昨日初めてラジオトークで喋ってみて

Yesterday, I tried talking on radio talk for the first time.

結構面白くて

It's quite interesting.

なんか今日もまたやってみようかなと思ったんで

I thought I might give it another try today as well.

夜中かなり遅い時間なんですけど

It's quite late at night, isn't it?

今布団の中というかベッドの中でちょっと喋っているって感じですね

I feel like I'm just talking a bit while lying in bed.

今日は何について話そうかなとちょっと考えたんですけど

I thought a little about what to talk about today.

昔話というか

It's more like a folk tale.

数年前にあった出来事をちょっと思い出したんで

I remembered something that happened a few years ago.

喋ってみようかなと思うんですけど

I was thinking of trying to talk.

どういう出来事かっていうと

To explain what kind of event it is...

自分が一番最初に作ったウェブサービスを

The web service I created first.

公開した日

Date of publication

公開して

Publish it.

なんていうんだろうな

I wonder what to say.

こういうのを自分で作りましたって初めて人に

"I made something like this by myself for the first time to show to someone."

メールというかメールで送ってみた日

I mean the day I tried sending it via email.

から4年経ったんですね

It's been four years, hasn't it?

それをメールを見返してたら思い出して

I remembered it while reviewing my emails.

ちょっと懐かしくなったんで

I felt a bit nostalgic.

喋ってみようかなっていうのと

I was thinking about giving it a try and talking.

今の自分

My current self.

東京に来ている自分の始まりというか

It's like the beginning of my time in Tokyo.

ここから動き出したんだろうなって日が

I guess it was the day that set things in motion from here.

その4年前の

Four years ago.

昨日かな

Maybe yesterday.

なんですよね

That's how it is, isn't it?

だからちょっと話してもいいかなと思って今

So I thought I could talk to you for a bit right now.

今日はそのことにしています

I will make it a point to do that today.

今回の話について話そうかなと思ったわけですね

I thought I would talk about this story.

その時っていうのは僕は大学の大学の4年生で

At that time, I was a fourth-year student in university.

卒業論文を書いてた時だったんですよ

It was when I was writing my graduation thesis.

でその農学部地方の国立大学の農学部っていう

So, it's the agricultural faculty of a national university in the rural area.

その割とエンジニアというか全然だよね

It's not really engineering at all, is it?

全然ウェブサービスとかエンジニアっていうものと

Not at all related to web services or engineers.

関係ないところで過ごしてたんですけど

I was spending time in a place that had nothing to do with it.

関係ないというか情報として全然入ってこないような

It's not that it's irrelevant, but rather that it just doesn't come in as information at all.

ところで過ごしてたんですけど

By the way, I've been spending time.

なんかツイッターとか

自分でもアプリとかウェブサービスを作ってみたいって

I want to try making an app or web service myself.

その当時の俺は思ってて

At that time, I was thinking.

ほぼ独学でなんか自分でちょこちょこプログラミングの勉強を始めて

I started studying programming a bit on my own, mostly self-taught.

その卒業論文を書いてる傍ら夜中とか

While writing that graduation thesis, at night or something like that.

研究の間とかにちょこちょこその行動を書いて

During the research, jot down those actions here and there.

ウェブサービスを作ってみたいって思ってて

I've been thinking that I want to try creating a web service.

作ってたんですね

You were making it, huh?

卒業論文って1月って結構終盤というか大詰めの時期ぐらいだったんで

By January, the graduation thesis was quite at the final stages, or rather the climax of the process.

12月ぐらいか12月1月っていうのは結構終盤の大詰めというか

Around December or December and January is quite a critical final stage.

かなり忙しい時期だったんで

It was a quite busy time.

日中と夜もいたかな

I wonder if I was there during the day and night too.

ずっと研究室にいて研究というか卒業論文書いてて

I've been in the lab the whole time, writing my thesis rather than conducting research.

本当に家に帰ってきて

I'm really back home.

そうやって12時とか11時から2時とか3時ぐらいまで

Like that, from around 12 o'clock or 11 o'clock to around 2 or 3 o'clock.

ちょっとだけコード書くっていうのを

Just a little bit of code writing.

1ヶ月はかかんなかったかな

It didn't take a month, did it?

3週間ぐらいはかかったような気がしてますね

I feel like it took about three weeks.

