本日から新しいラジオ番組はい元気と真由のデザイン

Starting today, a new radio program featuring Genki and Mayu's design.

なんじゃもんじゃっていうのがですね 始まったわけですよね

What we call "Nanjamonja" has begun, right?

このラジオはですね 日頃であるデザインに関する興味疑問驚きひらめきなどを共有していきます

This radio program will share interests, questions, surprises, and inspirations related to design in our daily lives.

皆さんはデザインはお好きですか?

っていうコンセプトでラジオをですね 始めていこうかなと思っております

I am thinking of starting a radio show with that concept.

なんかようやくスタッドレスタイヤが活躍したんですよ

Finally, the winter tires are getting some use.

すごくしたなと思ったんですけど

もうこの冬の到来っていう形で

まあもちろんね 市民のこの生活に関して言うと道路テカテカになったり

スキー場とかウインタースポーツとかに関して言うと

冬とか雪を見ると何かこう思い出すデザインとかって元気さんありますか?

Do you have any designs that remind you of something when you see winter or snow, Genki-san?

冬のデザインって言うと

When it comes to winter designs,

私はやっぱりビール

I knew it, beer after all.

なんでなんでビールなんですか?

Why beer, why?

やっぱりこう

I knew it would be like this.

冬になると私ビールを飲みたくなるんですよ

In winter, I want to drink beer.

Yes

温かいお部屋で冷たいビールっていうギャップが楽しいんですよね

The contrast of enjoying a cold beer in a warm room is really enjoyable, isn't it?

でこのビールのラベルも冬ならではのラベルで

This beer label is also seasonal for winter.

冬ならではのラベルで

A label unique to winter.

なんか白っぽい雪っぽい感じ

It feels kind of whitish, like snow.

Yes

ラベルのデザインが展開されたりするんですよ

The design of the label is being developed.

そういう意味でもやっぱり

In that sense, after all.

あ冬来たなっていうのをそこで感じますよね

You can really feel that winter has arrived there, can't you?

まゆさんはどうですか?

あのー駅とか駅構内に貼られてる広告なんですが

Uh, regarding the advertisements that are posted in the station and inside the station...

はい

Yes

あのJRのスキースキーっていう広告が毎年楽しみなんですけど

I look forward to that JR ski advertisement every year.

うんうん

Uh-huh.

あの女優さんの顔が大きくその広告の真ん中にこう写ってて

That actress's face is big and prominently featured in the middle of that advertisement.

でキャッチコピーがこう横に入ってる感じなんですけど

The tagline is kind of placed horizontally like this.

キャッチコピーもそこまで長くないんですけど

The catchphrase isn't that long, though.

なんか写真とキャッチコピーであのー好きに行きたいなっていうこう思うんですよね

I feel like I want to go freely with the photos and catchphrase, you know?

Yes

これがもちろんそのキャッチコピー考える方もすごいなと思うし

Of course, I think it's amazing that the person who came up with this catchphrase is impressive too.

憧れるなと思っていつも見てます

I always watch it thinking how admirable it is.

冬になったらこう行きたくなるとか

When winter comes, I feel like going like this.

思い出させてくれるとか

It makes me remember.

そういうあの広告媒体って本当に素敵だと思うんですよね

I really think that kind of advertising medium is wonderful.

ちなみに今月のJRスキースキーさんのキャッチフレーズが

By the way, this month's catchphrase for JR Ski is

冬を取り戻すんだ

I'm going to take back winter.

Ah-

っていう形になって

It has taken that form.

あーなんかわかりますね今のちょっとご時世的に

Ah, I kind of understand that in the context of the current times.

まあ何年かこうアウトドアとか

Well, for several years now, I've been into outdoor activities and such.

そういうのがあるんですけど

There is something like that.

そんなにこうみんな誘っていけなかったりとかしたんで

I couldn't invite everyone like that.

まあ今もちょっとまだ厳しい状況ですけど

Well, it's still a bit tough right now.

まあ気をつけながら感染に気をつけながら

Well, while being careful, be careful of infection.

でもこう冬も楽しもうねっていう感じになんか捉えられますね

But it feels like we can somehow enjoy winter too.

その短い言葉でそこだけ

あの人に与える影響力っていうのは本当に素晴らしいものがありますよね

そしてやっぱりビジュアル的にもこれこだわってますよね

I wonder, it's mostly just that face, isn't it?

けどあの女優さんみんな美しいんで

But that actress is beautiful like everyone else.

でもすごいこう印象に残るんですよね

But it really leaves a strong impression.

男性バージョンはちょっとあるかわかんないんですけど

あの広告ってすごい短いキャッチフレーズで

そういう意味でやっぱりこう広告媒体素晴らしいものがありますね

普段から見るようにはしてるんですけど

I try to see it regularly.

あの世の中って

That world out there

デザインされてないものがないのかなって最近思いまして

I've been thinking lately that there might not be anything that isn't designed.

Yeah.

えーと普段あの私は車で通勤してるんですが

Well, usually I commute by car.

