As I mentioned last time, I am currently wearing a kimono and playing a role, so recently I took out various kimonos that I have at home.

This is the story of Pia Raji, episode 46.

I started attending a training center called the Opera Training Institute Diary Group in my fourth year of university and continued for two years.

At that time, I cut out various scenes from operas for study, like famous scenes.

So while singing with acting like in an actual opera.

勉強

Study

I had the experience of being taught various things, and since there is a genre called Japanese opera, Japan...

Naturally, in operas set in Japan, there are many roles that are performed wearing this kimono.

While doing something like that, it's probably very common for classmates to wear kimono.

I wonder if it was a hobby, since there are people who like it.

But every time we practice, I just can't help it.

You came to practice in your own kimono with a polished look.

There was a classmate, and really...

I'm used to it, so it's okay. In opera, there are various intense movements and singing, but...

Also, when I start writing, I tend to move a little.

It might get a bit disheveled, but if you look closely, I quickly pull that side a little.

It feels like I'm just slipping my fingers in here a bit to adjust it, and even after wearing it all day, it hasn’t sagged at all by the time I get home.

It was really wonderful, you know. So...

Ah, something like this in the future.

I thought it was really important to be able to wear a kimono myself and to be accustomed to it when it comes to doing something in traditional Japanese attire.

At that time, I didn't have much money, so I was looking for a place to learn kimono dressing that was as inexpensive as possible and also fit my schedule.

I found an inexpensive kimono dressing class for three months and attended it.

You can take your own kimono with you.

We had to use some unique items from that classroom, like belt pillows, so we ended up buying them.

But other than that, there aren't really any various expenses.

"After attending for three months, I can more or less wear a kimono on my own."

Then tie the obi, and tie the taiko.

Tying a obi or tying a double drum knot,

As we gradually move forward, what we call cold clothing,

Tips for putting on a kimono like a tomesode for formal occasions.

It felt like I was taught something, and it was around three months, I guess.

So, when I asked my mother if we had any kimono at home,

The kimono that my grandmother had was brought by my mother when she married.

There should be some inside this box, so...

If you search for it, it feels like...

Well, when I started digging around,

Both my mother and grandmother were much smaller in stature than I am, but...

I have 2 or 3 kimonos that I think I can manage to wear somehow.

So, bringing up something like that,

So, from halfway through, it's a full set of tools for dressing.

If I take everything, it will become quite a burden, won't it?

Well, it's not just about going to that kimono dressing class,

So, on the way back, there were times when I would also go to my part-time job.

It's such a hassle, you know?

Also, if there's something like an errand or going somewhere on the way back,

Since it's that, as much as possible, you know,

By going a couple of times from the middle, you'll actually be able to wear a kimono already.

I'll wear a kimono, and then I'll adjust it according to that day's study content.

Well, how about we just untie the obi and start from there?

I was doing it like that.

Well, at that time,

Um, grandmother,

The Oshima Tsumugi kimono that my mother's mother used to wear,

I really like it.

Well, it was the largest size.

Among those that were in the house.

So, along with that, well,

I'll select someone who seems suitable for that.

Wear it as a set,

Um, I was attending a kimono dressing class.

So, well, I think it's great that I went through kimono dressing training, because...

As expected, at that moment when it was disheveled,

Um, about how to fix it,

Tips for dressing in a way that prevents it from falling apart in the first place.

Well, nowadays, you can find videos on platforms like YouTube,

There are many kind videos, so...

I think it could snap even if I don't go to the classroom at all, but...

At that time, there wasn't much of that kind of thing.

If it's just looking at a book,

There are definitely some parts that are difficult to understand in terms of movement.

So, um, at that time, passing by,

I think it was really great.

Well, I would occasionally remember it.

"Really, it's been about 6 or 7 years since then, hasn't it?"

The first time I played the role of the mayor's wife, Suzuki,

Everyone is wearing kimonos, and well,

I was able to help tie the obi for that town mayor as well.

Oh, I thought it was good that I learned it.

So, um, I currently live in this apartment here,

I've been living here for almost 20 years.

Um, when we moved into this house, well, there were various loads.

When I was organizing things, well, your kimono...

Just because she can wear it, my mother can't actually wear it herself, so...

"Um, I said I would give you my grandmother's kimono."

It seems like you received a lot of different things.

Well, I had that all organized, but...

It seems that among those, my grandmother was very carefree.

It seems that it was very enjoyable to be in the chair, with role-playing construed in Japan.

As I thought.

So, I don't think there is anything that I will be told during this press conference right now.

It was very easy with the tree.

I have never met my grandmother.

Because they passed away before I was born.

Well, it's just that...

Haregi? It's not a kimono for going out.

It's something you usually wear, but it's super elaborate.

I have a lot of nice things like spinning and such.

Moreover, you know...

Properly various for each.

It feels like the sizes were tailored to be subtly different.

"Then there's my grandmother's and my mother's."

Three more mothers.

