Nice to meet you.

TM Network is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

Congratulations!

Yes, thank you.

What does the 40th anniversary feel like to you personally?

For example, is it Alfee's 50th anniversary?

Those people have been doing it for a long time.

はい

Yes

It's the 50th anniversary.

We ended our relationship once every ten years.

Ah, I see.

Yes, and then sometimes there are years and years later.

It was just about gathering occasionally.

It's not that kind of close feeling.

So, is it more of a feeling that you notice without realizing it?

That's right.

But I have only lived for 27 years so far.

It's been 27 years, right?

It's the 40th anniversary, you know.

I don't really have any sense of how long a year feels.

So it feels like there have been various things happening for the 40th anniversary, huh?

That's right.

I've been doing my solo for about 31 years now.

If we're talking about richness, that one is richer.

Because it comes every year.

Thirty-one years over there.

This was actually during the time when TM Network was first formed.

I wonder how many years have passed since the 40th anniversary.

Did you imagine it would be 30 years?

That's why it ended once in ten years.

I just started soloing around that time.

It feels like I'm going to be doing this solo for a long time.

"After that, let's do it again."

What brings them together?

It seems like something happens each time.

For example, I don’t know about events like this.

I was told by Komuro that there is something like this, but what do you think?

I feel like we've done it several times in that way.

How is everyone doing?

How did you two celebrate your 40th anniversary?

I think it’s probably something similar.

Actually, the reason these three can work together is that they have similar personalities.

Well, it feels like it's okay to say you won't do anything then.

へー

Oh really?

What kind of personalities do you all have?

It doesn't feel hot.

あー

Ah-

Then the temperature feels similar.

It's really close.

It's not too high or too low, right?

So there are no fights or anything like that.

It's like, meeting again after a few years or something.

So when you suddenly go into a studio or somewhere and do this...

It feels like a normal "good morning."

Well, even if time passes, the relationship doesn't change.

うん

Yeah.

Is there a position like a leader, a straight man, or a funny guy?

Ah, there's nothing like that.

For now, I'm the leader, Komuro.

So regarding TM,

So, well, he might want to try something like this or something like that.

I think it's good for a commemoration.

Ah, so there's no fighting with you, huh?

It doesn't exist.

It's just a keepsake, you know.

If it was difficult.

I was seriously doing music at the time.

Umm, what does that feel like?

That guitar originally...

Especially electric guitars, for example.

They weren't really the type to be bouncy to begin with.

Basically, the support members will play.

Well, it was just a little off rhythm.

There was a live performance with just those three people this time.

At that time, I was being forced to play various things.

あー

Ah-

It's like I've never seen something so intense before.

It’s like, "Aren’t you doing music?"

Ah, so you're saying that it has been recently, huh?

そうです

That's right.

Well then, it's really the 40th anniversary, so let's celebrate it peacefully, or rather...

うん

Yeah.

There aren't any big waves like that.

Yeah, that's right.

Ah, so that's why it feels like it's been 40 years when I realize it.

うん

Yeah.

Well then, in order to continue with that.

That said, it's still amazing to have lasted for 40 years, celebrating the 40th anniversary.

Well, it's endless even within me.

うん

Yeah.

It feels a bit different, though.

What I have cherished in the midst of it all is...

Things I have been conscious of.

What was important for continuing?

I wonder what it is.

Well, of course, that one person or something.

It's fine with those three already.

It's more like not being pushy.

Well, it seems that the fans are quite...

It's also a big deal that you were there for me.

It's the biggest, or rather...

It's the largest.

うん

Yeah.

So how can we make it fun?

It's about how I can entertain that customer while also enjoying myself.

That's been my motivation all along.

Always yes

So in the case of TM, I'm wondering how I can make them surprised.

Is that how it is?

The part about being an acoustic guitar in middle school

はい

Yes

Was this in the profile?

I heard it, but did that music resonate with you from the start?

Or was there something else you wanted to do?

