こんにちは 浅野瑞希と言います

Hello, my name is Mizuki Asano.

私は宇宙出身 宇宙育ちで

I am from space, raised in space.

今はシンクハピネス 株式会社シンクハピネスというところに

Right now, I am at a place called Think Happiness, Inc.

社員として働いていて

Working as an employee.

毎週水曜日をフラットスタンドに立っています

I stand at the flat stand every Wednesday.

その他の曜日はお隣のリックステーションというところ

On the other days, I go to a place called Rix Station next door.

訪問看護リアビリステーションで

理学療法士として訪問してます

在宅の方

For those at home

在宅で介護とか看護とかされてる方のところで

At the homes of those who are receiving care or nursing.

リハビリをしに行くっていうかね

It's not that I'm going to do rehabilitation.

毎週水曜日にこのカフェに立っている

I stand in this cafe every Wednesday.

この辺ちょっと説明を最初にしてもらいましょうか

そうですよね

That's right.

確かに私はもともと病院で

Certainly, I originally [was] in the hospital.

新卒からは総合病院で勤めてたんですけど

I worked at a general hospital since graduating.

そこで単位調整とかで

So, for unit adjustments, etc.

単位先の生活を考えながらリハビリをしたりとか

I am doing rehabilitation while considering life after graduation.

実際お家に行かせてもらって

ここに手すりあった方がいいですよね

とかっていうのをやってたんですけど

I was doing something like that, but...

それをやってる中で

While doing that

どうしてもその人の生活が見えないなというか

I just can't seem to see that person's life, you know?

病院で普段過ごしてしまっているので

Since I usually spend my time at the hospital

病院の中での生活ベースに

Based on life in the hospital.

自分がなっているっていうのは思ってたし

I thought that I was becoming that way.

あとは家族の力とか

"Also, the power of family and so on."

お家の環境次第で

Depending on the home environment.

家に帰れる人もいるし

Some people can go back home.

施設を選択するっていう方もいて

Some people say they want to choose a facility.

そこが何なんだろうなと思ってて

I wonder what that is.

自分の家に帰れる人もいるし

Some people can go back to their own homes.

その中でも分かんないけど

I don't understand that among them, though.

病院に向いたら分かんなそうだなと思って

I thought it might be hard to understand when heading to the hospital.

一旦病院を辞めて

I quit the hospital for a while.

でもとはいえ地域に飛び込むのも

However, even so, jumping into the community...

今の自分が飛び込むのも違うなと思ってて

I feel like it's not right for me to jump in as I am now.

一回理学療法士自体を辞めようと思って

"I once thought about quitting being a physical therapist."

薬師間

Yakushima

色々あって薬師間に半年ぐらいいたんですけど

I ended up staying in Yakushima for about six months due to various circumstances.

そこで住み込めてきて

So you can live there.

ゲストハウスのアルバイトをしながら

While working part-time at a guest house.

色々回ってて

I've been going around to various places.

薬師間に結構カフェが多いんですけど

There are quite a few cafes in Yakushima.

そこの島自体も結構小さいので

That island itself is quite small as well.

なんか町、島の人たちが来て

Somehow, the people from the town and the island came.

常連さんもいるし観光客もいるしだけど

There are regulars and tourists, but...

結構店の人との距離が近いなと思って

I thought the distance with the shop staff was quite close.

なんかそういうのを見たりして

I somehow ended up seeing something like that.

こういう触れ合い方というか

It's kind of a way of interaction like this.

私は新卒から

I have been since fresh graduate.

理学療法士として患者さんとしか接してなかったから

Because I only interacted with patients as a physical therapist.

なんかちょっと違う接し方というかが

It's like a slightly different way of interacting.

なんか楽しそうだなってなんとなく思ってて

I somehow thought it seemed fun.

で、そんなこのままなんか

So, like this, just as it is?

カフェの人になろうかなぐらいに思ってたんですけど

I was thinking of maybe becoming a person from a café.

でもやっぱり理学療法士っていう仕事も楽しいよな

But being a physical therapist is still fun, isn't it?

