火のような主 (ﾔﾊｳｪ) のことば

今日はエレミア書23章9節からのところからお読みしますが

Today, I will read from Jeremiah 23:9.

私たちは普段主の言葉を読むことで

We usually read the words of the Lord.

主の言葉は私たちの心に平安を生み出すと思います

I believe that the Lord's words create peace in our hearts.

でも今日のエレミアの箇所はそうじゃ

But today's passage from Jeremiah is different.

エレミアは主の言葉を聞くことで

Jeremiah heard the words of the Lord.

私は酔いどれのように武道手に負けた男のようになったと言って

I said I became like a man defeated by a drunken martial artist.

混乱しあったと言っているんですね

They are saying that they were confused with each other.

そしてイエス様は十字架に向かう途上で

And as Jesus was on his way to the cross

イエス様のことを

About Jesus.

嘆き悲しむ女たちに向かって

To the women who lament and mourn.

エルサルムの娘たち

Daughters of Elsalum

私のために泣いてはいけません

Don't cry for me.

むしろ自分自身と自分たちの子供たちのために泣きなさいと

Rather, cry for yourself and for your children.

エルサルムに対する神の裁きが実現することを恐れ

Fearing the realization of God's judgment upon Jerusalem.

そのため心から泣くことを勧めました

Therefore, I encouraged you to cry from the heart.

そのイエス様の嘆きの約600年前に起きた

This occurred about 600 years before the lament of Jesus.

それが

このエレミアの時代に

In the time of this Jeremiah

エルサルムが廃墟となったというストーリーですね

この世界は様々な不条理がある

This world has various absurdities.

神は時が来るとそれに裁きを下す

God will pass judgment when the time comes.

でもそれを通してこの世界が新しくされる

"But through that, this world will be renewed."

主の言葉には火のような

The words of the Lord are like fire.

恐ろしさ火のような力があるんだ

There is a terrifying power like that of fire.

ということを覚えたいと思います

I would like to remember that.

でもね

But you know...

たまに混乱しないといけないの

Sometimes, you have to be confused.

だって主の言葉は私たちに

Because the Lord's words are to us...

普段考えていることの常識の転換を迫るものですから

It challenges the common sense of what we usually think.

だから主の御言葉を聞いて

So listen to the Lord's words.

混乱するというのは実は健全かもしれない

Being confused might actually be healthy.

読むたびに平安だ平安だと言っているのは

Every time I read it, I say it's peaceful, it's peaceful.

かえって読み方が間違っているかもしれないよ

It might actually be that the reading is wrong.

ということを覚えたいと思います

I would like to remember that.

23章の9節から22節のテーマは

The theme of verses 9 to 22 in chapter 23 is

偽予言者のテーマです

The theme of the false prophet.

そして23章9節では

And in chapter 23, verse 9,

エレミアの葛藤が

Jeremiah's conflict

主の聖なる言葉のために

For the holy word of the Lord.

私の心は内に砕かれ

My heart is shattered within.

骨は震え

Bones tremble.

酔いどれのように

Like a drunkard.

葛藤酒に負けた男のようになった

I became like a man defeated by conflict and alcohol.

エレミアが混乱していることを

That Jeremiah is confused.

告白しています

I am confessing.

続けて10節では

In the following verse 10,

血が貫通するものに見せているからだ

It appears to be something that penetrates the blood.

血は呪われてもに福し

Blood is cursed but brings fortune.

と言って

That being said

民全体が

The entire population

全然悔い改めの様子が見えない

I don't see any signs of repentance at all.

エレミアは気が気じゃない

Eremia is restless.

でもみんなは大丈夫だよ

But everyone is fine.

って言っている

I'm saying that.

11節12節

Verses 11 and 12

預言者も祭司も穢れている

Both the prophet and the priest are defiled.

そして神殿の中に

And inside the temple

悪がある

There is evil.

それゆえ彼らの道は

Therefore, their path is

暗闇の中の滑りやすい場所のようになっている

It feels like a slippery place in the darkness.

