これまで皆さんと一人ずつそれぞれのテーマについてお話ししてきましたけれども

発見や気づきについてご紹介したいと思います

1つ目が本質への投資こそが価値を生み出す

The first point is that investing in essence creates value.

2つ目がセクショナリズムからの脱却が鍵に

The second point is that breaking away from sectionalism is key.

3つ目があらゆるものをつなぐべく多様性を許容する

The third one is to allow diversity in order to connect everything.

この3つです

まず本質への投資こそが価値を生み出すという

First, it is the investment in essence that creates value.

1つ目のところに入っていきたいんですけれども

I want to enter the first place.

企業は今目先の費用対効果

Companies are now focused on immediate cost-effectiveness.

こういったものにとらわれずに

Without being caught up in such things.

自社の本質で我々コアコンピタンスとか呼んでますけれども

We refer to our company's essence as core competence.

これを見極めた上で

Based on this assessment

積極的に投資を進めていく必要があると思っています

やっぱ本質って言うとサステナビリティだろうと

僕思ってるんですけど

我々のビジネス

Our business

当然我々ビジネスやってるわけですけど

Of course, we are in business.

当然自然があってその上に人々がいられる社会があって

Of course, there is nature, and on top of that, there is a society where people can exist.

ビジネス活動をやってるわけですから

Because we are engaged in business activities.

それを考慮せずして

Without taking that into consideration.

いられるわけではないと

It doesn't mean that I can be there.

当然いろんな自然差異があったら

Of course, there were various natural differences.

本当にビジネス止まっちゃうよねっていう

It really feels like the business is going to come to a halt, doesn't it?

これ絶対本質に影響を受けると思うんですよね

I really think this will definitely have an impact on the essence.

ただ私サステナビリティのビジネス

Just my sustainability business.

IBMで推進してますけど

We're promoting it at IBM.

なかなか進んでなくて

It's not progressing very well.

守り 要は例えば規制対応のレポーティングみたいな感じのものが

Protection, for example, is something like regulatory compliance reporting.

結構やっぱり多いんですよね

It's quite a lot, isn't it?

なかなかやっぱり投資対効果で皆さんがやる

It seems that everyone is indeed motivated by the return on investment.

これは事実としています

This is considered a fact.

もう一つ一方ですね

That's one more side, isn't it?

別の目線で言うと

From a different perspective,

皆さんご存知かもしれませんけど

You may already know, but...

東証のPBR

Tokyo Stock Exchange PBR

PBR一割れ問題ってありまして

There is an issue with PBR dropping below one.

要は株価が低いってやつですね

In short, it's the case that the stock price is low.

これ株価って将来価値も反映してるので

The stock price reflects future value as well.

ある意味そういった会社って

In a way, companies like that...

将来に向けた取り組みをしてないんじゃないかって

Aren't you not working towards the future?

判断されてるっていうことだと思うんですね

I think it means that we are being judged.

一方PBRが高い企業って

On the other hand, what about companies with high PBR?

例えばテスラさんみたいな感じで

For example, like Mr. Tesla.

すごく将来を見た

I saw a very clear future.

サステナビリティやってる会社さんが多いという意味で

This means that there are many companies that are engaged in sustainability.

企業ってそういうのすごく問われてるんじゃないかなって

I think companies are being really questioned about that.

僕思ってるんですよね

I'm thinking about it.

なんかやっぱり

やっぱりその海外の中だと

After all, within that overseas context...

特に早いところはですね

Especially the fast places, you know.

ユニリーバさんとか

Like Unilever.

あの辺が結構有名かなと思いますけど

I think that area is quite famous.

サスティナブルリビングプランとかですね

Sustainable living plan, for example.

当時結構先進的な事業計画として発表されましたけれども

At that time, it was announced as quite an advanced business plan.

単に事業成長するっていうだけじゃなくて

It's not just about simply growing the business.

SDGs自体を

The SDGs themselves

日本で言うとこのSDGs自体を

Speaking of which, the SDGs themselves in Japan...

もう経営計画に組み込んでいくみたいな

It seems like we're going to incorporate it into the business plan.

なかなかやっぱり日本でこういう事業計画って見ないですよね

You really don't see business plans like this in Japan.

そうですね

That's right.

やっぱり先ほど

As I thought earlier

コーティング対応って多いと

There are many options for coating support.

すごく日本の真面目な気質さも出てしまって

It also reveals a very serious aspect of the Japanese temperament.