っていうのを思い出して

I remembered that.

っていう状態の時に幼なじみが

At that time, my childhood friend...

女子の幼なじみが

My childhood friend who is a girl.

となんか話す機会があって

I had a chance to talk about something.

その話をこうタラタラしてたら

If I drag out that story like this...

その子が武蔵野大商店でアルバイトをしてたんですけど

That child was working part-time at Musashino Grand Store.

なんかうちの社長と会ってみればみたいな感じで

It feels like I should meet our president or something.

かすやさんだったんですけど

It was Kasuya-san.

それがかすやさんと繋げてくれて

That connected me with Kasuya.

実際お会いしてかすやさんの話を聞いて

Actually, after meeting with Kasuya and listening to his story.

境界線を曖昧にするっていうところをおっしゃっていて

You mentioned about blurring the boundaries.

なんかそこが全然わからなかったけど

I didn't really understand that part at all, but...

なんかワクワクしたんですよ

I felt a thrill.

やってることを聞いて

Tell me what you're doing.

なんか行ってみたいなと思って

I thought I wanted to go there.

実際見学をさせてもらったりとかして

Actually, I was allowed to go and see it.

やっぱりなんかワクワクしたので

I felt really excited after all.

とにかくここで働かせてくださいみたいな感じで

I just want to feel like I can work here, no matter what.

言って仲間に入れてもらって

その時にフラットスタンドっていうのも

At that time, there was also something called a flat stand.

初めて来させてもらったんですけど

This is my first time being here.

なんかその理学療法士だけじゃなく

Not just that physical therapist, but...

カフェもやりたい

I also want to run a cafe.

そのどっちかその役所にいた時にやったら

If you did that while you were at that office.

カフェの人やろうかな

I might do a café.

でも理学療法士もいいなって思ってて

But I also think being a physical therapist would be good.

両方できるんだみたいなのが

It seems like I can do both.

なんか私としてはなんかすごいと思ったというか

I thought it was really amazing, or something like that.

そんなになんか考えずに

Don't think too much about it.

両方やってみたいですみたいな感じで言わせてもらって

I would like to say that I want to try both.

そしたら受け入れてくださったっていう感じで

Then it feels like they accepted me.

両方ここでできちゃうんだよねっていう

さっき立ってるって言ったら何をしてるのかなと思って

I was wondering what you were doing when you said you were standing earlier.

具体的にこのカフェで何をやってるんですか

What exactly do you do at this café?

そうですね

That's right.

コーヒー入れたりとか

Like making coffee and such.

あとは月に1回今は自分がスパイスが好きなので

As for the rest, since I currently love spices, I do that about once a month.

スパイスカレーを作って提供させてもらったりとか

I made and served spice curry.

他にもフラスタにもともとあるランチメニューを

The lunch menu that originally exists at the floral stand.

臨時されながら修行してご飯を作ってみたいな

I want to try cooking while training temporarily.

ランチを出したりしてますね

They are serving lunch, aren't they?

あと駐車場の草むしりをしたり

And also pulled weeds in the parking lot.

それは和田さんの指示で

That was at Mr. Wada's instructions.

もちろん一緒に師匠の指示で

Of course, together under the master's instructions.

和田さんの指示で結構

かすやさんの指示で草むしり

Weeding at Kasuya's instruction.

すごい思いが伝わったっていうか

なんかでも今その偶然っていうか

Well, it seems like that coincidence just happened.

ラッキーだったって話しちゃってる

I'm talking about how I was lucky.

でもなんかでも今お話聞いてて

But somehow, listening to your story now...

やっぱり人が触れ合う場所ってすごく居心地がいい

After all, places where people interact are really comfortable.

っていうのがすごく僕も分かって

I really understand what you mean.

でもやっぱそれ要はたまり場みたいなところ

But after all, it's basically a hangout spot.

で多分それってそういうところに居心地の良さを感じたっていうところは

And perhaps that’s where I felt a sense of comfort.

多分もちろん多分かすやさんも同じような考えだったと思うし

I think Kasuya-san probably had the same kind of thoughts too.

