アブラハムがダイヤモンドになるために

マグマによってダイヤモンドが一気に地上に押し上げられる

そういうことがなければダイヤモンドにならないように

この場面で

アブラハムを大きな大きな最後の試練に合わせる

To subject Abraham to a great, great final trial.

そのことによって

祝福を受けるという約束が成就する

この人間を罪から救う救いの計画なわけです

それのプロジェクトの最初の始まりが

The beginning of that project's start.

いわばアブラハム契約だというような表現をしております

アブラハムは手を伸ばし刀を取って自分の子をほふろうとした

その時主の使いが天から彼を呼び

At that time, an angel of the Lord called to him from heaven.

アブラハムアブラハムと仰せられた

He said, "Abraham, Abraham."

あなたの手をその子のその子に負けた

その子に下してはならない

Now I understand well that you fear God.

あなたは自分の子

You are your own child.

自分の一人子さえ惜しまないで私に捧げた

"I devoted even my only child, without any hesitation."

アブラハムが目を上げてみると

When Abraham looked up

見よ

Behold.

角を矢部に引っ掛けている一頭のお羊がいた

There was a sheep that got its horn caught on a branch.

アブラハムは行ってそのお羊をとり

Abraham went and took the ram.

それを自分の子の代わりに全生の生贄として捧げた

They offered it as a sacrifice of a lifetime in place of their own child.

そしてアブラハムはその場所をアドナイイルエと名付けた

And Abraham named that place Adonai-Yireh.

今日でも主の山の上には備えがあると言い伝えられている

It is said that even today there is a provision on the mountain of the Lord.

今日のお話のポイントはこの2つです

イエスの死と復活の方を

今読んでいただいたこのアブラハムが自分の独り子を捧げるというのは

やがて来るべきそのメシアの死と復活を象徴する型になっているんだ

神様一人ご捧げたってひどいよね

父なる神が子なる神を無理やり犠牲にしたのではない

The Father God did not force the Son God to become a sacrifice.

これは子なる神イエスキリストが

This is the Son God, Jesus Christ.

それに同意し合意し

Agree to that.

父と相談の上で

After consulting with my father.

こうやって人間を救おうということを

This is how we intend to save humanity.

決められているということがここから分かるわけです

This tells us that it has been decided.

つまり誰の意思でかというと

父の意思でありそして子の意思である

それがこのアブラハムとイサクとの関係でもあり

絶対的な信頼であり

自分自身の一番大切なものを

捧げられますかという

そういうテストに対する

Regarding such tests.

アブラハムの反応

Abraham's reaction

それが神様の求めていることなわけですよね

That is what God is seeking, isn't it?

ですから神はここで

Therefore, God is here.

ギリギリ止められたわけです

I barely managed to stop it.

アブラハムにとってはもう

For Abraham, it's already...

イサクを完全に捧げた状態になっているわけです

It means that he is completely devoted to Isaac.

心の中では

しかし神は

もともとそんなことは

望んでおられない

Not wishing for it.

だからここで止められたわけです

I thought it was possible to bring people back to life from the dead.

Then he rose from among the dead.

イサクを取り戻したのです

I have recovered Isaac.

This is a mold.

ってはっきり書いてあるんですね

It's clearly stated, isn't it?

アブラハムにしてみれば

From Abraham's perspective

神がイサクを捧げなさいっておっしゃった時に

When God said to sacrifice Isaac

まずはてなですよね

First, it's a question mark, isn't it?

なぜかというと

The reason is that

神様はこのイサクを通して

God, through this Isaac,

子孫が生まれると仰せにならなかったかと

Did you not say that descendants would be born?

で今

So now

イサクを捧げなさいと言われたのですが

I was told to sacrifice Isaac.

イサクを捧げろってどういうことねん

What do you mean by "sacrifice Isaac"?

っていうことを

That is what I'm saying.

まずアブラハムは思ったと思います

First, I think Abraham must have thought.

どういうことなんだ

What does that mean?

このイサクが約束の子ではなかったのか

Wasn't this Isaac the promised child?

ここから多くの子孫が生まれるのではなかったのか

Wasn't a lot of descendants supposed to be born from here?

神はそうおっしゃったではないか

Did not God say that?

なぜ今神様はそれを捧げろとおっしゃるのか

Why is God asking us to offer that now?

ということを考えて考えて

Thinking about that and thinking about it.

たどり着いた結論は

そうか

I see.

神は私がイサクを捧げても

God will still accept me even if I offer Isaac.

もう一度イサクを戻してくださることができる

Can you bring Isaac back once more?

全能の神様なんだ

アブラハムは信じたんだ

Abraham believed.

っていうのが

新約聖書で説明されていること

イエスキリストの復活の方だ

信頼しきれるかどうかというテスト

それが本当に真実な方なのかどうか

それが一つともう一つは

自分の一番大切なものでも

Even the thing I cherish the most.

神に捧げることができるか

Can it be offered to God?

というこの二つの点において

ものすごく大きな試練だったと思います

さて思いのほか時間が過ぎているので

昔学生だった頃とか読んで

なんで神様はこんなことさせるのかな

っていう風に思いましたが

よく思ってましたね

でもこういう風に考えるといいかもしれないですね

But it might be good to think about it this way.

To the Earth

隕石がぶつかって

A meteorite collides.

人類が滅亡の危機に変しているとして

その隕石を止めるために

自分の命を犠牲にするとしましょう

事前に知っている場合

その中にはアブラハムに対する

試練という

A trial.

そういう側面があって

この人類救済の

アブラハム契約の最初のトップランナーである

The first top runner of the Abrahamic covenant.