滑りやすい場所っていうのは

A slippery place, that's what it is.

本当に滑って

Really slippery.

落っこちるっていうですね

It means "to fall down" or "to drop."

危ないところに立ってるってことを言っている

It means you are saying that you are standing in a dangerous place.

13節

Verse 13

サマリアの容姻者たちの中に

Among the inhabitants of Samaria

ごまかしがある

There are deceptions.

彼らは

They are.

イスラエルの民を惑わせた

He confused the people of Israel.

エルサレムの預言者たちの中にも

Among the prophets of Jerusalem.

嘘をついて歩き

Walking while telling lies

悪を行う者をかえって励ますような人がいる

There are people who end up encouraging those who commit evil acts.

彼らは皆神にとって

They are all for God.

ソドムのようであり

Like Sodom.

ゴモラのようだ

It looks like Gomora.

要するに裁くしかない

In short, there's nothing to do but judge.

預言者っていうのは

A prophet is...

神の言葉を語るはずなんだけれども

I should be speaking the words of God, but...

昔から残念ながら

Unfortunately, since long ago.

宗教とお金は結びつきやすい

Religion and money are easily connected.

新約の時代でも

Even in the era of the New Testament.

使徒パウロは言った

The Apostle Paul said.

知性が腐って真理を失い

Intelligence rots and loses the truth.

経験を利得の手段と考える者たちがいる

There are those who consider experience as a means of gain.

信仰の手段と考える者たちがいる

There are those who consider it a means of faith.

信仰によって金儲けを考える人がいるんだ

There are people who think about making money through faith.

それに対して23章15節

In contrast, chapter 23, verse 15.

万軍の主が

The Lord of Hosts

そんな偽予言者に

To such a false prophet

苦よもぎを食べさせ

Let me eat the bitter mugwort.

毒の水を飲ませる

Make them drink poisoned water.

不経験が許されるのが

Inexperience is allowed.

予言者から出て

Out of the prophet.

前道に広がっているからだ

It is because it is spreading out in front of the road.

不経験が許されるのが

Inexperience is allowed.

そして主は

And the Lord

不経験が許されるのが

Being inexperienced is allowed.

主はイスラエルの民に向かって

The Lord said to the people of Israel.

あなた方に予言する

I prophesy to you.

予言者たちの言葉を聞くな

Do not listen to the words of the prophets.

彼らは

あなた方を

You all

虚しいものにしようとしている

Trying to make it something empty.

彼らは

They are.

自分の心の幻を

The illusion of my own heart.

語っているだけだから

Because I'm just talking.

残念ながら

Unfortunately

いつの時代にも

In every era.

自分の心の幻を

主の心の幻を

The vision of the Lord's heart.

主の言葉と取り替える

Replace with the Lord's words.

説教者がいます

There is a preacher.

語り難いことを語る

To speak of what is difficult to express.

しばしば起こるのは

What often happens is

聴衆の耳に

To the audience's ears

心地よいことばかりを語る

Only speaks of pleasant things.

主はあなた方に

The Lord is with you.

平安を与えてもらえる

I can receive peace.

というのは

偽予言者が言った

The false prophet said.

ばっかり言うのは

Always saying that.

偽予言者だと言うんですが

They say he's a false prophet.

あなた方には

To you all

わざわざここない

"You come all the way here."

みんなね

Everyone, you know.

そういう風に言ってもらいたい

I want you to say it that way.

そういうことを

Such things.

言う偽予言者がいる

There are false prophets who say.

23章18節で

In chapter 23, verse 18.

誰が

主との親しい交わりに

In close fellowship with the Lord.

加わったか

親しい交わりというのは

Close relationships mean

主の会議に誰が加わったか

Who attended the Lord's meeting?

なんで主の会議

Why the Lord's meeting?

皆さん

Everyone

議事録見たら

I looked at the minutes of the meeting.

議事録は結論しか書いてないでしょ

The meeting minutes only write down the conclusions, right?

どうしてそういう結論になったのか

Why did it come to that conclusion?