すごく必然的にそうなったのかなって思いましたね

I thought it happened very inevitably.

あとはだからやっぱりその

So, after that, I guess...

医学療法使用されてて僕もそうですけど

I also use medical therapy, just like others.

まあ僕なんか特にそのね

Well, especially for someone like me...

やっぱこの患者さんが

After all, this patient...

じゃあ実生活でどうなるかってそこまで普通はまあ

Well, in real life, it usually doesn't go that far.

もう仕事として割り切っちゃうんですけども

I’m going to see it as just a job, you know.

そこまでしっかりこうイメージして

I want you to firmly imagine it like that.

何とかしてあげたいって多分思ったんだろうなと思って

I think they probably thought that they wanted to help in some way.

まあそこら辺もそのなんか責任感っていうか

Well, there's also that sense of responsibility, I guess.

それがすごいなってそれって何か

That's amazing, so what is it?

だって多分ほとんどの方は

Because probably most people

まあ私はここまでやりました

Well, I've done this much.

じゃあもう病院出たら

Well, once I leave the hospital...

まあもちろんね病院出ても元気にやって欲しいって言うの多分思ってると思うんですけど

Well, of course, I think they probably want you to be doing well even after you leave the hospital.

まあそこまで何かなんでしてあげたいと

Well, I just want to do something for you.

おお私が理学療法師を目指したきっかけは

Oh, the reason I aimed to become a physical therapist is...

高校の部活動だったんですけど

It was part of a high school club activity.

部活の仲間が怪我が多くて

My club members often get injured.

でも人数も少ないから

But since there are also few people.

剣道部だったんですけど

I was in the kendo club, but...

あの支援には出てもらわないといけなくて

I need you to participate in that support.

その怪我を持ちながら何とか稽古して

Training somehow while dealing with that injury.

支援に出るみたいなことをしてた中で

It seems like I was doing something like going out to support.

自分がこう心配しつつもらわないといけなくて

I have to receive it while worrying like this.

無理しないでいいよって言い続けてしまった

I kept saying that it's okay not to push yourself.

っていうところがあって

There is a point where...

その子がリハビリに通いながらやってたんですけど

That child was going through rehabilitation while doing it.

なんかその怪我をしてたりとか

Like, having that injury or something.

病気を持ってても

Even if you have an illness.

本人がやりたいと思っていることを諦めなくていいように

So that the person doesn't have to give up on what they want to do.

サポートしていくというか

It's not so much about providing support, but...

そういう存在が理学療法師なのかなって

I guess that's what a physical therapist is.

その時にちょっと思って

At that moment, I thought a little.

なんかその挑戦する人の

The person who challenges something.

背中を押せる人が

A person who can push you from behind.

人になりたいっていうのはずっと思ってて

I've always wanted to be a human.

なんか多分そこがあるから

I think it's probably because it's there.

結構その人生とかその人の人生に関わるって

It significantly relates to that person's life or life itself.

いうところに魅力を感じて 絵がくり補助を選んだので

I chose to pursue art because I find魅力 in what it represents.

そこは結構行きがちかもしれないですね

That place might be quite a popular destination.

ある種割り切った方がいい場面ももちろんあるんだけど

Of course, there are certain situations where it's better to be somewhat pragmatic.

なんか寄りがちというか よくも悪くもかなと思うんですけど

I feel like it's somewhat inclined to come together, for better or worse.

そういう話はホームズ大好きだよね

仕事で歩いて通るなんて言ったじゃないですか

来年2025年で75歳以上の方が5人に1人って言われてる

It is said that one in five people will be 75 years old or older by the year 2025.

そんな中の時代に入っていくと

As we enter an era like that.

自分たちはまだまだ目標だとか夢だとかって

We still have goals and dreams ahead of us.

目がけて暮らせてますけど

I'm managing to live with my eyes set on it, though.

70代80代って今仕事引退して

People in their 70s and 80s are now retiring from work.

その辺で寂しい部分とか

The lonely parts around there, etc.

なんかその仕事中に感じたこととか

Something you felt during that job.

少し逆にアドバイスもらえると

I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice in the opposite direction.