求められてからこれに応えますみたいなものが多いですけど

There are many things that seem to respond only after being asked for.

そういう投資家に向けた報告のページ見ると

When I look at the report page aimed at such investors,

みんな同じようなフォーマットなんですね

Everyone has a similar format, don't they?

なるほど

I see.

事業戦略とかビジネス違うんだから

Business strategy and business are different, you know.

違う形にならなきゃいけないのに

It has to take a different form.

同じようなレポートが出てくる

Similar reports keep coming out.

なんかちょっとおかしいですよね

It's a bit strange, isn't it?

だからそこにやっぱりストーリーがないよねって話は

So, the story really isn't there, right?

まあ課題かなと思ってますね

Well, I think it's a challenge.

本質に投資するっていう意味で

In the sense of investing in essentials.

今回サスティナビリティーで

This time with sustainability.

それからあと空間コンピューティングとか

After that, space computing or something like that.

正直全部に共通する内容かなとは思うんですけども

To be honest, I think it's something that applies to everything in common.

ここのなんで本質に投資できないんだっけみたいなところは

"Isn't it strange that we can't invest in the essence of things here?"

深掘りたいんですけど

I want to dig deeper.

その前にちょっと空間コンピューティングの方の

Before that, let's talk a bit about spatial computing.

やっぱ本質に投資するの

本質を見極めるためにも

In order to discern the essence.

ある程度の投資が必要なんじゃないかなと思っていて

I think a certain amount of investment is必要.

それをやっぱり本質を見極めてからでなければ

You have to determine the essence of it first after all.

投資できないっていう風にしてしまうと

If you say that you can't invest...

ここで無限ループに落ちちゃうんじゃないのかなと思うんですよ

特に空間コンピューティングなんて

Especially spatial computing.

正直私もこの1年やってみて

To be honest, I’ve tried it this past year too.

心の底から思いますけど

I genuinely believe that from the bottom of my heart.

やってみなきゃ分かんないんですよ

You won't know until you try.

体験して初めて

Only after experiencing it.

これが自分たちの企業にどういう価値をもたらすのか

What value this brings to our company.

っていうディスカッションの土台ができて

A foundation for that discussion has been established.

そこからサービスのアイデアとかに発展していくのに

From there, it develops into ideas for services and such.

費用対効果を先に持ち出されて

Bringing up cost-effectiveness first.

これをやったことでどれだけ企業に効果があるのか

How much impact this has on companies.

先に問われてしまうと

If asked beforehand

そこでスタックしてしまって進まない

I'm stuck here and can't move forward.

体験ができないから新しいアイデアも出てこなくて

Because I can't have any experiences, new ideas don't come to me.

そうするとそこをシュリンクしてしまう

If you do that, it will shrink there.

せっかくPOCをやってもそこで止まってしまったりとか

Even if we go through the POC, it might just stop there.

やっぱそこは本質を見極めるためにも

After all, that's for the purpose of discerning the essence.

ある程度の投資は必要なのであると

Some level of investment is necessary.

この空間コンピューティングだけじゃないと思いますけど

I don't think it's only about spatial computing.

先進テクノロジーってスキルを獲得するのにも

Advanced technology is also for acquiring skills.

それなりに時間がかかりますし

It takes a considerable amount of time.

どんどんこの1年でも

Little by little, over this past year...

新しいサービスは生まれてそして消えていく中で

As new services are born and then disappear.

自分たちの企業のコアコンピテンスに対して

Regarding our company's core competencies.

何をやるべきかっていうのは

What I should do is…

模索し続けていかないと

We need to keep searching.

タイミングをしてしまうんじゃないかなというふうに感じています

I feel like it might be a matter of timing.

トライアンドエラー

Trial and error.

ITにおけるトライアンドエラーって

Trial and error in IT

どうしても日本の企業って苦手な印象がすごくあるんですけど

I really have a strong impression that Japanese companies are quite difficult to deal with.

ただそこを考えてみると

If you think about it there.

本来ものづくりにおけるトライアンドエラーって

In manufacturing, trial and error is originally about...

日本人大得意な領域なので

It's an area where Japanese people excel.

なんでITになるとあんまり得意じゃなくなっちゃうのかなっていう

I wonder why I don't become very good at it when it comes to IT.

ちょっと思いはありますよね

You have a certain feeling about it, right?