会議に出ると分かる

You will understand when you attend the meeting.

会議において

In the meeting

本当にどういう背景から

What kind of background really led to this?

こういう結論になっているのか

Is this the conclusion we have come to?

分かるというのが

It means "to understand".

主の親しい交わりに加わって

Joining in the close fellowship of the Lord.

主の会議に出ると分かる

You will understand when you attend the Lord's meeting.

主の言葉の背景を説明できる

I can explain the background of the Lord's words.

ということが大切なんだ

That is what is important.

神様は

God is

何の痛みも感じずに

Without feeling any pain.

エルサレムを滅ぼそうとしているわけじゃないんだ

そして23章19節20節で

主の燃える怒りが

You might find it easier to imagine a tornado.

主は

The Lord is

お決めになった災いを

The calamity you have chosen.

実現するまで

Until it is realized.

主の怒りは去ることはない

The Lord's anger will not pass.

聖書に

In the Bible

万軍の主の熱心

The zeal of the Lord of hosts.

ということが分かる

It becomes clear that.

それは

本当に主の言葉を軽蔑するものに対する

"Truly, towards those who despise the words of the Lord."

厳しい裁きです

It is a harsh judgment.

でも同時に

With the zeal of the Lord of hosts.

憐れみもあるんです

減り下るものに対して

To those who lower themselves.

主の憐れみが注がれる

The Lord's mercy is poured out.

十字架というのは

罪に対する神の怒りのあるものです

私たちを救いたいという愛

怒りと愛が交差しているのが

神の中にいるか

ということが問われる

主の言葉の背景から

説明することはできない

近くにいれば神なのか

Is being nearby what makes you a god?

なんでこういう書き方をするのか

偶像の神々というのは

The gods of idols are

いつも身近にいるんですよ

They are always close by.

身近にいるから

Because you are close to me.

神とは

思うのか

ご自身を姿に表しちゃいけないと

You must not show yourself in your true form.

偶像にしちゃいけないと言っている

当時の日本人にとっては

神見えないじゃないの

The gods can't be seen, can they?

どこにいるの

Where are you?

という感じになっている

It has become that kind of feeling.

でも

But

そういう発想はどうなんだ

What do you think of that kind of idea?

遠くにいれば神ではないのか

"Isn't God distant?"

神から身を隠すことができると

Can you hide from God?

思っているのか

What are you thinking?

天にも地にも

In heaven and on earth.

私は見せているではないか

Aren't I showing it?

しかも

Moreover

当時の偽予言者は

The false prophets of that time

どういうかというと

What I mean is

23章25節

Chapter 23, Verse 25

私は夢を見た

I had a dream.

夢を見た

と言って

夢で示されたことを語る

They are trying to make us forget the name of God.

皮肉を言いながら

While making sarcastic remarks

夢を見た者は

Those who dream.

預言者は

The prophet is

夢を見た預言者は

The prophet who dreamed.

夢を語るがいいと勝手に

Feel free to speak about your dreams.

だけど最後には裁かれるよ

But in the end, you will be judged.

と言って

Saying that

一方

On the other hand

私の言葉を受けた者は

Those who have received my words.

28節

Verse 28

私の言葉を忠実に語らなければいけない

I must speak my words faithfully.

麦は藁と何の関わりがあるか

What relationship does wheat have with straw?

考えてみたら

Thinking about it.

麦も

Barley too.

藁ってのは麦の後だからさ

Straw is what comes after the wheat.

同じ植物じゃないかと思う

I think it might be the same plant.

だけど

But.

麦は腹の足しになるんですが

Wheat can fill the stomach.

藁は何の役にも立たない

Straw is of no use at all.

同じように

In the same way.

一見の人間は

A person at first glance

二世預言者が語る言葉も

Words spoken by the second-generation prophet

参考になるように見えるかもしれないけど

It may seem like it could be helpful.

主の言葉はあなたに力を生み出すけど

The Lord's words create strength within you, but...

またあなたの人生を変える

It will change your life again.

創造的な力があるけど

You have creative power, but...