Since 3 out of the 4 siblings are girls,

"Maybe it would be tailored to each of those daughters."

There are also things that were made by taking measurements.

I think it's all mixed up and messy.

Anyway, you see...

この

This

It's nice to have a kimono, but...

I wonder which foundation is suitable.

That's strange.

The sleeves don't fit, do they?

After various things happened

Don’t wear it or something.

"Just sometimes getting a little confused."

There are also a lot of things that are just kept stored away.

When I see that kind of thing, it's really plain.

There are many elegant kimonos, you know.

It's cool in a subtle way, but...

But from a young age

Wearing something that's too sober feels a bit off.

I can't help but think, "That's a bit much."

And moreover, to a place where I would wear that spun fabric.

Since there aren't many opportunities to go out in kimono.

I've been saving it all along.

So this time, you know...

"I'm rummaging around again to find that training outfit."

Basically, we sit on the floor of the rehearsal studio as if we are walking in those shoes.

As expected, with a good kimono, dirt comes off easily.

There is also a concern that they might not do it.

Um, I have a washable kimono.

That size for slightly taller people, or something like that.

It's being sold online now, isn't it?

Buy something like that.

I used that as a training uniform.

Well, sometimes, you know.

Just to refresh my mood.

I was just thinking if there’s a nice kimono.

This time, I was rummaging through various drawers again.

That's quite cool, isn't it?

Grandma's kimono is wonderful.

I was just watching.

If I think about it carefully

It is said that my grandmother passed away at the age of 52.

The age at which my grandmother has already passed away.

I'm too much.

That means...

Huh, is this all of it already?

This grandmother's kimono.

I don't think it's unusual for me to wear it at my age.

Just something a little.

I was surprised and exclaimed "Oh!"

Well, a little bit.

There are many things that lack both snow and bamboo.

Depending on the thing.

I was thinking it would be nice if I could wear something like this.

I also tried looking at it with those kinds of eyes this time.

It's a kimono, isn't it?

There are a lot of rules and regulations.

It's a bit of a hassle.

What should I do if it gets dirty?

Also, it's difficult to move.

It's hot and various things.

Well, I do think there is.

But well.

As fashion.

So much to enjoy.

That incredible

Well, how should I put it...

Unless it's a place where I'm invited.

If it's casual wear, then.

You don't have to be so particular about it.

There are really a lot of people who say that.

I thought that too.

I want to be a little more relaxed too.

Sometimes I do wear it, you know.

I've been thinking I want to try it on.

It's still really hot this time too.

Because it's what I'll wear for practice.

Well, there are days for yukata too.

Also this time...

That is called awashijira weaving.

It's like a soccer jersey in terms of clothes.

A slightly uneven or bumpy surface.

I have a cotton kimono.

That's a coincidence, isn't it?

Laughing at the Rakuten Super Sale.

I bought it as a product with issues.

Tall.

アンド

And

It seems that they are selling something with a slightly wider width.

So, about those things.

And moreover, the ground is also half-substrate or something like that.

That's the one with just the upper body, right?

Wearing such things and also that underwear inside.

When you wear something like UNIQLO's Airism for sweat absorption,

Surprisingly, it's quite cool, isn't it?

So it doesn't feel too hot and uncomfortable.

So, I tried to keep the number of strings as low as possible.

In my case, that Han Harbor belt...

Tie it flat in the back.

Make it like a shell's mouth or an arrow shape.

"Then I won't use a pillow anymore."

If you don't wear an obi-age or something like that, it will be like this.

It's the orchestra that breathes when they sing.

If you don't tie your obi properly, it feels like the orchestra when you take a breath while singing a song.

You know.

Make it feel that way.

Please do what can be omitted as much as possible.

Dress lightly.

I want to try wearing that.

If you search for it on the internet...

People who usually wear kimonos.

I was able to learn about various innovations and ideas.

I think it's an amazing era.

And also the belt board, you know?

Things like that are called mesh.

There are also things like datemaki, huh?

So, I think that if we make each of these places well-ventilated, it becomes easier.

This is the first time for me this time, right?

Despite wearing a scroll for a long time, it's the first time I've actually tried using it.

I decided to buy something called a "Kourin Belt" as well.

In that case, even when I moved a little more intensely, you know.

The upper body tends to fit tightly.

"Also, if you try reducing the number of those strings..."

Because it can lower the PD discount as well.

This is a bit easy, isn't it?

It was a new discovery.

So, everyone, do you wear things like clothing?

Well, since it's a valuable part of Japanese culture...

"To make sure it doesn't disappear, but well, it's quite something to wear it anywhere."

There are some parts that are a little difficult, though.

Well, it's true that it's a bit difficult to wear it just anywhere.

There are certainly some parts that are quite difficult.

However, I also think that I want to go out dressed up sometimes this time.

So, this was the 46th episode of Piora Temple, where I talked about my thoughts on kimono after taking the opportunity of the mayor's wife's lesson.