Well, I've really loved music since elementary school.

Ah, so it's both an instrument and a song?

I really love listening to things.

Like Western music and Japanese music, that kind of thing.

I like listening to things like this on the radio.

へー

Wow.

On the other hand, I also like actors.

Oh yes!

Yes, I think this profession is kind of cool.

At that time, Nikkatsu had a lot of those kinds of stars.

Movie star

I thought it was really cool during that time.

I wonder if I can’t become an actor or something.

おー

Oh!

Just once.

Is it when I graduated from high school?

There's that theater company, isn't there?

Children like that can also join.

I have applied for that.

Oh, is that so?

はい

Yes

それで

So.

はい

Yes

I passed with photos and documents.

はい

Yes.

I thought that you could pass just like that.

So when I looked at the amount...

It was pretty expensive for the amount at that time.

That new one.

Form a new group.

For the purpose of forming a new group.

Haa~

That's not what we say.

You can't enter without paying.

I couldn't get in, could I?

So I think it was a lot of money.

It was incredible to say hundreds of thousands back then.

Well, if that doesn't cost any money...

If I had joined the theater company...

Current team network

ない

None

But that Kine was also in high school with me.

Then

I knew that Kine started that music in middle school.

During the high school cultural festival, I hit it off with a boy from my class, and we performed together at the festival with a folk guitar.

はい

Yes.

Then Kine, who was watching that, said...

はい

Yes

It feels like they are doing it that way.

So that's why I was invited here, right?

はい

Yes

Adorable elegance.

はい

Yes

Then it felt like we should do something together.

It's amazing to be able to hear about the time of their formation again.

うんね

Yeah.

It's not so much precious as...

But from there, it's the 40th anniversary.

With the times.

うん

Yeah.

I think the culture of music has changed significantly.

How it changed in relation to that, or whether it didn't change at all.

音とか

Sound, etc.

うん

Yeah.

It’s impressive that Komuro is the most sensitive to ideas like that, as he has always been thinking and doing a lot of different things.

It feels like I was completely at ease about that.

Has the change in this music culture felt fast? For those who have been active in it for 40 years, what has been your impression of how it has evolved?

Somehow that TM.

Since my debut, I've been thinking about various things and doing them.

It feels like it has finally caught up a bit.

Oh, the times!

That's why we've also made live videos without an audience for streaming.

That's nearly 40 years ago now.

So, including all of that, it feels like I finally made it here.

へー

Oh really?

Well, that's something to anticipate.

I don't know unless I ask the person themselves.

I don't think it's something I've anticipated.

I think it would be amazing if you had anticipated that.

That's amazing! So it feels like you're adapting to it now?

How do you feel the fans are perceiving the 40th anniversary? Do you feel it in your experience?

Surprisingly, there were quite a lot of people.

多分その

Maybe that.

It feels like there were a lot of people who are fans of demo recordings.

There are probably many dedicated fans, of course.

Other people.

Also, people in the industry, etc.

It feels like there's an echo.

During that 40th anniversary, we went to various places including the regions.

When you go to that region, and listen to the local songs…

The welcome was amazing.

That's why people of this age group are fans.

I think I've heard something that was a bit close to visual kei.

In the early days of that.

So it feels like everyone is really a fan, you know?

It seems that there were a lot of people who didn't speak much.

I heard about it later.

A time when that band was selling a lot.

その時に

At that time.

I was there at that time, but it wasn't a band.

It seems like it was quite hard to say that you liked me.

Well, the reactions from fans have also changed over time.

But it's like we're growing together.

It feels like we're building memories together, doesn't it?

With the fans.

What kind of feeling is that?

Well, it's clearly nothing but happiness.

That's so嬉しい.

Why are there so many of them?

You won't know until you actually open the lid.

Of course, tickets will be on sale before that.

"Are tickets really selling that well?"

Is that how it feels?

It's not really a feeling that it will sell.