藁は何の役にも立たないよ

Straw is of no use at all.

そして23章29節

And then, verse 29 of chapter 23.

私の言葉は火のようではないか

My words are like fire.

岩を砕く金槌のようではないか

Isn't it like a hammer that breaks rocks?

と言って

Saying that.

主の言葉には

In the words of the Lord

創造的な力がある

There is creative power.

この世の言葉には

Words of this world have

創造的な力がないけど

I don't have creative power, but...

主の言葉には

In the words of the Lord

創造的な力がある

It has creative power.

そして

And then

31節

Verse 31

32節にかけてですね

To verse 32, yes.

私は敵となる

I will become the enemy.

って

"Right?"

私は敵となる

I will become the enemy.

3回続くんですね

It's going to happen three times, isn't it?

どういう人の敵になるかというと

What kind of person will become your enemy?

私の言葉を盗み合う

Stealing each other's words.

預言者の敵

Enemy of the Prophet

またこれが見言葉だ

と勝手なことを言う

Saying something selfish.

預言者たちの敵

Enemies of the Prophets

偽りの嫁を

The false bride.

預言する者たちの敵となる

Becoming enemies of the prophets.

と言って

裁きを宣告する

To declare judgment.

主の宣告

The Lord's proclamation.

主の宣告っていうもんだから

偽予言者たちがですね

False prophets, you see.

またエレミア宣告とか言って

"Again, talking about Jeremiah's prophecy."

あの宣告とは何なんだ

でそういう人々に対してですね

神様はあなた方自身が重荷だ

God is a burden to yourself.

宣告っていう言葉と

The word "declaration" and

重荷っていう言葉は同じなんですね

The word "burden" is the same, isn't it?

あの別訳で23章33節の別訳を見てほしい

永遠の地獄というですね

教会がたまにあるんですよ

で残念ながら多くの人は断言されることを求める傾向があるんです

Unfortunately, many people have a tendency to seek definitive statements.

こう迷ってる時に

When I am lost like this

やこせないよって言われて

スーッとねわかった気持ちなんです

I feel a sense of clarity.

だけど聖書のどこにさ

あなたの仕事に関してこうしなす

まああの基本は書いてあるよ

But where should I live?

誰と結婚しようかなとか何も書いてはないんだよ

I haven't written anything about who I might marry or anything like that.

だからね聖書に忠実に語るっていうことは

So, to speak faithfully to the Bible means...

明確な返事が出ないってことなんだよ

It means that there is no clear answer.

ところがねあの迷う人に対して

However, you see, for those who are lost...

パシッと答えを与えるのがいいメッセージだって思ってる

I believe that giving a clear answer is a good message.

教会がたまにあるんですよ

Sometimes there are churches.

そういうところは主はこう言われる

In such matters, the Lord says this.

なんて勝手なこと言っちゃう

How selfish of you to say that.

知らないうちにね

Without realizing it, you know.

エレミアが非難している

Jeremiah is condemning.

偽予言者と同じことになるんだよって

It'll end up being the same as a false prophet.

でもそういうものを求めるのは

But seeking out those kinds of things is...

徴収の責任でもあるんです

そして24章

これが面白い24章ね

This is an interesting Chapter 24.

あのまず最初

バービロンのネブカトネサルが

ユダの公館たちをエルサレムに取り移した時のこと

紀元前597年の第二次バービロン報酬

The Second Babylonian Captivity of 597 BC.

バービロン報酬は3回に分けて行われるんです

The Babylon rewards will be distributed in three installments.

2回目は紀元前597年この時にですね

あの有名なエゼキエルさんが

バービロンに報酬とされるんですよ

エレミアにどういう美女を見せたか

二カゴの一軸の木があった

良いものであるとみなそう

報酬とされた民の心を変えるという意味で

In the sense of changing the hearts of the people regarded as rewards.

私は主であることを知るという心を彼らに与える

I will give them a heart that knows that I am the Lord.

彼らが主がわかるそのような心を与える

They are given such a heart that can understand the Lord.
