launched an attack with the squad's support, and four bombs hit the flying dragon.

Well, there are just not many planes stacked on the flying dragon itself.

That's right.

There are no fighter planes along the straight path either, right?

That avoidance could not be dodged merely by action.

So, it's the remaining two units of the Yorktown squadron. They primarily bombed the battleship Haruna that was navigating, but it ended up being close hits.

The 15 vessels of the Fornet fleet, which arrived late, attacked the Tone and Chikuma cruisers, but those too were successfully evaded.

はい

Yes.

After that, we are attacked by B-17 bombers that flew in from Hawaii, but there is no damage.

Sometimes, flying dragons come by, you know.

At this point, the flying dragon was still causing a fire, but it had not sunk yet.

はい

Yes

Until 6:23 PM, the agency was safe, so I went ahead with the withdrawal and summoning anyway.

In the end, a secondary explosion occurred, and it was determined that this could no longer be extinguished.

はい

Yes.

At that time, 11:30 PM, Major General Tamon Yamaguchi reported that all personnel would be dismissed.

After lowering the subordinate, Captain Kadotomeo sank with the Hiryu, along with the Hiryu.

So how did you tie your body up in situations like this?

That's right, like Rasimpan and so on, yes, yes, yes.

Well, they often say to use your body in batting, but...

はい

Yes.

Well, this scene is…

It has often been discussed in various movies as well.

はい

Yes

So, the flying dragon has also sunk now.

Well, it's a complete defeat.

はい

Yes

Well, at this point, we still have the battleship for escort, as well as cruisers and destroyers remaining.

ということで

So, that's it.

You're unharmed, right?

はい

Yes.

In night battles, you see...

Well, in short, it's about shooting at night.

はい

Yes

あの

Um...

"I will take revenge."

I was thinking.

はい

Yes

What this means is that at 2:13 PM, the Reconnaissance Aircraft No. 2, which is the second unit, reports that while there is no damage to the ships, the Enterprise-class aircraft carrier is listing and stationary.

Well, it's Yorktown, isn't it?

It's Toriyokutown, isn't it?

はい

Yes.

Yes, I discovered Yorktown and found 1 US aircraft carrier, 2 cruisers, and 4 destroyers.

After that, the second竹馬 (Takeuma) unit positioned four additional U.S. aircraft carriers behind the burning U.S. aircraft carrier.

How many are there?

はい

Yes

This means that there are now five unscathed American aircraft carriers.

はい

Yes.

So, we discovered this, and now the question is what to do about it. In reality, at 9:15 PM, Minister Yamamoto ordered the Second Fleet and the Nagumo Mobile Force to stop the night battle and return to regroup, and at 10:11 PM, they turned back.

If there were really five US aircraft carriers.

Well, actually...

It's about that, but...

We'll all be wiped out, won't we?

Yes, well, after that, the timeline is a bit confusing, but after the decision to cancel the night battle, the Hiryū will sink, and by the next morning, the Akagi will also be disposed of.

And furthermore, during this journey, the cruisers Mogami and Mikuma collide.

It's a famous photo.

Yes, there is.

There was an accident, and furthermore, Mikuma was also attacked by aircraft and sank.

Yes, and furthermore, Mikuma also came under attack from aircraft and sank.

So, it turns out that Yorktown was still alive after all.

I see you're still alive.

Not only was I alive, but I was also being glorified, and I was heading back towards Pearl Harbor.

In other words, if things stayed the way they are, we would have gone back to Pearl Harbor and fixed it up again, right?

Yes, it's true, but somehow here...

Two Igo Senaut aircraft entered the area after the bombardment of Midway Island.

Yes, but look, here...

Not only was I alive, but I was also heading towards Pearl Harbor in glory.

In other words, if things stay as they are, we would have gone back to Pearl Harbor to fix things again.

Yes, but here it is...

After the Mito's shelling, the Igo submarine E168 that was remaining in this sea area discovered the Yorktown.

Approaching after receiving the mission to sink.

Launched four torpedoes from two submarines, with two hitting the target.

Did you finally sink this time?

Furthermore, one of the shots hit the escort destroyer called Hamman.

This was also said to have sunk.

Surprisingly, Yorktown had been alive up to this point.

Too strong.

That's right.

So, to conclude, I think everyone is already aware, but...

Japan's four aircraft carriers were sunk.

It's a submissive Mikuma, isn't it?

One ship sank.

The total number of war casualties is 3,507.

The American side has one ship at Yorktown.

Then one Hamman.

In other words, it means that there were no sinkings in the aerial battle.

There were 362 war casualties.

Just one thing.

Where Japan won, the damage to the aircraft crew was

It was somewhat less than in America.

The airplane ultimately loses everything because of this.

You're losing it.

はい

Yes

We suffered a great defeat.

Right?

まあ

Well...

I've been looking at it step by step from the beginning.

はい

Yes

I knew it.

It's too much, how should I put it?

Is it that I'm thinking too much in a way that's convenient for me?

That's right.

うーん

Hmm.

Even after the actual battle began, it's still the same.

Like the plans from before, you know?

Starting from the point of advancing

Well, it's like saying "Hey, hey."

It was a series of them, wasn't it?

To be honest, the reality between us is...

The mobile fleet aircraft carriers of both sides.

Since the time I started to recognize the enemy.

It's almost evenly matched now.

Even that exchange.

Over there, America is also making mistakes.

While Japan is also making mistakes.

That's exactly a good timing by coincidence.

Because in the end

The fleet that sank three aircraft carriers in six minutes.

You're coming here naked, right?

That's right.

So at that time, a direct pull machine happened to be in the sky.