車ももちろんそのメーカーがちゃんとこう車のデザインをされてて

Of course, the cars are designed properly by the manufacturer.

可愛い車だったりかっこいい車だったりあると思うんですが

I think there are cute cars and cool cars.

他まあ今自分の目の前にあるペットボトルの飲み物のラベルとかも

The label of the drink in the pet bottle right in front of me as well.

どういう飲み物が入ってるとか

What kind of drink is inside?

どういうものが使われてるっていうのがちゃんとこう

What kind of things are being used, I want to know properly.

文字の大きさを変えて分かりやすく表現してあったりとか

Changing the font size to make it easier to understand.

あとはまあ建物とかもそうですけど色が違うとか

Well, there are also things like buildings, but the colors are different.

まあ全部デザインだなって思いまして

あとは駅とか行くと

えーと上の看板にあの乗り口はこちらとかあると思うんですが

あれも普段何気なく見てましたけど

I usually see that without paying much attention.

ものすごい分かりやすいなって最近

I’ve recently found it incredibly easy to understand.

こう考えながら見ると思うんですけど

I think about it like this when I watch it.

アリアフリー的なデザイン優しいデザインも世の中にはたくさんあるんだなって私は思ったんですけど

I thought there are many designs in the world that are gentle and accessible.

まああの動画の撮影のお仕事があって

マガジンハウスさんから出てるアンドプレイのデザインを使ってますね

あの動画を見た時にアンドプレミアムっていう雑誌の写真の雰囲気とかを参考にしてたんですよね

When I watched that video, I was referencing the atmosphere of the photographs from a magazine called And Premium.

あの本すごく秀逸だなって思うのが

I think that book is really outstanding.

写真の色味だとか

The color tones of the photo, or...

トーンとか

Tone, etc.

あとはレイアウトとかがすごく考えられているなって思ったんですよ

2月号なんですけど

これお料理の特集だったんです

本当に美味しそうに見えるもの

見せるものって

What you show.

ものすごくライティングをして

Doing some incredible writing.

よく牛丼チェーンのメニュー表にあるような

Like what is often found on the menus of gyudon chains.

すごいしずる感じ

Amazing sizzling feeling.

油滴ってる感じの

It feels like it's dripping oil.

綺麗なお写真を想像すると思うんですけど

I imagine that you think of beautiful photos.

アンドプレミアムは

And Premium is

自然のまま日常のままを切り取って

Capturing the everyday as it is in nature.

それが落ち着きがあるんだ

That has a sense of calm.

美味しいものなんだっていうのを表現してるっていうのが

It expresses that it's something delicious.

すごくよくわかる

I understand it really well.

そういう表現の手法をされてるんですね

So that's the technique of expression you are using.

表紙なんかも写真の位置関係とかバランスも

The cover also has the relationship and balance of the photo positioning.

すごくこだわっていて

Very particular about it.

雑誌なので手で持つ

Since it's a magazine, I'll hold it by hand.

手で持つと写真隠れてしまう

When you hold it by hand, it hides the photo.

そこを意図的に対象物から外して

Intentionally remove it from the subject.

余白エリアをうまいこと活用して

Make good use of the margin area.

レイアウトしてるっていうのが見て取れたので

I could see that you were laying it out.

この写真1枚でこんなこだわるのか

Are you really that particular about just this one photo?

すごく思ったんですよ

I thought a lot about it.

それもよさに共有したお話ですよね

ただ全然毎月公読してもいいレベルのクオリティだと思います

言い回しのやり方とか

Ways of phrasing things, etc.

そういう意味でもそれだけで勉強できる

In that sense, you can study just from that alone.

素晴らしいツールだなっていうのはすごい感銘を受けましたね

雑誌とか本とかからもデザインのことって勉強になりますよね

You can learn about design from magazines and books, right?

今だとネットを使ってちょろっと検索したり

SNSで検索したりっていうのでも

Like searching on social media, for example.

ある程度自分が思っている答えって出てくると思うんですけど

I think to some extent the answers you have in mind will come up.

それだけではないものっていうのが

It's not just that.

本から手触りだったり

It felt like the texture of the book.

その本の匂いだったり

It was the smell of that book.

雰囲気だったり

It was the atmosphere.

そういうのを受け取ることができる

I can receive something like that.

っていうツールだと思うんです

I think it's a tool like that.

そしてそれは自分がもし買ったものだとしたら

And if it were something I had bought.

いつまでも手元に残っておける

It can remain in your possession forever.

そういう素晴らしいものだと思うんですよね

I think it's such a wonderful thing.

両方が流れないもの

Things that neither flow.

ネットのやつってどうしても消えてしまったり

Things on the internet tend to disappear, no matter what.

流れてしまうものなんだけど

It's something that flows away.

本は残るものなのかなって

I wonder if books are something that lasts.

なんかデザインの本とか読んで

I read some books on design.

自分はこう思ったってこともこれから

I think this will be the case moving forward.