For example, the new song is selling really well.

In that case, the audience will naturally gather, right?

I haven't really released that many new songs anyway.

This time, I submitted it.

I put it out, but...

But just that alone won't bring in that many people.

So maybe everyone wants to listen to Get Wild or something.

I want to listen to Self Control and so on.

There are other songs too, but...

There are so many people like that.

You are surprised by that, aren't you?

Even after being done for 40 years.

What I mean by "vocal" is...

Age plays a significant role.

Because it's a part-time job.

I had hoped that a song reflecting my current age would be made.

Lately, my throat's condition seems to be...

It feels like I'm going back to a relatively early voice.

I have excerpted and introduced a portion from Mr. Sumiyagi's interview article.

I am returning to this early voice.

It is close to.

近い

Close

What does that mean?

What is your personal feeling about it?

What is going back to the early voice like?

What is that voice?

A relatively bright voice.

It's about how to use your voice.

That's starting to change a little.

Sensory of the throat

I have a sense of it.

When it became like that,

It just sold out.

Get Welded

Come here all the time.

A long time has passed.

40th anniversary or something like that.

Just a little more.

Since a few years ago.

The voice singing solo.

I thought you looked a bit younger.

What is it?

Why is that?

It's some amazing training.

I have never trained.

Haven't you ever done that?

So do you have some kind of routine?

Since finding my routine

I feel relieved.

How long ago did you find it?

I wonder if it's been over 10 years.

But about 10 years ago.

うん

Yeah.

Recently, there have been various interviews due to the 40th anniversary.

I get asked this a lot, but...

Is that so?

I keep saying this every time, but...

The tour has become the main focus.

Tours are really tiring, aren't they?

It was before the end.

It's a "dar".

Playing until morning or something like that.

Waking up around noon and going out to eat somewhere.

It felt really constricting to do things like that.

That itself

That is the body.

My body probably.

Of course, I think it's the same with the throat.

Think of a routine.

I usually wake up around noon.

To isolate oneself in a hotel room.

Have you stopped going out to play?

I stopped going.

それで

So, then.

"Could you bring me things like a bath or food?"

So I guess we’ll spend 2 or 3 hours there slowly.

Relaxed, I entered the venue and did the rehearsal.

"Then let's do the real thing."

After it's over, we’re going to eat dinner together.

I don't know if it's around 9 o'clock or before 9 o'clock.

"I only went a little late at night."

うん

Yeah.

I feel like I might just go home.

I am doing that at home right now.

That's the routine.

Everyday life is like that too.

If I make my life feel close to that every day, it becomes a lot easier.

Well, it seems that a regular lifestyle is important.

Well, I don't know if the schedule is regular or not.

It's often said.

Is that so?

Basically, you all wake up by looking at your bodies, right?

Well, I'm already quite skilled at various positions, so I wake up later.

Is it true?

Ever since it became that kind of routine, it feels really...

My throat feels good too.

Like alcohol, etc.?

Yes, I will drink (it).

Oh, right.

But I often end up not being able to speak very well.

Are there times like that?

Of course, I'm singing that song with all my might during the live performance.

That's right, isn't it?

So, I was really tired on the first day.

It feels like I've already arrived.

But just drink it anyway.

Drink without using such a loud voice.

alcohol

はい

Yes.

So the next day, as I mentioned earlier, I took my time and spent it at the hotel.

Gradually get into the bath and try to make a little noise.

It feels like we can do it!

So it will be the second day or something like that.

It seems to be mostly okay now.

Well, I guess I've been strengthened through the concerts on the tour.

That strength definitely exists, no doubt about it.

That's right.

It’s probably because my voice is hoarse.

It's relatively hard on my throat, so it ends up getting strained.

But that might be the case.

If you try to forcefully shout out loudly during a performance...

It will become chili.

That's right.

If that's not the case, then you really need to...

It’s just a bit from the stomach, isn’t it?

That's right.