そうですね改善のサイクルですよね

That's right, it's a cycle of improvement.

日本人がこれまでやってきた

What the Japanese have done so far.

巧みの技をどんどん突き詰めていって改善していくっていう

It's about continuously honing skills and making improvements.

これをITにもうまく活かして

Make good use of this in IT as well.

新たな価値というか研ぎ澄ませていくっていうのができたら

If we could refine and create new value.

本当に世界に先駆けた新しい体験とか

A truly groundbreaking new experience in the world.

新しいことができるんじゃないのかなと思いますけどね

I think we might be able to do something new.

なんかでもそのテーマになると急にあれですよね

Well, when it comes to that theme, it's suddenly like, you know...

あらゆるもののデジタル化ともう全く同じテーマになってきますね

It becomes exactly the same theme as the digitalization of everything.

杉浦さんどうですか

How is Mr. Sugiura?

そうですね今ちょっと考えてたんですけども

Well, I was just thinking about it.

やっぱりこれまでものづくりをしてきた人たちの

After all, it's the people who have been involved in manufacturing up until now.

ものすごく真面目な姿勢が

A tremendously serious attitude.

自分たちとITは違うんだみたいな

It's like saying we are different from IT.

線引きになってしまっているっていうのもあるのかなと

I wonder if it has become a matter of drawing the line.

次のセクセルズの話にもちょっと伺っていくんですけど

I'm going to ask about the next story regarding the Sex Cells as well.

そういうところでまだまだちょっと

I'm still a bit lacking in that regard.

気持ちの切り替えであったりとか

It’s about switching feelings or changing one's mindset.

考え方の切り替えっていうのができてないんだろうなっていうのは思います

I think they haven't been able to switch their way of thinking.

なるほどね

I see.

なんかいろんな規制とかルールが複雑になりすぎたっていうのも

It seems that various regulations and rules have become overly complicated.

あるのかなと思ってますけど

I wonder if there is.

日本人でルール決められるとルールの中でしか動けなくなっちゃうんで

When Japanese people set rules, we can only act within those rules.

なんかもうちょっとオープンにルールのない中でやれるような

I want to be able to do things in a more open way without strict rules.

サンドボックスのような環境でっていうのを

In an environment like a sandbox.

企業の中でも特に大企業はある一定量は作っていった方がいいのかなと

I think that large corporations, in particular, should produce a certain amount.

個人的には思います

Personally, I think.

そういう場がやっぱり提供して

ただこう大企業の中で共通認識にしていくことが

It is simply about establishing a common understanding within large corporations.

結構至難の技なんですよね

It's quite a difficult skill, isn't it?

我々もそこを共通化するために

We also want to standardize that.

映像化サービスとかいろいろなものを

Various things like video services.

最近は始めてますけれども

Recently, I've been starting.

なかなかこの自分の会社の未来って

It's quite difficult to envision the future of my company.

やっぱり満タン位の社員がいる会社だと

After all, in a company where there are employees who are almost at full capacity...

みんな見てる景色が

The scenery everyone is looking at.

バックキャストする未来が違ったりするんで

The future you backcast may be different.

そこは結構難しいなって個人的には思ってます

I personally think that's pretty difficult.

じゃあ2つ目のテーマに行きたいと思います

セクショナリズムからの脱却が鍵

Breaking away from sectarianism is the key.

これはそうですよね

This is true, isn't it?

日本企業においてこの

In Japanese companies, this

セクショナリズムって言うとあれですけど

When you say "sectionalism," that's what it is.

昔は事業部制の弊害とかよく言ってますけど

In the past, people often talked about the drawbacks of the divisional system.

組織の壁とか

Organizational walls, etc.

そうですね組織の壁事業部制

That's right, the organizational barriers and divisional system.

一時期は事業部制が悪い悪いって言われたことがあって

There was a time when it was said that the divisional system was bad.

事業部制から脱却をしたんですけど

We have moved away from the divisional system.

またどんどん戻っていってますから

I'm going back more and more.

なかなか難しい

やっぱり一旦そこから外れて

その外からマーケットが何を求めてるのか

顧客が何を求めてるのかっていうところから

Starting from what the customer is seeking.

提供すべきケーパビリティであって

体験っていうのをきちんと設計していかないといけない

そうするとそこには部門を超えた

何か繋がりである

トータルの体験だったりっていうのが

そういう発想がすごく重要になってきてるのかな