If there had been a considerable number left, they would have been driven away.

Various coincidences overlap.

That's exactly like the issue with the compass misalignment of Tone Unit No. 4.

A lot of things overlap.

This is connected to this great defeat.

That's good, you know.

Of course, the American military also suffered significant losses.

It seems like I've managed to grab the last piece of luck.

In the end, I guess it means that I kept going until I finally grasped that luck.

That's right.

As for the results regarding that,

The Magma team won't be released until they are fully prepared, no matter what.

"Or until accurate information arrives."

It seems like there's a tendency to procrastinate on making decisions.

I knew it would be like this.

Is the army hasty and reckless?

Yes, yes, yes.

From that perspective, it sounds like you're saying the opposite.

However, as Mr. Suzuki mentioned along the way,

In the end, it's about how amazing the dam control is.

We have now seen this example from Yorktown.

When I think about things like this, it certainly makes sense.

As expected, it's an attack with torpedoes.

I can understand the feeling of thinking that we can’t move forward until the torpedoes are ready.

Originally, a torpedo is...

Rather than taking back personal mobility, it might be.

Adjust the progress.

The best way is to detonate it directly underneath this ship.

In short, it means to break that keel.

Breaking the dragon bone is the most ideal.

If you could do that, you would be able to sink a large ship in one shot.

That's where I aim for the finishing blow, you know.

I guess you wanted to make that attack, didn't you?

In the end, I ended up experiencing such a great catastrophe.

In the end, this Japanese mobile unit is...

It will never return to this scale.

It leads to a downfall later on.

It will connect, but…

Consider this as the total.

First of all, it's about the fact that we're going to have the Midway Naval Battle itself.

Including the significance.

I wonder what this strategic ending is about.

It's more about the tactical aspect and the endings used in that battle.

It's like both were this way.

Well, as I mentioned earlier,

It's not exactly killing two birds with one stone, but...

Those who pursue two swords gain neither one.

It seems like I'm overthinking things a lot.

"You can't just take it; if you take it, you won't be able to maintain it."

If you can't maintain it, then just withdraw.

After securing Midway Island

Because the U.S. military troops are coming out.

In that case, shouldn't we just take care of it?

If things went as well as I hoped, then...

That means no one struggles, right?

This is really something, isn't it?

It feels like all the bad aspects of Japanese people that resonate with the modern age have come to light.

There are also places like this, aren't there?

Well, really...

The Battle of Midway, you see, is...

It's turned into various things, even into movies and more.

I wonder if there was a way to change things every time I reflect on it.

There are just too many moments where it feels like everything worked out somehow.

By the way, this is completely unrelated, but...

This is Major General Tamon Yamamoto.

It's about Major General Tamon Yamaguchi, who died in battle alongside the flying dragons.

Is he your third son?

was alive relatively recently

Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh.

We've had drinks together a few times.

Well, it's the same with everyone.

はい

Yes

I have met you in person before.

Mr. Yamaguchi looks quite a bit different as well.

Well, of course, I have gotten quite a bit older.

When I look at old photos, you really look just like your father.

I have also had drinks with Mr. Yamaguchi.

It was a valuable experience.

はい

Yes

That's why in Japan...

It could be said that it determined the odds of the Pacific War.

I have been discussing the Battle of Midway.

はい

Yes

The final Midway battle.

What was this Battle of Midway all about?

I would like to ask for a brief summary, if possible.

It's difficult, though.

That's why this war...

This approach or stance toward war in Japan itself is...

Don't miss the bus, for example.

"Like wanting to join the winning group."

What do I want to do?

"I'm going to America on my own."

Are you going to go all the way to trashing it?

Or at some point.

Even when talking to America...

How to make the materials, for example.

Furthermore, to put it another way,

Which country will mediate for us, I wonder?

Without thinking about things like that.

Anyway, I have to do it now.

I think it's a war that starts with something like having to catch a bus.

In the end, that's how a strategy-less plan like this is devised.

その結果

As a result

まあ

Well…

"Is it said that they were defeated as if it was destined to be?"

うーん

Hmm.

On the contrary.

Win this naval battle here.

Even if we occupy Midway.

Well, it just delayed the defeat by about six months.

I think that's probably true.

In a sense, the atomic bomb has also taken on quite a meaning.

Well, in that sense, I suppose it's just that.

Everything is about oneself.

You shouldn't decide based on your own hopeful expectations.

Isn't that exactly the case with driving as well?

I can't do things like driving with a Daro.

これが

This is

That car might come out, huh?

This direction, the train.

It might suddenly swell up, huh?

It's about a bicycle.

But that kind of...

If there were always predictions, or rather...

While thinking, the possibilities.

I need to think about it.

At the same time.

Once the operation begins,

"Anyway, just put out as much as you can in advance."

It turns out that it was correct again.

That's right.

So in the end, it has turned out like this too.

It's just that America was right.

In short, up until a certain point, it was completely America.

I messed up.

The torpedo squad has been deployed, but they are all wiped out, you know.

The pilot who returned was from that thunder strike squad.

Because it's a fighter squadron, to the pilots.

Somehow, grabbing onto something.

Like getting angry and grabbing at someone or something.

It seems that there were also such instances.

That's right, so after all...

We will use the wisdom of future generations.

I talk like this with hindsight, but...

In the end, which one was the correct answer is...

At that point, you can understand.

But still, I need to properly clarify that ultimate goal.

"Once we have a grasp of it, everyone will move accordingly."

In that respect, Japan was indeed lenient.

There's no doubt about it, is there?

ですね

That's right.

So, with that, the major battle of the Pacific War.

It dealt with the Battle of Midway.