By the way, I'm curious if you spend time at the hotel reading something leisurely.

What are you doing?

I'm watching TV.

Really slowly.

Slowly

Variety shows, too.

I love watching TV.

I see.

The TV is always on in my room.

I've been here on the sofa, lounging around.

えー

Ehh?

Well, it’s quite common to go out for drinks with everyone or with close friends.

If there was nothing, I'd be doing various things in the room.

Well, of course, I watch variety shows and dramas too.

If there’s a foreign TV show you like, you might binge-watch it all at once.

えー

Uh...

I see.

Popular overseas dramas often have about ten or more episodes, don't they?

It exists, doesn't it?

Eighteen or so.

You can see it in just three days, right?

It's more like I can see it, or I end up seeing it.

If not, it won't stop.

次もう

Next, please.

I can't help but be concerned.

You don't know where to end, do you?

Isn't it bad? Your life will become irregular.

No, but it's okay there.

Can you really finish it there?

終われます

I can finish it.

I also learned about your amazingly playful side.

Thank you.

My foundation is still how I can express myself within this sound.

I have only thought about that.

I think that voice is one of the elements of rhythm.

I've been aiming for the clarity of the lyrics.

If you get too emotionally involved, it can affect your own voice a bit.

I feel like our personalities don't match.

We have provided an excerpt from Mr. Utsunomiya's interview article.

この歌

This song

うん

Yeah.

It's about the way the vocals of this song exist within the music.

"This voice being one of the rhythms is really just amateur."

It's still a bit difficult, but...

It's difficult, isn't it?

Could you please tell me a little bit?

What should I say?

That one piece of music.

In one song

Group of

Group of

Betwi many

Betwi many

For those girls

For those girls

So many

So many.

ходит

It seems that "ходит" is not Japanese; it is actually Russian, meaning "walks." If you have a specific Japanese text you'd like translated, please provide it!

it's because of that

Because I think and sing.

I wonder how I can fit in well.

Well, it's not exactly brain training, but…

Considering various elements.

So this instrument's

For example, this instrument...

For example, let's say it's a guitar.

It's okay to use a base too.

This song is relatively close to this guitar.

That rhythm.

Because sometimes you need something like that.

It depends on the piece of music.

Where to focus will also change.

I'm thinking of matching it to this base.

But the rhythm is basically the same for everyone.

It's the same, but...

Within this one beat

いるので

Because I am here.

In the midst of the sound of clapping.

Well then, take your time and let it sink in.

Yes, there is a yes.

Where is the best place to put it?

It sounds pleasant.

To come in

I wonder how it will be for the person listening.

It feels like I'm listening to a discussion about neuroscience.

Probably the most common ones are 8-beat and 16-beat.

It's quite common to record at 16.

Especially regarding TM.

うん

Yeah.

It's the first time with the song "Kiss."

When I recorded it

It had a bit of a rap vibe.

I had never heard of rap before.

Just in case, I'm with the director.

I heard something like this, something like this.

"Oh, so this is what it feels like."

So it was really difficult at first.

Well, I can sing fairly easily now.

Which instrument is this referring to?

Where is it located?

Where should I focus?

This is the sound of that keyboard-type sound.

I think the original sound that was in there is playing now.

It comes in a little from the back there.

This thing I just mentioned.

It's amazing because it's very close to the number one place.

Yes, yes.

It's not that it's off, but...

They're really right behind you now.

If you break it down, it's behind you, isn't it?

そう

Yes.

はい

Yes

,

,

はい

Yes

You have time to try that once, don't you?

That's right.

はい

Yes.

すごい

Amazing.

Thank you.

It was mentioned in the interview, but...

I wonder if there's a point where too much empathy makes it hard to sing.

Singing

Empathy has already gone somewhere else.

For now, I'm just wondering how I should sing this.

How do you create that rhythm?

It's more about whether to tackle it or not.

My mind is full of things like that.

うーん

Hmm.

