I want to translate and publish novelist Bessie Head's long novel into Japanese.

商業出版したいということで

I want to publish commercially.

20年以上足掛けやってるんですよ

I've been doing it for over 20 years now.

たった一冊の小説を出版するために

To publish just one novel.

ようやっとそれを具体化させようとしているところなんですけれどもね

I'm finally trying to make that a reality, you know.

年齢はまた40代だったんですけど

だからすごくショックな出来事でした