代表選手であるアブラハムに

To the representative player, Abraham.

父がこうさせてくれるときに

When my father allows me to do this.

アブラハムに捧げるということが

What it means to be dedicated to Abraham.

どれほどのことなのかということを

アブラハム自身が体験する

ということが神様の願いだったのではないでしょうか

チャレンジを受けているということです

私たちの信仰は

循環されていくということでありました

先に誤解のないように言っておきますと

捧げるということは

これは今すぐあなたの全財産を

そういうことではないんですよね

これはあなたの持てるものすべて

This is everything you have.

あなたが特に握りしめているものを

What you are holding onto especially tightly.

それから手を離しなさいということだと思います

I think it means to let go.

神がそれをいつおとりになっても

Whenever God takes it away.

あるいはそれをいつ与えても

Or whenever it is given.

神のご意志のままにという

"According to the will of God."

そういう状態でいなさいということです

It means to stay in that state.

よく例えられるのは

A commonly used analogy is

例えば鳥がここにですね

For example, a bird is here.

パタパタと止まる

Stop fluttering.

それをその足をギュッと押さえながら

While firmly pressing down on that leg

鳥は自分の意志とは無関係

The bird is unrelated to its own will.

無関係にここにとどまらざるを得ない

I have no choice but to stay here unrelated.

しかし手を離せば

But if you let go of my hand...

ここにとどまるかもしれないし

I might stay here.

飛んでいくかもしれないし

It might fly away.

飛んでいってもまた戻ってきて

とどまるかもしれない

神様が何かをおとりになるなら

If God takes something away.

どうぞおとりください

神様がお与えになるなら

そのように私たちが握りしめている

そのグッと握りしめている

その手をゆるめること

それが捧げる委ねるということだと思うんです

しかしアブラハムにこれが起こったのもですね

アブラハムが若い頃に起こったのではなくて

It did not happen when Abraham was young.

本当に先ほど最初に言ったように

アブラハムが多くの試練を通して

Abraham went through many trials.

神様が真実であることを学んでいく

Learning that God is true.

学んでいってその最終段階として

As you learn, as the final stage.

このことが与えられたわけですよね

This is the reason it was given, right?

つまりその人の信仰の成熟度によって

In other words, depending on the maturity of that person's faith.

神様はそのチャレンジを適切にお与えになる

God gives challenges appropriately.

ということだと思います

最初から一番大切なものを

なかなか捧げられないというのが

人の誰でもそうだと思いますが

神様はそのチャレンジを

適切な形で与えてくださる

しかし話せば話すほど

アブラハムが目を上げてみると

When Abraham looked up,

見よ

Behold.

角を矢部に引っ掛けている一頭のお羊がいた

There was a sheep whose horn was caught on a corner.

アブラハムは行ってそのお羊を取り

Abraham went and took the ram.

それを自分の子の代わりに

Instead of my own child.

前生の生贄として捧げた

I was offered as a sacrifice in a past life.

そうしてアブラハムはその場所を

And so Abraham called that place

アドナイルへと名付けた

I named it Adonail.

今日でも主の山の上には

Even today, on the mountain of the Lord...

主の山の上には住まいがあると言い伝えられている

It is said that there is a dwelling on the mountain of the Lord.

私たちが何かを神様に捧げるときに

When we offer something to God

そこには原則があって

There is a principle there.

神様はそれを戻してくださるか

Will God bring it back?

戻してくださらなければ

If you don't return it.

さらに良いものを与えてくださる

ということだと思います

そしてこの続きで何て書いてあるかというと

もう一度神様がアブラハム契約の条項

握りしめていたイサクがありました

その健康でなければ人生ではないという

"Without health, there is no life."

私が握りしめている健康というものを話しなさい

というふうにゆっくりと私を導いてくださいました

They guided me slowly in that way.

そしてあるとき

本当にそれができたときがあって

神様あなたが私に健康をくださろうとくださるまいと

God, whether you give me health or not,

あなたに私は忠実に従います

I will faithfully follow you.

と告白することができたときがありました

There was a time when I was able to confess.

本当に楽になりましたね

本当に楽になりました

I really feel much better now.

神様が私に病気を与えるならそれでもいい

If God gives me an illness, that's okay.

健康を与えるならそれでもいい

If it gives health, then that's fine.

あなたの御心のままに私の人生を

一番いい形で用いてください

Please use it in the best way possible.

と言えたとき

When I could say that

本当に楽になりました

I really feel relieved.

ちなみにそれから

By the way, after that...

私の健康は回復に向かっています

My health is on the road to recovery.

それまでは7年以上全く横ばいでしたけど

It had been completely stagnant for over seven years until then.

今もまだ完全には治ってないですけど

It's still not completely healed yet.

悪いときに比べれば半分ぐらい楽になりました

半分ぐらい楽になったというのは

相当前と比べると生活の質が向上しましたけどね

あなたを不幸にするのではありません

手を離してごらんという風に言っておられるのだと思います

ちなみにダイヤモンドの石言葉っていうのがあってですね

石言葉っていうのなんですよ

永遠の絆、純潔、不屈とかっていうのが石言葉なんですよ

婚約指輪、給料3ヶ月分って言われますけどね

And it is in relation to our relationship with God.

永遠の絆を意味しているし

It symbolizes an eternal bond.

私たちが純潔でそしてどんなものにも屈しない

We are pure and will not succumb to anything.

そういう信仰の持ち主となる

To become a holder of such faith.

そういうものとなるということを意味しているわけです

じゃあ私たちは神様に何を捧げるのか

So what shall we offer to God?

私たちには握りしめれているたくさんのダイヤモンドがあると思いますね