I don't really have that feeling about it.

Even so, at first, it probably won't be similar, right?

"That intricate rhythm and the incorporation of emotion."

So how was that option decided?

Whether one is making that kind of music or not is indeed...

Because we have created it as one music.

So that voice is also a part of it.

It's more like part of the instrument.

Part of a musical instrument.

うん

Yeah.

But doesn't the rhythm go off during live performances?

I don't understand it anymore.

I don't even know what anything is anymore.

Well, there’s almost nothing, though.

Basically, they call that a hit.

I'm going to play the sound that is already on the computer.

If you use that drum student's drum...

There are times when it gets a little off, you know.

Hmm, that's right.

Yes, it can't be helped, or rather...

Well, does that convey the live feeling of the performance?

That's right.

I will sing as close to the drums as possible at that time.

Oh, why is that?

For the audience listening outside

The drums are really big, so their presence is quite significant.

So, we have to relatively match with the drums.

We listen to it using things like headphones here.

Well, everyone over there is listening to the speaker, right?

That's right.

In that case, what’s important is when the drums are included.

"I have to prioritize not singing for the drummer."

So I think there are probably some dramas that you're not good at either.

The sense of tempo differs depending on the drama.

If you're someone who's relatively close to a click, it's really easy to sing.

Oh, I see.

It's a bit difficult for someone who has their own rhythm, I suppose.

Well then, about that...

Differences in singing style there.

Change the way you sing.

Singability

Well, it's about singability.

Also, how the audience perceives it can change.

That's right.

Hearing it from that audio source and hearing it in that place.

Wow, amazing!

Is that something you can acquire just by realizing it?

Well, if an amateur wants to sing like Utsunomiya-san...

What kind of tips are there?

There are no tips.

Well, that's true, but how should I put it...?

Recently, Komuro has been saying a lot.

It's like saying that my sense of rhythm in music is incredible.

Since my motor skills were quite good, that normal motor skill as well...

I see.

I liked it, and I'm not sure if it's related to that or not.

It seems like you can just do it pretty easily if you go for it.

I like things like that or I like things like that.

I like that kind of thing.

It's different from perfect pitch.

That's not correct.

There are people who have perfect pitch but are tone-deaf, right?

Being tone-deaf means a person who can't sing properly with their own voice.

You actually understand it yourself, don't you?

Ah, you're off.

It's different, but that sound won't come out.

I think there might be times when it doesn't come out.

Well, that's where Utsunomiya-san's sense of rhythm comes in.

It's about the motor skills of how to position your throat there.

"What's good about it is that..."

Well, it's not that easy for an amateur to sing.

It must be difficult, right?

Yeah, but that's cool!

The live performance is that.

You've all been listening to the recordings, haven't you?

On a record.

It feels like we're putting in a lot of effort into how we can reproduce it.

Well, rather than the songs of the moment…

How faithfully

That's right.

That's quite difficult as well.

Isn't it difficult?

It's difficult.

And I see you've also been doing musicals.

やりました

I did it.

How did you change the way you sang at that time?

It's not so much that I changed, but it was really tough during the musical.

Actually, I can't read musical notes.

Eh?

I couldn't read the musical notes.

Can you read that now?

I don't know why, but right now...

Is that so?

So the musical is not about musical notes?

It's the first time I'm hearing this.

So listen carefully to the people who understand that note.

It feels like this.

By ear.

Oh, is that so?

At the time, there were two main actors in a double cast.

The man in question was someone who could read that kind of sheet music.

It was really easy.

I listened to that person singing and memorized it by ear.

Go ahead and practice first.

Usually, I practice on the piano first.

At that time, I told you to go ahead and do it.

I hear that and think, "Yeah, something like that."

But if you go home and forget that melody, then...

The melody is fine.

すごい

Amazing.

So, you’re not using sheet music when you play solo either?

I haven't done it.

どう

How?

It will come on a demo tape.

