It seems to be a place where the audience is the main focus, I understand. It's a well-written piece.

翻訳されっ ていない4というかなんとしますようにあの日本人作家の絵本も借りるんですけれども以前にもね紹介し聴海津が語った事がありますけども翻訳された絵本と払ったことがありますけれども totally разбored reading websites, translated LIVE, original looking at it.

I hope that the untranslated book number 4 will be borrowed, and also the picture book by that Japanese author, which I have introduced before. I have talked about how translated picture books exist, but I have totally gotten bored reading websites, translated live, and looking at the original.

絵本ということは海外で作られた絵本なわけで、それはですね、おそらく海外の文化というか、そういったものがですね、垣間見えるんじゃないかなと思って、それを知りたくて、翻訳絵本を主に借りていると。

Since picture books are made overseas, I believe they probably offer a glimpse into overseas cultures, and that's why I'm primarily borrowing translated picture books in order to learn more about them.

主にですね。もちろん翻訳絵本じゃない絵本も借りますがね。そんな感じでございます。

Mainly, yes. Of course, I borrow picture books that are not translations as well. That's the general idea.

たまたまこの時はキツネと願い事というタイトルですけど、他にもキツネの本を借りてきました。

This time it's titled "The Fox and the Wish," but I also borrowed other books about foxes.

別にキツネが好きとかそういうわけではないんですけど、嫌いでもないですけどね。

It's not that I particularly like foxes or anything, but I don't dislike them either.

特に意味はなくタイトルで借りたと。タイトルと翻訳絵本ということで借りたというところでございます。

There is no particular meaning; I borrowed it because of the title. I borrowed it based on the title and the translated picture book.

では本書の内容を紹介していきたいと思いますけれども、

こちらはですね、カバーの内側とか帯が全くないのでどう紹介しようかなって感じなんですが、

Well, there's nothing at all on the inside of the cover or the obi, so I'm wondering how to introduce it.

まずですね、どうでしょう。キツネと願い事と聞いてどんなお話を想像しますでしょうか。

First of all, what do you think? What kind of story do you imagine when you hear about a fox and a wish?

この願い事。

This wish.

というのがですね、簡単に言ってしまえば、永遠に生きていたい、そして死にたくないという願いなんですね。

What it comes down to, simply put, is the wish to live forever and not to die.

簡単に言ってしまえばですけどね。

To put it simply.

こちら結構ファンタジックな作品でして、キツネがですね、イタチと出会うんですけど、イタチはですね、キツネに食べられたくないっていうのもあってですね、

This is quite a fantastical piece where a fox meets a weasel, but the weasel doesn't want to be eaten by the fox.

魔法を使えるよと、魔法をかけてあげるよと、それで願い事を言ってみてと言ってですね。

"I'll tell you that you can use magic, and I'll cast a spell for you, so go ahead and make a wish."

その願い事は直接別に永遠に生きたいとか死にたくないってことじゃないんですけれども、

That wish doesn't directly mean that I want to live forever or that I don't want to die, but...

その魔法を使えるようになった後ですね、出会うのがまた死神と出会うんですね。

After you become able to use that magic, you will meet again with the Grim Reaper.

死神をこの先ほど言ったイタチの魔法によってですね、

By the magic of the weasel I just mentioned, the Grim Reaper...

死神って死ぬっていうことですから、死神を遠ざけることができたんですね。

Since the Grim Reaper means to die, it looks like we were able to keep the Grim Reaper away.

魔法を使うことによって、イタチから授かった魔法で、授かったわけじゃないかな。

By using magic, it seems that the magic granted by the weasel was not really a gift.

イタチの魔法で死神を遠ざけることができて、生きながらやることができたというお話なんですね。

It's a story about how one was able to ward off the Grim Reaper with weasel magic and live while doing so.

最後どうなるか。

What will happen in the end?

ここはなんとなく皆さんわかるんじゃないかななんて気がしますけれども。

I have a feeling that everyone here might sort of understand this, don't you think?

すごいもう説明が難しくてですね。

看護医療専門家の方の言葉があるので、そちらをご紹介したいと思います。

人間は常に確かなものを探し求めている。

Humans are always searching for something certain.

しかし、人生において唯一、

However, in life, the only thing is that...

確かなことといえば、私たちがいつかは死ぬということである。

One certain thing is that we will eventually die.

それならば、この確かさの上に立って人生を眺めてみるのが助けになるかもしれない。

In that case, it might be helpful to observe life from the standpoint of this certainty.

この文言にもあるようにですね、生きる死ぬということがテーマになっているんじゃないかなと思いますね。

As stated in this phrase, I think the theme of living and dying is being addressed.

Well, um...

生きながら得たい、永遠に生きたい、死にたくない、といって死神を遠ざけ続けた狐が最後どうなるのか、というところですね。

It's about what happens to the fox that kept the Grim Reaper at bay, saying it wants to live forever, wants to live while alive, and doesn't want to die.

はい、まあ、そんなことを考えるきっかけになるようなお話なんじゃないかなと思います。

Yes, well, I think it's a story that might serve as a trigger to think about such things.

で、最後独り言ですけどね。

死にたくない。

I don't want to die.

という言葉。

まあ、どちらもですね。

まあ、患者さんから聞くことがあるんですね。

Well, there are occasions when I hear things from the patients.

まあ、一応ね、死がない薬剤師ではありますけれども、薬局の現場でですね、患者さんとお話をしていると、そんな言葉を聞くことがあります。

Well, I am a pharmacist who does not deal with death, but when I talk with patients in the pharmacy, I sometimes hear such words.

まあ、死にたくない。

Well, I don't want to die.

というのは、そうですね。

Well, you see.

何かまだ、こう、やり残したことがあるというか、まあ、やり残した存在があるというか、そういった方から聞かれるのが死にたくないという言葉ですし、あるいは、もうこれ以上生きたくないという意味で死にたいっていうふうに言う人もいますね。

It seems that there is still something left unfinished, or rather, an unfinished existence, and from such people, the words "I don't want to die" are expressed, or there are also those who say they want to die, meaning that they no longer want to live.

そういったことは、そういった方はまあ、大体生きていても何もないというか。

People like that, well, they generally have nothing going on in their lives.

というふうにまあ、言ったりはしますけれどもね。

もちろんあとは、その痛みとかね、そういった苦しみをこれ以上感じるぐらいなら死にたいっていうふうに言いますかね。

まあ、それがどれほどのこの本気度なのかとかっていうのは、ちょっと分かんなかったりもするんですけれども。

Well, I'm not really sure how serious this is, though.

まあ、そういった言葉を聞く機会があるという意味で言うとね。

Well, in the sense that there's an opportunity to hear such words.

まあ、生きるしねということを考えするって、意味でもね、良い作品だななんて思ったりもしましたね〜。

Well, I thought it was a good piece in the sense that it makes you consider what it means to live.

まあ、私ね、ツネ・ズネではないですけど、要は大人こそね。

Well, I'm not Tsune-Zune, but in short, it's adults who really matter.

英本王という方っていうことがありますけれども、別に私の言葉ではないんですけども。