聞いてる人なんかも参考になるかな

70代80代の方が

People in their 70s and 80s.

接する時っていう

When it comes to interacting.

接してなんか今日寂しそうな顔してるなとか

You seem to have a lonely look on your face today when I interact with you.

なんか考え事ばっか最近してるなとか

I've been thinking about things a lot lately.

落ち込んでるなとかって感じる時って多分あると思うんですけど

I think there are times when you can probably feel like someone is feeling down.

そんな時ってどういう風に接してます?

How do you usually interact during such times?

そうですね

That's right.

本当に私も今そこはずっともがいてるところではあるんですけど

I'm really struggling there myself right now as well.

気づいてるけど

I realize it but...

医学療法士としてあえて触れない時もあるし

There are times when I deliberately choose not to touch on certain things as a physical therapist.

なんか最近こそあったのは

"Recently, it seems that something has happened."

車の免許を

Driver's license

車の免許を免許更新に行きたいっていう

I want to go to renew my driver's license.

おじいちゃんがいるんですけど

I have a grandfather.

もう70代ぐらい

It's already in the 70s.

高齢ドライバーにはあるけど

It's something that older drivers have.

もともと運転していろんなところに行って

Originally, I drove to various places.

釣りをしたりとかするのが好きだった方で

I liked things like fishing.

その免許更新に行く途中で

On the way to renew that license.

自転車で転んじゃって

I fell off my bicycle.

骨折しちゃったっていう人じゃなくて

It's not someone who simply said they broke a bone.

その方はその骨折自体は良くなってはいるんですけど

That person is getting better from the fracture itself, but...

その免許更新をするしないとかっていうのは

Whether or not to renew that license…

家族の思いはしないでほしいって危ないからっていうところがあるし

I want you not to think about family because it's dangerous.

でも本人はやっぱり今までずっとそうしてきたこと

But the person has been doing it that way all along.

買い物行くにも奥さん乗せて

Taking my wife along even when I go shopping.

自分が車出して連れて行ってたっていうところがあるんで

There's a part where I was the one driving and taking them.

そこは本人にとっても大事にしてるところだなと思うから

I think that's a place the person really values.

やっぱり最初は落ち込んでたし

I was definitely feeling down at first.

だったんですけど

It was that way, but...

いろいろこう歩きながら

Walking around in various ways.

歩く練習をする仕様をしてたんですけど

I was practicing walking.

歩きながらいろいろ話聞いて

"While walking, I heard various stories."

車以外の話とか

Talk about things other than cars.

お庭いじるのも好きだっていうのを聞いたりとか

I heard that you also enjoy gardening.

どうしてもそこにできないってなると

If it absolutely can't be done there, then...

もちろんそこをどうにかするっていうのもそうなんですけど

Of course, figuring out how to handle that is one way to look at it, but...

もう何個か選択肢を広げるみたいなのを

I’d like to expand on a few more options.

意識するようにはしてます

I try to stay conscious of it.

なんとなくイメージで今までできてたものが

Things that have been done somehow based on an image until now.

やっぱ人ってその年齢を重ねていくと

As people age, you know...

できないものがやっぱ増えてきて

There are definitely more things I can't do now.

そうすると例えばお酒でも遊びでも

In that case, for example, whether it's alcohol or play...

なんかそういうのが増えてけば増えてくほど

The more those kinds of things increase, the more...

今度生きててもやっぱつまんないんだとか

"Even if I live next time, I guess it'll still be boring."

なんかそういう風になってくと寂しいな

It feels lonely when it goes that way.

自分の親がもしそういう風に介護始まった時に

When my own parents begin to require that kind of care.

たぶん結局子供って言いたいこと言っちゃうと思うんですよ

I think in the end, kids probably say what they want to say.

でもそれが医学療法士とかのプロの方って

But that's professionals like physiotherapists and such.

また違う角度からたぶんアドバイスできるから

I can probably give advice from a different perspective.

絶対的にたぶんその人たちにとっては

Absolutely, probably for those people.

すごいプラスだと思ってて

I think it's a great plus.