In Komuro's voice.

Still, wouldn't it be faster to be able to read sheet music earlier?

I think so too.

It's different.

When the servant’s voice conveys the melody,

Because it can be converted into my own voice.

So it's fine if it's a piano or guitar.

That's why I don't feel a connection when I listen to the melody.

って

"That" or "You know" (context-dependent)

というか

By the way

It's okay if I'm not good at it.

It's just that it's easier for me to transform my voice into a human voice.

Well, then, it's been that way since a long time ago.

It's been like that since long ago.

Was there a difference in how you used or produced your voice?

Solo and musical.

That's how it was.

It's just that the way I'm putting it out when I'm doing really ordinary music doesn't reach people.

前に

Before

Musical or something like a musical.

Also, it might be the location of the microphone or something like that.

That's right, Mike is the same.

So, if I don't sing relatively loudly, it won't reach, you know?

I pushed myself pretty hard at that time and of course, I ended up running out of energy.

I definitely experienced moments of being drained.

I see.

The way I use my throat is still a bit different, after all.

By experiencing that again.

It became easier to sing during the activities in this team network.

Was that something that happened as well?

That's not the case, though.

For now, when I did a musical called "Rent" once,

I don’t want to do something so difficult anymore.

With the determination that I will never do it again.

That alone really shows that singing the same song is completely different.

That's right.

Those are definitely professional musical performers.

Because we cannot compete with them.

I hope that kind of person will do their best.

I just wonder why we decided to try that.

Relatively, there were many songs in the "Rent" that leaned towards music.

It's a musical, but it was relatively close to music.

A musical with high musicality.

It's that kind of feeling, so...

I'm singing out loud, just in case.

But I was able to express my own atmosphere as well.

In that sense, let's give it a try then.

I think I'll give it a try.

One more time, then rent.

I won't do it.

I know it's tough.

Indeed, it's precisely because you've experienced it once more.

I wonder why I have to move so much.

I also have to do some cleaning.

Inside the antenna

Bringing a chair here inside the antenna or something.

Everything is too detailed.

My head is just about to burst.

That's so tough.

But that's where those kinds of experiences come into play, isn't it?

"But I hear you have also experienced that illness."

Has your approach to this song changed in that regard?

At first, I thought I might die.

In the end, it was okay.

I didn't think about it that much before.

人と

With people

Dating or something like that.

It's about my past self.

"Somehow, more than that"

The feeling of being alive.

It's more like I've become stronger.

It's a precious thing that we're alive right now.

It feels like it's really coming out.

Regarding that, this...

To this place called Team Network.

I have become stronger in places that feel like thoughts.

I have become stronger.

I feel like I need to live more properly.

I see.

最後に

Finally

How do you feel about recent music?

I’m not listening.

Only when I'm moving, inside the car.

I only know that this kind of song is trending now.

So, the artist I'm currently interested in is...

いないです

Not present.

I can at most understand someone like Ad.

Hey, it's about time, right?

I understand that too.

Do you listen to Western music?

Western music is coming through on the radio, isn't it?

Well then, that's definitely...

In continuing to pursue your own music.

I guess that might have been a good thing.

That's right.

Since I've started doing that solo...

In the case of TM, Komuro does everything.

I'll have you do it while considering the general idea.

Solo means being alone, doesn't it?

So I can do it by myself.

I have to consider everything.

それで

So, then.

By the way.

ここの

Here.

I took a picture of this, didn't I?

A photo of it taken with a mobile phone.

Dig it up.

I think this is nice.

That was the costume or something.

To be more precise

It will change into something like that.

It will change.

It feels like things are changing.

So I'm looking at various things.

I see.

Rather than from the current music, from various elements.

Connect it to music.

That's right.

So, as a foundation, let's not waver.

The part where it continues.

It might be there as well.

What is it that Mr. Utsunomiya always does like this?

It's like I'm receiving energy or power.

Ah

えっと

Um...