それぐらいかけて作ったサービスでしたね

It was a service that took that much effort to create.

12月の最初ぐらいから作り始めて

"I started making it around the beginning of December."

でなんだかんだ作って

So, in the end, I ended up making it.

で1月の18日に

On January 18th,

その時に当時リリースしたばっかりだった

It had just been released at that time.

漫画新聞っていうサービスというか

It's a service called Manga Newspaper.

ウェブのメディアのところに

At the web media place.

自分漫画に関するウェブサービス作ったんで

I created a web service related to manga.

よかったら見てみてくださいみたいな感じで

It’s like, if you’d like, please take a look.

ただの地方の大学生が

Just a regular university student from the countryside.

ウェブサービス作ったんで

I created a web service.

見てくださいって生意気にも送ったわけですよね

I sent it arrogantly, asking you to look at it.

そしたらそこの社長からすぐ返信が来て

Then, I received a quick reply from the company president over there.

なんかすごいいいと思いますよと

I think it's really great.

もっとこうすると伸びると思いますよって

I think it will grow more if you do it like this.

アドバイスもらって

I received advice.

その当時は周りにウェブサービス作ってる人とかいなくて

At that time, there weren't any people around me who were creating web services.

どれだけ大変だとか

No matter how difficult it is

興味があるとかとか

I'm interested and so on.

興味を持ってくれる人もあんまりいなかったから

Because there weren't many people who showed interest.

そういう自分が作ったものに対して

Regarding the things I have created myself.

いいよいいと思うよとか反応をもらえたことが

I think it's good that I received a response like that.

すごい嬉しかったですねあれは

That was really嬉しかったですねあれは.

でそこに乗ったおかげで

Thanks to riding there.

その後ホリエモンで有名な

After that, famous for Horie-mon.

ホリエさんのサイトホリエモン.コムに掲載されて

結構ちょっとプチバズみたいな感じで

It feels like a bit of a mini buzz.

結構いろんなところで

In quite a few places.

されたり実際使ってもらえたりして

I get to experience it and actually use it.

なんか一気にサイトのサイトに来てる人の数が

It seems like the number of people coming to the site has suddenly increased.

一気にこうグーンと伸びた瞬間があって

There was a moment when I suddenly stretched out completely.

その辺を研究室で見てたんですけど

I was looking into that around the lab.

なんか故障故障したんじゃないかっていうか

I feel like something is broken or malfunctioning.

あれなんかバグが起きたかみたいな

It seems like a bug has occurred or something.

かなり動揺したの覚えてますね

I remember being quite shaken.

で調べてみると

When I looked it up

ホリエモン.コムに載ってたって言う

They say it was posted on Horiemon.com.

あれはなんかすごい

That is something amazing.

なんか今まで経験したことがないような

It's something I've never experienced before.

嬉しい体験でしたね

It was a joyful experience, wasn't it?

でその時のマンガ新聞っていうサービスというか

So at that time, there was a service called Manga Newspaper.

僕が東京に来た時に

When I came to Tokyo

偶然というかね

It's like a coincidence, I guess.

あれは必然なのかな

Is that inevitable, I wonder?

再開するわけなんですけど

I'm going to resume.

まさかあの時

I can't believe at that time.

こう自分が送って返信もらった社長と

This is the president I sent a message to and received a reply from.

今でなんかその子の未来というか

"Now, it's like that child's future or something."

その後の生活で

In life thereafter.

こう普通に話すような仲になるというか

It's like becoming close enough to talk normally.

一緒にご飯とか行くような仲になるとは

I never thought we would become close enough to go out for meals together.

すごい思ってなくて

I didn't think it was amazing.

なんか想像もできないような

Something that I can't even imagine.

4年後になってて

It will be four years later.

なんかすごい嬉しいというか

I'm just really happy, or something like that.

良かったなと思ってますね

I'm thinking that's great.

東京にも出てくるときにね

When you come out to Tokyo, you know.

来れないと思ってましたしね

I thought you wouldn't be able to come.

あの時は

At that time.

東京にも出てこれてるし

I can make it to Tokyo too.

すごい楽しい

It's really fun!

4年後になってますね

っていう感じでちょっと

It feels like that a little bit.

まとまりがないんかもしれないですけど

あの時嬉しかったことを思い出したら