Sports

I wonder if it's the best.

だから

So.

Things like the Olympics.

I want to see all the different types as much as possible.

Well, rather than calling it a sport...

何でも

Anything

That's why there's also the world tournament, right?

In various competitions.

Like the World Cup.

I like that kind of person too.

It gives me a lot of energy.

People like those sportsmen

いやー

No way!

わかります

I understand.

I love you.

That's right.

That's right.

意外

Unexpected

Like I was fired up playing volleyball.

Well, the Paris Olympics too...

Try your best.

I've been a bit busy with various things.

はい

Yes

Usually, I'd be more deeply immersed in it.

はい

Yes

And

This is the rule of the competition.

Things I don't look at much.

うん

Yeah.

That's fun too.

ルール

Rules

Even if a Japanese person is not present.

はい

Yes

Ah

It's like this is the rule.

I heard it's just that kind of rule.

It's fun.

Knowing the rules that enhance the experience makes it even more enjoyable.

That's right.

If you don't understand the rules...

I don't really understand rugby and such in the end.

Why is it bad if I drop this earlier?

It sometimes comes down.

Eh, what is this?

It's overwhelming, isn't it?

That's right.

As I continued to look at it,

Oh, it's an interesting competition, isn't it?

It's sports, isn't it?

Sports

I think sports are the best.

Of course, there are others.

For example, going to see a play.

I went to see a musical and stuff like that.

Things like that really give me a lot of strength, too.

Sports are the best.

But by singing this yourself

I think there is also the aspect of it being a job, of course.

It's about singing yourself.

It's like it's becoming energy or something.

It feels like I'm releasing something.

What kind of feeling is it?

I'm not expressing it.

Is that so?

うん

Yeah.

Rather than dissipation

Wow, I'm so exhausted.

This is where the setlist comes out.

So it's decided to be around ten songs, right?

"I definitely can't do this here."

Well, in the second half, this is...

"I can't do this with just two songs."

I can understand that much.

はい

Yes.

No, this is a bit...

Let's talk.

リアル

Real

While thinking about such things

I knew it, I'm like this.

Only from the perspective of the audience/viewers.

I've never seen it before.

It really looks enjoyable.

Singing in the middle of that stage...

I think that...

Does it feel good?

I feel good when I'm not tired.

今後

From now on

As TM Network as well

As a solo artist as well.

How do you envision the future?

That's really, um...

If asked around the age of 40 or 50

I feel like I can say something, but...

I'm turning 67 soon.

I believe age has a significant influence.

I'm only thinking about what's right in front of me.

What’s right in front of us is already a year later.

1年後

One year later.

Wow, a year really feels long.

It's not until about six months.

So I will keep updating it continuously.

In six months.

うん

Yeah.

Well, as for next spring,

I don't understand at all.

I see.

By the way, for Mr. Utsunomiya...

What does the existence of TM Network mean?

What kind of existence is it?

Well, um...

I think I mentioned it at the beginning.

割と

relatively

中の

Inside

It feels like we're comrades.

Since we're just good friends, we can do it again.

It's a feeling that's close to that.

"Well, something like family..."

It's strange when it comes to family, isn't it?

Is that so?

But there is also a feeling of absolute安心感 that comes with it.

That's right.

More than friends.

It's more than just friends.

Then that bond will last a lifetime.

I think it will continue as long as no one dies.

Well then, here's to the 50th anniversary as well.

I get asked that a lot.

After all, it's for the 40th anniversary or something.

That's right.

They ask how many years it's been.

I say it every time.

Well, we really don't care about anniversaries like that.

When you reach that age...

I'm under a lot of pressure right now.

So you do it when you can.

I'm expressing it that way.

うん

Yeah.

Gather when we can, when we are able to.

It feels like let's have fun with it.

It feels more like it's about something other than just decades or anniversaries.

It is precisely because of that mindset.

It's remarkable that it has continued for 40 years.

It might exist.
